The rooms at this beautiful location were great, but the neighbours could be noisy because the sound travels easily. The social vibe was very welcoming, and the food was outstanding with a good variety of classes for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the steam room and cold plunge. We even rented a scooter from the resort to explore the island. Checkin and checkout, as well as the pickup and drop off to the ferry terminal, were all seamless. There were lots of different nationalities, singles, couples, and groups staying at the resort. The staff kept everything clean and made sure to provide plenty of water in the rooms.

The bunk bed in the dorm room was hard, and I wished for curtains to separate us. There were regularly cockroaches in the bathroom. It’s a pleasant place in a quiet location, great for unwinding. They offer a variety of courses, good food, positive vibes, and friendly people.

The classes in the retreat were full, which wasn’t a pleasant experience. It was so crowded that you ended up touching the people next to you in every position. I decided to skip some classes and spend more time relaxing on my own to have a more positive experience. Some of the teachers were disappointing, like Nadja. She had a bad vibe, didn’t greet anyone, and got defensive when asked questions. She kept referring to another retreat as being better and recommended everyone to go there instead. It was strange since we were all there for the same reason. Plus, she was always outside smoking cigarettes, which didn’t leave a good impression. Despite that, I liked the location and the food at the retreat. The facility was great, but the smell around the houses was unbearable. It literally smelled like poop everywhere, making it hard to enjoy the peace and tranquility.

The location feels like you’re at the edge of the world – it’s simply amazing. However, it can be a bit challenging at times because the nearest village is quite far away. You’ll need to take a taxi (unless you can drive a scooter), and they can be quite pricey – just like in all Thai islands.

When booking, I recommend going for a private accommodation. The dorms are usually packed with 5-6 people sharing a small space, and the center is always crowded. So, if you’re looking for some privacy, a private room is definitely a better option. This place might just be the best retreat ever! Wonderland is nestled in the middle of a lush forest, and it offers top-notch facilities that are always clean and very comfortable. You’ll have access to an amazing pool, sauna, and spa. And let’s not forget about the food – it’s the most delicious vegan food you can imagine!

The instructors are super professional, offering various levels and styles of yoga and meditation. This place truly lives up to its name – it’s a Wonderland and a healing space for anyone in search of peace, connection, and equanimity.

They also offer a variety of other classes that we really enjoyed (Women’s Circle, Tibetan Singing Bowl Healing,….)

The vegan buffet is fantastic and changes daily. It always left us satisfied.

If you stay longer than a week, some workshops may repeat a bit. It would be awesome to make small changes to the schedule or add something new. You can revisit the activities you loved or just relax and skip a few. I planned to stay at Wonderland for 7 days but ended up extending my stay by 4 more days. It’s truly a magical place where you can attend up to 6 workshops daily, enjoy the pool, sauna, and meet incredible people. The instructors are all fantastic, some even inspiring. I opted for a private room, which was excellent – they clean it daily and ensure you have enough water. The food is absolutely delicious, I had one of the best falafel here! I wish I could have stayed longer, but I will definitely be back.

The resort filled up quickly during my stay. The yoga classes became so crowded that you couldn’t move without being cautious of bumping into someone. There were a few times when we ran out of mats and pillows. It’s no wonder people keep coming back – I had a great time there. As a beginner in yoga, I never felt lost thanks to the teachers providing different pose variations for everyone to join in. My week was perfect. I learned a lot about yoga and myself.

I enjoyed the variety of classes offered throughout the day, including yoga, meditation, and lectures. The dorm I stayed in was spotless and I loved it. The food was delicious and I looked forward to dinner every day.

There were plenty of communal areas to socialize and relax. I appreciated the water refill stations that eliminated the need for plastic bottles.

It’s super busy and crowded here, more like a resort with classes than a peaceful retreat. It’s kinda clicky and not as friendly as most retreats. Your yoga won’t get much better here since the teachers don’t give feedback or guidance, but the classes are fun. The teachers and western staff could be warmer and friendlier. The food is awesome, there are plenty of classes each day, and the place is absolutely gorgeous!

I had one issue with the general quality of yoga classes at Wonderland. Out of the 14 classes I took, only 3 were taught by top-notch instructors. Most instructors would bring people into a pose but wouldn’t provide guidance on how to properly be in the pose. There were very few anatomical cues and almost no instruction on breath work, making it hard to stay present. I wished the instructors paid more attention to students, as they often just demonstrated the pose and held it themselves without engaging with the class.

As a certified yoga instructor myself, I felt that the classes lacked energy and engagement. The only time I received an assist was when a teacher touched me without asking for permission. I believe that some reviews described the classes as beginner style, but beginner classes actually require more cues than intermediate ones to ensure the pose is being done correctly. I wish Wonderland had higher standards for the quality of classes offered, with instructors like Amber or Raj teaching more frequently. Ewa’s Reiki session was definitely worth it, and the food was great. Raj’s Kundalini and Amber’s Flow classes were excellent, and I enjoyed David’s Hatha stretch and Nadja’s meditation. All the special classes were a must-do, and I left the retreat with a great spiritual experience. The staff was amazing, and the sauna was fantastic.

Overall, I really enjoyed the retreat and would do it again. The meditations and special classes alone were worth it. I do miss the pool, though!

You couldn’t really go anywhere on foot. Of course you could, but it would’ve been a bit of a stretch. I wish the retreat offered a shuttle to the town and back at least once a day if people need to do some shopping or such.

The massage was great, but a little pricey. There were so many different options for yoga and meditation lessons. I loved it.

The food was heavenly. Thank you for the variety.

One instructor led the healing class really nicely and I believe she excels as a mindfulness coach compared to a yoga/pilates instructor. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the lack of harmony in the class and the misalignment of the pilates flow sequence. For example, we started with pilates 100s before addressing anything else, and breath was not mentioned at all.

In addition, another girl in my dorm and I experienced food poisoning from dinner, which was a major letdown. Surprisingly, it seemed that only the two of us were affected. However, the location itself is beautiful and perfect for relaxation. The staff was helpful and there were plenty of opportunities to meet new people.

None of the three instructors I wanted to review are included in this review, but two of them held lovely classes with thoughtful structure. I appreciated the challenge in the flow, but overall I would classify this as Yoga for beginners.

I observed that most of the people attending were very young at the yoga retreat. It was not particularly friendly, which is unusual for a yoga retreat. The staff and instructors were fantastic, but I wonder how it would have been if I was an absolute beginner since most classes were at intermediate and beyond levels. If you have never done yoga before, this might not be the place for you. There are lots of classes and activities every day that you can choose to join or not. The facilities are well looked after and set in a beautiful location. The classes offer a real range of options. The room was very nice. Overall, it is a really special place.

I noticed some things were missing in the dorm. Each bed didn’t have a plug or reading light, and the metal bunk beds were really noisy. If you moved, you’d risk waking up the person below you. Other than that, everything was great. The classes were fantastic. You get a schedule with one morning meditation and two morning yoga classes. In the afternoon, there’s one more meditation class and one more yoga class. You can plan your days however you like. There’s a break between 11:30 and 15:00 with no classes, so you can relax by the pool, enjoy the hammam, or go for a scooter or bike ride. Food is served from 9-13:00 and 18:00-20:00, with no snacks in between, but you can order a smoothie or go to a nearby restaurant. The vegan food is delicious, the hammam is incredible, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.

