If you’re serious about getting rid of harmful toxins and substances, then Wonderland Healing Center has the perfect detox retreats for you. Here, you can immerse yourself in the serene and stunning beauty of Wonderland, which offers the ideal environment for inner reflection and rejuvenation of your body, mind, and spirit. Our detox packages are flexible and can be customized to suit your unique requirements, all under the expert guidance of our on-site detox specialist. They’ll be by your side, helping you along as you embark on your path towards better health and well-being.
At Wonderland, we have a schedule of yoga and meditation classes designed to support you during your fasting or detoxing journey. You can choose from a variety of expertly-taught classes, and also enjoy a Thai massage or an in-room treatment from our holistic healing menu. Plus, we have luxurious facilities including an outdoor pool and herbal steam sauna.
So, what exactly is detox? Well, it’s all about cleansing and alkalizing your body. By removing obstructions like acids, mucus, parasites, chemicals, and even negative emotions, your cells can function properly and damaged tissues can regenerate. Fasting allows your body to use its energy for flushing out toxins and breaking up waste matter. And don’t worry, fasting doesn’t mean just drinking water. You can include high-vibration, high-quality, alkaline, and hydrating fruits in your diet.
For our retreat, we offer different detoxification programs like full detox, herbal detox, and juice detox. And along with these programs, we have treatments such as anti-parasites, candida treatment, and liver flush.
Now, let’s talk about yoga and meditation. Alongside our detox programs, we have a wide variety of classes suitable for all levels. These classes are designed to support your holistic wellness experience and bring harmony to your body, mind, and spirit. We offer styles like Hatha, Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Yin, Acro yoga, and Partner yoga. Our experienced international teachers are here to help you establish a daily routine of health and wellness.
Here are some of the yoga styles and events we offer: Therapeutic Vinyasa Yoga, Pilates, Vinyasa flow Yoga, Dynamic Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Meditation, Acro Yoga, Laughter Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga, Conscious Breathing, Hatha Alignment Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Chi kung, TRE – Trauma Release Exercise, Yoga Philosophy Lectures, Ayurveda lectures, Inner dance, Fire Gathering, Dance Therapy, Rebirthing sessions, Nutrition lectures, Kirtan gatherings, Shamanic journeys, and Sound healing.
And to give you an idea of a daily schedule, here’s a sample: in the morning, you can start with meditation followed by a yoga class. Afterward, you can enjoy a vegan breakfast buffet and either attend another yoga class or have free time for personal excursions. Then, you can have a vegan lunch buffet and more free time for personal excursions, massage treatments, or healing sessions. In the afternoon, there will be a guided meditation class and an alignment yoga class. Later on, you can join a Hatha or Yin yoga class. In the evening, we’ll serve a vegan dinner buffet and there will be an evening activity like Kirtan, song circle around the fire, inner dance, yoga philosophy lectures, or Ayurveda lectures.
Please keep in mind that the length of your retreat can be tailored to your stay, and the instructors may vary according to the schedule.

February 20, 2024 at 12:00 amThe rooms were great, but the neighbors could be noisy because the sound travels in this beautiful location. The food was outstanding, and there was a good variety of classes, something for everyone.
We loved the steam room and cold plunge. We also hired a scooter from the resort and explored the island. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and they even dropped us off to the ferry terminal.
There were lots of different nationalities, singles, couples, and groups. They kept everything clean and sent lots of water to the rooms. It was a very social vibe.

January 29, 2024 at 12:00 amJ’ai passé une semaine incroyable!

December 20, 2023 at 12:00 amThe classes were packed with people, which made it really uncomfortable. You couldn’t help but touch the people next to you all the time because it was so crowded. I made the decision to skip some classes and spend more time by myself in order to relax and have a better experience. And let me tell you, some of the teachers were just a joke. There was this one lady named Nadja who had such a negative energy. She never greeted anyone, got defensive when asked questions, and kept talking about some other retreat that was supposedly better. I mean, why would she recommend another place when we all paid to be here? It was so strange! Not to mention, she spent a lot of time outside smoking cigarettes, which definitely didn’t leave a good impression on me. But hey, at least I liked the location and the food. The facility was great, except for the awful smell that seemed to be everywhere. It was so hard to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere when everything smelled like, well, you know what.

December 18, 2023 at 12:00 amI think the place should pay more attention to cleaning the hammock cushions up in the air! It’s a bit stinky and it’d be nicer if everything smelled better. The surroundings of this lovely place are absolutely breathtaking with all the beautiful nature around.

November 24, 2023 at 12:00 amI missed the beach. The location was remote, and I missed seeing the island’s shores. I loved doing yoga here. The teachers were great, I sweated a lot, and the food was delicious.

