Yin Yoga and Chinese Meridians Teacher Training
This training goes beyond the traditional teacher training curriculum to explore Yin Yoga & Chinese Meridians and their physical and emotional aspects. Whether you’re a certified yoga teacher or a passionate practitioner, this training will deepen your understanding of the human physical and energetic body and emotions.
Program
Certifications
This course counts as Continuing Education hours for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®). It fully prepares you from the physical foundation of yin yoga to creating impactful classes that promote the wellbeing of your future students. You’ll spend nine intense days on the magical island of Koh Phangan, attending daily lectures and yoga classes. Make sure to attend all classes for a shot at Yoga Alliance certification.
Course curriculum
- We’ll start each day with morning yang style yoga classes (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Yang, Aerial)
- Wind down in the evenings with yin yoga classes (Yin, Restorative, Aerial Yin)
- Learn about yin and restorative yoga asanas, teaching methodology, and trauma awareness
- We’ll explore meditation, Daoist philosophy, the Traditional Chinese meridian system, and anatomy
- Get introduced to Yoga Nidra and aromatherapy
Bonus activities
- Visit a temple and a waterfall
- Join a Kirtan session and try out fire meditation
Assessment and certification
Throughout the course, we’ll assess you continuously, including practical and written examinations at the end. Successful completion qualifies you for 50 hours of Yin yoga teacher Continued Education training with Yoga Alliance. If you haven’t completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training yet, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion. This can be used as Continued Education hours if you decide to pursue a 200-hour training later.

Saturday, February 3
- Check in from 12:00 to 15:00
- Opening ceremony from 15:00 to 18:00
- Sunset team dinner from 18:00 to 20:00
Sunday, February 4
- Meditation at 08:00
- Vinyasa yoga at 09:00
- Brunch from 10:00 to 12:00
- Lecture and asana lab from 13:00 to 15:00
- Yin yoga anatomy at 15:00
- Philosophy at 16:00
- Yin yoga at 17:00
- Homework and self-study from 19:00 to 21:00
(And so on for the rest of the schedule)

Retreat location
We will be holding this retreat on Koh Pha-ngan in Surat Thani Province of Thailand.

The package includes a daily vegan/vegetarian brunch. GreenOmlet encourages participants to explore the amazing food options this island has to offer in the evenings. You’ll get to enjoy brunch every day.