In the advanced meditation class, many of us were going without knowing how to meditate, and learning there was very difficult. We didn’t attend the 7 am meditation because it wasn’t guided, had no music, and lacked any guidance. The individual rooms are very beautiful and spacious. The accommodation and common areas are decorated with great attention to detail. Classes are held at various times and workshops are offered after dinner.

The meditation sessions take some getting used to when you’re used to meditating for max. 25 minutes in everyday life. They can get quite long in the retreat, so it’s always a challenge not to fall asleep. Unfortunately, I was sick for the first two days, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to heal. They took care of me and I was able to move to a private room at short notice. I think I’ve never recovered so quickly before. The food was simply delicious and always fresh!! The yoga sessions were wonderful, I could really let go. Unfortunately, I could only attend 2 classes due to my illness. There is definitely a huge variety of yoga classes and I’m sure there is something for everyone:)
The place in general is simply magical. There are so many great people coming together and you feel right at home in the first few seconds!

The resort is not located by the beach and you have to pay about 150-200 per person to take a taxi to the beach. (But they do offer free beach trips once in a while.) That’s the only thing I didn’t like! Everything else was amazing!

The atmosphere at the resort is healing, relaxed, and loving. It was so easy to de-stress there! Everyone, from the reception staff to the restaurant workers to the cleaners to the masseuses, and even most of the teachers and other guests, were extremely friendly. I met so many wonderful people during my stay and kept in touch with them afterwards.

I stayed in a dorm room with 4 people and everyone was respectful. The rooms and common areas were very clean and the food was delicious! I really enjoyed the variety of workshops, yoga and meditation classes, and other activities like guided hikes to waterfalls or trips to the beach.

I only stayed for a week but I wish I could have stayed longer! It was a truly amazing experience.

At first, I thought I must have misplaced it, but after speaking to three other guests who had similar experiences, I felt unsafe. I informed the reception, and they promised to inform the boss. While I enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Wonderland, I can’t recommend it to friends due to this incident. They need to find staff who won’t steal from guests.

Most yoga classes mainly focus on pure asana or fitness, even if they were supposed to be Level 1. I just prefer other types of yoga.

Unfortunately, while I was in Wonderland, they did not offer Sound healing, Wim Hof, or Mantra Chanting workshops, which I would have loved to attend. Make sure to check the schedule before coming 🙂

Wonderland is such a beautiful place to be! I had a fantastic time there and now feel purified, relaxed, and connected to my inner peace.

I really enjoyed the daily Vipassana Meditations with Yaron in the morning – a great way to start the day.

I also loved the Kundalini Hatha classes with Raj. He is so knowledgeable and wise. The Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy workshop with Liz was fantastic too. I had a great experience in the women’s circle with lovely Amor and also enjoyed the classes with Stephanie.

Oh, and the food at Wonderland is absolutely delicious ❤️ Enjoy your time in paradise!

I felt very comfortable in Wonderland. The people were very nice, the food is excellent. It was also clean and the yoga classes were great. Personally, Yin Yoga wasn’t a big challenge for me, but the classes are suitable for beginners. I also extended my stay because I felt so comfortable, and it was no problem at all – the staff is very nice. The location is a bit hard to reach, but if you have a scooter it’s easier, otherwise you can order a taxi from the hotel.

We spent four days there. On the last night, we got hit with the worst stomach virus. We couldn’t even move. We suffered from fever, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting for three whole days. It feels like we wasted both our money and our health.

We feel cheated. We paid to feel better, not to get sick. It’s difficult to leave a bad review, but after feeling so awful, we have to warn others. The yoga classes were enjoyable and the teachers were excellent.

I arrived in October for an eight day retreat and found myself surrounded by the beauty of the green and inviting area. The facilities were great and the yoga teachers were very experienced. But what truly made it feel like a Wonderland was the atmosphere of togetherness. At the buffet restaurant, long tables allowed me to meet like-minded people from all around the world. Conversations became deep and I quickly developed a sense of belonging. When I left, I had made some great new connections and was trying to figure out how to bring the benefits of Wonderland into my daily life at home.

I spent 7 nights in the dorm room at Wonderland. It’s not the best dorm I’ve stayed in, but hey, you’re just sleeping there anyway.

During the day, there are loads of classes like different kinds of yoga and meditation styles, lectures, and fun activities like hiking to a waterfall or taking a sunset tour. The best part is, you get to choose what you want to do.

And if you’re feeling more like relaxing, you can chill by the pool, hit up the sauna, or treat yourself to a massage.

Oh, and the food is out of this world! I’m usually vegetarian, and they had a whole vegan buffet set up. It was like heaven on a plate 😉

I overheard a few folks talking about how they want to come back every year now. And honestly, I totally get where they’re coming from. Wonderland is just that good.

Nothing Wonderland in the jungle of Ko Pha Ngan is an amazing little oasis. The rooms get cleaned daily and they provide shampoo and bath gel. The vegan buffet is delicious with a variety of international dishes. You can also get your laundry done affordably and reliably. They offer different types of meditations and yoga classes, along with talks, movies, and fire nights.

They have a sauna, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, and lounging areas. You can join complementary trips for hikes in the jungle or to the beach. They also offer various holistic treatments and, of course, Thai Massage. It’s truly a wonderland, you should definitely check it out.

The evening programs at Wonderland offered a mix of topics, but they felt a bit disorganized. The schedules were easy to follow, but some of the topics were vague. Visiting instructors would sometimes introduce themselves and share their experiences, while others were more casual in their approach. I was interested in joining, but without more information, I didn’t feel comfortable entering and risking an awkward exit or sitting through a session that didn’t interest me.

Wonderland was a fantastic place to stay for healing, relaxation, and connecting with like-minded people. I enjoyed the structured classes on some days, but on others, I was happy to relax by the pool, chat with new friends, and indulge in a massage. I met people who had returned to Wonderland for another visit, which spoke volumes about the resort’s charm. I stayed on the property for my entire trip, completely content with the delicious and diverse food options. I loved trying new dishes and have brought that culinary experience back home with me.

The food was unbelievably good, the place had a lot of chill areas, the pool was great, and the rooms and bathrooms in the dorm were really nice. Since I was traveling alone, I really wanted to meet new people, and it was so easy to strike up conversations with everyone. The staff and other guests were all so nice. The yoga and meditation teachers were amazing, and the schedule was really well planned. You didn’t have to attend every class, which was a nice touch, and they also organized some fun outings like a hike to a waterfall, flower crown making, and watching the sunset at the beach. I especially enjoyed the evening talks. If you’re thinking about going on a yoga retreat, Wonderland is the place to be! It’s absolutely amazing, and you’ll never want to leave, trust me!

