I was lucky enough to be a part of a 200H Yoga Teacher Training program that completely exceeded my expectations. It was such an incredible experience that not only helped me dive deeper into the world of yoga, but also allowed me to expand my knowledge on various aspects of yoga, including the spiritual side.

The instructors were truly amazing – they were so knowledgeable, kind-hearted, and incredibly passionate. With their support, our group was able to create a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth, self-discovery, and sharing.

I must say, everything was incredibly well organized. I highly recommend it! ❤️

I’m so glad I chose ULU Yoga! Everything was just perfect – from the course to the food. But what I really loved was that our group wasn’t big. It meant that we could all chat and make friends easily, without feeling like we were being mass-produced.

The teachers were so welcoming and knowledgeable. You really felt like you were in good hands. I learned so much about yoga and the lifestyle, and even discovered more about myself. My time at ULU Yoga in Uluwatu was simply amazing, and I’m grateful for such a wonderful experience!

I absolutely loved everything! I should have signed up for 21 days instead of 14 days. Uluyoga has truly excelled in making sure we are in the best environment to fully immerse ourselves in the learning experience. The teachers are so friendly and easy to approach, and the administrative staff is so caring and responsible. The classes were perfectly structured, allowing us to gradually build our confidence and familiarity with teaching, even if we had never taught before. I was excited for classes every single day, especially because I had an amazing group of new friends to share the experience with.

I stayed at One Degree Sunset Hill, which is located on the main road, so it can get noisy at night. Just a heads up for light sleepers. But overall, the place was clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there was no fridge in the room, which was a bit of a bummer.

I’m giving this place a rating of 5, even though I feel like the room was more of a 4/5 in terms of quality and price. But that’s not their fault. Now, let me tell you about my experience doing my 200-hour YTT with Uluyoga in Bali.

All of the teachers were absolutely amazing! I loved how they combined the authenticity of yoga with their humble and caring personalities. Plus, being in Bali and close to the beaches made it the perfect environment. If you’re looking for a well-organized school with a great balance of different teachers and their energy and knowledge, this is the place to go. I really appreciated that they exposed us to various styles of yoga, so we could choose our preferences and discover new things. Trust me, it’s worth a try.

The breakfast that was included was delicious. They offer both sweet and savory options, so you have a choice every day. The yoga studio itself is peaceful and conveniently located, with plenty of good restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner.

A huge shoutout to the entire ULU yoga team! Our lead teacher, Héloïse, was absolutely amazing. Her energy was infectious, and she had a wealth of knowledge about chakras. She also taught us how to create a safe space to open up emotionally. Manjeet, the philosophy teacher, was also incredible. His knowledge was a perfect blend of traditional Indian teachings and a modern, funny, and humble approach. Salome, Eddie, Lloyd, Flo, and Krystal, who taught ashtanga, aerial yoga, acro yoga, and vinyasa respectively, were all fantastic as well. And I can’t forget Tania, the coordinator, who was incredibly helpful and caring. Each one of them brought their own unique touch to the experience.

I highly recommend this place. Give it a go!

Honestly, I loved everything. The organization, the food, the teachers, the class schedule – it was all great. It was such an amazing and life-changing experience. I’m new to the yoga world and didn’t know what to expect, but I enjoyed every single class. The teachers were all unique and knowledgeable, and I felt so welcomed and valued. Our group of students became like a little family to me, full of understanding and love. We cried, we laughed, we shared experiences, and we practiced meditation, pranayamas, and asanas together. We even went for massages and had meals together. It was truly an unforgettable journey of personal growth. I am so grateful for this incredible opportunity to gain so much knowledge and have the tools to overcome life’s challenges. And I’m excited for the beautiful moments that lie ahead. ???

I personally got a little bored in Uluwatu, which I think was the only downside of it. I would have found it fantastic if this program had been in Ubud. I absolutely loved my training here. I opted for the 3-week 200-hour advanced course, and what I loved most about it was the flexibility it offered as a hybrid program. It provided an excellent all-encompassing experience that introduced me to many different styles of yoga. I must say, most of the instructors were really great!

Well…Bali can be unpredictable, but if you keep an open mind about changes in the schedule or program, you’ll be fine. Our team did a great job adapting to challenges like construction noise at the venue. If you can, I suggest going for the premium package for the hotel rooms onsite with the shala – it’s totally worth it. The content and learning format were top-notch. The online videos really complemented the in-person program. The instructors were genuine, caring, and knowledgeable. We got to experience a wide range of yoga styles, which was a lot of fun. I always felt well taken care of and safe. If you’re looking for an authentic teacher training experience, I highly recommend Ulu Yoga.