November 20, 2023 at 12:00 amThe location of this place is incredible – you’ll feel like you’re at the edge of the world. However, it can be a bit challenging because the nearest village is quite far away, so you’ll need to take a taxi unless you can drive a scooter. And let me tell you, taxis are pretty expensive on all the Thai islands.
When you’re booking your stay, I highly recommend going for a private accommodation. The dorms are always packed with 5-6 people crammed into a small space and the common areas are always crowded. So, if you want some privacy, a private room is definitely the way to go. Trust me, this place may just be one of the best retreats you’ll ever experience!
Nestled in the middle of a lush forest, Wonderland gives you access to top-notch facilities that are always clean and super comfortable. They’ve got an amazing pool, sauna, and spa that will make you feel like you’re in paradise. And let me not forget to mention the food – it’s absolutely mind-blowing! They serve the most delicious vegan dishes you can imagine.
The instructors here are incredibly professional and offer different levels and styles of yoga and meditation. This place truly lives up to its name – it’s a complete wonderland and a sanctuary for anyone looking for peace, connection, and inner calm.

November 4, 2023 at 12:00 amWe absolutely fell in love with Wonderland! The place itself was like a dream, and the classes were just as amazing. They had so many options available every day, and we got to try out different yoga styles. The classes were open to everyone, no matter their level. Plus, they also had a bunch of other classes that we really enjoyed, like the Women’s Circle and Tibetan Singing Bowl Healing.
Oh, and let me tell you about the vegan buffet. It was an absolute dream! It changed every day, but it never failed to impress us. And the best part? The staff was incredibly friendly and kind.
Honestly, it’s such a wonderful place! We had such a lovely time that we even ended up staying longer than we planned.

October 23, 2023 at 12:00 amIf you decide to stay for more than a week, some of the workshops might repeat a bit. It would be great if they made some small changes to the schedule or added something slightly different. However, you can also choose to do again the things you really enjoyed or simply take it easy and skip a few. Initially, I planned to stay at Wonderland for just 7 days but ended up extending my stay for an additional 4 days. It is truly a magical place where you can take part in up to 6 workshops a day, enjoy the pool and sauna, and meet incredible people. The instructors are all fantastic, with some of them even being quite inspiring. I booked a private room which was really nice. They clean it daily and always make sure you have enough water. Oh, and let me tell you about the food – it’s absolutely amazing and incredibly tasty. I even had one of the best falafels here! I really wish I could have stayed longer, but I will definitely come back for sure.

September 8, 2023 at 12:00 amThe resort was filling up quickly towards the end of my stay. The yoga classes became quite crowded, making it hard to move without being careful not to bump into anyone. We even ran out of mats and pillows a few times. But despite that, I absolutely loved my stay there and it’s no wonder why people keep going back!
As a beginner in yoga, I never felt lost or out of place because the different teachers always offered variations of each pose to accommodate everyone. My week there was absolutely perfect and I not only learned a lot about yoga, but also about myself.
One thing I really loved was the variety of classes offered throughout the day, including yoga, meditation, and lectures. It kept things exciting!
I stayed in a dorm and it was always kept so clean, which I really appreciated. The food was also very tasty, and I looked forward to seeing what dinner would be each day.
There were plenty of communal areas where you could meet new people, but also lots of space to be alone and relax if you preferred. And let’s not forget the water refill stations – such a great idea! No need to buy plastic bottles.
Overall, my experience at the resort was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to others.

August 23, 2023 at 12:00 amThe meal schedules. You can have breakfast and lunch from 9 am to 1 pm, and dinner is from 6 pm to 8 pm. As a suggestion, I would extend the schedule by one more hour in both cases. I would also add an extra class between 12 pm and 3 pm because there used to be nothing during that time. We offer a wide variety of classes, including aromatherapy, sound healing, vipassana meditation, loving and kindness meditation, hatha yoga, and more. The food is delicious. The decoration is beautiful, and every detail is carefully thought out. The teachers are very professional. They clean the rooms every day.

August 16, 2023 at 12:00 amIt’s a super busy and crowded place – feels more like a resort with classes instead of a peaceful retreat, you know? The vibe here is not exactly friendly and welcoming like most retreats. Don’t expect your yoga skills to progress much because the teachers don’t really give feedback or guidance, but hey, the classes themselves are pretty enjoyable. It’d be nice if the teachers and staff, especially the Western ones, were warmer and friendlier though! On the bright side, the food is fantastic and they offer plenty of classes throughout the day. Plus, the entire place is absolutely beautiful!