The team should elaborate more on activities like hikes and sunset tours so people know what to expect. I tried both and they were amazing, but different from what you might think based on their names. The place is truly magical. In the four days I spent there, I relaxed and restored more than I would at a typical beach resort. The schedule is packed with activities, offering something for everyone. Even when heavy rain trapped us there for days, it didn’t feel like torture because there was so much to do. The food was great – even for a non-vegan like me. Unfortunately, the welcome at the retreat left a lot to be desired. We didn’t get any information about how things worked or the promised welcome drink and yoga consultation that was included in our booking. I think even just a quick five minute chat about the classes and our goals, along with a discussion about injuries would have made a big difference in setting the tone.

The lack of clarity extended to the daily smoothie that was supposed to be included – we had to ask for it each day, which was kind of awkward. Aly and Lauren were fantastic instructors though, they were really welcoming and made an effort to adapt postures and give feedback during sessions.

Some of the other teachers, however, were not as friendly and the atmosphere felt cold and full of ego. It was a bit robotic and unenthusiastic in those sessions. And on top of that, there wasn’t enough room in some of the classes, which was a bummer.

Lastly, a hike got cancelled due to weather and we were never told about it. But on the upside, the site itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and the food was delicious.

Wonderland is a great place to be if you want to be in a safe environment and meet like-minded people. However, I felt like it was mostly filled with Westerners and I wished there were more Thai food options available. The center is located about 20 minutes from the coast, so I was expecting it to be on a picturesque mountain, but the grounds are actually flat. It’s helpful to have a scooter to explore the area. Wonderland offers a fantastic daily schedule of classes and specials to keep you busy and introduce you to different meditation and yoga practices. The yoga teachers were mostly excellent and the food was delicious. There are plenty of treatments available, but they can be on the pricier side.

The only downside of my experience was getting COVID. My Day 1 roommate, who was positive, had been advised by management to continue going to classes, act normal, and stay in our dorm room. She only told me on Day 2 as she was leaving that she had COVID the whole time. She was coughing, had a fever, and tested positive. Not surprisingly, I got COVID myself 5 days later after spending all night with her in the dorm room without masks.

Wonderland believes everyone is constantly exposed to asymptomatic individuals, which is true. However, I hadn’t caught COVID in 2 years until that night. I isolated myself for 5 days to prevent spreading it to others, following my cultural norms.

I wish I had been informed about my roommate’s situation and given the chance to move to a private room to avoid exposure. The lesson here is if you fear getting COVID, book an individual room at Wonderland.

During my stay at Wonderland for yoga, meditation, and other activities for several weeks, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned. I had little experience before, but I tried almost every class offered- about 30 in total. The variety of classes changed daily and I found new understanding and insights through some meditation/energy sessions.

I made many new friends among the guests and staff, who were all friendly and accommodating. I don’t know when I can return, but I definitely will, possibly with my daughter next time. Wonderland had a great pool for kids, and there were other children there too.

My boyfriend and I visited Wonderland in Koh Phangan for the first time, and we can’t stop telling everyone about our incredible experience. The yoga classes last an hour and a half and cater to all levels. I was amazed at how much progress I made in just one week, despite practicing yoga for years. There’s a variety of yoga teachers and styles, so if one doesn’t work for you, there are plenty of other options. With at least 3 yoga classes and over 3 meditation classes each day, this place went above and beyond our expectations. My boyfriend originally tagged along for me, but by the end of the week, he was doing handstands too! The vegan buffet for brunch and dinner was not only filling and delicious but also healthy, a nice change from the usual Thai fare. Without a bike, it might be hard to explore the island, so you’d have to be okay staying at the retreat (which isn’t a bad thing!). The cleaning staff wasn’t very friendly and didn’t clean regularly – there were ants in the rooms! But overall, I had a great experience. The food was clean, healthy, and diverse. Wonderland is a very nice and relaxing place for single travelers and groups. The schedule offers a variety of options based on your interests. The meditation and yoga sessions are high quality, and the food is fresh and delicious. This place is perfect for those who prefer to do more than just lounge on sunbeds all day, although that is still an option at Wonderland.

When it comes to retreats, Wonderland is not a holistic experience, making it a good choice for those new to meditation or yoga retreats. The schedule is easy to adjust to, with morning classes starting at 8 am instead of the early hours seen at some other retreats. The staff is friendly and the location makes it easy to explore different parts of Koh Phangan island. The rooms are clean, of good quality (3 stars), and equipped with air conditioning.

The 6-bed dorms are okay but not luxurious. The beds wiggle and squeak; there’s only the big room light, so you easily disturb each other; there are no closets, clothes are always in the backpack on the floor; bed curtains would be nice for some privacy, a shelf by the bed to put things on would also be helpful. All of that was almost irrelevant to me in the first week because everything else was great, but unfortunately, in my second week, Wonderland got very crowded… we squeezed over 40 people into the Shala, which definitely wasn’t fun anymore. If you were late, you couldn’t participate. The family-like relaxed atmosphere was lost during meals. Waiting in line, waiting, or even not getting any food left. Drinks ran out late at night, no towels available, etc… Very unfortunate, the first week was truly fantastic… The quiet jungle location, beautifully landscaped, diverse weekly program for trying out new things, casual and familial vibe, very mixed crowd, the steam sauna, everything well-maintained and clean, the buffet is truly great.

Some of the bedding had stains and looked old. When I asked, the reception staff didn’t know much about the content of the classes. The television didn’t work for my entire stay. Overall, Wonderland had a great vibe and energy. The teachers and staff were amazing and very friendly. The food is top quality, and I believe the place can only improve with time and a few tweaks.

The yoga class level depends on the participants, mostly beginners, so it wasn’t very advanced. It would be lovely if they added a class for intermediate yogis. I really enjoyed Wonderland. The food was amazing, with a vegan buffet for every meal. I’m speechless about how delicious it was. Plus, they give you a free shake or coconut every day, which are also amazing. They have unlimited coffee with almond or coconut milk and a self-serve tea station. The camp itself is beautiful and the people have such positive energy. I took a lot home from the meditation classes. The classes are fantastic too. I just can’t say enough about how much I loved it.

Saying my time at Wonderland was transformative is an understatement. People from all walks of life come here for different reasons. Wonderland offers a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere that allows for deep healing. I was able to let go of things and reflect on my limiting beliefs. The amazing food was a major draw for me and it definitely lived up to expectations! The Sauna and cold plunge pool were highlights for me. There are so many classes to choose from, including various yoga styles, meditation, and breath work. I loved Wonderland so much that I extended my stay. Koh Phangan is truly a magical paradise. After spending two weeks at Wonderland, I’ve decided to return in three weeks to start my Yoga Teacher Training.

The only disappointing thing was the accommodation. It’s basic and missing shelves or storage near the bed. The sink leaks, the shower is awful, and the shower holder is broken. They need hand soap in both toilets. But, despite that, I’d come back in a heartbeat because everything else was top-notch. Everyone loved the place. The staff is fantastic, the classes exceeded my expectations, and the food was amazing. They should definitely publish a cookbook – it would be a bestseller!

