Program
They will help you cultivate both your inner and outer body to get the most out of your teachings of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga yoga styles. Our yoga TTC program has been divided into practical and theoretical parts to provide you with the best knowledge and skills in yoga.
In our 100 Hours yoga course, you will learn about yoga postures, mantra chanting, breathing practices or pranayama, energy locks or Bandhas, yoga philosophy and anatomy, Mudras, meditation, yoga cleansing, and yoga Nidra. We start with teaching methodology, applications, and benefits of yoga to sharpen your skills.

Here is a breakdown of our daily schedule:
– 06:30 Pranayama and meditation
– 08:00 Asana (Hatha, Iyengar, and alignment – intro to the technique and practice)
– 09:30 Breakfast
– 11:00 Teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, alignment and adjustment
– 13:00 Lunch break
– 14:00 Rest or self-study
– 15:30 Philosophy (history of yoga, yog darshan)
– 16:30 Asana (Vinyasa and flow)
– 19:00 Dinner
The course syllabus includes yoga postures, pranayama, meditation, mantra chanting, anatomy and physiology, alignment and adjustment, philosophy, mudras and Bandhas, and Shatkarmas. We will also focus on teaching methodology to equip you with the necessary skills to become a confident yoga instructor.
In our asana classes, you will learn various poses such as the Mountain Pose, Triangle Pose, Warrior I and II, Side Angle Pose, Downward-Facing Dog, and many more.
Pranayama, or breathing exercises, are the foundation of yoga practice. You will learn different techniques such as Alternate Nostril Breathing, Skull Shining Breathing, Victorious Breath, and more.
Meditation is a practice of observing your deep breaths to still your mind. You will explore different styles including Traditional Himalayan meditation, healing meditation, crystal meditation, and sound meditation.
Mantra chanting is a powerful practice that helps in the union of the body with the mind. You will learn the significance of mantra chanting, Sanskrit pronunciation, and different mantras for meditation.
Anatomy and physiology classes will cover the skeletal system, muscular system, respiratory system, nervous system, circulatory system, digestive system, common injuries, and modifications for different body types.
Alignment and adjustment classes will focus on proper alignment in yoga poses and hands-on adjustments. You will learn key alignment cues, common misalignments and injuries, and how to adjust and assist students safely.
Philosophy classes will introduce you to the philosophical underpinnings of yoga, including Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the Eight Limbs of Yoga, the Bhagavad Gita, and the concept of Karma.

Retreat location
Maa Shakti Yog, has registered yoga schools in Bali and Rishikesh called “Maa Shakti Yog”. We’re so fortunate to have our school in such a stunning location. In Bali, we bring the traditional knowledge of yoga to you in a carefully curated way through our courses. Ubud, the region where our school is located, is nestled in the foothills of the Gianyar regency. It boasts magnificent rice paddies and a lush forest area. This region is rapidly growing and becoming a renowned global yoga destination. People from all over the world visit Ubud with aspirations for spiritual growth, and the village is succeeding in fulfilling those dreams for many. Although Ubud is not in India, it follows Hinduism and incorporates the spiritual path of yoga. With its breathtaking beauty and the professionalism of its people, Bali is truly one of the best places to start or enhance your yoga journey.
Food
Maa Shakti Yog believes that food is an important part of their 100-hour yoga teacher training program. They follow the Ayurvedic proverb that says, “When the diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When the diet is correct, medicine is of no need.” That’s why they make sure to serve yogic food in all their yoga programs. The meals are made with fresh seasonal vegetables, fruits, and juices. They offer mainly vegan and vegetarian options to help guests reconnect with nature and find balance in a delicious way. You’ll get three healthy and nutritious meals every day. The school not only prepares yummy food but also creates a cozy environment where they share ideas while cooking. They have a variety of good stuff like fresh vegetables, salads, fruits, juices, and more. If you have any dietary requirements like vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or others, they can cater to your needs. The meals included are breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks.
