The rooms we stayed in were great, but the neighbors could get pretty noisy since sound travels easily in this beautiful location. The atmosphere was very social and the food was outstanding, with a good variety of classes available for everyone to enjoy. We really enjoyed the steam room and cold plunge. To explore the island, we decided to rent a scooter from the resort. The check-in and checkout process was smooth, and they also provided seamless pickup and drop-off to the ferry terminal. There were guests from many different nationalities, including singles, couples, and groups. The resort was always kept clean and they made sure to send lots of water to our rooms.

The classes were packed, which wasn’t pleasant at all. You end up bumping elbows with your neighbors in every pose because it’s so crowded. I decided to skip some classes and have some alone time to relax and have a better experience. And let me tell you about one of the teachers, Nadja. She had a terrible attitude, never said hi, and got defensive when asked questions. She kept talking about another retreat that she thought was better and recommended we all go there instead. It was pretty weird, considering we all paid to be at this retreat. And to top it off, she’d be outside smoking cigarettes all the time – not a good look, in my opinion. But I did like the location and the food. The facility was nice, aside from the overpowering smell of feces all around the houses. It made it hard to fully enjoy the peace and tranquility.

The amazing location makes you feel like you’re at the edge of the world. However, it can be challenging at times because the nearest village is quite far away and you’ll need to take a taxi (unless you have a scooter). Taxis can be pricey, as is the case on all Thai islands.

I would suggest booking a private accommodation instead of a dorm. The dorms tend to be crowded with 5-6 people sharing a small space, and the main area is always bustling. If you value privacy, a private room is definitely the way to go.

Wonderland may just be one of the best retreats ever! Nestled in the middle of a lush forest, it offers high-quality facilities that are always clean and very comfortable, including a fantastic pool, sauna, and spa. The food is a highlight, with the most delicious vegan options imaginable.

The instructors are top-notch, providing various levels and styles of yoga and meditation. The place truly lives up to its name as a Wonderland and a healing space for those in search of peace, connection, and balance.

Not to mention, they offer a bunch of other classes that we really enjoyed, like Women’s Circle and Tibetan Singing Bowl Healing.

If you stay longer than a week, some workshops might repeat a bit. It would be awesome to see some tiny changes in the schedule or add something slightly different. But you can always do the things you really enjoyed again, or just relax and skip a few. I originally planned to stay at Wonderland for 7 days, but ended up extending my stay by 4 more days. It’s such a magical place, where you can attend up to 6 workshops a day, enjoy the pool and sauna, and meet some truly amazing people. The instructors are all fantastic, and some of them are truly inspiring. I booked a private room, which was fantastic. They clean it daily and make sure you have enough water every day. The food is absolutely delicious, I even had one of the best falafel ever! I wish I could have stayed even longer, but I will definitely be back.

During my stay, the resort filled up quickly. The yoga classes became packed, making it hard to move without being cautious not to bump into someone. We even ran out of mats and pillows a few times. Despite that, people continue to return because my stay was fantastic! I never felt lost as a beginner in yoga thanks to the teachers providing variations for all poses. My week there was just perfect.

I enjoyed the variety of classes offered throughout the day like yoga, meditation, and lectures. The dorm I stayed in was spotless, and the food was delicious. I always looked forward to dinner each night. There were plenty of spaces to socialize or relax alone. And I appreciated the water refill stations which eliminated the need for plastic bottles.

It’s so busy and crowded here, like a resort with classes instead of a retreat. The atmosphere is clicky and not as friendly as most retreats. You won’t get much feedback or guidance to improve your yoga here, but the classes are still enjoyable. The teachers and western staff could be warmer and friendlier. The food is great and there are plenty of classes throughout the day. The whole place is just stunning!

I had an issue with the general quality of yoga classes at Wonderland. Out of the 14 classes I took, only 3 were taught by top notch instructors. Most instructors would show people how to do a pose, but not explain how to do it properly. There were hardly any cues about anatomy or breathing, which made it hard to stay focused. I wished the instructors paid more attention to the students, instead of just demonstrating the poses and holding them the whole time. As a certified yoga instructor, I felt the classes lacked engagement and energy. The only time I got an assist was when a teacher touched me without asking.

I think some reviews labeled the classes as beginner style, but beginners actually need more guidance to get the poses right. I wish Wonderland had higher standards for class quality and had instructors like Amber or Raj teach more often. Ewa’s Reiki session was amazing and the food was great. Raj’s Kundalini and Amber’s Flow classes were fantastic. I also enjoyed David’s Hatha stretch and Nadja’s meditation. All the specials were a must-try for me. Overall, I had a wonderful spiritual experience at the retreat. The staff was awesome and the sauna was a nice touch.

I really liked the retreat overall and would definitely do it again. The meditations and specials alone made it worth it. Only thing I missed was the pool!

You could really go anywhere on foot. It would’ve been a bit of a stretch, but you could do it. I wish the retreat would offer a shuttle to the town and back at least once a day if people need to do some shopping or such.

One instructor taught the healing class really well, and I think she is more suited to be a mindfulness coach than a yoga/pilates instructor. Unfortunately, I was disappointed because there was no harmony in the class and the pilates flow sequence was completely off. For example, we started with pilates 100s before anything else, and not a single mention of breath was made.

On top of that, both me and another girl in my dorm got food poisoning from dinner. It was a real bummer, but it seemed like only the two of us were affected. Despite that, the place itself is lovely and perfect for relaxing. The staff is friendly and you get to meet a lot of new people.

None of the three instructors I wanted to review are actually listed. Two of them gave a great class with a well-thought-out structure. I appreciated the challenge in the flow, but overall it felt like Yoga for beginners.

Just an observation, but I noticed that most of the attendees were very young at the yoga retreat. I didn’t feel particularly welcomed, which is uncommon for a yoga retreat. The staff and instructors were fantastic, though. I wonder how it would have been for an absolute beginner, since most classes were at an intermediate level or higher. If you’re new to yoga, this might not be the best place for you. There are plenty of classes and activities offered each day, which you can choose to participate in or not. The facilities are well-maintained in a beautiful setting with a variety of classes available. The room was really nice too. Overall, it’s a special place that is worth checking out.

I noticed some things missing in the dorm: there weren’t plugs or reading lights for each bed, and the metal bunk beds were really noisy. If you shifted around, you risked waking up the person below you. But everything else was great! The classes were fantastic, with a schedule that included a morning meditation and two morning yoga classes. In the afternoon, there was another meditation class and yoga class. You could plan your days however you wanted. There was a break between 11:30 and 15:00 with no classes, so you could relax by the pool, in the hammam, or go for a scooter/bike ride. Meals were served from 9-13:00 and 18:00-20:00. You could order a smoothie or eat at a nearby restaurant in between. The vegan food was delicious, the hammam was incredible, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My stay was amazing and I highly recommend it.

The meditation sessions take some getting used to if you’re used to meditating for a maximum of 25 minutes in everyday life. They can be quite long at the retreat, so it’s a challenge not to fall asleep each time. Unfortunately, I was sick for the first two days, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to heal. They were considerate of me and I was able to move into a private room at short notice. I don’t think I’ve ever recovered from an illness so quickly. The food was simply delicious and always fresh!! The yoga sessions were wonderful, I could really let go. However, I could only attend 2 classes due to my illness. There is definitely a huge variety of yoga classes and I’m sure there is something for everyone:)
The place itself is simply magical. So many great people come together there and you feel comfortable right from the first moment!