I didn’t really enjoy the dancing options for the evening, so I wasn’t interested in those. I would have preferred a Yin Yoga class or some extra meditation at 8pm instead of something more lively, but other people seemed to like it. I can’t speak highly enough about this retreat – and I have to admit, I was skeptical at first. I’ve been doing yoga for a while, but I’ve never been on a retreat before. The timing and location worked out perfectly after a work trip, and I’m so glad I took a chance on this place. From the moment I arrived (they even gave me a welcome drink while checking in), I felt right at home. Meeting people from all over the world at meal times was so cool, but it was also nice to relax in a hammock with a good book or do some journal writing by the pool in between planned activities. Not every yoga style or instructor was my favorite, but it was great to try new things – like Aerial Yoga (which I loved) and Laughter Yoga (weird, but glad I tried it). The location was perfect – secluded yet close to great hiking to waterfalls and beautiful mountain views. The dorm rooms were comfy and the beds surprisingly soft. I highly recommend getting a Thai massage – wish I had done that every day. I enjoyed every minute, and it was perfect that it started raining as soon as I left. Getting to Koh Phangan was a bit of a hassle with all the flights, ferries, and buses, but if I ever have the chance to go back, I definitely will. Great job, Wonderland team!

And don’t forget to bring your own hand soap for the bathroom. The food was so good, I couldn’t resist the buffet. Those pancakes still haunt my dreams. It’s such a relaxing place. I had a great time meeting all the friendly staff and guests. You have a lot of freedom there. You don’t have to attend all the classes or socialize if you don’t want to. You can just relax with a book in a hammock or by the pool. It’s a bit of a hassle to go from Ko Samui airport to your island by taking a transfer and ferry. However, the center has a fantastic atmosphere that really helps to calm you down.

I think they need to update their list of instructors because I really enjoyed Selina’s Yin Yoga and Chakra Yoga classes, as well as the Kundalini Yoga class on Wednesday, December 4th.

I have only two constructive criticisms. First, I think the yoga equipment needs to be washed and cleaned daily because they all smelled quite bad. Second, the mattresses are incredibly hard to sleep on, so I believe adding a mattress topper would be helpful. However, the staff was very accommodating and provided me with multiple blankets to fold up and sleep on.

Wonderland truly amazes with something to suit every holiday style. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, they offer a beautiful pool, sauna, massages, delicious vegan food, coconuts, tranquil surroundings, yin yoga, meditation, and more. I highly recommend planning at least a week there to fully experience everything… or you could always extend your stay;) It’s hard to leave Wonderland once you’re there.

For the more active folks, they have bicycles (scooters too!) to explore the island, visit beautiful beaches, or simply enjoy the nature by cycling around. You can also go snorkeling by KohMa. I personally attended some Ashtanga classes outside Wonderland, but if you’re a beginner (like most people there), they have different yoga styles and great guidance available every day.

If you’re seeking a deeper experience, I highly enjoyed the ice bath pranayama classes, where we focused on breathing techniques and breath retention. But the ultimate experience for me was The Inner Walk. It revealed things I never knew and truly opened my eyes. It teaches you valuable lessons and provides a technique for everyday survival in this world. Thanks to Wonderland, I now have a better grasp of mindfulness and what it truly means (even after reading countless books and articles). Thank you, Wonderland!

Occasionally, last-minute schedule switches or cancellations happen at Wonderland because they contract with instructors all over the island. But hey, that can happen anywhere, right?

The construction that was happening due to the rain storms was a bit disruptive, but hey, what can you do? It’s all part of the experience. The staff at Wonderland takes good care of you, making sure all your needs are met.

Wonderland is a drop-in center, so you can come and go as you please. While you might not build skills over time, you do get to explore your practice with different instructors and styles.

I stayed in a private room with one other person, and it was perfect. Comfortable beds, a bathroom, and AC made it cozy. Each room also has a hammock on the porch or balcony, which we definitely made good use of.

The food at Wonderland was amazing! I specifically looked for a place that served vegan food, and this place blew my expectations out of the water.

The little extras at Wonderland really make the experience special. Daily smoothies, coconuts, Reiki, and massage treatments are all included, with additional treatments available for a reasonable fee. Need help renting a motorbike, taxi, or planning an island tour? The staff at Wonderland have got you covered.

Even after the storms and flooding, the facilities at Wonderland are lovely. The pool and one set of bathrooms were out of commission for a few days, but were quickly fixed and back up and running.

If you’re planning a 4-day retreat, just book for 8 days. And if you’re booking for 8 days, stay even longer. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Yin and restorative yoga are fantastic here, but if you’re looking for power or vinyasa classes, this might not be the place for you. Out of our 5 days there, only one class was actually level 2 or challenging. Most classes were pretty mellow. I only found hip openers in two out of the 10 classes I took, which was a bit disappointing since I really need that. None of the teachers had a vinyasa sequence, where you move with each breath. They all knew their stuff, but they tended to pace class a bit more slowly and ramble a bit. The facilities, staff, food, and schedule were all top-notch. It’s a real treat to be on such a gorgeous property. The teachers were knowledgeable and really took their classes seriously.

Some yoga classes are very basic. I was hoping for a few more classes at a higher level. The dorms are alright, but having six people is a bit too much, especially with only one shower. The food and people here are amazing! I only booked for three nights but ended up staying a few more. I really enjoy the meditation with Ali and having daily coconut water.

There’s not much bad about this place! There are lots of insects (it’s like a jungle here), and I saw two huge spiders in one girl’s bathroom. The location is right in the middle of the island, with no vista or view. The common area stops playing music at 10pm, and you can’t even play cards. And where are the pool toys? 🙁 Some of the yoga classes move at a slow, plodding pace. The lockers in the dorms aren’t big enough for backpacks. But those banana pancakes, man! They’re like crack! I’ll definitely come back just for those. The dorms are modern and immaculate, with two bathrooms. There are hammocks and lounge beds everywhere. The sauna and ice pool are amazing! The pool is at the perfect temperature and cleaned daily. There are plug sockets near each bed. The common areas are comfy and welcoming. The staff is kind and helpful, and the instructors are super friendly. The food is amazing, fresh, and varied. The classes were solid and varied (the improv contact was hilarious). The detoxing experience was eye-opening 😉 You can easily and cheaply rent a scooter from the reception. It’s so easy to lose track of time in this quiet, peaceful sanctuary!

Maybe the location of my room is the only downside – it’s right in front of the pool, so there are always people passing by. But honestly, that’s just a small thing compared to everything else this place has to offer. The atmosphere, food, music, teachers, freedom, courses, location, prices – it’s all amazing. This place is a treasure, so let’s make sure it stays that way.

They approached me and addressed my issue. The accommodation was cheap, so it was very basic (but I already knew that.. shared room). You’ll have the option of attending three different levels of classes each day, taught by top-notch instructors, along with two meditation sessions, enlightening lectures, and fun evening activities. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re staying for a long haul or just a quick visit.

The vegan food here has been raved about, and I have to agree – it’s tasty, diverse, and super fresh. I seriously considered kidnapping the chef and taking them home with me.

I didn’t find some of the evening workshops very exciting, or they just didn’t appeal to me. I wish there was more variety, like adding other types of yoga such as Iyengar.