Ulu created an amazing swing for us to use, and it’s so easy to use. I had such a great time trying it out. Now, I just need to figure out how to apply what I learned to the swings we have back home. ULU yoga’s Aerial Teacher Training was absolutely fantastic. Eddie really went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. Our training took place at Bamboo, which was such a lovely and cozy space. The staff was incredibly kind, and the food was delicious. The days were perfectly structured with a good blend of theory, practice, and relaxation time. Minty, our teacher, was absolutely amazing. She had so much knowledge and warmth. Heloise was great, and Lloyd did an incredible job explaining anatomy. Eddie’s morning aerial flow was the highlight of my day. Our group consisted of 12 people, half of whom were already yoga teachers, while the other half were new to aerial yoga. The course was flexible enough to accommodate all levels, which was really impressive. We all felt so grateful for the experience and quickly became close friends. Our accommodation at Taman Sari was also great.

I am incredibly grateful that I found the yoga teacher training and the amazing community at Ulu Yoga. From the very beginning, Eddie and the team were so supportive, and their support only grew stronger as I needed it. I went through some serious health issues during the training, but every person at Ulu Yoga was there for me. They helped me get through the training without missing a single class, and I grew so much as an instructor. It was a truly profound experience to go through personal growth while dealing with health problems. I’ll never forget how I was embraced and supported instead of judged. Having a yoga family that celebrates your victories is what sets Ulu Yoga apart. The constant empowerment and support I received really helped me gain confidence in my new skills and knowledge. It’s no surprise that Ulu Yoga produces the highest quality yoga instructors in the world. I will always be grateful and I promise to bring that same love, support, and genuine care into my practice for my students. I also love that Eddie created the aerial yoga swing. I bought one because the one I had was too complicated. It’s such a relief when doing what you love from home becomes easy. The amazing people at Ulu Yoga will always hold a special place in my heart. My only hope is to see more lives impacted in the same way mine was.

I had an amazing experience with the course, but the only aspect that wasn’t perfect was the 3D accommodation. They didn’t clean it as often and there were a few times when we didn’t have water. Some people might have found that to be a problem, but it didn’t bother me at all. I saw it as part of the experience and embraced it, living like a local. I loved it so much that I would definitely stay there again. The communication with the girls through emails was fantastic from the beginning. They provided all the support I needed to feel safe and confident about the course.

The online classes were incredibly inspiring and exciting. I’ve never enjoyed studying so much in my life. I loved all of the teachers, but Manjeet was my absolute favorite. His wisdom and energy were palpable through the screen. His classes gave me the experience and understanding of Yoga philosophy, as well as the benefits of Pranayama and training our minds. Cody’s Anatomy classes were also very interesting. I really enjoyed his dynamic teaching style, which made it much easier to understand.

Choosing between Thailand and Indonesia for the in-person portion was a tough decision, but my heart and intuition led me to Bali. And I am so grateful for that choice. Uluwatu is an incredible town with amazing energy, beautiful beaches, and fantastic restaurants.

Every person I met at our Shala holds a special place in my heart. From my classmates to the teachers to everyone working at Le Bamboo, they have created a supportive community where we not only learned new skills, but also how to connect with and love ourselves. I loved all the different activities that Ulu provided for us. They helped us build confidence as teachers and encouraged us to be creative and intuitive in our classes.

I feel truly blessed to have found this course and had this life-changing experience.

In the original shala, there was only 1 toilet. But the ULU program was fantastic. It gave us a great mix of theory, yoga history, vinyasa, hatha, yin, acro, and aerial yoga.

The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. They were all-around great humans, which made the learning experience so much better.

The best part was the mix of students. People from all over the world, with different yoga backgrounds and ages, made the 3 weeks so much fun. We all became great friends.

Now, the new ULU shala is amazing. It’s well-appointed and offers stunning views.

What I loved most was that you could choose your own accommodation and find your own lunch and dinner options. For me, staying at the Hidden Hills Villas was perfect. They were absolutely stunning, and it was an easy walk to both ULU Shalas.

I went through an amazing transformational experience that left me feeling inspired, knowledgeable, and with lifelong friends.

One thing that really stood out during the training was the daily asana labs. They were focused on teaching and improving our asanas and cues. Each day, we had the chance to practice teaching different asanas, which helped us truly learn and internalize the techniques. I really appreciated this hands-on approach because I was specifically looking for a training that offered practical application. I was also able to do some online study, which gave me the freedom to learn at my own pace. I only joined in person when I felt ready, and I even got an extra bonus day!

The teachers were the heart and soul of this training. They had extensive knowledge and a true passion for yoga, creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment. They guided me to explore Vinyasa and Hatha yoga on a deeper level, expanding my understanding of these styles.

The shala where the training took place was newly built and had air conditioning (which was a must for me). The views of the ocean were breathtaking, and we got to witness colorful sunsets every day.

This training was more than just teaching yoga poses. It taught me the power of self-discovery, connection, and the ability we all have to inspire positive change. I now feel confident and ready to take on the world and start teaching!

Hey, there are a few things I wanted to mention here:

First, the accommodation. The hotels are pretty basic, nothing too fancy. So just keep that in mind and manage your expectations.