July 30, 2023 at 12:00 amI had a problem with the general quality of yoga classes. Out of the 14 classes I took, only 3 were taught by excellent instructors. Most instructors would demonstrate poses without providing instructions on how to properly do them. They lacked proper guidance on anatomy and breath work, making it difficult for me to stay focused. I wished they paid more attention to the students, but instead, they would demonstrate the pose and hold it the whole time. As a certified yoga instructor myself, I found it lacking in engagement and energy. The only time I received an assist was when a teacher touched me without asking for permission. Some reviews may label the classes as beginner style, but in reality, beginner classes require more cues to ensure correct form. I wish Wonderland had higher standards for the quality of their classes and had instructors like Amber or Raj teaching more often. Ewa’s Reiki session was definitely worth the money and the food was great. Raj’s Kundalini and Amber’s Flow classes were outstanding. I also enjoyed David’s Hatha stretch and Nadja’s meditation. The specials were a must-do and I had a wonderful spiritual experience overall. The staff was awesome and the sauna was fantastic.
In summary, I really enjoyed the retreat and would do it again. The meditations and specials alone made it worthwhile. I do miss the pool though!

July 19, 2023 at 12:00 amYou couldn’t really go anywhere on foot, although you could if you really had to, but it would’ve been a bit of a stretch. I really wish the retreat would offer a shuttle to the town and back at least once a day for people who need to do some shopping or something.
The massage was great, although a little pricey. And there were so many options for yoga and meditation lessons, which I absolutely loved.
The food was absolutely heavenly. Thank you so much for offering such a great variety.

June 18, 2023 at 12:00 amOne instructor really impressed me with their healing class. I believe they excel as a mindfulness coach, even more so than a yoga/pilates instructor. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the class. There was a lack of harmony and the pilates flow sequence was not built up properly. For example, we started with pilates 100s before anything else, and the breath wasn’t mentioned at all.
Apart from that, I had a bit of a letdown when I and another girl in my dorm got food poisoning from the dinner. Luckily, it seemed that only the two of us were affected. On the bright side, the place itself is beautiful and perfect for relaxation. The staff were friendly and there were plenty of opportunities to meet new people.
Interestingly, none of the three instructors I wanted to review are actually on the list. However, two of them taught fantastic classes with well-thought-out structures. I appreciated the challenge in the flow, but I must mention that this is primarily geared towards yoga beginners.

June 6, 2023 at 12:00 amI noticed that most of the people attending were very young, which was unexpected for a yoga retreat. It wasn’t particularly friendly, unlike what I usually experience at yoga retreats. However, I must say that the staff and instructors were fantastic. Although, I wonder how it would have been for an absolute beginner like me since most classes were at an intermediate and beyond level. If you’ve never done yoga before, this might not be the best place for you. They offer a variety of classes and activities every day, so you can choose to join in or not. The setting is beautiful and the facilities are well taken care of. The range of classes is impressive, and the room I stayed in was very nice. It truly is a special place.

May 24, 2023 at 12:00 amI noticed some missing things in the dorm: each bed didn’t have a plug and reading light. The metal bunk beds were making a lot of noise, so if you move, you might wake up the person underneath you. But other than that, everything was perfect.
The classes were really good. They give you a schedule with one morning meditation and two morning yoga classes. In the afternoon, there’s one more meditation class and one more yoga class. You can choose how you want to manage your days.
There’s always a break between 11:30 and 15:00 with no classes. During this time, you can enjoy the pool, hammam, or go for a scooter/bike ride.
Food is served from 9-13:00 and 18:00-20:00. There’s nothing in between, but you can order a smoothie or even go to a restaurant nearby. The food is vegan and good. The hammam is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had an amazing stay and I can only recommend it.

April 13, 2023 at 12:00 amThe meditation sessions can be a bit challenging if you’re used to meditating for a maximum of 25 minutes in your daily life. They go on for quite a while during the retreat, so it’s always a struggle not to fall asleep. Unfortunately, I was sick for the first two days, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to heal. They took care of me and I was able to move into a private room at short notice. I don’t think I’ve ever recovered so quickly before. The food was simply delicious and always fresh! The yoga classes were wonderful, I could really let loose. However, due to my illness, I could only attend 2 classes. December 3, 2022 at 12:00 amThere was a flood in the dormitory and we had to escape through the window at 4am. It ruined a lot of my clothes. I caught a “virus” or food poisoning there and was sick for three days. I couldn’t eat anything. The atmosphere is very Zen and the people always have a smile on their faces. The outdoor activities, although only twice a week, are great. The breakfast is good, although it’s a bit late for those who want to eat earlier (it starts at 9am). The evening meal is excellent and they change it every day. The yoga lessons are really good and they also offer meditation.

November 23, 2022 at 12:00 amMost yoga classes focus heavily on pure asana or fitness, even if they claim to be Level 1. Personally, I prefer other types of yoga.
Unfortunately, when I was staying in Wonderland, they didn’t offer Sound healing, Wim Hof, or Mantra Chanting workshops – all of which I would’ve loved to attend. So, make sure to check the schedule before you come here! Wonderland is a stunning place to be, though!
I had an amazing time there and now feel purified, relaxed, and connected to my inner peace. The daily Vipassana Meditations with Yaron in the morning were the best way to start my day.
I also loved Raj’s Kundalini Hatha classes – he has such deep knowledge and wisdom. And the Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy workshop with Liz was fantastic too. We had a wonderful women’s circle with lovely Amor, and Stephanie’s classes were also top-notch.
Oh, and let’s not forget about the food – it’s unbelievably delicious! Enjoy every moment of your time in paradise!