I decided to step out of my comfort zone and book this yoga retreat at Wonderland after feeling off for a while. The goal was to reconnect with my love for yoga and give meditation another shot, as I always struggled with it. After mustering up the courage, I booked my first ever retreat and I’m thrilled I chose Wonderland Healing Centre. It’s a great deal, with fresh and tasty vegan meals three times a day. My private room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. They even include a free massage and offer a variety of classes throughout the day to keep you busy, with plenty of solo time to relax in the sun or catch up on reading. The restaurant area is a nice spot to hang out or sneak in a quick nap.

The yoga instructors were fantastic, especially Naama in Wild Organic Yoga and Camilla in Yin Yoga. I also loved the SOMA breathing yoga workshop and Yoga Nidra classes.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to stay an extra week (originally planned for just three nights).

The atmosphere in this place is incredibly relaxed, quiet, and peaceful. You can choose from different classes all day long. It’s not just about practicing yoga or other activities; the teacher also explains a lot so you learn a ton. The food was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel, fresh and super healthy. I wish the sea was closer (it takes 15 minutes by cab and costs 150/200 baht). It would be nice if there was a free shuttle to the beach on a fixed schedule. Having more diversity in meditation would be interesting as well. The daily program can get repetitive if you stay longer, but it’s not a big deal if you’re not too experienced. The energy is great, and it’s a wonderful place surrounded by greenery. You can feel that the details have been carefully thought out. I stayed in the dorm for 11 nights, and it was very clean with bed sheets and towels changed every day. The staff are sweet and helpful, and the food is amazing. My only complaint was about the sleeping situation. In all the other hostels I stayed at in Thailand, the dorm beds had curtains for privacy and were much more comfortable. It was ironic that the focus of our yoga and meditation work was on alignment and taking care of our bodies, yet we slept on the most uncomfortable beds ever. If they changed the beds in the dorms, it would be a practically perfect experience! This retreat exceeded my expectations. I met incredible people, both teachers and participants, enjoyed amazing food, and took part in great yoga classes. The retreat was welcoming to beginners but also had advanced participants who seemed to have a good time. With a pool and steam room, you could join all the classes or do your own thing. The Yoga classes were packed and the instructor talked a lot. My bathroom didn’t smell great, but I was prepared for it. The room I stayed in was spacious with a nice view of the pool. We are left to figure things out on our own (which might be what some people prefer), though there are opportunities to open up and discuss in certain activities. I almost exclusively communicated through the internet when I had questions and problems, especially when I was on site. A personal conversation can be much better in such situations. The receptionists were very nice but didn’t have decision-making authority. They often had to send an email to the owners and wait for a response, even though they were right there. I found that very strange and closed off.

I didn’t like the mixed dormitories. I wanted to move to a private room for an extra charge, but it was unreasonably expensive. The yoga and meditation classes were good. The food was really delicious. The facility is beautifully designed. I loved the sauna and steam room. The massage was also really great.

This place just oozes magic. The food is amazing, the schedule is packed with all kinds of activities, and the teachers for both yoga and meditation are top-notch. But it’s really the people who bring it all together. The bonds formed, the experiences shared, and the meals eaten together create a special atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and reserve a room for as long as possible! Once you’re here, you won’t want to leave.

I had an amazing experience spending 22 days at the Resort! The beautiful surroundings and meeting people from all over the world made it a special and magical place. Every day, we shared unforgettable experiences in a simple and harmonious way. The Community here offers the best Yoga, meditation classes, detox programs, Reiki, vegan food, and a good selection of international music. I laughed, cried, spent hours in silence, chilled out by the pool, enjoyed the steam room, and deeply cultivated inner peace, self-love, forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, joy, and kindness.

I didn’t personally plan the program as I had been promised. The yoga classes were meant for beginners and there was quite a variety of styles. I ended up getting one of the “not so good” rooms and felt a bit disappointed since it didn’t have a terrace, seating area, or the view that was promised. The room would have been fine for a shorter stay. If you’re looking to advance in yoga or find a “real” yoga school, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you’re looking for a resort where you can eat healthy, dip your toes into spirituality, and relax, I would definitely recommend it. The food was excellent, the rooms were clean, the staff was mostly friendly, and the surroundings and pool area were nice. It would be a great experience for someone with little to no yoga experience. The meditation classes were good and some of the yoga instructors seemed really experienced.

I found a criticism about the level of yoga offered at Wonderland Yoga Retreat. I thought it was a bit too intense for me, even though I tried to stick to Level 1. It felt tough on my body because of some issues I have to manage. I wished they had focused more on alternative poses for people with limitations. I also felt the instructors should have checked if anyone had any issues or were pregnant before the class.

It would have been helpful if someone had explained how the retreat works when we checked in. Since it was our first yoga retreat, we had nothing to compare it to. However, my son and I both thought the facilities, food, instructors, and accommodation were top-notch. (My son was worried there wouldn’t be enough food!)

We enjoyed every moment of our stay and it went by too quickly. We plan on coming back again, hopefully by the end of the year. I highly recommend Wonderland Yoga Retreat to anyone looking for a complete holistic experience with yoga, philosophy, meditation, and lifestyle choices all in one place.

The hot water in the bathroom wasn’t working well. I started off in a dorm room, but it was too much for me so I had to move to a private room. The reasons for moving were: there were too many girls in one room for the small space, poor ventilation, AC was malfunctioning, lack of storage area so I had to put my stuff on the floor, the beds were too high and noisy, disturbing the neighbor below every time I had to go to the bathroom at night.

I also wasn’t a fan of the stray dogs on the island, especially the ones that would come into the place. However, I did like how friendly everyone was and the family-like atmosphere. The premises were fantastic, well-designed and maintained, clean and fresh. The owner paid attention to many details that solo travelers would appreciate.

The rooms were spacious and clean with two toilets for a 6-people dorm, which was perfect. However, in my opinion, concrete western-style houses are not the best choice for a tropical climate because they cause energy consumption to rise above acceptable levels; we had to use the air conditioning every night. Overall, everything was good.
I was looking for a more minimalist place, and Wonderland had a more vacation-like ambiance, but it was still very good. The yoga classes could be challenging, but they were accessible even for beginners.

I really enjoyed the fabulous vegan food, despite not being a vegetarian. The smoothies were also really nice. Even though I wasn’t on a detox, I felt my digestive system improve during my stay.

The yoga classes had different levels every day, and the instructors were encouraging, knowledgeable, and eager to answer any questions we had.

They occasionally arranged trips to beaches, and I joined once and the sunset was breathtaking.

I loved the restaurant area – people chilled out and made friends, but you could also enjoy some alone time. There was a special event every evening, which was a great way to interact with people in ways other than just chatting.

While I was there, major flooding caused many people to lose their personal items, including the pool being out of use for the entire time. It was disappointing that customers who were affected by the flooding received no token of good will or discounts.

Yoga classes can be really busy, and they may not always be the best for beginners or those who are less physically able. Some teachers don’t provide modifications for injuries or less ability. As someone who has been teaching yoga for a while, I noticed that some of the instruction was clearly intended for more advanced students, which could be risky for beginners. The community vibe is great, and there’s a wide selection of food at each buffet. They can accommodate food allergies too 🙂 The classes are diverse and well-taught, although they may not be ideal for beginners.

