Food
Food is a crucial source of energy and nourishment for our bodies. The quality and types of food we consume have a significant impact on our physical and mental well-being. When it comes to yoga, food is seen as more than just nutrition for the body. A proper diet is an essential part of a holistic yogic practice, as it provides the necessary nutrients and energy for our bodies, while also considering the energetic aspect of nutrition.
Have you ever noticed how the food you eat affects your yoga practice? In Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, the concept of “Sattva” emphasizes purity and promotes self-control, spiritual well-being, intelligence, virtue, awareness, and happiness. Sattvic foods, which are pure in both mind and body, nourish our minds, promote clarity, compassion, and calmness, and help sharpen our intellect.
According to the Bhagavad-Gita, a sattvic diet is light, easy to digest, and enriched with purity or prana. It fosters positive thoughts and brings satisfaction to the mind. By following a sattvic diet, you can stay alert, refreshed, and peaceful.
During our yoga courses, we follow the teachings of Ayurveda by providing our students with delicious vegan meals three times a day. Our experienced and caring kitchen team prepares the food hygienically and with love. Meals are served buffet style, offering a variety of vegetarian dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can enjoy unlimited servings and also have access to refreshing drinks throughout the day.
So, when you join our course, rest assured that you will have access to nutritious, tasty meals that align with the principles of Ayurveda. Start your journey towards a healthier and more balanced lifestyle with us!