November 22, 2022 at 12:00 amI felt very comfortable in Wonderland. The people were very nice, the food is excellent. It was also clean and the yoga classes were great too. Personally, Yin Yoga wasn’t a big challenge for me but the classes are suitable for beginners. I also extended my stay because I felt comfortable, and it was no problem at all because the staff is very friendly. The location is a bit hard to reach, but if you have a scooter, it’s easier. Otherwise, you can order a taxi from the hotel.

November 20, 2022 at 12:00 amWe spent four days there and on our last night, we caught the worst stomach virus. It left us unable to move and we suffered from fever, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting for three days straight. It feels like both our money and our health were wasted. We feel cheated because we paid to feel better, not to get sick and feel worse when we left. It’s difficult to write a negative review, but after feeling so terrible, I feel compelled to share our experience with others. On a positive note, the yoga classes were enjoyable and the teachers were excellent.

October 16, 2022 at 12:00 amI arrived in October for an eight day retreat and let me tell you, the area was absolutely stunning! It was so green and inviting, and the facilities were top-notch. The yoga teachers were incredibly experienced too. But you know what really made it feel like a fairy tale? The amazing togetherness atmosphere. Picture this – long tables at the buffet-style restaurant where you have the chance to meet incredible people from all over the world who share your interests. Trust me, the conversations got deep real quick, and before I knew it, I felt like I truly belonged. When it was time for me to leave, I had made some fantastic new connections and I couldn’t help but wonder how I could bring a piece of Wonderland into my everyday life back home.

September 27, 2022 at 12:00 amI stayed in the dorm room at Wonderland for 7 nights. It wasn’t the best dorm I’ve been in, but it’s really just a place to sleep anyway. During the day, there are a ton of different classes like yoga, meditation, and lectures. They also offer activities like hiking to a waterfall or going on a sunset tour. The best part is, you get to choose what you want to do – there’s no pressure to join everything.
If you just want to relax, you can hang out at the pool, use the sauna, or even get a massage. And let me tell you, the food there is incredible! I usually eat vegetarian, but they had a whole vegan buffet for me. It was like heaven on a plate – absolutely delicious.
I overheard some people talking about how they’ll definitely come back every year now, and I completely agree with them.

September 14, 2022 at 12:00 amCome to Nothing Wonderland! It’s an incredible little oasis nestled in the jungle of Ko Pha Ngan. Our rooms are kept squeaky clean and are serviced daily. You’ll find shampoo and bath gel provided for your convenience. Trust me, the vegan buffet we offer is absolutely delightful with a wide variety of international dishes for you to try. Plus, our laundry service is both budget-friendly and dependable.
We’ve got so much more to offer than just accommodations! Throughout the day, you can partake in various types of meditations and yoga classes. We also have interesting talks, movie nights, and even fire performances. Oh, and let’s not forget about our sauna, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, and cozy lounging areas.
Looking to explore the area? We’ve got you covered! We offer complimentary excursions to hike in the jungle and relax at the beach during the week. And if you’re in need of some pampering, we have a wide range of holistic treatments available, including traditional Thai massages.
Believe me when I say that Nothing Wonderland is a true paradise. Don’t miss out on this experience – I highly recommend paying us a visit!

August 20, 2022 at 12:00 amThe evening programs at Wonderland were a mix of different things, but they felt a bit disorganized. The schedules were easy to find and follow, but some of the topics for the evenings were unclear. Sometimes, they featured guest instructors who would introduce themselves and share their experiences. Other times, the presentations were more casual and informal. I wanted to participate, but I needed more information before deciding whether to join. I didn’t want to end up in an awkward situation or waste my time attending a session that didn’t interest me.
But overall, staying at Wonderland was really nice for healing, relaxation, and hanging out with like-minded people. Some days, there were structured classes that I enjoyed. On other days, I was happy just to eat, socialize, lounge by the pool, get a massage, and relax in the different areas of the resort. I met several people who had come back to Wonderland after a positive first visit. Personally, I stayed at the resort for my entire trip and didn’t feel the need to explore outside because I was so content with the food and social atmosphere. The meals were excellent with a great variety and freshness. It was a fantastic opportunity to try out this kind of eating and it’s something I’ve continued to do even after leaving Wonderland.