There were so many people at this retreat that the classes were always jam-packed. I really would have enjoyed smaller classes with fewer people.
The beds were pretty hard, but after visiting other places in Thailand, we found that this is pretty standard.
Still, with as much as we spent there, I would have loved a nice fluffy mattress.
They treated us like VIP’s from check-in to check-out. Everyone is so nice. The food, served buffet-style, was always healthy and delicious. There is too much coming and going of people. It would be better to establish fixed programs, for example, you can only come on Saturdays, so that you are only with a fixed group in the retreat and can grow together more. I immediately felt the positive, loving energy of the Healing Center from the first minute. I felt completely comfortable from the start and was overjoyed. My expectations were totally exceeded. 1. I suggest that Wonderland should clearly state that this retreat is very “hands off” when it comes to facilitation. I was greeted at check-in, but didn’t interact much with the staff unless I had a question until check-out.

    2. It was nice to have various yoga instructors, but since none of them lived on site and there were so many, it was difficult to connect with any of them. I was surprised by the number of instructors, and I had a different one for each class. However, it was nice that they all had their own speciality classes.

    3. Most pictures of Wonderland show yoga being practiced in a beautiful indoor space. I chose this retreat over others in Thailand because of this indoor space in the pictures (I wanted to do yoga indoors away from the heat and insects). However, when I arrived, that room was under renovation (with loud construction) and most classes were held outside. This information should have been on the website for guests to consider before booking.

    4. I found out that we were all paying high season prices during low season in Thailand. Wonderland should make their prices public (they couldn’t even tell me at the resort). Overall, I loved my time at Wonderland. The facility is beautiful, set in the jungle with mountains and a stream on the property. The facilities are new and well-maintained, so even in a dorm, it feels like you’re getting your money’s worth. The food was amazing – as most reviews mention. Some people were there just for the food! The staff was friendly and helpful. The steam room was great, and the wifi was reliable for those needing to work. I felt very relaxed and will definitely recommend it to others!

The location. It was pretty close to the highway, so you could really feel the exhaust fumes. The nearest beach is also quite far away; it’s an adventure to walk there. The so-called secret beach turned out to be pretty flat and littered.

Point number 2. The loud music or constant noise in the restaurant. Maybe that’s what trendy young people need these days. But it didn’t really create a relaxing retreat vibe. Each of the 6 teachers had their own unique style and helped me improve with their tips. I was most impressed by Alon. His physically focused, scientific approach gave yoga a grounding depth it deserved. Plus, the food was extremely varied and healthy.

I strongly recommend everyone to stay at Wonderland. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for an intense 7-hour yoga and meditation program or just want to relax by the pool. It’s perfect for all yoga levels, from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners. The food is amazing with plenty to choose from at the buffet. The staff, especially the ladies at the reception, are super pleasant and helpful. Wonderland is filled with love and positive energy, surrounded by green trees, a little river, and plenty of spots to meditate like hammocks and little shalas. The pool is nice too.

I was surprised that Wonderland is not just for “hippies.” During my 30-day stay, I met super nice and pleasant educated people. The location is a hidden gem a bit out of town, but a taxi ride to town is just between $3-4, which you can split with others to save money. The villas for two are beautiful, but the shared dorm accommodation is also clean and comfortable with plenty of cold water in the fridge. I loved that you can refill your bottle with fresh cold water at every corner in Wonderland.

They provide everything you need for yoga, such as mats, blocks, belts, and cushions, as well as for meditation. I can 100% recommend Wonderland and will definitely be going back soon.

The food exceeded my expectations, especially the variety! I liked the dorm rooms, but next time I’d prefer a separate room. After an experience like that, privacy is key 🙂 I appreciated them picking me up from my hostel instead of the port and taking me to the currency exchange before dropping me off at the pier.

There’s absolutely nothing not to like! This place is the most incredible I’ve ever been to! Me and my two siblings have been to yoga retreats all over the world, and this one is definitely the best and most affordable. The food is top-notch, and they don’t skimp on flavor even though it’s vegan. The property is spotless, and the rooms are cozy. The best part is the welcoming and sweet family who owns the place. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I didn’t care for the occasional kids running around and screaming, and the kitchen noise in the meditation room. Thankfully, they weren’t a regular thing! I absolutely loved how comfortable I felt traveling alone. The food, yoga, and pilates classes were all excellent. The staff was incredibly polite, helpful, and spoke great English. And those massages? Absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Avocado was missing from the vegan buffets, which was a disappointment. I loved participating in the sound healing, inner dance, and yin yoga sessions with Melissa. The pool and herbal sauna were fantastic. The food was delicious! The dorm beds were cozy. They keep the site well-maintained and everything is spotless. It’s a great deal for the price.

I did not have the experience I was expecting at Wonderland. The reception staff and instructors did not meet my expectations. The staff positioned themselves above the guests and the instructors formed a clique, not being welcoming at all. Even at mealtimes, they separated themselves. The reception staff were blasé and unhelpful. Because of the staff attitudes and the atmosphere, my experience at Wonderland felt more like an 18-30s resort rather than the quiet, restful place I was promised. While the resort is located in a beautiful jungle, it looks like a building site in some areas. However, the accommodation, facilities, and food were excellent.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Maybe the massage area could be a little more comfortable, but the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had! I’ve had a lot of massages, haha. Everything was awesome! This quiet and peaceful place is surrounded by palm trees in the middle of the island, away from reality, with open-minded people. And the best part is the food – it’s all plant-based and delicious! I miss it already. If you’re a foodie and yogi like me, you have to go there and don’t forget to try the coconut balls. I stayed in a dorm with more beds than expected, but it wasn’t a big problem. My stay at wonderland took me through a rollercoaster of emotions. I felt tired, overwhelmed, and unsure at times, but also calm, reflective, happy, and peaceful. It’s all about getting to know yourself better and figuring out what you truly want and need from life. The staff, from the instructors to the reception, were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, I had to go to the hospital during my stay, but even there, the staff at wonderland took great care of me, visiting me at least twice a day. As soon as I left on the ferry, I felt a longing to go back, and I know I will visit again soon.

The breakfast only starts at 8, which is not ideal because the Yoga classes also start at 8. By the time the first class finishes at 9:30 and the second class starts at 10, there’s not much time to enjoy the amazing breakfast buffet unless you’re lucky and the teacher finishes on time (which rarely happens). If you’re really into yoga classes (and not meditation or finding your inner peace ;-)), this might not be the perfect place for you. You should book elsewhere if you’re looking for a workout.
The vegan food was incredibly delicious and perfect for Europeans not accustomed to spicy Thai cuisine 😉
The dorm was good and quite spacious, but be cautious when booking a 4-bed luxury dorm. We booked one, but didn’t get it. We ended up in a 6-bed dorm with only 4 people most of the time, but still…
The pool and relaxing areas with hammocks are beautiful, and the oil massage I tried was fantastic!
I really enjoyed the evening lectures and discussions where we met many nice people from all around the world. The staff was also very friendly.

The breakfast could be a bit more varied, they served the same thing every day. Same with the fruits.

