The rooms at the resort were great, but the neighbors could get noisy since the sound really travels in this beautiful location. The place had a very social vibe, the food was outstanding, and they offered a good variety of classes for everyone. We really enjoyed the steam room and cold plunge. We also rented a scooter from the resort and explored the island. The check-in and checkout process was smooth, and they even offered pickup and drop-off to the ferry terminal. There were lots of guests from different nationalities, including singles, couples, and groups. The staff did a great job of keeping everything clean, and they made sure to send plenty of water to our rooms.

The bed in the shared room is hard, and it would be nice to have curtains for separation. Cockroaches were regularly found in the bathroom. It’s a pleasant place in a quiet location, perfect for unwinding. There’s a variety of courses, good food, positive vibes, and friendly people.

The classes were packed, which wasn’t very pleasant. You ended up bumping into people left and right due to the overcrowding. I decided to skip some classes and have some alone time to relax and hopefully have a better experience. Some of the teachers were not so great, like Nadja. She had a bad attitude, never said hello, got defensive when asked questions, and kept talking about some other retreat that she thought was better. It was odd because we were all there for the same reason. She even spent a lot of time outside smoking cigarettes instead of teaching. That didn’t sit well with me. On the bright side, I liked the location and the food. The facilities were nice, except for the constant smell of sewage around the houses. It was hard to enjoy the tranquility with that stench in the air.

The location feels like the edge of the world – it’s truly amazing. However, it can be a bit challenging at times because the nearest village is quite far away. You’ll need to take a taxi (unless you can drive a scooter), and taxis are pretty expensive, just like on all Thai islands.

When booking, I recommend choosing a private accommodation. The dorms are usually crowded with 5-6 people sharing a small space, and the main area is always full. So, if you want some privacy, a private room is the way to go. This might just be the best retreat ever! Nestled in the lush forest, Wonderland offers top-notch facilities – always clean and super comfortable. This includes an incredible pool, sauna, and spa. And let’s not forget the food – it’s absolutely delicious vegan fare.

The instructors are top-notch, offering various levels and styles of yoga and meditation. The place truly lives up to its name, serving as a Wonderland and a healing sanctuary for those seeking peace, connection, and serenity.

If you stay longer than a week, the workshops might start to repeat a bit. It would be awesome if they made some tiny changes to the schedule or added something slightly different. You can always do the workshops you really liked again, or just relax and skip some. Originally, I booked 7 days at Wonderland but ended up staying 4 more days. It’s such a magical place where you can do up to 6 workshops a day, enjoy the pool and sauna, and meet some truly amazing people. The instructors are all fantastic, with some of them even being inspiring. I opted for a private room, which was great – they cleaned it every day and made sure I had enough water. The food is absolutely delicious, I even had some of the best falafel here! I really wish I could have stayed longer, but I will definitely come back.

The resort filled up quickly by the end of my stay. The yoga classes became overcrowded, making it hard to move without bumping into someone. We even ran out of mats and pillows a few times. People love coming back to this place for a reason!

I’m a beginner in yoga, but I never felt lost thanks to the different teachers offering pose variations for everyone. My week there was amazing and I learned a lot about yoga and myself.

I enjoyed the variety of classes offered throughout the day, from yoga to meditation to lectures.

I stayed in a dorm that was impeccably clean and loved it.

The food was delicious every day, always something to look forward to for dinner.

There were plenty of communal areas to socialize or relax alone.

I appreciated the convenient water refill stations, no need to buy plastic bottles.

The meal schedule. You can have breakfast and lunch from 9 to 1 pm and dinner is from 6 to 8 pm. I would suggest extending the schedule by an hour in both cases. I would also add an extra class between 12 and 3 pm, as there used to be nothing during that time. There is a great variety of classes, such as aromatherapy, sound healing, Vipassana meditation, loving-kindness meditation, Hatha yoga, and more. The food was delicious. The decoration is beautiful and everything is well-thought-out. The teachers are very professional. They clean the rooms every day.

It’s so busy and crowded here, more like a resort with classes instead of a retreat. The atmosphere isn’t very friendly and welcoming, and your yoga practice won’t really get any better since the teachers here don’t offer much feedback or guidance. But hey, the classes are still pretty fun. It would be nice if the teachers and staff were a bit warmer and friendlier, though. On the bright side, there’s great food, tons of classes every day, and the whole place is absolutely gorgeous!

I had an issue with the general quality of the yoga classes. Out of the 14 classes I took, only 3 were taught by top notch instructors. Most instructors would bring people into a pose but not tell them how to be in a pose. There were few anatomical cueing and almost no breath work. It was hard to be present. I wish there had been more attention to students, but the instructors would demo the pose and hold it the entire time themselves. As a certified yoga instructor, I felt that it lacked engagement and energy. The only time I received an assist the whole week was when a teacher touched students without asking for permission. Some reviews call the classes beginner style, but beginner classes actually require more cues than intermediate ones to ensure the pose is being accurately maintained. I wish that Wonderland had a higher bar for the quality of classes offered, with instructors like Amber or Raj teaching more often. Ewa’s Reiki session was worth every penny. The food was great. Raj’s Kundalini and Amber’s Flow were impeccable. I liked David’s Hatha stretch and Nadja’s meditation. All specials were a must-do. I left having a great spiritual experience. The staff was awesome and the sauna was great.

Overall, I really enjoyed the retreat and would do it again. The meditations and specials alone would be worth it. I miss the pool!

It was hard to walk anywhere, but you could if you really wanted to. It would’ve been a bit of a stretch though. I wish the retreat had a shuttle to the town that ran at least once a day for shopping and stuff.

Unfortunately, the healing class was not done very well by one instructor. I think she would be better as a mindfulness coach instead of a yoga/pilates instructor. I was disappointed because there was no harmony in the class and the pilates flow sequence was way off. We even started with pilates 100s before anything else, and not a single mention of breath.

