Anyone can join this course, whether you’re a yoga teacher or just a Yin yoga enthusiast! You can become a Yin Yoga Teacher by participating in this online course. Just follow the recorded classes and schedule live support classes whenever it works for you.
Who is this training for? This training is for anyone who wants to learn about Yin and/or develop a deeper understanding of the Yin yoga practice. It is also suitable for those who want to become Yin yoga teachers.
What certifications will I receive? The course/hours count as Continuing Education hours for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) only.
How does the training work? The self-paced training is structured as follows:
– The 100 hours course is led by Simona.
– There are 80 hours of recorded classes.
– There are 20 hours of live online support classes.
– You will also have access to an additional 18 hours of free Yin yoga classes.
How long is the training? The training is 100 hours in total. You will receive PDF Yin yoga theory and 25 hours of recorded theory classes. Additionally, you will receive 24 recorded Yin yoga videos that explain each pose, different variations, benefits, and contraindications. There will also be 30 recorded Yin yoga classes for you to practice along with. You will have the opportunity to join 20 hours of live online support classes, where you can learn more about Yin theory, practice, and ask any questions you have. Throughout the training, you will be required to submit quizzes for each theory class and videos of yourself teaching and practicing.
Are live sessions mandatory? There will be 10 live sessions, each lasting 2 hours. These sessions are not mandatory, and if you are unable to attend, videos will be sent to you. The videos will be sent after the upcoming training starting on Monday.
What are the timings of the live sessions? The timings will be arranged according to suitable time zones and will take place every Saturday.
What will I learn in the training? The curriculum includes:
– The principles of Yin yoga
– Yin philosophy
– Yin practice
– Yoga Nidra (yogic relaxation)
– Benefits: physical, energetic, mental
– The difference between Yin and Yang
– Common Yin asana alignment
– Mindfulness practices
– Pranayamas that enhance Yin
– Observation skills
– Yin teaching skills
– Yin anatomy
This teacher training takes place online. Marga Yoga, based in Thailand (GMT+7), will be live-streaming yoga classes via Zoom. You can easily join and participate in these classes from the comfort of your own home.
You can take our 100-hour Yin yoga teacher training online course. We will provide you with a certificate of completion once you finish the course. Additionally, you will also receive 18 hours of additional free Yin yoga classes.