As I was walking around the resort, they told me I had a massage included – but I ended up having to pay 600 baht for it afterwards. I also didn’t need the transfer to the pier, so I asked if they could take me to the beach instead as a one-time thing. Unfortunately, they couldn’t do it. Not very flexible and it didn’t end well.

The resort is located in a very beautiful and quiet area. The staff was very nice, except for one person, but there’s always one. The food was always delicious. The teachers were very kind and attentive.

But, oh my goodness, the instructors at Wonderland are just top-notch! They offer such a diverse range of meditations and yoga styles that anyone can find something they enjoy. And don’t even get me started on the food – it was absolutely amazing! I felt like I was in vegan paradise. The staff were super friendly and always willing to help. I absolutely loved everything about this place! The only thing to note is that breakfast starts at 8am, which coincides with the first yoga class. So if you do the 8am yoga class, you’ll have to wait until after (9:30am) for breakfast. But don’t worry, there are always bananas available for a pre-yoga snack, and you can also get a takeaway box for food at meal times.

But honestly, I’m really reaching here for something to complain about because everything else was just fantastic! The food was amazing – so plentiful, delicious, and varied. The staff were incredibly kind and caring, the other guests were wonderful people, and I made some lifelong friends.

There were plenty of classes to choose from, with 2-3 yoga classes each day, 1-2 meditation classes, and special sessions like lectures and inner healing therapies. It’s more than just a yoga retreat!

The atmosphere was so relaxed, with no set itinerary so you could do as many or as few classes as you liked. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with good air con and big bathrooms. The resort itself was beautiful, with an amazing pool, steam room, and plenty of chill out areas with hammocks – perfect for relaxing with the sound of the nearby river.

And let’s not forget about the extras – a free smoothie or coconut every day, unlimited tea and coffee (including fresh coffee made to your liking), and even cacao and coconut milk coffee!

The fact that so many people extended their stay or at least thought about it just goes to show how incredible this place is. I’ll definitely be back one day.

The program was jam-packed with yoga, meditation, pilates, and special sessions from 8am to 8pm. You leave with great experiences, insights, and inspirations. The activities are diverse, the vegan food is fantastic, the staff is warm and helpful – big shoutout to the ladies 🙂 – and the teachers and therapists are top-notch.

I spontaneously decided to do the detox program and have been feeling full of energy ever since. My well-being has gone from a 1 to a 10. As an extra, I had a spiritual counseling session with Oxana. She was incredibly gifted and empathetic, answering long-standing questions and supporting my intuition. Thanks to her, I was able to fully engage in the detox program and work through old patterns and beliefs for healing.

I felt pretty scared in my room at night because of the animal noises, even though there aren’t any dangerous animals around. It was definitely a bit spooky. Next time, I’ll probably opt for the dorm instead. Plus, the private room didn’t really seem worth the price. The shower was always acting up, with water that was sometimes cold or not running at all. And sometimes it was even dirty!
I didn’t really find the other activities besides yoga and meditation all that interesting. And even though the food was amazing, as a non-vegan, I didn’t find it very satisfying. It would’ve been nice to have more power yoga classes.

The schedule was packed, the food was delicious, the people were friendly, and the whole vibe with hammocks, pool, and nature was awesome. I can’t book a private villa in advance, but it’s relaxed and flexible. There are a lot of single travelers, which is good. There are also fewer couples and no children, which is great. The standard of yoga was very impressive, even though this is a fairly remote place. All the instructors, including visiting ones like Catherine, Nancy, and Jess, were experienced teachers and not just travelers passing through. I was most impressed by that. The food was good quality and vegan. The rooms were clean, but lacked some things like bedside lamps or more places to hang clothes. Overall, it was great. The only thing is you can’t choose your room. I was willing to pay more for a villa for privacy, but I was told upgrades are random and based on availability after arrival. Oh well, I had a quick yoga meditation weekend to escape corporate life, so I’m good! You can’t have everything you want in life, can you? By the way, one good thing: Despite being in the jungle, there are little to no mosquitoes!

It was my first time at a yoga retreat and it was really amazing! The people, the atmosphere, the facilities, the food… Everything was perfect and I felt physically better than ever before during that week.

They offer multiple classes every day that you CAN attend. The teachers are all well trained and I enjoyed going to every class. The facility is still new and the whole project is only about a year and a half old, so everything is still pretty new and in good condition (rooms, restaurant, pool, etc.).

But the absolute best part was the food!!! Three times a day they have a vegan buffet that is so delicious. It was just incredible.

I would come back anytime and I highly recommend WHC to everyone.

I stayed in the dorm and found the bed pretty hard and uncomfortable, but apparently that’s common in Thailand. There was also no storage or room to organize clothes or your bag, so all four people in the room had their things splayed out on the floor. Hopefully, there’s something to change this. Oh my goodness, let’s talk about the food. I’m not vegan but let me tell you, the food was spectacular. I wanted to try everything in the buffet at every meal. The steam sauna was the best way to start and end my day. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The teachers each brought something special and different every day. There was plenty of variety in classes and special events daily. I had such a lovely time.

In the shared dorm, we could’ve used small shelves or boxes by each bed for valuables. I was on the top bunk and always had water nearby because I need to drink during the night. There was a shortage of hooks in both the room and bathroom. However, the room was cleaned daily and was very comfortable. I absolutely adored the positive, nurturing atmosphere at Wonderland. It was the perfect place to heal and grow spiritually and emotionally. And let’s talk about the food! As a vegan, I was in heaven with the amazing daily food choices that fed not only my body but my soul as well. The staff were considerate and quick to help with any requests, but never intrusive. I had a fantastic stay! When I reunited with my husband after the retreat, he said I was positively glowing. Thank you!

I have no complaints at all, but it would be great to have shelves for the top bunks in the dorms to keep your things secure at night.

I can’t wait to come back, thank you so much! Wonderland truly lives up to its name. I instantly felt at home and welcomed as soon as I arrived. The yoga shalas are fully equipped, the restaurant is cozy with beautiful decor, and the food is absolutely delicious. The pool is always clean and the perfect temperature. The steam room is a fantastic experience with different herbal oils each day. The massages and treatments are a wonderful addition to the yoga classes.

The variety of yoga classes offered catered to different levels and styles. It would have been nice to have some more advanced classes, but the ones I attended really helped me progress. Special thanks to Ewa and Connie for their excellent teaching.

Staying in the dorm exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and the shower worked perfectly. I met fantastic people who were all looking for a relaxing time, making it a perfect experience for me!

Wonderland has thoughtfully designed a yoga retreat center. The space is inviting whether you want to mingle or unwind on your own. If you’re considering a short 3-night retreat, be sure to browse their activities list on the website for a fulfilling experience. The food is fantastic, offering a delicious mix of local Thai dishes and vegan options. While the location is a bit away from the beach, I personally enjoyed that aspect.