In addition, myself and another girl in my dorm ended up getting food poisoning from dinner, which was a real downer. But it looks like it was only the two of us who got sick. Despite that, the place is really nice and relaxing. Everyone was friendly and you get to meet a lot of people.

None of the three instructors I wanted to review are actually on the list. The other two instructors did a great job and had a well-thought-out class structure. I enjoyed the challenge in the flow, but overall, this is more like Yoga for beginners.

I noticed that most of the attendees at the yoga retreat were very young and I didn’t find it particularly friendly, which is unusual for a yoga retreat. The staff and instructors were fantastic, but I wonder how it would have been if I was a beginner since most classes were at an intermediate level or higher. If you’ve never done yoga before, this might not be the place for you. There are many classes and activities every day that you can choose to join or not. The facilities are well taken care of and the setting is beautiful. There is a wide range of classes offered. The room was very nice. Overall, it’s a really special place.

I noticed some things missing in the dorm: each bed didn’t have a plug or reading light, and the metal bunk beds were making a lot of noise. So, if you moved, you risked waking up the person underneath you. However, everything else was perfect. The classes were really good. You get a schedule with 1 morning meditation and 2 morning yoga classes. In the afternoon, there is 1 more meditation class and 1 more yoga class. You can choose how you manage your days. There is always a break between 11:30 and 15:00 with no classes where you can enjoy the pool, hammam, or go for a scooter/bike ride. Food is served from 9-13:00 and 18:00-20:00, with nothing in between. But you can order a smoothie or go to a restaurant nearby. The food is vegan and good, the hammam is amazing, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had an amazing stay and can only recommend it.

In the advanced meditation class, a lot of us went without knowing how to meditate, and learning was very difficult there. We didn’t attend the 7 am meditation because it wasn’t guided and didn’t have any music or anything. The individual rooms are very nice and spacious. The accommodations and common areas are decorated very well with a lot of detail. There are classes at different times and workshops after dinner.

The meditation sessions take some getting used to when you’re used to meditating for max. 25 minutes in daily life. They can be quite long in the retreat, so it’s always a challenge not to fall asleep. Unfortunately, I was sick for the first two days, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to heal. They were considerate of me and I was able to move to a private room at short notice. I think I’ve never gotten healthy again so quickly. The food was simply delicious and always fresh! The yoga sessions were very nice, I could really let go. But due to my illness, I could only attend 2 classes. There’s definitely a huge selection of yoga classes and I’m sure there’s something for everyone 🙂
The place in general is simply magical. There are so many amazing people coming together and you feel comfortable right from the first moment!

The resort is not located by the beach, but it costs about 150-200 per person to take a taxi there. (However, they do offer free beach trips once a week or so.) That’s the only downside I can think of! I absolutely loved everything else about it!

The atmosphere at the resort is healing, relaxed, and loving. It was so easy to de-stress there! Everyone, from the reception staff to the restaurant workers, cleaners, masseuses, most of the teachers, and other guests, was extremely friendly. I met so many wonderful people during my stay and have kept in touch with them since then.

I stayed in a dorm for 4 people and everyone was very respectful. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean, and the food was delicious! I also really enjoyed the variety of workshops, yoga and meditation classes offered. Plus, there were options to go to the beach or join guided hikes to waterfalls.

I only stayed for a week, but I would have loved to stay longer!

Unfortunately, someone stole 5000 Baht from my always locked private room. At first, I thought maybe I misplaced it, but when I found out three other guests had money stolen too, I felt unsafe. I told the reception, and they said they would inform the boss. I wanted to recommend this place to friends, but after this experience, I don’t think it’s safe. They need to get staff who won’t steal from guests. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic.

I recommend having a greater variety of breakfast choices instead of repeating the same food every week. The retreat offers a wide range of different courses including yoga, meditation, energy work, and more. It was the best retreat experience I’ve ever had. We had to escape through the window of the dormitory at 4am due to flooding, and a lot of my clothes ended up ruined. I got sick with either a “virus” or food poisoning and was bedridden for three days. I couldn’t eat anything. The zen atmosphere, friendly people, and outdoor activities are enjoyable, though it’s a shame they’re only available twice a week.

The breakfast is decent, but it could start earlier than 9am for those who prefer an earlier meal. The dinner dishes are excellent and vary each day. The yoga lessons and meditation sessions they offer are also worth trying out.

Most yoga classes focus on pure asana or fitness, even if they’re supposed to be Level 1. I just prefer other types of yoga. Unfortunately, Wonderland didn’t offer Sound healing, Wim Hof, or Mantra Chanting workshops that I would have loved to attend. Make sure to check the schedule before coming! Wonderland is a beautiful place to be!

I had a great time and now feel purified, relaxed, and connected to my inner peace. I enjoyed the daily Vipassana Meditations with Yaron in the morning, the best way to start your day. I also loved the Kundalini Hatha classes with Raj for his deep knowledge and wisdom. The Yin Yoga and Aromaterapia workshop with Liz was fantastic. The women’s circle with Amor and classes with Stephanie were also very good.

The food is incredibly delicious. Enjoy your time in paradise!

I felt very comfortable in Wonderland. The people were very nice, the food is excellent. It was also clean and the yoga classes were great. Personally, Yin Yoga wasn’t a big challenge for me, but the classes are suitable for beginners. I also extended my stay because I felt comfortable, it was no problem, the staff are very nice. The location is a bit hard to reach, if you have a scooter it’s easier, otherwise, you can order a taxi from the hotel.