The resort is not located by the beach, and it costs about 150-200 per person to go to the beach by taxi. (But they do offer free beach trips once a week or so.) That’s the only thing I didn’t like! I seriously can’t think of anything else negative. I absolutely adored it there!!

The atmosphere is healing, relaxed, and loving, making it super easy to unwind and destress. Everyone – from the reception staff, restaurant workers, cleaners, masseuses, teachers, and other guests – was extremely friendly. I met so many amazing people during my stay and kept in touch with them even after leaving. I stayed in a four-person dorm, and everyone was respectful. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and the food was incredibly delicious!!

I really enjoyed the variety of workshops available, in addition to yoga and meditation classes. There were also options for beach trips and guided hikes to waterfalls. I had initially planned to stay for a week but would have happily extended my stay for much longer!

At first, I thought I must have dropped it somewhere, but when three other guests told me they were experiencing the same thing, I felt unsafe. I reported it to reception, and they said they would inform the boss. I wanted to recommend this place to friends, but I don’t think it’s safe. – The shower isn’t hot.
    – Can we extend lunch time?
    – I saw flies and ants on the salad area where the fan wasn’t placed, so I skipped it.
    – I never got a welcome drink.
    – Let’s meditate.
    – Want to go for a waterfall walk?

Most yoga classes focus heavily on pure asana or fitness, even if they are supposed to be Level 1. I just prefer other types of yoga. Unfortunately, while I was in Wonderland, they didn’t offer Sound healing, Wim Hof, or Mantra Chanting workshops, which I would have loved to attend. Make sure to check the schedule before coming here! Wonderland is a beautiful place to be!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and now feel purified, relaxed, and connected to my inner peace. I really liked starting my day with Yaron’s daily Vipassana Meditations. It’s the best way to kick off your day. I also loved Raj’s Kundalini Hatha classes. He has such deep knowledge and wisdom. The Yin Yoga and Aromaterapia workshop with Liz was fantastic. The women’s circle with Amor was lovely, and Stephanie’s classes were also very good.

The food at Wonderland is absolutely delicious ❤️ Enjoy your time in paradise!

I felt very comfortable in Wonderland. The people were very nice, the food is excellent. It was also clean and the yoga classes were great. Personally, Yin Yoga wasn’t a big challenge for me, but the classes are suitable for beginners. I extended my stay because I felt comfortable, and it was no problem at all – the staff are very nice. The location is a bit hard to reach, but if you have a scooter it’s easier, or you can order a taxi from the hotel.

We spent four days there… and on the last night, we came down with the worst stomach virus. We couldn’t move… and for three days, we suffered from fever, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. It felt like a waste of money and our health…

We feel cheated that we paid to get sick instead of feeling better after leaving. It’s tough to leave a bad review, but after feeling so terrible, I have to share our experience with others. The yoga classes were nice and the teachers were good.

I arrived in October for an eight day retreat and was immediately struck by the beauty of the area. The lush, green surroundings were so inviting, and the facilities were top-notch. The yoga teachers were incredibly experienced, but the real magic of the place was the sense of togetherness you felt.

At the buffet restaurant, long tables encouraged interaction, and I found myself meeting like-minded people from all over the world. Our conversations quickly became deep and meaningful, and before I knew it, I felt like I belonged.

When I left, I was filled with gratitude for the new connections I had made and was determined to carry the feeling of Wonderland back home with me. I wanted to find a way to incorporate the sense of togetherness into my daily life and keep the benefits of the retreat alive.

I spent 7 nights in the dorm room at Wonderland. It wasn’t the best dorm I’ve stayed in, but hey, you’re there to sleep anyway. During the day, you’ve got tons of classes to choose from like different kinds of yoga and meditation styles, lectures, and activities like hiking to a waterfall or taking a sunset tour. The best part is, you get to decide what you want to join. If you just want to chill, head to the pool, sauna, or get a massage.

The food is incredible! I’m usually a vegetarian and they had a vegan buffet that was heavenly 😉 Everything was so tasty.

I overheard some people saying they plan to come back every year now. And honestly, I totally get it.

Nothing Wonderland in the jungle of Ko Pha Ngan is an amazing little oasis. The staff cleans and services the rooms daily, providing shampoo and bath gel. The vegan buffet is delicious, offering a variety of international dishes to try. Laundry service is both affordable and dependable. Throughout the day, they offer different types of meditations and yoga classes, as well as talks, movies, and fire nights. You can also enjoy a sauna, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, and various lounging areas. They even offer complimentary trips to hike in the jungle and visit the beach during the week. You can also experience multiple holistic treatment modalities, including Thai Massage. This place is truly a wonderland – I highly recommend a visit.

The evening programs at Wonderland were a mix of different things, but they felt a bit disorganized. The schedules were there, and they were easy to follow, but some of the topics for the evenings were kind of unclear. Some of the instructors would introduce themselves and talk about their experiences, while others would just start talking without much of a formal introduction. I was interested in joining some of the sessions, but without more info, I probably wouldn’t have gone in case it wasn’t my thing and it would be awkward to leave.

Wonderland was a really nice place to stay if you wanted to relax, heal, and connect with others. Some days they had structured classes, but on other days, you could just chill by the pool, get a massage, or hang out in different areas around the resort. I met a few people who had been to Wonderland before and came back because they liked it so much. I stayed at the resort the whole time and didn’t feel the need to leave since the food and social vibe were so good. The meals were amazing, with lots of variety and freshness that really made me appreciate eating in a new way. It’s something that stuck with me even after leaving Wonderland.

I loved everything! Everything at wonderland was fantastic! I don’t even know where to start! The whole experience completely blew me away. I had planned to stay for 3 nights but ended up staying for 6 nights. The food was incredibly delicious, the place had a lot of nice chill areas, the pool was fantastic, and the rooms and bathrooms were really nice (I stayed in a dorm). Since I’m traveling alone, I really wanted to meet people and it was so easy to chat with everyone. Everyone, including the staff, was so nice. The yoga and meditation teachers were amazing, and the schedule was great. You don’t have to attend every class, which is nice, and there are also fun outings like hikes to waterfalls, flower crown making, and watching the sunset at the beach. I particularly enjoyed the evening talks. For anyone considering a yoga retreat, definitely check out wonderland! It’s absolutely incredible, and you won’t want to leave, trust me!

I suggest the team provide more details on activities like hikes and sunset tours so people know what to expect. I tried both and they were amazing, but not exactly what you’d think from the name. It’s a truly magical place. In the 4 days I spent there, I relaxed and restored more than I would at a typical beach resort.

The schedule is full of activities, so everyone can choose what they like. There are so many options that even being stuck there for days in the rain didn’t feel like torture.

Unfortunately, the welcome disappointed us. We didn’t get any information about how things work, no welcome drink, and no yoga consultation as promised when we booked. A quick chat about classes and injuries would have been helpful. The daily smoothie listed in the booking had to be renegotiated each day, which was awkward.

Aly and Lauren were fantastic instructors, with warm welcomes and Lauren was great at adapting postures and giving feedback. However, other teachers gave unfriendly welcomes and the atmosphere felt cold and egotistical.

