This yoga retreat wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Instead of a structured program with intermediate and advanced classes as advertised, I was placed in a room at a yoga school where I could join some classes from the 300h TTC group. The lack of check-in, introductions, or a designated program left me, the other students, and the teachers feeling uncomfortable. It was clear that the four of us who signed up for the retreat were out of place amidst people training to become teachers. Despite the disappointment with the retreat, the traditional yoga school itself was great with a fantastic location and facilities. The staff and teachers were lovely, it's just a shame that the retreat wasn't properly advertised.
This yoga retreat was not what I expected. I stayed at a yoga school where I had the option to join some classes from the 300h TTC group. It made me, the other students, and the teachers uncomfortable. The 4 people who signed up for the retreat didn't receive any check-in, introductions, schedule, or dedicated teachers. Instead, we were expected to participate in classes where others were training to become teachers. I am already a teacher and was hoping for intermediate or advanced classes, or at least classes tailored to me and the retreat attendees. The school itself was great with fantastic facilities and a nice location. The staff and teachers were wonderful. It's just a shame that the "retreat" wasn't advertised properly.