We spent four days there and on the last night, we caught the worst stomach virus. We were stuck in bed for three days with a fever, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. It felt like a waste of money and our health. We feel cheated because we paid to feel better, not worse. It’s tough to leave a bad review, but after feeling so terrible, I have to warn others. I arrived in October for an eight day retreat. The area was beautiful, green and inviting, the facilities were great, the yoga teachers were very experienced, but what truly turned it into a Wonderland was the togetherness atmosphere. At the buffet restaurant, you would sit at long tables and meet like-minded people from all around the world. Conversations would become deep and quickly you would develop a sense of belonging. When I left, I had made some great new connections and was trying to figure out how to bring the benefits of Wonderland into my daily life at home.

I spent 7 nights in the dorm room at Wonderland. It’s not the best dorm I’ve stayed in, but you really only need it for sleeping, right? There are lots of classes during the day, like different types of yoga and meditation, lectures, and activities like hiking to a waterfall or taking a sunset tour. The best part is, you get to choose what you want to do. If you feel like relaxing, you can hang out at the pool, use the sauna, or get a massage.

The food is amazing! I’m usually a vegetarian, and they have a vegan buffet that was like heaven for me 😉 Everything was delicious.

People were saying they’ll probably come back every year now. And I totally agree with them.

Nothing Wonderland, located in the jungle of Ko Pha Ngan, is an amazing little oasis. The staff cleans the rooms daily and provides shampoo and bath gel. The vegan buffet is fantastic with a variety of international dishes to try. Laundry service is both economical and reliable. Throughout the day, they offer different types of meditations and yoga classes, as well as talks, movies, and fire nights. Guests can take advantage of the sauna, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, and lounging areas. Complimentary trips to hike in the jungle and visit the beach are available during the week. They also offer multiple holistic treatment modalities, including Thai Massage. This place is truly a wonderland – I highly recommend visiting.

The evening programs at Wonderland were a bit all over the place. You could easily find the schedule posted, but some of the topics were a little vague. Visiting instructors either introduced themselves and shared their experiences, or they just dove right into their presentation. I was intrigued and wanted to join in, but without more information, I didn’t want to risk an awkward exit if it wasn’t my cup of tea.

Wonderland was so great for healing, relaxation, and hanging out with like-minded people. Some days had structured classes, but other days you could just relax by the pool, have a massage, or find a cozy spot to chill. I even met a few people who loved Wonderland so much, they kept coming back for more. I stayed at the resort the whole time and didn’t feel the need to leave because the food was fantastic. The variety and freshness of the meals were top-notch, and it was a great opportunity to explore a new way of eating that I’ve carried back with me.

My only suggestion for the team is to add more details about activities like hikes and sunset tours so people know what to expect. I did both and they were amazing, but not exactly what you’d think from the names. It’s a truly magical place. In the four days I spent there, I relaxed and restored more than I would at a typical beach resort.

The schedule is packed with activities, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. There’s so much to do that even being stuck there for days due to heavy rain didn’t feel like a punishment.

The food is fantastic, even for non-vegans like me. It was all delicious and easy to survive on vegan fare.

Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the welcome. They didn’t give us any information about how things ‘work’ and we didn’t get the welcome drink or yoga consultation that were promised when we booked. I think even a quick chat about how the classes operate, what you want to get out of it, and any injuries would have made a big difference. This lack of clarity also extended to the ‘daily smoothie’ listed in the booking, which we had to negotiate for each day, making it awkward.

Aly and Lauren were fantastic instructors, giving warm welcomes and actively adapting postures and providing feedback during sessions. However, some other teachers were unfriendly, creating a cold and ego-filled atmosphere that lacked interaction and enthusiasm.

In one instance, there wasn’t enough room in classes, and I believe the site should never be overbooked so everyone can attend every session they want. It was also disappointing when a hike was canceled due to weather without any communication.

Despite these issues, the site itself was really nice, attractive, and well-maintained. The food was also excellent.

Wonderland is a great place if you want to feel safe and meet people who are on the same wavelength as you. However, it did feel like a little bubble of Westerners and I found myself missing Thai food options. The center is located about 20 minutes ride from the coast so I thought it would be up on one of those cute mountains, but turns out the grounds are flat. It’s definitely a good idea to have a scooter to explore the area.

Wonderland has a fantastic daily schedule of classes and special events that will keep you busy and introduce you to different approaches to meditation and yoga. Most of the yoga teachers were really top-notch and the food was delicious. They also offer a nice variety of treatments, but they can be a bit pricey compared to other places.

My only down moment during my time at Wonderland was when I got COVID. My first roommate was positive but still going to classes and acting normal. She didn’t tell me until she was leaving on my second day that she had COVID the whole time. I ended up getting sick five days later, after spending all night in the room with her. Wonderland’s approach is that everyone is constantly exposed, which is true, but I had gone two years without getting COVID until then. I isolated myself for five days to protect others, because that’s the right thing to do.

It would have been nice to know about my roommate’s situation so I could have moved to a private room. If you’re worried about getting sick, it might be best to book your own room at Wonderland. Despite that, my time there was amazing. I stayed for a few weeks to focus on yoga, meditation, and personal growth after going through some challenges. I went in with an open mind and was surprised by how much I learned in just three weeks.

I was new to yoga and meditation but tried everything Wonderland had to offer. The variety of classes was great, and I must have tried at least 30 new things. I enjoyed almost everything, and some of the meditation sessions really opened my eyes to new things. I also made a lot of new friends there. The staff, instructors, and facilitators were all friendly and accommodating.

I don’t know when I can go back, but I definitely will. Next time, I’ll bring my daughter so she can enjoy the pool and activities for kids. Wonderland truly met all my needs and more.

