Beach Yoga Retreat in Thailand

You’ll have the opportunity to deepen and renew your yoga practice with daily Vinyasa Flow classes, Ashtanga, and pranayama breathing. We also offer Yin/Restorative yoga sessions, along with special sound healing and ceremonies to enhance your experience.
In addition to the incredible yoga and meditation sessions, you’ll have the chance to indulge in delicious tropical fruits like mango, jackfruit, and durians. We believe in nourishing your body with vegetarian and plant-based foods, so you’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about healthy living and holistic nutrition from a nutritionist.

Program
Are you ready to deepen your practice in Koh Tao? Our retreat days are designed to take your yoga and meditation practice to the next level and help you connect deeper to your body, soul, and mind.
At our retreat, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn about holistic food. We believe in balancing the mind-body-spirit connection and that includes making healthy food choices. You’ll enjoy plant-based, detoxifying, and nourishing meals that will help you find balance and strength from the inside out.
And let’s not forget about the beautiful landscape of Koh Tao! From the ocean to the sandy white beaches, the mountains, and palm trees, this place is truly breathtaking. Nature will speak to you and create a magical setting for your journey.
During your time with us, you’ll have a full daily itinerary. You’ll deepen your meditation, pranayama, and yoga practice, improve your holistic lifestyle, and even have the chance to experience free diving and ice baths. Plus, you’ll get to connect with other like-minded individuals and learn from their life experiences and cultures.
We want you to feel safe and supported throughout your retreat. We’ll provide plenty of time for healing, sharing, and moving through the body. But we also understand the importance of solo time for self-discovery and deepening your connection with your own body, mind, and soul.
Your check-in will be at 2 p.m. Our staff will be waiting for you at Prana Holistic Cafe, just below the yoga shala. After dropping off your belongings in your room, you’ll enjoy a welcome drink and have some time to rest or explore the area. Later, we’ll gather in the shala for the welcome circle, marking the beginning of our retreat.
Please note that the morning classes on January 1st and 2nd are not mandatory. At Free the Soul Retreats, we understand if you want to take a longer break. You can discuss your options with us the previous day. Remember, nothing is mandatory, we always encourage you to listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
The style of yoga in the morning will primarily be Ashtanga, but we’ll also incorporate fun Vinyasa flows and deep stretches with yin classes and sound healing sessions at sunset.

Retreat location
Koh Tao, also known as “The Turtle Island,” lies along the Surat Thani coastline and serves as Thailand’s top spot for scuba diving and free diving. You’ll find yourself in a small paradise with its white sandy beaches, delicious local cuisine, and stunning sunsets. Here, you can indulge in yoga classes, morning pranayama, and engaging rituals and meditations against the picturesque backdrop. It’s truly a slice of paradise!
Food
Living a holistic lifestyle means that you balance the connection between your mind, body, and spirit and make healthy food choices. You will be eating plant-based, detoxing, and nourishing meals to find balance and strengthen your body and soul from within.
On Koh Tao, you’ll find an abundance of fresh and local fruits that not only taste amazing but also provide you with a wealth of nutrients. These fruits will introduce you to flavors that are absolutely heavenly and that you may have never experienced before.
During your retreat, your yoga teacher, who is also a holistic nutritionist, will make breakfast a fun and informative experience by sharing knowledge about one or a few superfoods in your meal. This way, you can take that knowledge and apply it to your own meals at home.
Rest assured that during the retreat, you will be provided with holistic, organic, and plant-based food. This includes a delicious brunch as well as snacks and drinks throughout the day.

What's included
You will receive 6 nights of accommodation. There will be brunch and a fruit snack available. We will provide drinking water, juice, coffee, and tea. You can join yoga classes every day. Don’t forget about the daily pranayama and meditation sessions. You will also get 2 free diving lessons with an underwater professional video. Once you complete the course, you will receive a well-earned Freediving Certification from Apnea Total. We will even have an ice bath session for you to enjoy. Additionally, we will give you daily tips on holistic nutrition and superfoods. You can use our free WiFi and rely on the support and assistance of our staff.
