Food
Food fuels the human body and provides life-giving energy. The quality and types of food you eat affect your physical and mental well-being. In yoga, food is seen as more than just nutrition for the body. A proper diet is essential for a complete yogic practice, considering the energetic aspect of nutrition. Have you noticed how the food you eat impacts your yoga practice? Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, explains the effects of different foods on your overall well-being. According to Ayurveda, “Sattva” represents purity in both self-control and spiritual well-being, seen through intelligence, virtue, awareness, and happiness. Sattvic foods promote purity in mind and body, nourishing the mind, promoting clarity, compassion, and calmness. They also sharpen your intellect and are light and easy to digest. A sattvic diet is enriched with prana or purity, fostering positive thoughts and mind satisfaction. Following such a diet can keep you alert, refreshed, and peaceful. During the course, students are provided with tasty vegan meals prepared hygienically and with love by our experienced kitchen team. The meals are buffet-style and include a variety of vegetarian dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Drinks are also provided.
