We’ve designed this course specifically to help students gain a deep understanding of yogic principles, techniques, and philosophy. It’s a mix of mainly Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga, with some knowledge of Yin, Nidra, and Kriya. You’ll dive into the ancient art of yoga, exploring this knowledge in-depth with passionate teachers in a nurturing environment for your heart and soul, surrounded by others who are also seeking spiritual growth.

We connect your mind, body, and spirit through the teachings of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. You will learn everything about the ancient practice and philosophy of yoga.
Course
Our classes focus on practice and feedback, so our mentors can work closely with you and help you achieve the best results.
1. Yoga postures (asana)
- You will learn various standing and seated postures
- We will also cover deep spinal bends and rotations
- Inversions and balancing poses are included
- We will teach you both English and Sanskrit names of the poses
2. Anatomy and physiology
- You’ll learn about the structure of the body, including bones and muscles
- We will show you how to use anatomy to support yoga poses
- You’ll understand how yoga affects the body systems
- We will teach you contraindications and how to adjust for injuries
3. Meditation (Dhyana)
Meditation is a practice that brings physical, mental, and emotional tranquility. Its purpose is to reach self-realization, known as Samadhi.
4. Pranayama (breathing practices)
- Learn about yogic breathing and its benefits
- We will teach you Nadi Shodana and Kapalbhati techniques
- You’ll discover how to incorporate pranayama into your yoga classes
- We will discuss contraindications of pranayama
5. Teaching methodology
- Learn how to design and sequence a yoga class
- You’ll understand adjustment techniques for students
- Discover how to provide hands-on assistance
- We’ll teach you verbal cues to support your students
- Understand correct alignment and potential risks of yoga poses
- Get plenty of teaching practice with feedback from our experts
6. Teaching practice
- Develop your skills in demonstration, alignment, instruction, correction, and observation
7. Mudras (yoga gestures)
Performing mudras affects the energy flow in your body and can enhance your spiritual and mental characteristics.
8. Recitation of sacred sound (mantra chanting)
Chanting mantras generates vibrations and helps you connect with the universe. Each mantra is special and carries spiritual energy.
9. Yoga Nidra (psychic sleep)
Yoga Nidra takes you through various states of profound relaxation. It brings a sense of pure bliss, known as “Turiya.”
10. Yoga cleansing (Shatkarma)
Shatkarma practices remove blockages in your energy channels, promoting overall well-being.
11. Yoga Bandhas (energy lock)
Bandhas help expand lung capacity and improve breathing abilities during yoga. They strengthen your entire body from the inside out.
12. Yoga Philosophy (Yoga Darshana)
Understanding yoga philosophy is key to developing a well-rounded yoga practice and gaining yogic strength.
Schedule
Every day at our YTT in Bali is an extraordinary experience. Our program is designed to strike a perfect balance between yoga practice, alignment, anatomy, teaching methodology, and philosophy. Our amazing teachers will guide and support you through this important transformation in your life as you become a yogi who shares wisdom and love with others.
Daily schedule
- From 06:00 to 09:00: Morning asana, pranayama, and meditation practice
- From 09:00 to 10:15: Breakfast
- From 10:15 to 13:00: Theory classes on anatomy and philosophy
- From 13:15 to 14:30: Lunch
- From 14:30 to 15:00: Yoga Nidra
- From 15:00 to 16:00: Workshops on teaching practice and methodology
- From 16:00 to 17:00: Workshop on alignment
- From 17:00 to 18:30: Evening asana flow, mantra, and meditation practice
- From 18:30 to 19:30: Dinner and free time to connect with others
Retreat location
House of Om is situated in the heart of Bali, right in between two rivers, and it’s just surrounded by stunning greenery! It’s like being in a jungle paradise in Bali. You’ll get to uncover the amazing cascade gems of Bali with over 10 waterfalls within a 10-kilometer radius. And if you’re up for exploring Bali’s natural beauty, there are three magnificent parks just a 20-minute drive away. Plus, you can have a blast swimming, surfing, and simply relaxing at Bali’s three beautiful beaches within 10 kilometers.
Food
We’ll serve you vegan and vegetarian food during your YTT retreat. Our team prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets specifically for the retreat, featuring nutritious meals to accommodate any dietary restrictions. You can enjoy a variety of options, including fresh juices, salads, soups, appetizers, main courses, fruits, and healthy desserts. We also provide all-day detox drinks, tea, coffee, and infused water. If you have any allergies or follow a gluten-free diet, please let us know beforehand. Additionally, we’ll provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks as part of the package.
Things to do (optional)
Most students use the time after classes to rest and prepare for the next day. However, there are 2 days off throughout the training when you can explore the island. These days might or might not be on the weekends.
What's included
You’ll receive full course training and materials. We’ll provide you with a certificate of completion. You’ll also have 19 nights of accommodation. Your daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, will be taken care of. Plus, you’ll have access to all-day infused water, jamu, herbal tea, and coffee. We’ll also provide you with yoga instruments/tools. As a special gift, you’ll receive a multi-use traditional Balinese attire (sarong) and a handmade yoga bag.