There wasn’t enough room in some classes and the site shouldn’t be overbooked. The cancellation of a hike due to weather wasn’t communicated well.

Wonderland is a great place to feel safe and meet people who share your interests. However, it felt like it was mostly Westerners and I missed having Thai food options. The center is only a 20-minute ride from the coast, but instead of being on a cute mountain, the grounds are flat. It’s a good idea to have a scooter to move around. Wonderland has a fantastic daily schedule of classes and specials that will keep you busy and introduce you to different meditation and yoga practices. The yoga teachers were mostly excellent and the food was delicious. There are also a variety of treatments available, though they can be a bit pricey.

The only low point of my experience at Wonderland was getting COVID. My Day 1 roommate had tested positive but was told to keep going to classes, act normal, and stay in our dorm room. She revealed her positive diagnosis on my Day 2 as she was checking out. She had been coughing, had a fever, and had tested positive the whole time. After spending the night in the dorm room with her, it wasn’t surprising when I tested positive for COVID 5 days later. Wonderland believes that everyone is constantly exposed to asymptomatic people, which is true, but I hadn’t caught COVID in 2 years until I stayed with my sick roommate without a mask. I isolated myself for 5 days to limit exposure to others, which is the right thing to do in my culture. It wasn’t the end of the world, but I wish I had been informed about my roommate’s situation and given the chance to move to a private room to avoid exposure to COVID. If you are anxious about getting COVID, booking an individual room at Wonderland might be a good idea.

I stayed at Wonderland for several weeks to focus on yoga, meditation, and personal challenges. I didn’t have many expectations but ended up learning a lot in 3 weeks. I tried a wide variety of classes every day and discovered new things in a short time. I enjoyed almost everything, and some meditation sessions led to new insights that I brought home with me. I also found it easy to connect with others staying at Wonderland and made many new friends. The instructors, facilitators, and staff were friendly and accommodating. I hope to come back again, maybe with my daughter this time to enjoy the great pool.

My boyfriend and I visited Wonderland for the first time in Koh Phangan, and we can’t stop telling everyone about it. The yoga classes, which are an hour and a half long and perfect for all levels, were so impressive. I’ve been doing yoga for years, but I noticed such a huge improvement in just one week. There are a variety of yoga teachers and styles to choose from, so if one doesn’t suit you, there are plenty of other options. They offer at least 3 yoga classes and over 3 meditation classes every day, surpassing our expectations. My boyfriend only joined me because I love yoga, but by the end of our week, he was doing handstands! The vegan buffet for brunch and dinner was delicious, filling, and healthy – a nice change from the usual Thai food. Thanks to the dorms and common eating areas, we made friends that we spent the rest of our time in Koh Phangan with. I can’t sing the praises of this place enough.

If you don’t have a bike, it might be tough to explore the island – you’d have to be okay with just sticking around the retreat (which isn’t a bad thing!). Wonderland offers a relaxing and inviting stay for both single travelers and groups. The schedule at Wonderland varies, providing options based on your interests. The meditation and yoga sessions are of great quality, and the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. This place is perfect for those who prefer to have activities to do rather than just lounging on sunbeds all day, although that is also an option at Wonderland.

Wonderland retreat is a great choice for beginners who have never been on a meditation or yoga retreat before, as it is not a holistic experience. The schedule is easy to follow, with morning classes starting at 8 am, unlike some other retreats that start as early as 5 or 6 am. The 6-bed dorms are okay but not luxurious. The beds wobble and squeak; there is only the main room light, so you easily disturb each other; there are no closets, so clothes are always in backpacks on the floor; bed curtains would be nice for some privacy, shelves by the bed would also be useful. In the first week, I almost didn’t care about all this because everything else was great, but unfortunately, it got very crowded in Wonderland in my second week. We squeezed over 40 people into the Shala, which definitely wasn’t fun anymore. If you were late, you couldn’t participate. The relaxed family gathering also got lost during meals. Lines, waiting, or even not getting any food. Drinks were empty late at night, no towels left, etc. Very sad, the first week was really fantastic… The quiet jungle location, beautifully landscaped, varied weekly program> good for trying out, family-like, casual togetherness, very mixed audience, the steam sauna, everything very well maintained and clean, the buffet is really great.

This place is perfect for people looking for a “cleaner” holiday or those just starting out in yoga.

Wonderland has a great vibe and energy overall. The teachers and staff are amazing and very friendly. The food is top quality. The yoga class level depends on the participants, so it mostly consisted of beginners. It wasn’t really ‘advanced’. Maybe they could add a class for intermediate yogis, that would be lovely! I loved Wonderland so much. The food was absolutely incredible. They had a vegan buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I am honestly speechless about the food. They also gave out a free shake or coconut every day, and they were amazing. The coffee was unlimited, with almond or coconut milk, and they even had a self-serve tea station. The camp itself is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The people there have such peaceful and positive energy. Overall, it was a great experience. I took a lot from the meditation classes. The classes they offer are top-notch too. I just can’t stop praising how much I loved it.

My time at Wonderland was more than transformative – it was life-changing. People from all walks of life visit Wonderland for various reasons, drawn to its welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere. This creates a safe space for deep healing to take place. I was able to release a lot of baggage and examine my own limiting beliefs. The food was amazing (a huge selling point for me!) and the sauna and cold plunge pool were highlights. The variety of classes, yoga styles, and meditation practices offered were impressive. I had such a great experience that I decided to extend my stay. Koh Phangan truly is a magical paradise. In fact, I enjoyed my time at Wonderland so much that I’ve made plans to return in three weeks for Yoga Teacher Training.

I didn’t really feel like dancing, so the evening activities didn’t catch my interest. I would have preferred a Yin Yoga class or more meditation at 8pm instead of something upbeat, but it seemed like others enjoyed it. I can’t praise this retreat enough – I was skeptical at first. I’ve been practicing yoga for a few years, but had never been on a retreat. After a work trip, I decided to give it a try and I’m so happy I did. From the moment I arrived (with a welcome drink while checking in), I felt right at home. Having meals with people from all over the world was a great experience, but I also enjoyed relaxing in a hammock with a book or writing in my journal by the pool between classes. Not every yoga style or instructor was my favorite, but it was fun to try new things like Aerial Yoga (my favorite) and Laughter Yoga (weird, but interesting). The location was perfect – secluded yet close to beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, and mountain views. The dorm rooms were cozy and the beds surprisingly soft. I highly recommend getting a Thai massage – I wish I had done it every day. I enjoyed every moment and it was fitting that it started raining as soon as I left. Getting to Koh Phangan can be a bit tricky with flights, ferries, and buses, but if I have the chance to go back, I definitely will. Great job, Wonderland team!

Les cours n’étaient vraiment pas à la hauteur de mes attentes. C’était principalement des cours très basiques et je suis déçue de ne pas avoir pu progresser dans ma pratique.

I couldn’t control myself around the buffet – I ate so much the whole time I was there. Those pancakes still haunt my dreams. The people working and staying there were so nice. You have a lot of freedom – you don’t have to go to all the classes or socialize if you don’t want to. You can just relax with a book in a hammock or by the pool. But if you’re looking to meet people from all over the world going through life transitions, like quitting their jobs or starting a new nomad lifestyle, this is the place to be.

