About the training
Our training program aims to create professionally trained yoga teachers in line with the teachings of yoga (Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Yoga sutras of Patanjali, Bhagavan Gita, Tantra Yoga) using a standardized international curriculum. At Pranava Yoga Bali, we provide a strong foundation that will enable you to safely and effectively sequence and teach both Vinyasa and Hatha yoga classes. You will gain a solid understanding of how the body works, allowing you to teach from a functional anatomy perspective and correct student postures. We also introduce you to other types of yoga such as Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, Nidra, prenatal, and antigravity yoga.
Who can join this course?
- The course is open to individuals aged 18 to 65.
- You must be physically and mentally healthy and fit.
- If you aspire to become a yoga teacher, this course is for you.
- If you already practice yoga and want to deepen your knowledge and practice, you are welcome to join.

1. Ashtanga Vinyasa
Inspired by Ashtanga yoga, this style synchronizes movement and breath to create a harmonious flow. It emphasizes postural alignment and often includes a short meditation or breathing practice.
2. Vinyasa power
Vinyasa power is an invigorating and dynamic class that involves a continuous series of flowing postures synchronized with the breath.
3. Vinyasa flow
Vinyasa flow yoga focuses on synchronizing breath and movement, bringing deeper awareness to each posture.
4. Creative power
Creative power is a dynamic practice that awakens the body and mind at the start of the day. By combining breath with mental focus, it stimulates creative energy and invigorates the body. This class has a soothing, gentle pace.
5. Hatha yoga
This fast-paced class uses breath to awaken the body and energize the mind.
6. Hatha chakra
Hatha chakra yoga is a gentle and simple practice that focuses on the breath and the seven chakra energy in every movement. It aims to balance the seven chakra energy through movement and deep breath.
7. Anti-gravity yoga
Anti-gravity yoga combines yoga, acrobatics, and dance for a fun and invigorating experience. Using comfortable hammocks and suspended harnesses, deeper postures can be achieved. This class is ideal for those who struggle with backbends and inversions or anyone looking to improve flexibility while having fun.
Curriculum
Our program provides training in the fundamental principles of teaching and living yoga. By embarking on this journey, you will grow personally and be able to share your passion for yoga with others. Our curriculum covers:
- Techniques, training, and practice
- Asana, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, mudra, bandha, nadhi, chakra, and glands
- Philosophy, Ashtanga yoga, layers of the mind, Kriya practice, and yoga Sutra Patanjali
- Teaching methodology, public speaking, asana lab, adjustment, and alignment
- Full moon or new moon ceremonies
- Introduction to Yin, Yoga Nidra, prenatal yoga, and antigravity yoga
- Balinese water purification and blessing
Sample daily schedule
- 07:00 – 08:00 Enjoy breakfast

- 11:00 – 13:00 Engage in asana practice, meditation, or pranayama

Retreat location
The course will be held in the beautiful and small island of Bali, specifically in Badung, Indonesia. Bali is definitely a perfect place to visit because of its stunning scenery. You’ll be greeted by the friendly and always smiling Balinese people, who know how to make everyone feel welcome. Our location is right in the heart of Canggu, just 11 kilometers away from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). You can easily reach amazing places like Berawa Beach in just a three-minute drive, while Batu Bolong and Echo Beach are just a 10-minute drive away. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shopping centers within walking distance. So, get ready to explore and enjoy everything that this wonderful island has to offer!