My boyfriend and I visited Wonderland for the first time in Koh Phangan, and we can’t stop talking about how great our experience was. Each yoga class lasts for an hour and a half and is suitable for all levels. I was amazed at how much my skills improved in just one week, even though I’ve been practicing yoga for years. There are a variety of yoga teachers and styles to choose from, so if you don’t like one, there are plenty of others to try. With over 3 yoga classes and meditation sessions offered daily, this place definitely exceeded our expectations. My boyfriend, who only came because I love yoga, even managed to do handstands by the end of the week! The vegan buffet served for brunch and dinner was delicious, satisfying, and a nice break from the usual Thai cuisine. Thanks to the dorms and communal dining areas, we ended up making some great friends that we hung out with for the rest of our time in Koh Phangan. The meditation and yoga sessions are of high quality and the food is incredibly fresh and tasty. This place is perfect for those who prefer to do more than just lounge on sunbeds all day, although that is certainly an option at Wonderland as well. If you’re new to meditation or yoga retreats, the Wonderland retreat is a great starting point as it is not a holistic experience. The schedule is easy to follow with morning classes starting at 8 am, unlike other retreats that begin at 5 or 6 am. The staff is friendly and you can easily explore different parts of Koh Phangan island from Wonderland. The rooms are clean, good quality (3-star), and come with air conditioning.

The 6-bed dorms are okay but not luxurious. The beds wobble and squeak; there is only the main room light, so you easily disturb each other; there are no closets, so clothes always end up on the floor in backpacks; bed curtains would be nice for some privacy, a shelf by the bed would also be useful. In the first week, I didn’t care much about all of this because everything else was great, but unfortunately, in my second week, Wonderland became very crowded… we squeezed over 40 people into the Shala, which definitely wasn’t fun anymore. If you were late, you couldn’t participate. The relaxed, family atmosphere was lost during meals. Waiting in line, not getting any food, drinks running out late at night, no towels available, etc… It’s such a shame, the first week was truly amazing… The peaceful jungle location, beautifully landscaped, diverse weekly schedule> great for trying new things, a casual and friendly atmosphere, a very diverse crowd, the steam sauna, everything well-maintained and clean, the buffet is really great.

I spent 1 week in Wonderland and it exceeded all my expectations. The range of classes was huge, with many of them being truly life changing like ReBirthing and Kundalini Yoga. The instructors had a grounded presence and were very authentic.

Whatever your reason for coming, you’ll find it in Wonderland. You can connect with like-minded people or choose to experience solitude and journal your healing journey. The vegan food was seriously the best I’ve ever had – delicious and healthy. And the playlist in the dining area was so addictive.

The service at reception and in the kitchen was incredibly friendly. The people who run this place are spectacular and warm-hearted. I’ll definitely be coming back to Wonderland!

I thought a lot of the yoga classes were too basic and didn’t cater enough to those at an intermediate level. I would have liked a more challenging yoga workout. Despite that, I would still give it 5 stars because the room and facilities were excellent. The steam room and plunge pool were a nice touch. The staff were really accommodating and helpful, and there was plenty of bottled water available. As someone who usually eats meat, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food was. This retreat is perfect for anyone looking to try a “cleaner” holiday or who is new to yoga.

Some of the bedding had stains because it was old. When I asked the reception staff about the content in the classes, they didn’t know much. The television didn’t work for my entire stay. Wonderland has a great vibe and energy overall. The teachers are amazing and the staff is very friendly. The food is top quality. I hope the place can only get better with time and a few tweaks.

The yoga class level depends on the participants, so it mainly attracts beginners. It’s not really ‘advanced’. It would be nice if they added a class for intermediate yogis. The food at Wonderland was incredible. They offered a delicious vegan buffet for every meal. I can’t even put into words how amazing the food was. Plus, you get a free shake or coconut every day that are just fantastic. They also have unlimited coffee with almond or coconut milk, and a self-serve tea station. The camp is gorgeous and everyone has such positive energy. Overall, it was a great experience. I took away a lot from the meditation classes. The classes they offer are top-notch. I can’t praise it enough, I just love it.

My time at Wonderland completely transformed me. People of all backgrounds and experiences come here for different reasons. Wonderland offers a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere that fosters deep healing. I was able to let go of a lot of things and reflect on my limiting beliefs. The food here is amazing (which was a big reason I came and it definitely lived up to the hype!) The sauna and cold plunge pool were highlights for me. There are so many classes to choose from, with different yoga styles, meditation practices, and breath work approaches. I loved it here so much that I extended my stay. Koh Phangan is truly a magical paradise. After spending two weeks at Wonderland, I’ve decided to return in three weeks to start my Yoga Teacher Training.

The only disappointment was the accommodation. It’s extremely basic, with no shelf near the bed or any place to store things. The sink leaked, the shower was awful, and the shower holder was broken. Both toilets need hand soap. Still, I would come back right away because everything else was top-notch. I didn’t really feel like dancing, so the evening options didn’t catch my interest. I would’ve preferred a Yin Yoga class or extra meditation at 8pm instead of something more energetic, but it seemed like others enjoyed it. This retreat exceeded my expectations – I was skeptical at first. I’ve been practicing yoga for a while, but had never been on a retreat. It all fell into place after a work trip and I’m so happy I took a chance on this place. From the moment I got there (they even brought me a welcome drink while checking in), I felt at ease. Meeting people from all over the world during meals was a great experience, but it was also nice to relax in a hammock with a good book or write in my journal by the pool in between scheduled classes or activities. Not every yoga style or teacher was my favorite, but it was fantastic to try new things like Aerial Yoga (loved it) and Laughter Yoga (weird, but glad I gave it a shot). The location was perfect – private yet close to beautiful hikes to waterfalls and stunning mountain views. The dorm rooms were cozy and the beds surprisingly comfy. I highly recommend a Thai massage – wish I had done it every day. Every minute was enjoyable and it was so fitting that it started raining the moment I left. Getting to Koh Phangan might be a bit tricky with flights, ferries, and buses, but if I have the chance, I’ll definitely go back. Great job, Wonderland team!