Next, let’s talk about communication and arrangement. We did have a slight miscommunication and coordination issue because there were two classes going on at the same time. But hey, it’s understandable. It was my first yoga teacher training and my first time visiting Bali. And let me tell you, the three weeks I spent there were absolutely amazing!

It turned out to be so much more than just learning yoga and becoming a yoga teacher. I’m truly grateful for everything I learned. I discovered self-love, bravery, and the importance of staying humble. And so much more!

Now, here are a few reasons why I definitely recommend Ulu yoga:

First, they offer a variety of courses. Not just your traditional yoga, but also things like aerial, acro, beach, and SUP. As an aerial yoga lover, I had a blast playing around with Ulu’s unique hammock.

Next, the people. The teachers are all lovely, caring, and knowledgeable. And the best part? They all come from different backgrounds. Plus, my classmates were from all over the world. Every day was a learning experience, getting to know different cultures and hearing different life stories.

Let’s talk about the location. Uluwatu, where the training took place, is not as touristy as other areas. It’s close to the beach, which is a favorite spot for surfers. And there are plenty of great restaurants and cafes around.

Lastly, the materials provided. They give you a textbook on-site, and there’s also an online learning platform. I found it really helpful, and the best part is, you have access to it for about a year. So you can go back and revisit it whenever you want.

All in all, my experience at Ulu yoga was incredible. If you’re looking for a unique yoga training with a variety of courses, amazing people, a great location, and helpful materials, then this is the place for you!

I was disappointed when we weren’t informed that we would lose a whole day of on-site training (due to day of silence) until we arrived. It made me question why we were still paying the same price. But I have to say, most of the teachers were absolutely amazing and they made the whole experience incredible. Not only did we learn a lot about teaching, but we also had some great moments of self-discovery. Oh, and learning acro was awesome too!

I loved the teacher training itself! It was a great experience.

Now, when it comes to walking in Uluwatu, it’s not the best place for pedestrians like me. There are barely any walkways, but you can still manage to walk to the beach. However, most people prefer taking taxis or scooters instead of walking.

Despite all the construction happening in Uluwatu, we were lucky to not hear any noise at the Shala. It was such a peaceful environment for doing yoga. The teachers were fantastic, with a lot of experience and great instructions for us students. They were always available to help and had so much knowledge to share.

I absolutely loved trying out aerial, SUP, and acroyoga. It was really fun to explore different styles of yoga.

The breakfast was delicious, and the long lunch break was a perfect opportunity to relax by the pool and prepare for teaching exams in the afternoon.

The ULUyoga team was incredibly helpful. Even before the training started, they organized everything with the hotel and provided us with reliable local taxi drivers’ numbers for airport pick-ups.

The online hours were well-structured, and the videos were of good quality. The best part is that we still have access to the videos even after the course.

If I had more vacation days, I would have loved to stay longer and do the 300-hour course right away. Hopefully, in the future, I’ll be able to come back to Bali and take another course with ULUyoga.

I really loved the location of the training and how the teachers made us all feel comfortable. They really knew how to create a welcoming environment. I’ve been practicing yoga for a few years now, but this training took my practice to a whole new level. I gained so much knowledge and really deepened my practice in ways I never thought possible.

During the training, I had some medical emergencies that had nothing to do with yoga or ulu yoga. However, the team at ulu yoga was incredibly supportive throughout the entire journey. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to complete the course on-site, but we easily found a solution and now I’m thoroughly enjoying the online course. The communication has always been clear and friendly, and the teachers teach with so much passion, making the classes interesting and interactive.

The space was always kept clean, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. I honestly have no complaints at all. I want to express my gratitude for everything and I’m already excited for my next YTT with ulu yoga!

Maybe the mat isn’t always that clean, so it’s probably better to bring my own. Oh, and the examination feels so long! Beginners might find it easier if it was just 60 minutes. But I absolutely love the whole vibe and environment of the class. Doing yoga in a bamboo shala with teachers from different backgrounds is so cool. Every day, I learn so much – physically and philosophically. But you know what I love the most? The interaction in class, like the sharing circle and all the fun activities. I absolutely loved every bit of it! Seriously, where do I even begin? The Ulu 21-day 200hr YTT in Uluwatu was absolutely amazing!

I decided to join to deepen my yoga practice and learn more about yogi philosophy. But let me tell you, I got so much more than I expected. It was truly a life-changing experience, and I had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people who will forever hold a special place in my heart.

There were so many highlights, but let me share a few of my favorites:

    1) The online content was fantastic! Being able to access classes online before, during, and after the 21-day part was so helpful. It gave me a solid foundation to build on, and I know I’ll refer back to some of those lessons in the future.

    2) I can’t express enough gratitude to all the teachers. They were just so amazing. They not only taught us yoga on the mat but also off the mat. Their support and energy were truly inspiring.

    3) The timetable was perfect. It struck a great balance between physical asana practice, classroom learning, and downtime for relaxation, self-study, and exploration.