It’s a little annoying to have to go from Ko Samui airport to your island by taking a transfer and ferry. But don’t worry, the center has a really nice atmosphere and it’s super relaxing.

They need to update the list of instructors because I really loved Selina’s Yin Yoga and Chakra Yoga classes. And the instructor who did Kundalini yoga on Wednesday, December 4th, was great too.

All the yoga instructors are really skilled and we learned a lot from them. We always feel amazing benefits after each session. The only downside is that some of the classes can get pretty crowded.

I have just two constructive criticisms. First, I think the yoga equipment should be washed and cleaned daily because they all smelled quite bad. Second, the mattresses are so incredibly hard that sleeping on them was painful. A mattress topper would be helpful. Wonderland truly lives up to its name as a wonderland for any type of holiday style. Whether you’re looking to relax and unwind with a beautiful pool, sauna, massages, delicious vegan food, coconuts, tranquil surroundings, yin yoga, and meditation, or if you’re wanting to be more active with bicycles and scooters to explore the island’s beautiful beaches, this place has it all.

I highly recommend planning to stay for at least a week at Wonderland, as there is so much to try and experience. And if you end up falling in love with it (which is very likely!), you can always extend your stay there. It’s just that difficult to leave Wonderland.

For those seeking a deeper experience, there are ice bath pranayama classes that focus on breathing techniques, as well as The Inner Walk that offers a truly eye-opening and transformative experience. It’s a great way to understand mindfulness on a whole new level.

Overall, Wonderland has been an amazing experience for me. It has helped me gain a proper understanding of mindfulness and everyday living. Big thanks to Wonderland for all the memories and teachings.

Instructors all over the island sometimes have to switch schedules last minute or cancel classes, but that can happen anywhere. The construction due to recent rain storms was a bit disruptive, but it’s good to just roll with the punches. Wonderland is a great retreat where you can drop in for yoga, meditation, and other sessions any day. While you may not build consistent skills, you can try different instructors, styles, and meet new people.

I stayed in a private room with one other person, and it was perfect – comfortable beds, bathroom, and AC. Each room has a hammock on the porch or balcony, which we loved using. The rooms are clean and quiet, except on full moon nights when people are out celebrating a bit later.

The food was amazing! I was looking for vegan options and this place exceeded all my expectations. They also offer smoothies, coconuts, Reiki, and massage treatments for additional fees. The staff can help you with renting motor bikes, taxis, and tours.

The facilities are all lovely, though the pool and one set of bathrooms were closed due to storms when I arrived. They were quickly fixed and back up and running. If you’re planning a 4-day retreat, book for 8 days. And if you’re booking for 8 days, stay even longer – it’s totally worth it!

Yin and restorative yoga are fantastic here, but if you’re looking for power or vinyasa classes, this might not be the place for you. Only one class in our 5-day stay was level 2 or challenging. The rest were pretty mellow. I was disappointed to find that only two of the 10 classes I attended included hip openers, which are important for me. None of the teachers used a vinyasa sequence, where you move with each breath. They all knew their stuff, but they tended to pace things more slowly and rambled a bit. On the bright side, the facilities, staff, food, and schedule were top-notch. It’s a real treat to be on such a beautiful property. The teachers were knowledgeable and ran their classes with a serious tone.

Maybe they could offer more types of yoga classes and have classes that run later in the evening. I adored everything about this place. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say. The staff were incredibly friendly, my private room was absolutely amazing, and the facilities were outstanding. I’m already making plans to return in December.

Some yoga classes are very basic. I was expecting a few more classes above the level +1. The dorms are okay, but 6 persons is a bit too much especially if there’s only one shower. The food and people are amazing! I booked only for 3 nights and ended up extending for a few more. I love the meditation with Ali and the daily coconut water!

It’s not so bad here! There are lots of insects (it’s a jungle) and I saw two huge spiders in one girl’s bathroom. The location is in the middle of the island with no nice view. The common area stops playing music at 10pm and you can’t play cards. Also, there are no pool toys which is a bummer. Some of the yoga classes are slow and boring.

The dorm lockers are too small for backpacks, but those banana pancakes are to die for! The dorms are modern and really clean with two bathrooms. There are hammocks and lounge beds everywhere. The sauna and ice pool are amazing and the pool is always clean and the perfect temperature. There are plug sockets near each bed.

The common areas are cozy and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the instructors are super nice. The food is fresh and delicious with lots of variety. The classes are solid and diverse (improv contact was a blast). The detoxing experience was eye-opening.

You can easily rent a scooter at a cheap price from reception. It’s so peaceful and quiet here, you might lose track of time! I’ll definitely come back for those banana pancakes!

Maybe my room’s location in front of the pool is not ideal because many people walk by it. But truthfully, there’s so much to appreciate here – the atmosphere, food, music, teachers, freedom, courses, location, and prices. This place is a treasure, so let’s make sure it stays that way.

No one came for one lesson on Friday and there was no water in the basin near the sauna. You live in a bubble of peace and harmony where everything is in balance. You can choose whatever you want at your leisure and that’s great.

It would be nice to be by the sea, but you can’t have it all 😉 Otherwise, there are absolutely no complaints! I especially liked the attentive manner of one of the staff members. He approached me and addressed my issue. The accommodation was cheap, so it was very basic (but I already knew that.. shared room) The classes were doable for everyone, even beginners who were experiencing it for the first time. So, really good! The reviews about the food were not lying or exaggerating. EXCELLENT!! All in all, I can only recommend a stay 🙂

If you’re new to yoga retreats but know a bit about basic asana practice, or simply don’t want to follow a specific yoga system, then this retreat is ideal for you. You’ll have the option of taking three classes a day at different levels, led by amazing teachers. There are also two meditation sessions, interesting lectures, and evening activities to enjoy. With so much going on each day, you can stay for as long or as briefly as you’d like.

The vegan food served here is top-notch, with lots of tasty options and fresh ingredients. I seriously considered taking the chef home with me.

I didn’t find some of the evening workshops very exciting or appealing. I would have liked to see more variety or different types of yoga like Iyengar.

I booked this yoga retreat at Wonderland Healing Centre to get out of my headspace and rediscover my love for yoga. I wanted to give meditation another shot, as I always struggled with it. It took some courage to book my first retreat ever, but I’m so glad I chose Wonderland Healing Centre. It’s a great deal with delicious vegan meals three times a day. My private room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. I even got a free massage and had plenty of classes throughout the day to keep me busy. I also had time to relax in the sun or read a book. The restaurant area was the perfect spot to unwind or take a quick nap.

I had a blast with the yoga instructors, especially Naama in Wild Organic Yoga and Camilla in Yin Yoga. The SOMA breathing yoga workshop and Yoga Nidra classes were also highlights for me.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it for almost a week (originally planned for 3 nights).

I really didn’t like the beds in the dorms. They’re comfy but if you have an upper bunk, there’s no real ladder to climb up. But that’s just a small problem.

The atmosphere in this place is incredibly relaxed, quiet, and peaceful. You can choose from different classes all day long. It’s not just practicing yoga or other stuff – the teacher also explains a lot so you learn a lot as well.