July 1, 2022 at 12:00 amI didn’t find anything negative, everything was absolutely amazing! I honestly don’t even know where to start. The whole experience at Wonderland was just incredible. Originally, I had planned to stay for three nights, but I ended up extending my stay to six nights because I loved it so much!
First of all, the food was beyond delicious. The entire place was beautifully designed with lots of relaxing areas to just chill out. The pool was fantastic, and the dorm rooms and bathrooms were also really great.
Since I was traveling alone, I was eager to meet new people, and it was surprisingly easy to strike up conversations. Everyone, including the staff, was so friendly. The yoga and meditation teachers were absolutely amazing, and the schedule was well-balanced. The best part was that you didn’t have to attend every single class if you didn’t feel like it. Additionally, they organized some fun outings, like hiking to waterfalls, making flower crowns, and even watching the sunset at the beach.
Personally, I loved the evening talks the most. They were so insightful and thought-provoking.
To anyone considering a yoga retreat, I highly recommend going to Wonderland. Trust me, it’s an incredible experience that you won’t want to end!

I haven’t felt this good in my own body for years.

May 23, 2022 at 12:00 amI have just a few suggestions: It would be great if we could have more side activities. They should definitely work on improving the quality of some classes. May 6, 2022 at 12:00 amI would suggest that the team provide more detail about the activities, like hikes and the sunset tour, so people know what to expect. I personally tried both and they were amazing, but not exactly what I expected based on their names. This place is truly magical. During the 4 days I spent there, I felt more relaxed and restored than I would at a typical beach resort.
The schedule is packed with activities, giving everyone the option to choose according to their preferences. There are so many things to do that even when heavy rain forced us to stay indoors for several days, it didn’t feel like torture. In fact, it turned into a positive aspect of the experience.
The food is great too! Despite not being a vegan, I found it easy to survive on the vegan food because it was all delicious.
The best part, however, is the serenity and peace you feel at this place.

April 20, 2022 at 12:00 amUnfortunately, the experience was let down by the welcome. They didn’t provide us with any information about how things ‘work’ and we didn’t receive the promised welcome drink or the important yoga consultation we were looking forward to. A brief chat about how the classes operate and what our goals were, as well as discussing any injuries, would have greatly improved the overall welcome. To make matters worse, we had to negotiate for a daily smoothie even though it was supposed to be included in the booking, which felt quite awkward.
Aly and Lauren, on the other hand, were fantastic instructors. They warmly welcomed us to the sessions and Lauren was actively interested in adapting postures, going around and providing feedback to people. Sadly, some other teachers were not as friendly. Their welcome felt cold and full of ego, lacking any interaction and enthusiasm.
In one instance, the classes were overbooked and there wasn’t enough room for everyone. In my personal opinion, they should never overbook the site so that people can attend all the sessions they wish.
Lastly, we were disappointed when a hike was cancelled due to weather and we weren’t informed about it.
On a positive note, the site itself was really nice. It was attractive and well maintained. Additionally, the food was fantastic.

April 8, 2022 at 12:00 amWonderland is a really nice place to be if you want to feel safe and meet people who share your interests. However, it did seem like a little bubble of Westerners and I missed having the option of Thai food. I thought that since it was located about 20 minutes away from the coast, Wonderland would be nestled on one of those adorable mountains, but it turned out that the grounds were actually flat. So if you want to explore the surrounding area, having a scooter would be a good idea. You’ll find that Wonderland has a fantastic schedule of classes and special events to keep you engaged, and it’s a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about different approaches to mediation and yoga. Most of the yoga teachers were really amazing and the food was delicious. They also offer a nice variety of treatments, although they can be a bit pricey.

April 5, 2022 at 12:00 amI had a great experience at Wonderland, except for one low point – catching COVID. On my first day, I found out that my roommate had tested positive for COVID, but she was instructed to continue attending classes and act normal, even though she was sick. She finally told me on my second day that she had been positive the entire time and was told by management that she didn’t need to self-isolate. It wasn’t surprising that I ended up getting COVID myself five days later after spending the whole night in the dorm room with her without masks. Wonderland believes that everyone gets exposed to asymptomatic people all the time, which might be true, but I hadn’t caught COVID in two years until this incident. To protect others, I decided to stay away from classes and activities for five days, as it is the right thing to do in my culture. It wasn’t the end of the world, but I would have appreciated being informed about my roommate’s situation and given the option to switch to a private room instead of being exposed to COVID. So, my advice is that if you’re afraid of getting COVID, it’s probably best to book an individual room at Wonderland for now.
I stayed at Wonderland for several weeks solely for yoga, meditation, and other sessions to relax and refocus after some personal challenges. I didn’t have any expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned in just three weeks. I had little experience with yoga and meditation before, but I tried everything they had to offer. The range of classes was extensive, with something new every day. I must have tried at least 30 different things in such a short amount of time! I enjoyed almost all of them, and some of the meditation and energy sessions really gave me a new understanding that I could take back home with me. So, this trip fulfilled all my needs and even went beyond.
Additionally, I found it effortless to strike up conversations with everyone else staying at Wonderland, and I made many new friends. The instructors, facilitators, and staff were all friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall experience. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to come back, but I definitely will, and next time I’ll bring my daughter along. There were a few other kids there, and they had a great pool for her to play in.