    4) I loved the variety of yoga styles. We focused on vinyasa and Hatha with Ariel, but we also got to try acro and yin. I fell in love with all of them.

    5) The venue, Le Bamboo, was like a dream. It was a beautiful bohemian resort nestled on a hillside with breathtaking ocean views. The infinity pool was heaven, and the staff and food were fantastic. The shala was just perfect, offering lovely nature views. We even had the opportunity to try out the new Ulu shala, which was so spacious and tranquil. It was absolutely ideal for Ariel and acro yoga.

    6) The organization of the program was flawless. Eddie and his team did an incredible job. The communication before, during, and after the YTT was top-notch. They were so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process.

I can’t express how grateful I am for this experience. I honestly cannot recommend Ulu YTT enough. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I will cherish forever.

I think they should make the information about what to focus on for the online studies clearer and announce it when you receive your login. Also, some of the lessons were recorded from zoom and the quality was not great in some of them. But I really loved how the teachers were always open and available whenever I needed them. It was quite an emotional journey and I always felt safe with the teachers, group, and the surroundings. My favorite part was doing yoga in the Le Bamboo Shala with a view of the ocean, surrounded by lush green plants. I learned so many new things about yoga and myself! Every morning, I woke up excited to go to class. I really miss the everyday life they created for us and now I wish I had booked more weeks.

I had such an incredible time during my on-site Training in Uluwatu, Bali with ULU Yoga. I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful experience. I learned so much in just two weeks, not only about designing classes and teaching others, but also about myself and my own practice. I have so many amazing memories from the training, but my personal highlights were the spa excursion and getting to try out different yoga styles like acro, aerial, yin, and SUP yoga. Now, I feel confident and ready to teach vinyasa and hatha yoga classes and continue on my spiritual path. Thank you again for everything! Oh, and I absolutely adored the breakfast options. The smoothie bowls were my favorite! Also, I have to mention how great the new shala is with its stunning view of the sea. The 200h course was absolutely amazing for me personally. I formed incredible connections with the students. We really got to know each other on a deeper level and I felt safe having a strong support system around me, which is super important to me!

The teachers were so passionate and inspiring. Héloïse is such a beautiful soul. She really boosted my confidence during asana labs and exams. Manjeet’s philosophy classes made me feel like I had just attended a TedTalk ?. Minty helped me reconnect with my inner child and introduced me to activities outside of yoga like contact dance (highly recommend!). Natty’s morning flows significantly improved my mood in the mornings. And Jacqueline not only helped us perfect our poses every day but also had an amazing ability to sense our energies and moods and support us through whatever we were going through. Eddie guided us through the business side of yoga, and we really appreciated his expertise.

No matter your skill level, I highly recommend booking with Ulu. Trust me on this one 🙂

Sorry, but I wouldn’t book this teacher training again. It wasn’t my first YTT, but it was definitely the least “Yogi” one I’ve experienced. I felt like the owners were more interested in making money off the tourists on Koh Phangan than actually teaching us. We barely did any meditation, and they didn’t cover yoga philosophy, spirituality, or anatomy. They only had one Acro and SUB Yoga session. Though breakfast was included, it wasn’t enough to keep us nourished.

To make matters worse, the group was a mix of participants with different levels of knowledge. Some had just arrived while others had already completed their 200h or 300h training. This created a lot of frustration because we kept starting over with anatomy and philosophy lessons.

On the bright side, the teachers were really nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely attend one of their regular classes again.

I was happy all the time, nothing really bothered me. The changes in organization were a bit last minute, but it didn’t bother me at all. That’s just how life goes!

The last shala, Le Bamboo, was small and hot. But we were spoiled by the amazing shalas we had before. This teacher training was absolutely incredible. We had five different teachers, and each one of them was inspiring, wise, and generous. It was a true blessing to have learned from them as yoga teachers and as human beings. I’m so grateful to have met them and hear their stories.

Each week, we were in a different shala, which allowed us to explore different places. The teachers and organizers were always there to help and found solutions for any issues that came up. It was such a safe space for us to grow, explore, and remember who we are and why we’re here.

I came here wanting to escape the winter and learn more about yoga, but I found so much more. I gained a deep understanding, space to grow, support, and met wonderful souls who became teachers and friends. Thank you all for being here and for your love!

I recommend booking the accommodation privately.
A huge thank you to the entire ULU Yoga team.
The different yoga styles, some of which are very creative and innovative, combined with a small insight into the depths of yoga philosophy and spirituality, give you a whole new perspective.

It would be nice to have another day off with some free time activities using Organizer. The resort staff was too slow for the appointed breakfast, but they didn’t make any changes in the long run despite addressing the issue. It would have been great to have some extras like discounts in the restaurant, laundry services, or scooters (even though they were officially available, they weren’t practical). I enjoyed the variety of yoga styles, learning about the anatomy aspects, and the different teachers at the location. The teaching exercises and Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) were also enjoyable, as well as the other participants.