I’m sorry to say, but some of the local ladies at the reception need to find another job. They looked bored and unfriendly, unlike the rest of the amazing staff. They are very forgetful and don’t seem to care much about customers. This place is fantastic! Located in a quiet part of the island, the facilities are spotless. The community here is amazing, helpful, relaxed, and radiates a certain warmth and good atmosphere. This place has something magical about it. The classes offer a variety of options, so everyone can find a yoga style that suits them personally. I found the yoga classes by Ewa, Naama, Nancy, and Alon to be particularly appealing. Pilates with Jess is just fantastic and so much fun! The massages, Reiki treatments, and meditations are a dream. I even completed a 12-day detox program without eating! The support from Chou and especially Gonen was great and really kept me motivated. Not only did I quit smoking and detoxify my body and mind, but I also lost 8kg. If you want to do something good for your health, find some peace, and have a wonderful time, this is the place for you. I will definitely be back! The yoga was a bit scarce – only 2 classes per day. I would have liked more variety. But the focus is on meditation and finding oneself, I claim.

The evening events weren’t my thing. I arrived without my phone, as I lost it in Bangkok. The wonderful receptionist got me a watch (!!!) and everyone was so helpful and loving, which translated into the classes and the food, and then onto the participants. We quickly got into conversations. The meditation classes were amazing.

Wonderland truly is a magical place that takes you on an emotional, physical, and spiritual rollercoaster. My partner and I had never done yoga before the retreat, but we quickly became hooked. The amazing staff and teachers helped us improve our posture, strength, and flexibility in just a week. The variety and quality of classes were top-notch, especially the Hatha and Alignment classes we enjoyed the most.

Let’s talk about the food – wow! We aren’t vegans or vegetarians, but the food was absolutely incredible. The daily changing variety of cuisines, fresh salads, fruits, and shakes were so healthy and delicious that we’ve been inspired to eat less meat and dairy since leaving the retreat.

Now onto the extras – Reiki and Thai & Oil massages were all new experiences for us and were truly amazing. Melody was fantastic! And don’t get me started on the accommodations and facilities. Coming from staying in hostels, our 4-bed dorm felt like pure luxury. The comfy beds, daily cleaning, and spacious room were just heaven. The pool and other facilities were great too, never too crowded.

I don’t usually write such long reviews, but Wonderland deserves it. It truly was a life-changing experience for us, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

It’s located about 5 km from the beach. You can rent bikes and scooters there, or order a taxi driver to take you on excursions. It costs about 20€ for around 3 hours.
The advantage of being located outside is the idyllic peace of a jungle. The sounds of animals at night are amazing. Also, sleeping is very peaceful since there are no cars to disturb you at night.

The dedicated healers and yoga teachers were the highlight for me. The detox program was well-organized, so I felt comfortable right away. The variety of yoga classes offered, from sweaty Ashtanga to relaxing Yin Yoga, was perfectly balanced. The healers at this center are true experts in their field. I couldn’t eat while on holiday, but being able to fast for nearly 6 days made me feel empowered.

I loved the food! The yoga and meditation classes were fantastic. And let me tell you, that EFT treatment with Ali really did wonders for me.

I spent 14 wonderful days at Wonderland on their Yoga Retreat package. The resort, only 6 months old, is even more beautiful in person than in the promotional materials. My room had a private pool view and a hammock on the balcony. The staff, especially Ham and Aly, were fantastic and the Vegan food was delicious and varied. Though I’m not a Vegan or Vegetarian, I never felt the need to eat elsewhere.

The Yoga and meditation classes offered a wide range of options and all the teachers were excellent. I came to improve my practice and learned so much. The Thai masseuse really worked my muscles and helped me stretch in ways I never thought possible. Thank you, Wonderland, for an amazing retreat. I hope to come back with my family someday.

    Namasté,
    Alice in Wonderland

The resort is a bit far from the pier and beaches. The steam room is a bit secluded and needs more lighting, especially at night when it gets scary. This place is truly a wonderland—serene and beautiful. I met some amazing people there and made so many like-minded friends from all over the world. We explored the island together, and it’s a beautiful place.

You should definitely try Victoria and Nancy’s yoga classes. The rooms are very clean and nice, and the pool and restaurant are beautiful and cozy. All the instructors and staff are very kind and supportive, taking care of all your needs. I absolutely loved their food—it’s the best vegan food I’ve ever had. Even though I was on a detox for four days, I did get to try the food on my last day. Their massages are also of very high standard, and I thoroughly enjoyed them.

If you can, get your reiki treatment with Eyal. He is one of the calmest and most spiritual people I’ve ever met. Wonderland truly changed me—I fell in love with my body and skin after the detox. I understood the true power of just being and not letting anything external disturb the peace of my mind. I was really sad to leave, as this place brings a strange sense of peace and happiness. I am definitely going back.

The only potential downside had nothing to do with the retreat itself – it was just a bit far from the beach and shops. But making friends was easy, especially with those who had scooters to take you around. Taxis were also convenient, and the retreat staff were willing to give you a ride if they had some free time. Everything exceeded my expectations – plenty of yoga classes to choose from, a clean and lovely room, surprisingly delicious vegan food (I was a bit nervous since I usually eat meat, but it was amazing). What I loved most were the people – lots of solo travelers eager to chat and hang out, as well as the wonderful Israeli staff. You all are fantastic! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Wonderland amazed me. I planned for a 3-night stay but ended up extending. The food here is incredible, some of the best vegan dishes I’ve ever tasted. The resort is secluded from the island’s hustle and bustle, making it a peaceful retreat. You can easily access beautiful beaches and stunning waterfall trails nearby. Every day, they offer a variety of yoga and meditation programs, along with various treatments, all led by fantastic instructors. The staff here are welcoming and super helpful. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the pool is a great spot to unwind. I highly recommend this place for relaxation and rejuvenation – I will definitely be returning.

I wish the resort was closer to the beach for day trips, but they did provide rides into town when asked, which was so helpful! The accommodations were top-notch! The room was clean and comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, and they cleaned the room daily and gave us new towels whenever we needed. It was fantastic.

I had to leave because Ali’s meditation was amazing! Sky, Veronica, Victoria, and Leon, all the yoga instructors, brought unique and powerful aspects to their classes. The variety of yoga was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Don’t miss out on booking this – you won’t regret it!

I love this place with no negatives for me. It’s a little bit away from the town of Thong Sala, but that’s just what I was looking for – some peace and quiet. You can easily rent a motorbike if you want to get around, and the staff is super helpful if you need anything. The classes, the food, the staff, the pool, the atmosphere, the massages… everything was amazing and I highly recommend it!

I wish I had rented a bike and explored more of the island, especially the beaches, and participated in the events. But luckily, Hiem helped me run errands when I needed and the community members kindly gave me a ride to various events. My week at Wonderland was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxed. Even though I was by myself, I never felt lonely because of the kindness and generosity shown by the staff and community. During my stay in the low season, I had my own dorm room most of the time which made the retreat incredibly affordable. The yoga classes were tough, but so rewarding in improving my fitness and technique. The included treatments were top-notch and added a touch of luxury to my stay. I loved relaxing by the pool and chilling in the beautifully air-conditioned room between classes. And don’t even get me started on the food and free juice – they were definitely the highlights of my stay! Wonderland gave me everything I needed and more to break up my 5 months of backpacking.