January 8, 2022 at 12:00 amMy boyfriend and I decided to visit Wonderland in Koh Phangan for the first time, and we can’t stop talking about our experience to everyone we meet. The yoga classes here cater to every level and last for an hour and a half. I was so impressed that, after practicing yoga for many years, I saw significant improvement within just one week. With numerous yoga teachers and different types of yoga, you’ll have plenty of options if one doesn’t suit you. This place goes above and beyond with at least 3 yoga classes and over 3 meditation classes offered each day. My boyfriend initially joined me because of my love for yoga, but by the end of our week there, he was even doing handstands! The vegan buffet served for brunch and dinner was not only delicious but also filling and healthy, providing a much-needed break from constantly eating Thai food. We made friends with other guests in the dorms and common eating areas, and we ended up hanging out with them for the rest of our time in Koh Phangan. August 5, 2020 at 12:00 amI think they should offer more yoga classes because some days there’s only one. The white rabbit room is too small for all the people using it. If you don’t have a bike, it might be hard to explore the island, so you’ll probably just stay at the retreat (which isn’t so bad!). The cleaning staff weren’t very friendly and they didn’t clean very often – there were even ants in the rooms! But overall, I had a great experience. The food was clean, healthy, and diverse. March 3, 2020 at 12:00 amThe 6-bed dorms are okay but not luxurious. The beds wobble and squeak; there is only the main room light, so you easily disturb each other; there are no closets, clothes always lie in the backpack on the floor; bed curtains would be nice for some privacy, a shelf at the bed to put things on would also make sense. All of this was almost irrelevant to me in the first week because everything else was right, but unfortunately in my second week, Wonderland became very crowded… we squeezed over 40 people into the shala, definitely not fun. If you were late, you couldn’t participate. The family-like relaxed atmosphere was lost during meals. Waiting in line, waiting, or sometimes not getting any food left. Drinks were empty late in the evening, no towels left, etc… Very sad, the first week was really fantastic… The quiet jungle location, beautifully laid out, varied weekly program> good for trying out, family-like, informal togetherness, very mixed audience, the steam sauna, everything very well-maintained and clean, the buffet is really great.

February 25, 2020 at 12:00 amI found that a lot of the yoga classes were too basic and didn’t cater to those at a more intermediate level. I would have preferred a more challenging workout. February 14, 2020 at 12:00 amThe bedding had some old stains, but the reception staff didn’t know much about the class content when I asked. The television didn’t work the whole time I was there. Wonderland has a great vibe and energy overall. The teachers and staff are amazing and super friendly. The food is top-notch, and with a few tweaks, this place can only get better with time.

February 14, 2020 at 12:00 amThe yoga class level depends on the participants, so it mostly consisted of beginners. That’s why the class wasn’t really ‘advanced’. It would be lovely if they added a class for intermediate yogis. The food at Wonderland was amazing – vegan buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I’m honestly speechless about how delicious it was. Plus, you get a free shake or coconut every day that are also amazing. They have unlimited coffee with almond or coconut milk and a self-serve tea station. The camp itself is beautiful and the people there have peaceful and positive energy. Overall, it was a great experience. I learned a lot from the meditation classes and the other classes they offer are top-notch as well. I just can’t stop raving about how much I loved it.

February 10, 2020 at 12:00 amMy time at Wonderland was truly transformative. People from all walks of life come here for different reasons, but one thing is for sure – the atmosphere is welcoming and non-judgemental. This creates a safe space for deep healing to take place. I was able to let go of a lot and reflect on limiting beliefs I had about myself. And can we just talk about the food? It was absolutely incredible – a major selling point for me that definitely lived up to the hype!
The Sauna and cold plunge pool were a highlight for me, and the variety of classes, yoga styles, meditation techniques, and breath work approaches were fantastic. I enjoyed my time so much that I decided to extend my stay. Koh Phangan is truly magical and a paradise in every sense of the word.
After my two weeks at Wonderland, I’ve made the decision to return to the island in 3 weeks to start my Yoga Teacher Training. I can’t wait to continue my journey in this beautiful place.

February 4, 2020 at 12:00 amThe classes were so crowded that there wasn’t much room, making it hard to see the instructor. The classes were all really great but it’s a shame they were so full. The food is amazing with so many choices to suit everyone. Our room was perfect. The resort has a swimming pool, steam room, plunge pool, and the vibe is so calm and relaxing. My boyfriend, who had never done any yoga or meditation before, loved it!

January 29, 2020 at 12:00 amThe only disappointing thing was the accommodation. It’s basic, with no shelf near the bed or anywhere to store anything. The sink leaked, the shower was dreadful, and the shower holder was broken. Hand soap is needed in both toilets. Despite all that, I’d still come back in a heartbeat because everything else was top-notch. Everyone adored the place. Almost everything was superb. The staff, classes, and food were amazing. They should definitely release a cookbook – it would be a bestseller.