This course definitely focused on having fun rather than just becoming a certified yoga teacher. Some people might love that, while others may not. Personally, I would have appreciated more structure in the analytics classes, especially since some of us were inexperienced and needed help with alignment.

But, I absolutely loved the teachers and how caring they were. The venue itself wasn’t bad, but the noise from traffic at night really bothered me.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this course. It was one of the best times of my life! Heloise, our teacher, was amazing and the Shala we practiced in was beautiful. The whole team really took care of our group. We had exciting Areal and Acro classes, went to the beach to practice, and even tried out the SUP board.

The resort impressed me with its beauty, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The only area that could have been better was the breakfasts. They weren’t very filling, so I often ended up ordering a second dish. The quality and preparation of the food provided by the resort was not as good as what I could find elsewhere. The food I bought outside had more variety, larger portions, and seemed to be made with more attention to detail. Despite this, I don’t have any other complaints. Cody and Shashi, the hosts, are amazing individuals. They created a safe and nurturing environment for self-exploration and vulnerability throughout the three weeks I spent in Koh PhaNgan. I felt seen, heard, and loved the entire time. Their knowledge was both humbling and impactful, and it has influenced how I want to navigate life going forward. This experience was not only a personal journey but also a spiritual and energetic one shared with wonderful people. The course provided a secure space where I could freely express and release any emotions. Investing in myself during this time has been truly life-changing, and I’m incredibly grateful for it.

The booking process for my stay at the resort was really straightforward. Saghar, who I was speaking with on the phone, helped me with all of my questions about ferries, transportation, and other online queries. She was quick to respond and extremely helpful and friendly.

Before heading to Thailand, I did some online studies and found the videos to be very understandable. I really loved the philosophy and was able to grasp it easily just by watching the videos.

When I arrived in Thailand, the employees at the resort gave off such a friendly vibe that I immediately felt welcomed. The room was just okay, although I should have chosen the one with air conditioning since the weather was extremely hot and humid at that time. But, I managed to persevere.

The instructors at Ulu Yoga were amazing. Cody and Lena were both super nice and chill, and they made everyone feel welcome. The way they taught was perfect for both beginners and advanced yoga students. Cody’s explanations of the philosophy were fantastic! I could really connect with his explanations and relate them to my own life. Lena portrayed herself as a calm teacher with her soothing voice, which inspired me to want to become a great teacher like her as well.

Overall, Ulu Yoga has greatly changed me as a person and made me better than before. It took me a while to write this review because even now, when I think back to everything I experienced, I just want to go back there again. I miss the amazing vibe and I really miss the people.

Without a doubt, I will choose Ulu Yoga for my next yoga course. Thank you so much, Uluyoga. Sending lots of love ❤️

I also appreciate that they give us the chance to engage with other students throughout the course, like practicing teaching with them and getting familiar with the sequence before the actual teaching practice. The instructors also give constructive feedback regularly when we are practicing, letting us know what we do well, areas for improvement, and even providing suggestions on how to approach it better. It was a great all-around experience for me, and I truly enjoyed it. I’m so grateful!

Being in Canada, the time difference made it tricky for me to participate in in-person yoga classes on Zoom. Fortunately, they gave me access to recorded sessions, so I could still join in from the comfort of my own home, whenever it worked for me. Ulu Yoga has truly thought of everything in their program, covering everything from philosophy and anatomy to pranayamas, meditations, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin yoga, and even Asana analytics. Each teacher is incredibly knowledgeable and their guidance has been invaluable. The Ulu Yoga team is so friendly and supportive, they really make you feel like they’re cheering you on every step of the way. This course has not only helped me grow my yoga practice, but it has also given me a solid foundation for working towards becoming a yoga teacher myself. One of the things I love about this program is the flexibility to do it at my own pace, right from the comfort of my own home. I have particularly enjoyed Janaina’s yoga practice and her beautiful voice when she sings mantras. Cody has taught me some more challenging asanas and given me a deeper understanding of anatomy. Kehkashan’s classes really delve into the analysis of asanas, including different variations and the use of props. And both Manjeet and Dr. Kalpana have shared the roots of yoga, pranayama, and meditation, showing me so many amazing ways to connect with myself and find inner peace. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Ulu Yoga in my search for a 200-hour yoga teacher training.

But I really appreciated Cody Pizer’s knowledge as our course trainer. Even though I already had a background in Biology and previous Yoga Teacher Training, I learned a lot of new things. The topics were presented in a clear and easy-to-understand way, making it effortless to follow along with the instructor. I also liked how the course was structured, with a separation between basic anatomy and functional anatomy. I loved everything about my training with ULU Yoga, except for one thing – not being able to do it in person because of Covid 🙁 But despite my initial hesitation about doing a 300-hour training online, I decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did!

Right from the start, ULU Yoga impressed me with their warm and welcoming community. They offer weekly live lessons and teaching practices, which turned out to be the best part of the training. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on those!