I was expecting a yoga retreat but that’s clearly not the case. It’s more like a hotel that offers yoga classes. I was extremely surprised to see that the classes started at 8am, which I consider late for a yoga retreat.

The classes were really not what I was expecting. They were mostly very basic and I’m disappointed that I couldn’t improve my practice.

I think they should update the instructors list, because I really enjoyed Selina’s Yin Yoga and Chakra Yoga classes. Plus, the instructor who taught Kundalini yoga on Wednesday, December 4th, was fantastic.

Wonderland truly amazes me with all it has to offer. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, there are plenty of options like a beautiful pool, sauna, massages, delicious vegan food, coconuts, tranquil surroundings, yin yoga, and meditation. I highly recommend staying for at least a week to fully experience everything. It’s so hard to leave this place!

For those who prefer a more active holiday, there are bicycles and scooters available to explore the island, visit gorgeous beaches, or simply enjoy nature. You can also go snorkeling by KohMa. I even tried some Ashtanga classes outside of Wonderland, but they offer different yoga styles every day for all levels.

If you want to delve deeper into your practice, I loved the ice bath pranayama classes that focused on breathing techniques. The Inner Walk was the ultimate experience for me. It opened my eyes and taught me things I never knew. It’s a technique that has truly helped me navigate everyday life in this world. Wonderland contracts with instructors all over the island, so sometimes there might be last minute schedule switches or even a cancelled class. But hey, that can happen anywhere, right?

The construction caused by the rain storms was a bit disruptive, but there’s not much we can do about that. It’s all part of the experience, so it’s good to take it in stride. The staff at Wonderland takes care of all your needs, making it a great retreat.

You can come and go at Wonderland any day for drop-in yoga, meditation, and other sessions. While you might not build the same skills over time, you get to explore different instructors, styles, and meet new people.

I stayed in a private room with one other person and it was perfect – comfy beds, bathroom, and AC. Every room comes with a hammock on the porch or balcony. We definitely made the most of ours. The rooms are clean and quiet, except on full moon nights when everyone’s out celebrating a little later.

The food at Wonderland is amazing! I specifically looked for a place with vegan options and this place blew me away.

There are little extras that make the experience even better, like daily smoothies or coconuts, Reiki and massage treatments, and other add-ons for reasonable prices. The staff can help arrange motorbike rentals, taxis, and island tours.

The facilities are beautiful, although some were temporarily out of commission due to storms when I arrived. But they were quickly fixed and back up and running.

If you’re planning a 4-day retreat, just book 8 days. And if you’re booking 8 days, consider staying even longer. It’s totally worth it.

Out of the 10 yoga classes I attended, only one was actually challenging. Most classes were pretty laid-back. I really needed hip openers, but only two classes included them. None of the teachers did vinyasa sequences. They all knew their stuff, but classes were slow-paced and more chatty. The facilities, staff, food, and schedule were all top-notch. Some yoga classes are very basic. I was hoping for some more advanced level classes.
The dorms are okay, but having 6 people is a bit much, especially with only one shower. The food is amazing, and the people are even better! I only booked for 3 nights, but ended up staying longer because I loved it so much.

There’s not much bad about this place! There are lots of insects, it’s like a jungle here. I saw two huge spiders in a girl’s bathroom. The island is right in the middle with no great views. The common area stops the music at 10pm and you can’t even play cards. And where are the pool toys? Some of the yoga classes are pretty slow-paced. The dorm lockers are too small for backpacks. But those banana pancakes are addicting! I’ll definitely come back just for them. The dorms are modern and spotless, with two bathrooms. Everywhere you look, there are hammocks and lounge beds. The sauna and ice pool are amazing. The pool is always clean and just the right temperature. There are plug sockets near every bed. The common areas are cozy and inviting. The staff is so nice and helpful, and the instructors are friendly. The food is delicious, fresh, and diverse. The classes are solid and there’s a good variety (improv contact was hilarious). The detoxing experience was eye-opening 😉 You can easily rent a scooter from the reception for a cheap price. It’s so easy to lose track of time in this peaceful sanctuary!

I didn’t find some of the workshops in the evening very exciting or appealing to me. I would’ve liked to see more variety, like including other types of yoga such as Iyengar.

I booked this yoga retreat to get out of my comfort zone and rediscover my love for yoga and meditation. I struggled with meditation in the past, so I wanted to give it another shot. Finally, I gathered the courage to book my first ever retreat and I’m so happy I chose Wonderland Healing Centre. It’s a great value for the money, with delicious vegan meals three times a day. My private room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. I even got a free massage! The center offers numerous classes throughout the day to keep you busy, but there’s also plenty of time to relax in the sun or read a book. The restaurant area is a nice place to hang out or even take a nap.

The yoga instructors were fantastic, especially Naama in Wild Organic Yoga and Camilla in Yin Yoga. I also loved the SOMA breathing yoga workshop and Yoga Nidra classes.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I ended up extending it for almost a week, even though I had initially planned to stay for just three nights.

All the atmosphere in this place is incredibly relaxed, quiet, and peaceful. You can choose from different classes all day long. It’s not only just practicing yoga or other stuff, the teacher also explains a lot so you learn a lot as well. The food was the best I’ve ever eaten in a hotel, fresh and super healthy. I wish the sea were closer. It’s a 15-minute cab ride for 150/200 baht. It would be nice if there was a free shuttle to the beach at a set time. Adding more variety to the meditation options would also be interesting. The daily program can get repetitive if you stay for a long time, but it’s not a big deal if you’re not too experienced. The energy is great, and the place is wonderful in green surroundings. You can tell that the details have been carefully considered. I stayed in the dorm for 11 nights, and it was very clean with bed sheets and towels changed daily. The staff are sweet and helpful, and the food is amazing. My only complaint about the retreat was the sleeping situation. In all the other hostels I stayed at in Thailand, the dorm beds had their own curtains for a little bit of privacy, and they were much more comfortable. I found it ironic that so much focus in the yoga and meditation work we did was on body alignment and self-care, only for us to sleep on the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever experienced.

