The program kicks off with a welcome circle for those in Bali. This is an optional gathering where you can meet fellow participants and get oriented. If you’re arriving right before the course begins, don’t worry – we’ll provide you with any necessary materials in advance. Just show up on Day 1 ready to practice, and we’ll ease you in.
Our daily schedule includes a variety of activities like asana, pranayama, and meditation practices. There will be lectures in the morning and afternoon, with breaks in between. You’ll have time for partner work, study groups, and relaxation. And of course, we’ll provide delicious meals to keep you fueled throughout the day.
In terms of practice components, you’ll experience Ayuryoga classes tailored to each dosha/element. You’ll also learn pranayama, breathwork, and meditation techniques. There will be hands-on group work and physical cleansing techniques.
On the theory side, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of Ayurveda, including its history, philosophy, elements, doshas, and gunas. You’ll learn about your own constitution and imbalanced state. We’ll also cover Ayurvedic nutrition, food combining, and daily/seasonal routines. And lastly, you’ll explore constitution-based AyurYoga.
