Program
Day 1: Sunday – You arrive and settle in at 14:00. At 18:00, we have our first introduction.
Day 2: Monday – Start your day with a refreshing sunrise yoga session at 07:00. Then, at 09:30, join us for a morning walk and an introduction to Balinese natural medicines. In the afternoon, at 15:00, we’ll be making Canang, the beautiful daily offerings in Balinese Hindu culture. As the day winds down, join us for a sunset yoga session at 17:00, followed by meditation at 18:00.
Day 3: Tuesday – Today, you have the option to choose between a Balinese excursion or a sound healing session at Pyramids Of Chi*. Immerse yourself in the local culture or rejuvenate your mind and body with healing sounds. In the evening, there will be another sunset yoga session at 17:00, followed by meditation at 18:00.
Day 4: Wednesday – Start your day with a rejuvenating sunrise yoga session at 07:00. Then, at 11:00, join our cooking class and learn how to make a delicious jackfruit curry for your own lunch. In the afternoon, at 15:00, we’ll be making Jamu, a traditional herbal tonic from Indonesia. As the day comes to an end, unwind with a sunset yoga session at 17:00.
Day 5: Thursday – Begin your day with a revitalizing sunrise yoga session at 07:00. At 11:00, join our hands-on herbal remedies class and discover the power of natural remedies. In the afternoon, at 16:00, indulge in a chocolate making session and learn the secrets of creating your own chocolate bar. As the sun sets, join us for another enchanting sunset yoga session at 17:00.
Day 6: Friday – Start your day with a calming sunrise yoga session at 07:00. In the evening, we’ll have another serene sunset yoga session at 17:00.
Day 7: Saturday – This is the day of departure. Check-out time is at 12:00.
Please note that due to Covid, there is a possibility that we may change the Balinese Excursion to a Sound Healing session at Pyramids of Chi.
Yoga classes: We offer a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin yoga, Yoga Nidra, Partner yoga, and Meditation. Each yoga class lasts for approximately 75 minutes.
Join our chocolate making session and discover the secrets of creating your own chocolate bar.
Experience the art of Canang making, which is one of the daily offerings made by Balinese Hindus. Canang is a way to show gratitude and devotion to the divine.
Learn the art of making Jamu, a traditional herbal tonic from Indonesia. Jamu utilizes natural materials, such as roots, bark, flowers, seeds, leaves, and fruits.
In our cooking class, you’ll learn how to create a delicious jackfruit curry that you can enjoy for your own lunch.
Included excursions
Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that FireFly Retreat might have to switch up the Balinese experience due to covid restrictions. Instead of the usual tour and activities, they may opt for a sound healing session. However, if everything goes as planned, the Balinese experience includes a tour of a traditional Balinese elementary school, watching the Barong dance, visiting a Balinese temple and receiving a holy bracelet, exploring the beautiful rice fields, and taking part in Balinese activities like making satay, traditional desserts, canang sari, natural coconut oil, and Balinese coffee. You’ll even get the chance to learn how to plant rice paddies and observe local Balinese artists painting with natural colors. Sounds like a pretty amazing experience, right? Also, they have a morning walk planned where you’ll get to stroll through the rice paddies while learning about the rice season, art, and Balinese culture. Hope that gives you a good idea of what to expect!
Retreat location
The retreat sits right in the heart of ricefields and jungles, just a 20-minute walk from Ubud center. It’s the perfect spot for guests who want to enjoy leisurely ricefield walks.
Food
During the retreat, we will serve you a daily organic and vegetarian breakfast(buffet), lunch, and dinner (1 dish from the menu is included) and you will receive one coconut per day. Our meals consist of a delightful mix of Indonesian and Western cuisines, with an emphasis on healthy dishes. If you wish to have extra dishes and juices, they are available at an additional cost. Here’s what’s included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Spa treatments
This retreat includes one Balinese massage in the total cost. If you’d like, you can also book other treatments for an extra charge of 11 EUR.

You will receive a 1-hour Balinese massage treatment. You will have 6 nights of accommodation. You can enjoy daily coconut. We will take you on a Balinese experience tour. You will have the opportunity to learn Balinese offering class. You can also taste herbal tea. Join our fun chocolate class. Learn to cook in our cooking class. Make your own herbal drink. We provide yoga mats for your use. You will have access to Wi-Fi.
What's not included
Here are the things that are included in the program expenses: airfare, airport transfers, additional meals and juices, and any other requests you may have. However, any additional transportation outside of the program is not covered.