If they changed the dorms, it would be a practically perfect experience! Despite this, I got way more than I expected out of this retreat. I met amazing people, both teachers and other participants, enjoyed incredible food, and did great yoga.

They were very beginner-friendly, but there were also more advanced participants who seemed to have a good time. The retreat offers a pool, a steam room, and the freedom to attend all classes or do your own thing. The energy there is amazing, and I had a fantastic time.

When I got there, I had to pay the rest of my bill. What I didn’t know was that they charge an extra 4% when you pay with a card. Just something to keep in mind. The Yoga classes were packed and sometimes the instructor talked a lot. The smell in my bathroom wasn’t too great. I had read some stuff about it on trip advisor, so I was ready and just dealt with it. The room I stayed in was really big with a nice view of the pool. There was a kettle and fridge with free water in the room. They offer free pick up and drop off at the ferry, which is super convenient. The food was awesome and you could grab tea, coffee, and water whenever you wanted in the dining area. They also had free water all over the place, which was a nice touch. I loved all the different yoga classes and meditation options they had. Ali and Jo’s meditation class was my favorite. Shout out to Ali & Jo for that! The massages from “Apple” Thai massage with oil were incredible. Thanks, Apple. If you want to head out for the day, they can set up a taxi to take you to the beach or Thong Sala for a fee. They also have a four-day walking meditation at Wonderland they can take you to. Wonderland is such a special spot. I made some great friends and had an awesome time, definitely worth checking out. The rooms and facilities were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is incredibly helpful and professional, always taking care of my needs with a smile.

The whole concept is perfect – no money exchanged, everything included, and no products being sold. Just come as you are and enjoy!

Everything is perfect. The facility is new. It’s all very clean and beautifully designed. The course offerings are diverse and varied. By far the best part was the buffet that was available three times a day. I will definitely come back.
I would recommend renting a scooter. The center is a bit remote in the jungle and in the evenings, you can easily ride to the beach with the scooter.

I would have liked maybe a more in-depth approach (for example, a more structured welcome in terms of goals, reflection, etc.). We are left to ourselves a lot (maybe that’s what some people want), although we can open up and discuss in some activities. It’s a very personal approach and it’s up to each individual… Also, I didn’t really like Koh Pha-ngan… The food is excellent. Great atmosphere and the setting is fantastic. Good pace of activities. You meet lots of people from everywhere. I liked the variety of yoga styles, depending on the teachers.

The communication for questions and problems was mostly done through the internet, especially when on site, a personal conversation can be much better. The receptionists were very nice but had no decision-making authority and also had to send an email to the operators and wait for a response, even though they were on site. I found that very strange and closed off.
I didn’t like the mixed dormitories. I wanted to move to a private room for an extra charge, but it was unreasonably expensive. The yoga and meditation classes were good.
    The food was really delicious.
The facilities are very nicely designed. I loved the sauna and steam room. The massage was also really great.

This place works its magic on you. The food is amazing, the schedule keeps you busy, and the teachers rock (both yoga and meditation). But it’s the people who really make this place special. The connections, the experiences shared, the meals together as a community. Trust me, do yourself a favor and book a room for as long as possible! Once you’re here, you won’t ever want to leave.

I had an amazing experience spending 22 days at the Resort. The beautiful surroundings and meeting people from all over the world made it a special and magical place. Every day, we shared unforgettable experiences in a simple and harmonious way.

The Community here offers the best Yoga ♀️, meditation classes, Detox programmes, Reiki, vegan food, and a great selection of international music. I laughed, I cried, I spent hours in silence, chilled out by the pool, enjoyed the steam room, and cultivated my inner peace, self-love, forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, joy, and kindness deeply.

I didn’t personally plan this program as I was promised. The yoga was for beginners and there were a variety of styles. I ended up with one of the less desirable rooms and was a bit disappointed since it didn’t have a terrace, seating area, or view as I was told. It would have been fine for a shorter stay though. So, if you’re hoping to advance your yoga practice or attend a more traditional yoga school, this might not be the best place for you. But if you’re looking for a resort to enjoy healthy meals, get a taste of spirituality, and relax, I would definitely recommend it. The food was excellent, rooms were clean, staff was mostly friendly, and the pool area and surroundings were lovely. It would be a great experience for someone with little to no yoga experience. The meditation classes were good, and some of the yoga instructors were really experienced and talented.

I found some criticisms with the retreat. The yoga level was too intense for me, even when I tried Level 1. I think the instructors should have focused more on alternative poses for people with limitations. It would have been nice if they asked if anyone had health issues or was pregnant in the class.

When we checked in, it would have been helpful if someone explained how the retreat worked. It was our first time at a yoga retreat, so we had nothing to compare it to. However, my son and I loved the top-notch facilities, delicious food, great instructors, and comfortable accommodation. (My son was especially relieved that there was plenty of food!)

We enjoyed every moment of our stay and it went by too quickly. We plan on returning at the end of the year. I highly recommend Wonderland Yoga Retreat to anyone looking for a holistic experience that includes yoga, philosophy, meditation, and lifestyle choices. It’s a great place to kickstart your transformation.

The hot water in the bathroom wasn’t working well, so I started out in a dorm room but it was too much for me. I had to move to a private room because there were too many girls in one room for such a small area. The ventilation was poor and the AC wasn’t working properly. There wasn’t enough storage space for my belongings so I had to put things on the floor. The beds were high and noisy, so I had to wake my neighbor below every time I needed to go to the bathroom at night.