I wish the sea were closer (it’s a 15-minute cab ride for 150/200 baht). It would’ve been nice if there was a free shuttle to the beach at a set time. More variety in meditation would be interesting too. The daily program can get repetitive if you stay longer, but it’s not a big deal if you’re not too experienced. The energy is great, and the place is wonderful surrounded by greenery. You can tell that attention to detail has been paid. I stayed in the dorm for 11 nights, and it was very clean with bed sheets and towels changed daily. The staff is sweet and helpful. The food is amazing. All the yoga teachers were nice, and it was good to experience different styles.

The sleeping situation was my only complaint at that hostel. In all the other hostels I stayed at in Thailand, the dorm beds had their own curtains for a little bit of privacy, and they were much more comfortable. It seemed ironic to me that so much focus was put on alignment and taking care of your body during the yoga and meditation work, only for us to sleep on the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever experienced. If they changed the beds in the dorms, it would be a practically perfect experience! Despite that, I got more than I expected out of this retreat. I met amazing people, both teachers and other participants, ate incredible food, and did great yoga. The retreat was very beginner-friendly, but there were also more advanced participants who seemed to enjoy themselves. There is a pool and a steam room at the retreat, and you can choose to attend all the classes or do your own thing. The energy there is amazing, and overall, I had a great time.

When I arrived, I had to pay the balance of my bill. What I didn’t know was that they add 4% if you pay with a card. So, just keep that in mind. The Yoga classes were pretty crowded, and sometimes the instructor talked a lot. The smell in my bathroom wasn’t great, but I had read about it on Trip Advisor so I was prepared and just accepted it. The room I stayed in was very spacious with a lovely view over the pool. They had a kettle and fridge in the room with free water. They also offer free pick up and drop off to the ferry, which is really convenient. The food was amazing, and you could help yourself to tea, coffee, and water anytime in the food area. There was plenty of free water available around the place, which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the variety of yoga classes and meditation options, there was something for everyone. The meditation with Ali and Jo was fantastic. The massages with “Apple” were amazing. Thank you, Apple. If you want to go out for the day, they can arrange a taxi for a fee to take you to the beach or Thong Sala. They also offer a 4-day walking meditation that Wonderland will take you to. We are left to our own devices a lot (which maybe some people prefer), although we can open up and discuss in some activities. It’s a very personal approach and it’s different for everyone… Also, I didn’t really enjoy Koh Phangan… The food is excellent. Great atmosphere and the scenery is amazing. Good pace of activities. The receptionists were very nice but lacked decision-making authority. They had to email the owners and wait for a response, even when they were right there. I found that very strange and closed off.

I didn’t like the mixed dormitories. I wanted to move to a different one for an extra charge, but it was unreasonably expensive. The yoga and meditation classes were good. The food was really delicious.

The facility is beautifully designed. I loved the sauna and steam room. The massage was also great.

This place exudes pure magic. The food is amazing, the schedule offers variety, and the teachers are top-notch (both for yoga and meditation). But it’s the people who really bring everything to life. The connections, the shared experiences, the communal meals – they all contribute to the incredible atmosphere. Trust me, do yourself a favor and book a room for as long as you can! Once you’re here, you’ll never want to leave.

I had an amazing 22-day experience at the resort! The beautiful surroundings and meeting people from all over the world made it feel truly special and magical. Every day, we shared unforgettable experiences in a simple and harmonious way. The community here offers top-notch yoga, meditation classes, detox programs, Reiki, vegan food, and a great selection of international music. I laughed, cried, spent hours in silence, relaxed by the pool, enjoyed the steam room, and deeply cultivated inner peace, self-love, forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, joy, and kindness. It was an incredible time!

I didn’t personally plan this program as I was promised. The yoga was for beginners and there were a lot of different styles. I ended up with one of the “not so good” rooms and was a little disappointed. It didn’t have a terrace, seating area, or the promised view. The room would have been fine for a shorter stay. So, if you’re looking to advance in yoga or find a “real” yoga school, this probably isn’t the place for you. But, if you want a resort to eat healthy and dip your toes into spirituality while relaxing, I would recommend this place. The food was great, the rooms were clean, most of the staff were friendly, and the surroundings and pool area were nice. It would be a great experience for someone with little or no yoga experience. The meditation classes were good and some of the yoga instructors seemed really experienced.

I found a criticism in that the level of yoga was a bit too intense for me, even when attempting Level 1. It was tough on my body due to my existing issues. I felt there should have been more focus on alternative poses for those with limitations. I also believe instructors should have inquired about any issues or pregnancies in the class.

It would have been helpful if someone explained how the retreat worked during check-in, especially since it was our first one. Despite this, my son and I thought the facilities, food, instructors, and accommodations were top-notch. (My son was especially worried about the food situation!)

We enjoyed every moment and our stay flew by, so we’re planning on returning at the end of the year. I highly recommend Wonderland Yoga Retreat to anyone looking for a comprehensive experience including yoga, philosophy, meditation, and lifestyle choices. It’s a great place to kickstart your transformation!

The hot water in the bathroom wasn’t working well. I started in a dorm room but it was too crowded for me, so I had to move to a private room. Here’s why:

1- There were too many girls in one room for the small space.
    2- The ventilation was poor.
3- The AC wasn’t working properly.
4- There wasn’t enough storage space for my belongings, so I had to put my stuff on the floor.
5- The beds were too high for upper-level guests and they were noisy, so every time I needed to go to the bathroom at night, I had to wake up my neighbor below.

I also didn’t like the stray dogs on the island, especially the ones that came into the property. However, I appreciated the friendliness of everyone and the family-like atmosphere. The property is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully designed. The owner pays attention to detail, which is great for solo travelers like me.

The rooms at the dorm were super clean and spacious, with two toilets for a 6-person room – perfect! But in my opinion, concrete Western-style houses are a bad fit for the tropical climate because they make energy consumption soar above acceptable levels. We had to use the air conditioner every night. Overall, everything was great. I was hoping for a more minimalist place, and Wonderland had more of a vacation vibe, but it was still really good. The yoga classes were challenging, but even beginners could participate.

I loved the fabulous vegan food, even though I’m not a vegetarian. The smoothies were also nice. Even though I wasn’t on detox, I felt my digestive system improved during my stay.

They had different levels of yoga classes every day. The instructors were encouraging and knowledgeable, and eager to answer any questions we had.

They occasionally arranged trips to beaches. I only joined them once, but the sunset there was breathtaking.

I really liked the restaurant area. People chilled out and made friends there, while also being able to enjoy some alone time. There was a special event every evening, which was a great way to interact with people in other ways than just chatting.

While I was at the center, major flooding caused many people to lose their personal items. The pool and other services were also affected. It was disappointing that no goodwill gestures or discounts were offered to those affected.

Unfortunately, the dorm was not as comfortable as expected. The lack of shelving and lights on the top bunks made it inconvenient for long stays. However, the food and restaurant area was the heart of wonderland for me – a great meeting hub with excellent food and coffee every day. The variety of yoga and meditation classes was also good.

Yoga classes are usually very busy and may not be the best fit for beginners or those with physical limitations. The classes don’t offer modifications for injuries or less able participants. As someone who has taught yoga for a while, I noticed that some of the instruction seemed more geared towards seasoned students and could be risky for beginners. On the plus side, there is a welcoming community vibe and the buffet style meals offer a nice variety, even accommodating food allergies. Overall, the classes are diverse and well-taught, though not ideal for newcomers.