The teachers at ULU Yoga are all pros and each brings their own unique personality to their teachings. It’s an incredible opportunity to learn from the best.

The training itself is well-organized and progresses in a logical way. You’re introduced to more in-depth knowledge step by step, and I never felt overwhelmed throughout the course.

One of the benefits of doing the training online is that you can go at your own pace. It also encourages you to be self-critical and helps you grow and see things from a different perspective.

I have to give a shoutout to the support team at ULU, who were always there for me with very short notice. They were a lifesaver!

Overall, I can’t recommend ULU Yoga’s training enough. Make sure to join the live lessons and teaching practice – they’re the absolute highlights of the course. And most importantly, enjoy the journey!

I’ve always dreamed of learning yoga with this school. Two of my friends took the course and loved it, and now thanks to online learning, I finally had the chance too. I had live classes every day with all the instructors, which was great. What I loved most was that I could record these classes and watch them again later. It was much better than just relying on my poor note-taking skills in a classroom. We even had private study groups with other students, so I was able to connect with and make friends from all over the world. This was something I was really worried about missing out on. The traditional yoga instruction was incredibly detailed and organized. Salomé, one of the instructors, is an amazing teacher and practitioner. The philosophy part of the course was also something I really enjoyed. The format was well-structured with assigned readings, questions, and follow-up discussions. I’ve been trying to study yoga philosophy for years, and now it’s finally clear to me. It was also a treat to see Bali in the videos. It’s now a huge motivation for me to travel there and take the course in person next year. Another thing I loved was practicing teaching with fellow course members on zoom. Since I was stuck at home, I even got the chance to teach my mother. I recorded myself teaching, and the instructors gave me some really helpful feedback. It was a great method because, at first, it was hard to watch myself, but it turned out to be the best way to learn. I now feel confident in my ability to teach and help others. I’m incredibly grateful and happy with everything.

I owe a lot of love and thanks to my teachers. The yoga class suited me perfectly because, as a beginner, they often paired me with two advanced students. This actually helped me learn much faster than I expected. I can see that the organization and guidelines for everything were meticulously planned and revised. It’s quite clear to me, considering my job as a building project manager, that every detail of this school is carefully thought out – from welcoming guests to grading tests and, of course, teaching different poses either individually or in groups. The schedule also strikes a perfect balance with breaks and activities like beach and spa outings. I was pleasantly surprised by how caring the staff was outside of class; they actually spent time with the students during meals and organized outings. This, of course, was part of the management’s plan to have a 24/7 hands-on group coordinator outside of teaching. It’s truly a wonderful idea that kept the group motivated and unified. I’m already looking forward to returning for the 300-hour course later this year. Thank you so much, truly, thank you!

This was definitely the best time of my life. We would start our day with yoga practice, philosophy or anatomy discussions, and meditation, from the moment we woke up till we went to sleep. I’m so grateful for all the helpful tips and words of encouragement. One of my favorite things was the tradition of observing silence until after breakfast, as it honored the sacredness of the morning. I also want to give a big shoutout to all the instructors for taking the time to really listen to us. They interviewed each of us personally upon arrival, asking about our health and background. It was such a refreshing experience to have someone genuinely care about my thoughts and feelings. At first, it felt strange because I didn’t know how to express myself, but as time went on, we had group meetings with all the students to share our feedback and experiences. Those moments were truly heartwarming, and I really miss them now. Not only has this experience healed my body from years of weakness, but it has also corrected so many errors in my practice that I wasn’t even aware of. You have all played a significant role in opening my mind to a whole new world, and I can’t even believe how much I have grown. I know it may sound cliché, but truly, this experience has been life-changing for me.

The instructors have imparted so much wisdom and knowledge that they feel like family to me now. They have inspired me to pursue my passion for teaching yoga and to continue to learn and share this beautiful practice with others. Surprisingly, my own yoga practice has improved immensely in such a short period of time.

Now, about the location, it exceeded all my expectations. I had the privilege of being within walking distance to not just one, but two beautiful beaches. And let me tell you, the little beach at the resort was absolutely perfect for some private suntanning sessions (wink). Haad Yao Beach was impressive, with its vastness and numerous cool cafes and massage parlors that were surprisingly affordable. On the other hand, Secret Beach was a haven of peace and tranquility. It may have had just two restaurants, but both of them were excellent and created a cozy atmosphere.

As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. Each day brought a different, delicious, and healthy meal. The school even took us to some local vegan restaurants in the village, and the food there was mind-blowing. I can’t wait to come back someday and continue my journey.

Once again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I happily booked the deluxe room situated on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. Listening to the soothing sound of the sea all night was a truly relaxing experience. The balcony of my room even had a comfy hammock swing, which became my favorite spot to unwind.

Each morning, I would treat myself to delicious gluten-free pancakes and cappuccino. I was amazed by the quality, especially coming from Thailand. The rest of the breakfast was pretty good too, with a variety of options like muesli, toast, eggs, salad, seeds, and fruits. However, I gladly paid extra for the gluten-free pancakes and cappuccino.