I also didn’t like the stray dogs on the island and the ones that would come into the place. But I did appreciate the friendliness of everyone and the family-like atmosphere. The premises were wonderful – well designed, maintained, clean, and fresh. The owner took care of many details that were important to solo travelers.

The rooms at Wonderland were very clean and spacious, with two toilets for a 6-person dorm, which is perfect. However, in my opinion, concrete Western-style houses are the wrong choice for a tropical climate because they cause energy consumption to rise above acceptable levels. We had to use the air conditioning every night. Everything was good. I was looking for a more ascetic place, but Wonderland had a more vacation-like ambiance, which was still very good. The yoga classes at Wonderland could challenge you, but they were accessible even for beginners.

We had different levels of yoga classes every day. The instructors were encouraging, knowledgeable, and eager to answer any questions we had.

They occasionally arranged trips to beaches. I only joined them once, and the sunset was breathtaking.

Here, you not only learn different yoga poses but also get to know yourself, your mind, and your body. You’ll have the chance to discuss things in groups and gain new perspectives from people all around the world in class and during the three meals we share together. The food is delicious, the staff and yoga teachers are wonderful, and there’s a kind and loving atmosphere that makes you feel truly seen and safe. While I was there, the center experienced major flooding, causing many people to lose all or most of their personal items. Services, like the pool, were also impacted and couldn’t be used throughout my stay.

It’s disappointing that no gestures of goodwill or discounts were offered to customers who had their retreat affected or suffered personal losses.

The dorm didn’t meet my expectations in terms of comfort. The lack of shelving and lights on top bunks made it inconvenient and not ideal for longer stays.

On a positive note, the food area and restaurant were the highlight of my experience. It was a cozy meeting spot with delicious food and good coffee every day. The variety of yoga and meditation classes offered was also impressive.

Yoga classes tend to get very busy and may not be the best fit for beginners or those with less physical ability. The teachers don’t always provide modifications for injuries or limitations. From my experience as a yoga teacher, I noticed that some of the instruction is geared towards advanced students, which can be risky for beginners. The community vibe is great, and the buffet style meals offer a variety of options, including accommodations for food allergies. Overall, the classes are well-taught and diverse, but may not be the most beginner-friendly.

The beds were really hard, but we realized that this is standard in Thailand after visiting other places. Still, I wish we had a softer mattress considering how much we paid. They treated us like VIPs from check in to check out. Everyone was so nice. The food, served buffet style, was consistently healthy and delicious. 1. I think Wonderland should be more upfront about being a “hands off” retreat when it comes to facilitation. I only interacted with staff when I had a question, which was a bit surprising.

    2. It was nice to have a variety of yoga instructors at Wonderland, but it was difficult to connect with them since none of them lived on site and there were so many. I never had the same instructor twice during my stay, although I appreciated that each one had their own specialty class.

    3. I chose Wonderland based on the indoor yoga space shown in pictures, but when I arrived, the room was under construction and most classes were held outside. This information should have been made clear on the website for guests to consider before booking.

    4. I found out that we were paying high season prices during low season, which should have been disclosed. Despite these issues, I enjoyed my time at Wonderland. The facilities were beautiful, the food was amazing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The steam room was great, and the wifi was reliable. I left feeling relaxed and will definitely recommend Wonderland to others.

The location. It was pretty close to the highway so you could definitely feel the exhaust fumes. The nearest beach was quite far too; an adventure to walk to. The so-called secret beach turned out to be pretty shallow and littered.

Point number 2. The loud music or constant noise in the restaurant. Maybe hip young people today need that. But it didn’t really have that retreat vibe. Each of the 6 teachers had their own unique style and helped me move forward with their tips. I was most impressed by Alon. His physically-focused, scientific style gave yoga the grounding it deserves. Plus, the food was extremely varied and healthy.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, especially the variety! The dorm rooms were nice, but next time I’ll definitely opt for a separate room. When you have an experience like that, privacy is key! The fact that they picked me up from my hostel instead of the port was so thoughtful, and I really appreciated that they took me to the currency exchange before dropping me off at the pier.

/ I would recommend the Wonderland stay to everybobody – doesn’t matter if you are looking for 7 hours of full yoga and meditation program ( intense) or just relaxing by the pool..
It is perfectly fine for any yoga level from absolute beginner to the advanced…
Food is amazing and plenty/ buffet , staff-ladies in the reception super pleasant and helpful..
Wonderland just radiates love and positive energy . Set in the local jungle, lot of green trees, little river ..100 places “to hide” and meditate.. hammocks, little shalas…
    Nice pool ..STRONGLY RECOMEND!
Also people / guests… not a “hippie” place to my surprise .. I was in wonderland for 30 days and all people I met were super nice and pleasant educated.. just super nice people.
Location: hidden gem a bit out of town – but taxi to the town ( all the shops, amazing night markets, secret beach etc are between 3-4$ usually one way one person/ more people – you share the cost… so you pay half or less ..easy;)
Villas for 2 are beautiful but there is nothing wrong at all with the shared ( dorm) acomidation.. ( that’s where I stayed) clean, comfortable , always plenty of cold water in the fridge..
What I also liked- you can refil your bottle with fresh cold water on every corner in wonderland ..pretty awesome ..
Everything you need for yoga provided- mats, blocks , belts…cushions.. same for meditation..
I can 100% recommend and I am definitely going back soon.