There is too much coming and going of people. I would prefer to find fixed programs, for example, one can only come on Saturdays, so that one is only with a fixed group in the retreat and grows together more. I immediately felt the positive, loving energy of the Healing Center from the first minute. I felt totally comfortable right from the start and was overjoyed. I enjoyed my stay at Wonderland, but I have some constructive feedback to share.

    1. They should make it clear that this retreat is very hands-off in terms of facilitation. I was greeted at check-in and didn’t interact with any staff (except for questions) until I checked out.

    2. It was nice to have a variety of yoga instructors, but since none of them lived on site and there were so many, it was hard to connect with them. I was surprised by the number of instructors and never had the same one twice. However, I appreciated that they all had their own specialty classes.

    3. In most pictures of Wonderland, yoga is shown in a beautiful indoor space. I chose this retreat for that reason, but when I arrived, the indoor space was under renovation and classes were mostly outdoors. This information should have been on the website for guests to consider before booking.

    4. We found out we were paying high-season prices during low season in Thailand, which was not made clear. Prices should be public, and staff should be able to provide this information.

Overall, I loved my time at Wonderland! The facility is beautiful, set in the jungle with mountains and a stream. Facilities are new and well-maintained, even in the dorms. The food was amazing, as every review mentions. Some guests were there just for the food! Staff was friendly and helpful, and the steam room was a highlight. The WiFi was great for those who need to work. Overall, I felt very relaxed and will definitely recommend Wonderland to others.

What I most enjoyed was the variety of spiritual techniques and courses included in the package that you can practice all day long. The situation. The exhaust fumes were clearly noticeable, being quite close to the main road. The next beach is also quite far away; it’s an adventure to walk there. The so-called secret beach turned out to be pretty shallow and littered.

Point number 2. The loud music or constant noise in the restaurant. Maybe trendy young people today need that. However, the retreat character was missing. Each of the 6 teachers had their own unique style and helped me with their tips. I was most impressed by Alon. His physically focused, scientific style gave yoga the grounding depth it deserved. Plus, the food was extremely varied and healthy.

I was disappointed by the massage area. The mattress had seen better days and was only covered by a thin sheet. To top it off, there was another person right next to me and the two masseurs were chatting away in Thai, which I found rude. I think they should improve the privacy in the area, considering how personal massages can be. Despite all that, the peaceful setting did allow me to have some quiet time for reflection. And it was nice that I could still be around people if I wanted, without feeling torn between the two options.

I highly recommend the Wonderland stay to everyone – whether you’re looking for a full 7-hour yoga and meditation program (intense) or just relaxation by the pool. It’s suitable for all yoga levels from absolute beginner to advanced. The food is amazing with plenty at the buffet, and the ladies at the reception are super pleasant and helpful. Wonderland exudes love and positive energy, set in the local jungle with green trees, a little river, hammocks, and shalas to relax in. The pool is nice as well. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND it!

The people/guests are not what I expected – not a “hippie” place at all. I was at Wonderland for 30 days and everyone I met was friendly, pleasant, and educated. The location is a hidden gem a bit out of town, but a taxi ride to town (shops, night markets, secret beach, etc.) costs between $3-4 one way per person. Villas for 2 are beautiful, but there’s nothing wrong with the shared (dorm) accommodation – it’s clean, comfortable, and always has plenty of cold water in the fridge.

I also loved that you can refill your bottle with fresh cold water on every corner in Wonderland – pretty awesome! They provide everything you need for yoga – mats, blocks, belts, and cushions, same for meditation. I can 100% recommend it and I’ll definitely be going back soon.

The food exceeded my expectations, especially the variety! I liked the dorm rooms, but next time I would prefer a separate room. When you have an experience like that, privacy is key 🙂 I really appreciated them picking me up from my hostel instead of the port, and taking me to the currency exchange before dropping me off at the pier!

There is absolutely everything to like about this place. It was the most incredible place I have ever been to!

Three siblings, all of whom have attended yoga retreats all over the world, agree that this is by far the best and most affordable one. The food is top-notch, and they don’t sacrifice flavor even though it’s all vegan. The property is super clean, and the rooms are really comfy. But the best part is the family that owns it – they are so welcoming and sweet. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I didn’t care for the occasional screaming and running around of kids, or the noise from the kitchen in the meditation room. Luckily, those things didn’t happen too often! I really enjoyed how comfortable I felt traveling alone at this place. The food, yoga, and pilates classes were all excellent. The staff was polite, helpful, and spoke great English. And let’s not forget the amazing massages! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

The vegan buffets didn’t have the best ingredient – avocado. I loved the sound healing, inner dance, and yin yoga sessions with Melissa. The pool and herbal sauna were fantastic. The food was incredible! I found the dorm beds very comfortable. They keep the site well-maintained and everything is super clean. It’s a great value for money overall.

I did not receive the kind of experience I was expecting at Wonderland. The staff, atmosphere, and site itself let me down. The reception staff and instructors were not up to par. They seemed to act like they were superior to the guests. The instructors seemed to have formed a clique and were unwelcoming, even choosing to separate themselves during meals. The reception staff were unenthusiastic at best, and unhelpful at worst. Because of their attitudes, and the overall vibe, the Wonderland experience felt more like a party resort for 18-30 year olds rather than the tranquil retreat I thought it would be. The resort is in a beautiful jungle location, but parts of it resemble a construction site. On the bright side, the accommodation, facilities, and food were excellent.

Everything was awesome! This peaceful place, surrounded by palm trees in the middle of the island, is away from all reality. The people here are open-minded and the food is the best. The whole menu is plant-based and so yummy. I miss it already! If you’re a foodie and yogi like me, you definitely have to go there. I stayed in a dorm with more beds than expected, but it wasn’t a big deal. My time at Wonderland took me through a rollercoaster of emotions. I felt tired, overwhelmed, and unsure at times, but also calm, reflective, happy, and peaceful. It was all about getting to know myself better and figuring out what I really want in life. The staff, from the instructors to the reception, were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, I had to go to the hospital during my stay, but even there, the Wonderland staff took great care of me, visiting me at least twice a day. As soon as I left on the ferry, I already felt a longing to go back. I’m sure I’ll visit again soon.

The only thing that wasn’t ideal was that breakfast didn’t start until 8 AM, and that was the same time as the Yoga classes. The first class wraps up at 9:30, and the second starts at 10. So, if you were lucky (which rarely happened), you could quickly grab some food from the amazing breakfast buffet.

If you’re all about yoga classes (and not super into meditation or inner peace), this might not be the best spot for you. If you’re looking for a workout, you might want to look elsewhere. The vegan food was incredibly delicious and perfect for Europeans who aren’t used to spicy Thai cuisine.

The dorm room was good and pretty spacious, but be cautious when booking a 4-person luxury dorm. We thought we had booked that but ended up in a 6-person dorm. Most of the time, there were only 4 people in the room, but still.

The pool and hammock areas are gorgeous, and the oil massage I tried was excellent. The evening lectures and discussions were awesome, and we met some really cool people from all over the world who were so open-minded. The staff was also super friendly.