What made breakfast even better was that we all ate together, creating a high school-like atmosphere. It was energizing, especially after our yoga sessions. It exceeded all my expectations and has been the best time ever. It completely changed my life, values, and friendships. I know I won’t be the same person when I go back home. I’ll have to cut off many negative relationships. I want to express my sincere thanks to my spiritual guide, Shashi, for helping me find my own path. I also want to thank Victoria for her infectious laughter and positive vibes. And a special shout-out to Alon for his amazing knowledge of traditional yoga and self-respect. Lastly, Edward, thank you for sharing the gift of flying with us. The variety of classes offered allowed us to make adjustments based on how the group was feeling. At first, I felt a bit shy about expressing my opinion, but the instructors were genuinely welcoming and open to any suggestions. There are two yoga spaces here – one with an ocean view and the other by the pool, which was great because it had mirrors. I was even allowed to take a mat and some blocks to practice on my balcony, how cool is that? Sometimes it was so hot that I was sweating like in a Bikram class, but the studio had big fans blasting the entire time. After releasing so many toxins, I started sweating much less. Overall, the level of instruction was deep and varied, and the location itself felt like heaven.

The staff responded quickly to my email and sent me study material before I arrived, which made me feel like I already knew the instructors and the basics of breathing and foundational poses. It was really cool because all the other students had done the same thing, so we instantly had something in common to discuss and share our personal development. I was worried that the training wouldn’t be serious because there are so many styles, but the schedule struck a perfect balance between fun and serious study. If someone wasn’t seriously interested in teaching and wanted to skip certain things, they could choose to do sup or beach yoga instead. However, even these classes were incorporated into a structured methodology. I was pleasantly surprised by how organized the sup classes were, and I absolutely loved the aerial yoga. This course offered the perfect escape in a beautiful natural environment, along with valuable learning experiences – exactly what I needed. The instructors were kind and encouraged me to take breaks when necessary. In the afternoon, the resort treated us to free coconuts and a unique electrolyte mix, which was odd but truly refreshing. The breakfast was decent, but the lunch was exceptional. I indulged in various traditional Thai dishes like pad Thai and green curry from the regular menu. I attempted to eat at cheaper restaurants nearby, but their quality didn’t measure up to the resort’s. So, two other students and I decided to join a cooking class there, which turned out to be loads of fun. Each day, we had a variety of classes available, from gentle yoga to more intense subjects like philosophy and anatomy. The instructors took their time explaining everything in great detail and were thorough in answering all of our questions. I genuinely enjoyed the company of my fellow students, as well as the teachers and staff. It felt like a close-knit yoga family village that will always hold a special place in my heart.

Throughout the week, we had group sharing circles to openly express our feelings. The instructors were extremely receptive and accommodating, considering any suggestions we made. I was initially concerned about trying Ariel acro and other yoga styles, as I had only practiced regular half and Vinyasa yoga before. However, I can confidently say that the regular yoga classes were the best I have ever experienced. While I may have little to compare them to, the other styles were also excellent. Additionally, there was a great emphasis on group work, which encouraged us to develop self-sufficiency and care for one another’s growth and development. I am truly grateful to my fellow students and instructors for sharing their deep knowledge and love. If you’re seeking a relaxing holiday in paradise while also aspiring to receive high-level yoga training, this is the perfect place for you.

I was feeling exhausted with the heat the first few days because I hadn’t been drinking enough water. Luckily, the teachers were really caring and they gave everyone a free coconut. It didn’t take long for us to adjust and get back to full power. I’ll never forget this amazing experience.

I mainly came for the philosophy lectures, but I ended up enjoying the extra sup yoga sessions the most. If you’re able to, I highly recommend upgrading to a deluxe sea view room. It was absolutely incredible. The teachers are so knowledgeable and skilled, and they care about both beginners and experienced students. The yoga classes offered a good variety for all levels.

There were also plenty of opportunities to go deeper into the practice or to take child’s pose if needed. The other students were fantastic, and I made friends from different countries. We almost always went out for dinner together, exploring new places in town and on the beach.

The hilby roads make riding a motorbike challenging here. Just remember to wear a helmet, go slow, and enjoy the views while keeping your eyes on the road! I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of Thailand and the quality of the course. The accommodation was surrounded by green gardens with ocean views. I found the teachers and staff to be very friendly. Each day, breakfast offered a different and healthy option. I highly recommend waking up early to catch the breathtaking sunrise. In the evening, we would all jump in the sea and practice some acro yoga on the beach. Balancing with sup yoga was difficult, but the instructors were very attentive and supportive. We would often visit another beach in our free time, and the views just driving around the hilby roads were incredible. I learned to love waking up at 6 AM to do yoga in the beautiful shala overlooking the sea. At night, I could hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze in my bed. I couldn’t resist taking numerous pictures of the unbelievable and gorgeous sunsets that looked like paintings. The location is conveniently close to many restaurants and shops where you can find souvenirs, snacks, and even coconuts. There is also a 7-Eleven and a pharmacy nearby for additional snacks and cosmetics. I absolutely loved exploring the crazy food market and trying all kinds of strange and delicious new things.