January 15, 2020 at 12:00 amI didn’t really like dancing, so I wasn’t interested in the evening options. I would have preferred an evening Yin Yoga class or more meditation at 8 pm instead of something lively, but other people seemed to enjoy it. I can’t praise this retreat enough – and I have to admit, I was skeptical. I’ve been practicing yoga for a couple of years, but I had never been on a retreat before. The timing and location worked out well after a work trip and I’m so glad I took a chance on this place. From the moment I arrived (they even brought me a welcome drink while I checked in), I felt at ease and right at home. Meeting people from all over the world during meals was amazing, but I also enjoyed lounging in a hammock with a good book or doing some journal writing by the pool in between scheduled classes or activities. I didn’t love every yoga style or instructor, but it was great to try new things like Aerial Yoga (my favorite) and Laughter Yoga (weird, but glad I gave it a shot). The location was perfect – secluded yet close to some fantastic hiking trails to nearby waterfalls and stunning mountain views. The dorm rooms were cozy and the beds surprisingly comfy. I highly recommend getting a Thai massage – I wish I had done it every day. I cherished every moment and it was so poetic that it started raining the moment I left. Getting to Koh Phangan may be a bit tricky with flights, ferries, and buses, but if I ever have the chance to return, I definitely will. Great job, Wonderland team!

January 14, 2020 at 12:00 amThe dorm beds are a bit narrow and unstable. You might feel a bit stuck without a scooter to get to the beach. The classes are top-notch and diverse, the evening activities are amazing (especially the Ecstatic Dance and the Kirstian), and the meals are delicious. It’s a great place to connect with good vibes all around.

December 12, 2019 at 12:00 amThere aren’t as many yoga classes, and the difficulty level isn’t too high if you’re not a beginner. They should plan more activities outside the center, like hiking. The food is great, and the people are so friendly – it feels like you’ve known them forever, even if it’s your first time meeting them.

December 10, 2019 at 12:00 amI can’t stop thinking about how amazing the food was at Wonderland. It’s set my standards so high that nothing else even comes close. And don’t forget to bring your own hand soap for the bathroom. The buffet was irresistible – I practically ate my weight in food while I was there. Those pancakes are still haunting my dreams.
Wonderland is such a great place. I had a blast meeting all the awesome people who work and stay there. You have so much freedom – you can skip classes, avoid socializing, and just chill with a book in a hammock or by the pool. But if you’re looking to connect with folks from all walks of life going through big life changes, like quitting their jobs or starting a nomadic lifestyle, then this is the spot for you.

December 6, 2019 at 12:00 amIt’s a bit inconvenient to have to go from Ko Samui airport to your island by taking a transfer and ferry. However, the center has a great atmosphere and really helps you relax.
They need to update the list of instructors – I particularly loved Selina who taught us Yin Yoga and Charkra Yoga. Also, the instructor who taught Kundalini yoga on Wednesday, December 4th afternoon was amazing.
All the yoga instructors are highly professional and we learned a lot from them. We definitely feel the benefits after each session. The only downside is that some sessions can get pretty crowded.

December 1, 2019 at 12:00 amI have only two constructive criticisms. First, I think they should wash and clean the yoga equipment daily because it all smelled quite bad. Also, the mattresses were incredibly hard, making it painful to sleep on. I believe a mattress topper would be helpful. However, the staff was very accommodating and brought me multiple blankets to fold up and sleep on.
Overall, I love everything about this place! The food and yoga were unbelievably great, and the accommodations and amenities were wonderful. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return again. It’s great for everyone from families to solo travelers.

November 23, 2019 at 12:00 amWonderland truly amazes with something for every holiday style. If you want to relax and rest, you’ll find a beautiful pool, sauna, massages, delicious vegan food, coconuts, tranquil surroundings, yin yoga, and meditation. Highly recommend planning at least a week there to try it all, or you can always extend your stay. It’s hard to leave Wonderland.
For those looking to be more active, there are bicycles and scooters to explore the island and visit beautiful beaches, or you can simply cycle around and enjoy nature. You can even snorkel by KohMa. There are different yoga styles and teachers every day at Wonderland, with great guidance for beginners.
If you want to go deeper, check out the ice bath pranayama style classes to work on breathing techniques and breath retention. The ultimate experience for many is The Inner Walk. It opens your eyes, wakes you up, and shows you things you never knew. It’s the technique for everyday living and survival in this world. It gives a proper understanding of mindfulness and what it truly means. Thank you, Wonderland!