The breakfast and fruits could be more varied, it was the same every day. During my tour of the resort, they told me I had a massage included – but in the end, I had to pay 600 Baht for it. I also asked if they could take me to the beach instead of the pier for a one-time transfer, but they said it wasn’t possible. It was very inflexible and ended on a bad note. The resort is beautifully and peacefully located. The staff is very nice, except for one, but there’s always one. The food was always delicious. The teachers were very kind and attentive.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay! The only thing to be aware of is that breakfast starts at 8am, which is when the first yoga class begins. So, if you do the 8am yoga class, you’ll have to wait until after (9:30am) for breakfast. However, there are always bananas available for a pre-yoga snack and you can also get a takeaway box for food at meal times.

Honestly, I’m really struggling to think of anything I didn’t like!
    – The food was incredible – it was plentiful, delicious, and varied.
    – The staff were kind and caring.
    – I made lifelong friends with the other guests.
    – There were a wide variety of classes offered, not just yoga and meditation but also special ones like lectures and inner healing therapies.
    – The relaxed atmosphere allowed me to do as many or as few classes as I wanted.
    – The rooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
    – The resort had an amazing pool and steam room, as well as plenty of chill-out areas with hammocks by the river.
    – They offered a free smoothie or coconut every day, plus unlimited tea and coffee (the coffee was fresh and made just how you like it – my favorite was cacao and coconut milk coffee!).

The fact that most people extended their stay or at least thought about it shows just how amazing this place is. I definitely plan to come back one day!

As an added bonus, I booked a spiritual counseling session with Oxana. I was so scared in my room at night because of all the animal noises! Even though there aren’t any dangerous animals, it was still really freaky. Next time, I’ll probably opt for the dorm instead. Plus, the private room wasn’t worth the price at all. The shower was constantly acting up, with cold water or, even worse, no water at times. And when there was water, it was dirty! I personally think the non-yoga events were pretty weak. Also, I’m not vegan, so while the food was really good, it wasn’t enough for me. They could use more power yoga classes. On the bright side, I enjoyed being able to try out different types of yoga and meditation, the program was packed, the food was delicious, people were super friendly, and the environment with hammocks, pool, and nature was really pleasant. The remote location was a plus because it forced me to focus on the retreat instead of sneaking off for a drink or something (although you could still take a taxi if you really wanted to, but it wasn’t that accessible and they kept us busy with events all the time).

I can’t book a private villa in advance, but that’s ok because it’s a relaxed and flexible place. There are a lot of like-minded single travelers here, which is good. There are fewer couples and no children, which is great. The standard of yoga is very impressive, even though this is a fairly remote place. All the instructors are experienced teachers, including visiting ones like Catherine, Nancy, and Jess on Pilates. They are all proper teachers, not fly-by-night traveler teachers. I was most impressed with that. The food is good quality and vegan. The rooms are clean, but they lack little things like bedside lamps or more clothes hanging places. Overall, it’s great. The only downside is that you can’t choose your room. I was willing to pay more for a villa for privacy, but I was told that upgrades are random and based on availability after you arrive. Oh well. I had a good, quick yoga meditation weekend away from corporate life, so I’m good! You can’t have everything you want in life, can you? By the way, one good thing is that despite being in the jungle, there are little to no mosquitoes! -Jacq

I stayed in the dorm and found the bed to be pretty hard and uncomfortable, which is common in Thailand. There was no storage or room to organize clothes or your bag, so four people in the room had their things splayed out on the floor. Hopefully, they had something to change this.

Oh my goodness, the food was spectacular! I’m not vegan, but I wanted to try everything in the buffet at every meal. The steam sauna was the best way to start and end my day, and the pool was clean and the perfect temperature.

The teachers all brought something special and different each day, and there was plenty of variety in classes and special events every day. I had such a lovely time.

In the shared dorm, it would have been great to have a small shelf or box by each bed for valuables. I always keep water by me on the top bunk so I can drink during the night. There weren’t enough hooks in the room or bathroom. But overall, the room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. I absolutely adored the positive, supportive vibe of Wonderland. It was the ideal environment for healing and spiritual growth. And let’s talk about the food – wow! Being a vegan, I was in heaven every day with the delicious meal options that not only nourished my body but my soul too. The staff were attentive and quick to assist with any requests without being overbearing. My stay was amazing! Even my husband noticed how radiant I looked when we met up after the retreat. Thank you.

I have no complaints here, just a suggestion to add some shelves for the top bunks in the dorms. It would be great to have a spot to keep your book, phone, or water at night without worrying about things falling.

I can’t wait to come back! Thank you all so much for the amazing experience at Wonderland. As soon as I arrived, I felt right at home and welcomed. The yoga shalas are fully equipped, the restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated. The food is outstanding, always smelling and tasting delicious—I definitely need to get my hands on some of those recipes! The pool is always clean and the perfect temperature. The steam room is incredible, with different herbal oils every day for a unique experience each time. The massages and treatments are a fantastic complement to the yoga classes and always leave me feeling refreshed and ready for more.

The variety of yoga classes was great, although I would have appreciated more advanced sessions for mastering trickier poses. The vinyasa and yin classes were always enjoyable. All the instructors were helpful and had their own teaching styles. A special shoutout to Ewa and Connie for expanding my yoga knowledge and practice.

I was pleasantly surprised by the dorm accommodations—it was much nicer than I expected. The beds were wide and comfy, the place was always clean, and the shower worked like a dream. I met wonderful people all seeking a relaxing time, making it the perfect stay!

Wonderland has really nailed it with their yoga retreat center. Whether you’re looking to meet new people or have some alone time, the space is perfect for both. If you’re planning a short-term retreat (3 nights), be sure to look at the activities list on their website so you can make the most of your stay. The food is fantastic, with a mix of local Thai dishes and vegan options. The location is a little ways from the beach, but I personally loved that aspect of it.

I’m sorry to say, but some of the local ladies at the reception need to find another job. They seem bored and unfriendly compared to the amazing rest of the staff. Not only are they very forgetful, but they also don’t seem to care much about the customers. This place is fantastic! It’s located in a quiet part of the island and the facilities are spotless. The classes offer a variety of options, so everyone can find a yoga style that suits them personally. I found the yoga classes with Ewa, Naama, Nancy, and Alon to be particularly appealing. Pilates with Jess is just fantastic and so much fun! The massages, Reiki treatments, and meditations are like a dream. I completed a 12-day detox program without food! The support from Chou and especially Gonen was excellent and really motivated me. Not only did I quit smoking and detox my body and mind, but I also lost 8kg. If you want to do something good for your health, find peace, and have a wonderful time, this is the perfect place for you. I will definitely be coming back! The evening events weren’t really my thing. I arrived without my phone, as I had lost it in Bangkok. The wonderful receptionist got me a watch (!!!) and everyone was so helpful and kind, which reflected in the classes and the food, and then onto the participants. We quickly got into conversations. The 2 morning yogas are scheduled too closely together, so it’s hard to attend both with breakfast in between. Being at wonderland feels like living in a bubble, away from the real world, where everyone is genuinely friendly and open. Special thanks to Cho for running the drawing classes, among others. Wonderland is an amazing place that takes you on an emotional, physical & spiritual rollercoaster. My partner and I had never done yoga before the retreat, but we quickly got hooked. The staff & teachers were fantastic, and we noticed improvements in our posture, strength, and flexibility within a week. The variety & quality of classes were top-notch… We especially loved the Hatha & Alignment classes and have kept up with our practice since leaving.