I loved staying in Australia after the course ended! I could’ve extended my stay for much longer. Eddie and Sashi were amazing teachers who genuinely cared about their students. They taught in a way that was easy to understand and went out of their way to support us. I learned so much from them, and I’ll definitely incorporate it into my daily life.
The island itself is a dream for yogis. There are so many incredible activities and friendly people to connect with everywhere you go. The food is absolutely delicious, and the retreat location is breathtaking. It’s right by the ocean, affordable, and incredibly peaceful. I can’t recommend this course enough!

The weather was really hot and there was just too much information to absorb in such a short amount of time. I mainly joined for fun, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. I learned so much and the location was absolutely beautiful. The teachers were great too. I definitely recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience, but it was challenging to get there if you didn’t plan well. I was hesitant to join because I’m not a thin girl with yoga experience. However, every class had easy options for me and more advanced techniques for others. What I liked the most was their attention to detail and safety. They always showed us the possible risks, mistakes, and benefits of different yoga poses, including aerial and sup techniques, rather than just teaching us how to do them. This made me believe that we were receiving better instruction than what is typically offered in other courses. I later found out that they offer about a million courses a year, so they definitely know what they’re doing. Some of the other students had already completed 200 trainings and they said this course was far superior, regretting their decision to waste money on cheap training in India.

Even though I don’t plan to become a yoga teacher, I now feel confident in instructing my friends and family effectively. The island, resort, and shala were all incredibly beautiful. However, I found the resort staff to be annoying, so I decided to switch to the neighboring hotel. Surprisingly, the rooms there were much nicer and offered for the same price. I highly recommend staying at either High Life Resort or Haad Son Resort at Secret Beach instead.

Waking up early is such a struggle! The location here is gorgeous, but boy, is it scorching hot. The classes have all been amazing, although I initially found philosophy to be quite challenging. There’s just so much information to wrap my head around. Stand up paddleboarding was tough, especially with those unpredictable waves. But I’m really enjoying the advanced vinyasa flow. And let me tell you, the other students are absolutely awesome. I’ve made some incredibly special connections with them. Oh, and we can’t forget about all the awesome parties happening here on Koh Phangan!

The deluxe room bathrooms are quite basic, but you guys are amazing. Thank you so much for taking great care of us. The school accommodated us and organized everything superbly, considering our different levels and interests in acro, sup, aerial, and regular yoga. The philosophy lectures were mind-blowing. They really made me deeply reflect on what I’m doing with my life and career. My job is fun, and people enjoy themselves, but I suppose it’s rather shallow when considering the bigger picture. I was impressed by how they incorporated the philosophy of mindfulness even while we were playing on the beach. Now, I have a newfound outlook and appreciation for all the blessings in life. A special shoutout to the coordinator for being patient and flexible with all our requests, and to the instructors for providing personal attention to each one of us.

The yoga and sports program offered a wonderful and unique experience for people interested in these activities. Even those without prior yoga experience felt confident and gained new skills by the end of the program. I personally enjoyed the wide range of options available. The program offered exciting challenges for athletic individuals and provided helpful steps for beginners to progress to advanced poses. Ria’s restorative and sup yoga sessions added a great balance. Additionally, there were fun acro and aerial activities on the beach, perfect for capturing awesome Instagram pictures. Surprisingly, I found the normal yoga sessions very enjoyable as well, thanks to the instructors’ detailed instructions on proper alignment. Shashi’s philosophy was deep and intense, yet easy to comprehend. The shala, surrounded by birds and trees, was incredibly beautiful. However, the dining area could use some improvements. Some people thought the resort staff displayed a bit of rudeness, but I appreciated their honest and genuine Thai style. It felt like real people expressing their true feelings. What I loved the most was swimming with all my new friends at sunset. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

I’m so excited to come back next year! The instructors really impressed me with their great technical knowledge, helping us out. The best part was definitely the SUP Yoga. It gave us a good challenge, but it wasn’t too hard for anyone. The location is absolutely stunning. The food was amazing, although the restaurant could use some decoration. All in all, I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to everyone.

This experience awakened and transformed me, my friend! I joined because I thought it’d be fun, especially trying out Acro Yoga and SUP Yoga. But let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away by how deep the philosophy of this course was. It really opened up my mind to see my true self. And you know what’s even more amazing? The restorative aerial yoga actually cured the back pain I’ve had since I was 14! Can you believe it? Koh Phangan island is simply stunning, I mean, the waters there are like something out of a magical dream with their turquoise color. And you won’t believe the view from the yoga shala – it looks out into the beautiful blue sea! Thanks a million to my beloved teachers, without them, none of this would have been possible. I wholeheartedly recommend this course, my friend.