There is absolutely nothing not to like about this place. It was the most incredible place I have ever been! I’ve been to yoga retreats all over the world, but this one is by far the best and the most affordable. The food is top-notch, and they don’t sacrifice flavor even though it’s vegan. The property is super clean, and the rooms are comfy. The best part is the family that owns it is welcoming and so sweet. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I didn’t care for some kids running around and screaming occasionally and hearing the kitchen in the meditation room. But luckily, it wasn’t a regular thing! I loved how comfortable I felt traveling alone. The food, yoga, and pilates classes were excellent. The staff was really polite, helpful, and spoke great English. The massages were also amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

The vegan buffets lacked the best ingredient – avocado. I loved the sound healing, inner dance, and yin yoga sessions with Melissa. The pool and herbal sauna were awesome. I couldn’t get enough of the amazing food! The dorm beds were comfy. They really take good care of the site, it’s super clean. Definitely worth the money.

I didn’t get what I expected from the staff, atmosphere, and site itself. The reception staff and instructors didn’t meet my expectations. They acted like they were better than us guests. The instructors seemed to have a little group and weren’t friendly at all, even sitting apart from everyone at meals. The reception staff were indifferent at best, unhelpful at worst. Because of the staff’s attitudes and the atmosphere, I felt like I was at a party resort for young adults, not the peaceful retreat I thought it was. The site is in a beautiful jungle location, but parts of the resort look like a construction zone. Despite that, the accommodations, facilities, and food were great.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Maybe the massage area could be a little bit comfier, but the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had! I’ve had a lot, hehe. Everything was awesome! This quiet and peaceful place is surrounded by palm trees, in the middle of the island, away from all of reality, with open-minded people. You get the best food ever here. The whole menu is plant-based and everything is so yummy. I miss it already!

If you’re a foodie and yogi like me, you definitely have to go there. And don’t forget to try the coconut balls – I’m addicted to them! #addicted

I stayed in a dorm with more beds than described, but it wasn’t a big problem.

During my stay at Wonderland, I experienced a range of emotions. I felt tired, overwhelmed, and unsure at times, but also calm, reflective, happy, and peaceful. I think that’s the whole point – to better understand myself and what I want and need in life.

The staff, from the instructors to the reception, were absolutely fantastic. Even when I had to go to the hospital, the staff at Wonderland took great care of me, visiting me at least twice a day.

As soon as I left on the ferry, I felt a longing to return to Wonderland. I’m sure I’ll visit again soon.

The breakfast was only served at 8, which was not ideal because the Yoga classes started at the same time. If you were lucky and the teacher finished on time (which was rare), you could dash to the amazing breakfast buffet. This might not be the best spot for hardcore yoga enthusiasts, but the vegan food was delicious and perfect for those not used to spicy Thai cuisine. The dorm was spacious, but we didn’t get the luxury 4-bed room we booked. The pool and hammock areas were stunning and the oil massage was fantastic. The evening lectures were enjoyable, and we met lovely people from all over the world. The staff was very friendly too.

The breakfast could be a bit more varied, they served the same thing every day. Same goes for the fruits.
During my walk around the resort, I was told I had a massage included – but I ended up having to pay 600 Baht for it afterwards. I also didn’t need the transfer to the pier, so I asked if they could take me to the beach instead as a one-time thing. Unfortunately, they couldn’t do that. Not very flexible and not a great way to end the trip. The resort is very beautiful and peacefully located. The staff is very nice, with one exception, but there’s always one. The food was always delicious. The teachers were very kind and attentive.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at this place! The only thing to note is that breakfast starts at 8am, which coincides with the first yoga class. So if you attend the 8am yoga class, you’ll have to wait until after (9:30am) to eat. But don’t worry, there are always bananas available for a pre-yoga snack, and you can also get a takeaway box of food during meal times. Personally, I would grab some fresh fruit for my snack before yoga.

I mean, seriously, I’m struggling to find anything I didn’t like!
    – The food was amazing – so much variety and deliciousness.
    – The staff were incredibly kind and caring.
    – I met some wonderful people and made lifelong friends.
    – There were tons of classes to choose from, not just yoga and meditation but also special sessions like lectures and healing therapies. It’s more than just a yoga retreat!
    – The vibe was super chill with no strict schedule – you could do as many or as few classes as you wanted.
    – The rooms were spacious and comfy, with great beds and big bathrooms.
    – The resort itself was beautiful, with an awesome pool and steam room. Plus, there were plenty of chill spots with hammocks to relax and listen to the river nearby.
    – And let’s not forget the free smoothie or coconut every day, plus unlimited tea and coffee. They even had fresh coffee made just how you like it – I was obsessed with the cacao and coconut milk coffee!

The fact that most people wanted to stay longer or at least thought about it just shows how incredible this place is. I’ll definitely be back one day.

The schedule is packed with yoga, meditation, pilates, and special sessions from 8am to 8pm, providing great experiences to take home. The activities are diverse, the vegan food is fantastic, and the staff, teachers, and therapists are all very warm and helpful. I spontaneously decided to do the detox program and now I feel full of energy, with my well-being at a 10 out of 10. I also had a spiritual counseling session with Oxana, who helped answer my long-standing questions, supported my intuition, and assisted in my healing process by addressing old patterns and beliefs. I was really scared in my room last night because of the animal noises. Even though there aren’t any dangerous animals, it was still pretty scary. I think I’ll opt for the dorm next time. The private room wasn’t worth the price, the shower barely worked and the water was often cold or dirty. I was not satisfied with the variety of events besides yoga and meditation. I’m not vegan, so while the food was great, it wasn’t really my cup of tea.

I wish there were more power yoga classes and more variety in the schedule. But I did enjoy trying different types of yoga and meditation, the food was delicious, the people were friendly, and the setting with hammocks, pool, and nature was lovely. The remote location was actually a plus because it helped me stay focused on the retreat without distractions. You can still take a taxi if needed, but it’s not as accessible and there are events scheduled all day to keep you busy.