And let’s talk about the food… wow! We’re not vegans or vegetarians, but the meals were incredible. There was such a wide variety of cuisines that changed daily, along with fresh salad, fruit & shakes. So healthy & so delicious! It was so good that we’ve even started cutting down on meat & dairy.

Now onto the extras… Reiki was a new and personal experience for us that we really enjoyed. Melody was amazing! We also treated ourselves to Thai & Oil massages that were heavenly.

Lastly, the accommodation & facilities… we stayed in a 4 bed dorm and it was pure luxury compared to the hostels we had been staying in. The beds were comfortable, the room was cleaned daily, and was a good size for 4 people… just perfect! The pool and other facilities were also great and never too crowded.

I don’t usually write such long reviews, but Wonderland truly deserves it. It was a life-changing experience for us and we can’t wait to go back.

I loved the community in Wonderland. Everyone was very nice, professional, and helpful. I personally thought that adding small storage under the bed could improve the dorm facilities. It would also be great to have more choice of detox juices. I joined a 10-day detox program that was modified to meet my special needs. The detox team was very supportive and open to discussing any concerns I had about the program. The daily detox meetings really provided me with the mental support I needed. I didn’t feel like I was going through the process alone.

The variety of classes offered was fantastic. I learned about different types of yoga, breathing exercises, and even got to try dancing and a shamanic journey. There were also some interesting lectures available. The package included massages and treatments that helped me delve even deeper into my healing journey.

I had some wonderful experiences with Melody. My favorite classes were yoga with Alan and meditations with Ali. Alan is an amazing teacher, and Ali is so warm and open, always sharing her personal experiences which makes her teaching authentic.

It is located about 5 km from the beach. You can rent bikes and scooters there or order taxis to take you on excursions. It costs about 20€ for about 3 hours.
The advantage of being outside is the peaceful idyllic tranquility of a jungle. The sounds of the animals at night are amazing. Sleeping is also very quiet, as no cars disturb at night.

Wonderland healing center is one of the most rejuvenating places I’ve ever visited. I attended a 12-day detox retreat in September and was truly impressed. The dedicated healers and yoga teachers were the highlight for me. The detox program was well thought out and made me feel comfortable from the start. The variety of yoga classes offered, from sweaty Ashtanga to relaxing Yin Yoga, was perfectly balanced with 3 classes per day. The healers at the center are true experts in their field and there’s none of the hyper-spiritual or fanatic ideas you might expect. The environment at the center is absolutely stunning. I stayed in a private Pool Villa with an infinity pool just steps away from the bedroom. I can’t wait to return to Wonderland soon!

Everyone will love it. There’s nothing to complain about. The trip is totally worth it. The vegan food from Bridget is surprisingly perfect! All the staff here are so friendly and helpful. It’s such a calm and relaxing place, with amazing yoga classes taught by professional instructors. I felt so refreshed throughout the entire 6 days of the yoga retreat.

I couldn’t eat on holiday, but being able to fast for nearly 6 days made me feel empowered.

I had the incredible opportunity to spend 14 amazing days at Wonderland and experience the Yoga Retreat package. The resort, only six months old, truly exceeded my expectations compared to the promotional video and photos. My private room had a lovely view of the pool, complete with a relaxing hammock on the balcony. The staff, especially Ham and Aly, were fantastic, and the vegan cuisine was both delicious and diverse. Despite not being a vegan or vegetarian, I didn’t feel the need to dine elsewhere.
The variety of yoga and meditation classes offered were all top-notch, with each teacher providing valuable knowledge and guidance. The Thai masseuse who worked on me every other day pushed my limits and even folded me in ways I didn’t think were possible. She was amazing! Thank you, Wonderland, for an unforgettable Yoga Retreat. I hope to return with my family in the future. Namasté, Alice in Wonderland.

The resort is a bit far from the pier and beaches. The steam room is a bit secluded and could use more lighting, especially at night when it can get a bit scary. But, let me tell you, this place is truly a wonderland – serene and beautiful. I met some amazing people there and made some really good friends from all over the world. We explored the island together, which is absolutely stunning. You should definitely try Victoria and Nancy’s yoga classes, they are fantastic. The rooms are very clean and nice, and the pool and restaurant are beautiful and cozy. The instructors and staff are all very kind and supportive, taking care of all your needs. And the food, oh my goodness, the best vegan food I have ever had. The massages are also top-notch, I thoroughly enjoyed them. And if you can, definitely get a reiki treatment with Eyal. He is one of the most calm and spiritual people I have ever met. Wonderland truly changed me – I fell in love with my body and skin after the detox. I learned the true power of just being and not letting anything external disturb the peace of my mind. I was really sad to leave, but this place brought a strange peace and happiness in me. I am definitely going back.

The only downside wasn’t related to the retreat at all – it was just a bit far from the beach and shops. But it’s easy to make friends here, especially if they have scooters to take you around. Taxis are convenient too, and the staff at the retreat can even give you a ride if they’re available. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations: plenty of yoga classes, clean and lovely rooms, and surprisingly delicious vegan food. Meeting other solo travelers was great, but I also enjoyed bonding with the amazing Israeli staff. You all are amazing, and I can’t wait to come back and see you again!

Wonderland amazes me. I intended to stay for 3 nights, but I ended up extending my visit. The food here is outstanding, some of the best vegan dishes I’ve ever tasted. The resort is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the island, creating a tranquil atmosphere. You can easily access beautiful beaches and picturesque hiking trails nearby. The daily yoga and meditation programs, as well as various treatments, are top-notch with fantastic instructors. The staff here are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the pool offers a refreshing break from the beach. Wonderland is the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate – I will definitely return.

I wish the resort was closer to the beach for day trips, but they did offer rides into town when we asked, which was really helpful. The accommodations were top-notch! The room was so clean and comfortable, the air conditioner worked great, they cleaned the room every day, and gave us new towels whenever we needed. It was fantastic!

I had to leave because Ali’s meditation was amazing! All the yoga instructors Sky, Veronica, Victoria, and Leon all brought their own unique and powerful aspects to their classes. The variety of yoga was exceptional. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don’t miss out on this – book now and you won’t regret it!

I don’t have any negatives about it. It’s a bit out of the way from Thong Sala, but that’s what I wanted – some peace and quiet. You can easily rent a motorbike if you want to explore, and the staff is super helpful if you need anything. The classes, the food, the staff, the pool, the atmosphere, the massages… everything was amazing. I highly recommend it!

I wish I had rented a bike to explore more of the island, especially the beaches, and joined in on the events. But, luckily, Hiem gave me a hand with some errands when I needed it, and members of the community kindly offered me rides to different places. My time at Wonderland was really special. The vibe there is so welcoming and laid-back. Even though I was flying solo, I never felt alone thanks to the amazing staff and community members who were so generous and kind to me. Since I visited during the low season, I lucked out with having a dorm room all to myself for most of my stay, which made the whole retreat super affordable. The yoga classes pushed me to work on my fitness and technique, and the treatments were top-notch and added a touch of luxury. When I wasn’t in class, I loved lounging by the pool or chilling in my beautifully air-conditioned room. And let’s not forget about the food and free juice – I couldn’t get enough of the delicious and varied meals. Wonderland really went above and beyond to give me a well-deserved break from my 5 months of backpacking.
