We have carefully designed this 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training course for people of all ages, physical abilities, and with any prior experience in yoga. The course moves at a pace that makes it easy for beginners to understand while also giving experienced students plenty of chances to enhance their practice. You will explore ancient texts and practices from yoga traditions that have developed over thousands of years, and you will personally experience the amazing benefits of holistic health through Classical Hatha yoga.

200-Hour Classical Hatha Teacher Training in Thailand
This special 200-hour classical Hatha yoga teacher training course follows traditional practices deeply rooted in ancient history. We have meticulously crafted this course for people of all ages, physical abilities, and prior experience with yoga. The pace of the course makes it easy for beginners to grasp the rich teachings while giving experienced students plenty of opportunities to deepen their practice and understanding. You will dive deep into ancient texts and practices derived from yogic traditions accumulated over thousands of years. Final Certification
The yoga school and training program is registered and approved by Yoga Alliance, which means you will receive training that meets their standards for minimum hours for techniques and training, teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy, and practicum. Upon successful completion of the course, you will qualify for RYT 200 certification which will open many doors for you if you wish to teach internationally.
Extended Practicum
At One Yoga, we believe in providing students with the necessary tools and opportunities to become confident and competent yoga teachers. That’s why we offer our newly graduated students the unique opportunity to continue their practical training by teaching free yoga classes to the local community. This hands-on experience allows you to put into practice what you have learned in training and gain valuable teaching experience in a supportive and familiar environment. Furthermore, the extended practicum provides you with the opportunity to give back to the community and share your passion for yoga with others.
Special Features of the Course
This yoga teacher training program stands out for its emphasis on teaching classical Hatha yoga practices, including practices that extend beyond the physical asanas. While you will receive comprehensive instruction on postural yoga, One Yoga also offers in-depth education on yogic philosophy, breathing techniques, and meditation practices, providing a level of understanding that surpasses most other training programs. This unique meditation program, when combined with yoga, will significantly enhance the benefits of the practice. By the end of the course, you will not only be equipped to teach physical yoga classes, but you will also have a deep understanding of the spiritual and philosophical dimensions, enabling you to guide your students towards a more meaningful and fulfilling practice.
Skill Level
Beginners are welcome. For the teacher training courses, One Yoga recommends at least one year of experience with yoga or meditation. All of the classes we offer are designed to provide safe and balanced instruction for all levels of experience, with an emphasis on bringing each student to their edge, and to a place where they can physically, mentally, and spiritually open and expand the most. One Yoga encourages students to listen to their bodies as much as possible and take resting poses whenever necessary.

Part 1: Yoga training and practices
- Learn classical yoga poses along with the physical, energetic, and healing effects
- Practice Pranayama, Mudras, and bandhas
- Explore Kriyas – the classical purification exercises
- Relaxation techniques and various meditation practices
- Understand how to teach and practice the techniques
Part 2: Teaching practices and methodology
- Learn teaching methodology, including demonstration and assisting students
- Understand teaching styles and qualities of a teacher
- Learn class sequencing and layout
- Prepare for building a yoga class
- Meet the needs of students of all levels
- Acquire the Principles of teaching different asanas
Part 3: Yoga anatomy and physiology
- Study Subtle Anatomy and Physical Anatomy
- Understand Functional Anatomy and Human Physiology
Part 4: Yoga philosophy, lifestyle, and ethics
- Explore the 8 limbs of yoga from Patanjali and Yamas and Niyamas
- Learn about the History of yoga and yoga-asanas works
- Understand Sat Karma Kriyas, Sublimation, and energy flow
- Study the Polarity, Contemplative Hatha yoga, The Consciousness of Oneness, Prana and pranayama, and more
Part 5: Practicum
- Practice teaching, receive feedback, and observe others teaching

- 06:30 to 07:00 Meditation

Retreat location
This program is happening in Koh Phangan, located in the province of Surat Thani in Thailand.
Sri Thanu Beach, on the island of Koh Phangan, is a hotspot for yoga and wellness enthusiasts in Southeast Asia. You will have many chances to discover this beautiful island and connect with people from around the globe who share your interests.
Food
Vegetarian Meals
The teaching days will have healthy vegetarian breakfast and lunch buffets included in the course fee.
Breakfast
You’ll kick off your day with a nutritious breakfast like tropical fruit with coconut yogurt and granola, or a hearty scrambled tofu.
Lunches
Enjoy a variety of salads, curries, and dishes from Thai, Indian, and Western cuisines for lunch.
Dinner is not included
For dinner, there are plenty of healthy vegan and vegetarian options available just minutes away from the yoga center. Prices range from 4 to 10 USD per meal.
No Meals on Sundays
Just a heads up, there won’t be any meals served on Sundays as it’s a day off.

What's included
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion or eligibility to register with Yoga Alliance. You will also get a 200-hour classical Hatha yoga teacher training course, a course manual, breakfast and lunch on all teaching days (excluding Sundays), 27 nights of accommodation, and 30-day free access to One Yoga Online Studio.
What's not included
– We have dinner and meals on Sundays.
– You have to cover the travel cost to Koh Phangan, Thailand.
– You will need to pay for a taxi from the pier to the school (approximately 200 THB each way).
– Don’t forget about the visa cost.