November 20, 2019 at 12:00 amInstructors all over the island occasionally switch schedules or cancel classes at Wonderland, but that happens everywhere. The construction due to rainstorms was a bit disruptive, but that’s just part of the experience. Wonderland is a drop-in center for yoga, meditation, and other sessions, so you can explore different styles and instructors. I stayed in a private room with one other person, and it was perfect – comfy beds, bathroom, and AC. The food was amazing, especially for a vegan like me. Extras like smoothies, coconut water, Reiki, and massages made the experience even better. The facilities are lovely, though some were temporarily out of commission due to bad weather. If you’re planning a 4-day retreat, book 8 days – it’s worth it. Booking longer is even better.

November 2, 2019 at 12:00 amThe lack of storage in the room was lucky that we were only 3 at most!
More meditation than yoga. It was fabulous, a beautiful place to rest, no noise and beautiful vegetation, a real cocoon! October 8, 2019 at 12:00 amThis yoga retreat is perfect for those who enjoy yin and restorative yoga, but not for those seeking power or vinyasa classes. Only one class out of our 5-day stay was actually level 2 or challenging. The rest were all mellow. Unfortunately, only two out of the 10 yoga classes I attended included hip openers, which I really needed. None of the teachers incorporated a vinyasa sequence where you move with each breath. However, all the teachers were knowledgeable. They paced the class slowly and tended to ramble a bit.
On the bright side, the facilities, staff, food, and schedule were all excellent. It was a real treat to be on such beautiful premises. The teachers were knowledgeable and took their classes seriously.

October 2, 2019 at 12:00 amThe staff is not very welcoming and friendly, which is unusual for Thailand. The room facilities are very basic, with no amenities available, low water pressure, and a poor kitchen. It’s a shame that such a spacious place doesn’t make a good impression in the rooms. July 6, 2019 at 12:00 amNot much bad here! There are lots of insects in this jungle, and two huge spiders were spotted in one girl’s bathroom. The island doesn’t offer much of a vista or view. The common area stops playing music at 10 pm and doesn’t allow playing cards. Unfortunately, there are no pool toys available. Some yoga classes move at a slow, plodding pace. The dorm lockers are not big enough for backpacks. But those banana pancakes are incredible! I’ll definitely come back just for those. The dorms are modern and immaculate with two bathrooms. There are hammocks and lounge beds everywhere. The sauna and ice pool are amazing. The pool is kept at the perfect temperature and cleaned daily. Each bed has a plug socket nearby. The common areas are comfy and welcoming. The staff is kind and helpful, and the instructors are super friendly. The food is fresh, varied, and amazing. June 2, 2019 at 12:00 amThe water pipe or something like that smelled bad in the bathroom. They had really good vegan food, a lot of raw options, hot dishes, and delicious fruits. The bed was comfy, the surroundings were beautiful with lots of plants, the pool was warm, and there were plenty of places to relax and unwind. The daily program was varied and exciting, and there were very kind people. Overall, I had many wonderful new experiences.

May 26, 2019 at 12:00 amIt would be nice to be by the sea, but you can’t have everything 😉 Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints! I especially liked the attentive way a staff member approached me and addressed my issue. The accommodation was budget-friendly, so it was very basic (but I already knew that, given it was a shared room). The classes were suitable for everyone, including beginners who were trying it for the first time. So, all in all, I highly recommend a stay here! The reviews about the food weren’t lying or exaggerating. EXCELLENT!!

May 25, 2019 at 12:00 amIf you’ve never been to a yoga retreat but have some experience with basic asana practice or just don’t want to stick to one specific yoga system, then this retreat is perfect for you. You’ll have the option to attend three classes a day at different levels, led by amazing teachers, along with two meditation sessions, interesting lectures, and evening activities. There’s a lot on the agenda each day, so whether you’re staying for a long or short time, there’s plenty to keep you occupied.
The vegan food has received rave reviews, and I have to agree – it’s flavorful, diverse, and incredibly fresh. I seriously considered kidnapping the chef to bring them home with me.
Shoutout to the reception staff who were incredibly helpful and attentive to all my needs.
Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to connect with fellow yoga enthusiasts from all corners of the globe.

May 5, 2019 at 12:00 amI felt a little disappointed when construction was happening near my room on the first two days. I would have felt differently if they had let me know about it at check-in. The private room was exceptionally large, with a wonderful balcony fully equipped with a hammock, table and chairs, and a drying rack. The pool was always clean, and there were lots of spaces to relax in solitude or with others. The yoga facilities were nicely decorated, the instructors were passionate and professional, the variety of classes was never-ending, and the whole place exuded relaxation. And the food, oh the food! So abundant and delicious! I had a lovely and rejuvenating stay.

April 29, 2019 at 12:00 amI wasn’t that excited about some of the evening workshops, and I wished they had more variety or offered different types of yoga like Iyengar.
I decided to book a yoga retreat at Wonderland Healing Centre to get out of my funk. I wanted to reignite my love for yoga and give meditation another shot. Finally, I took the plunge and booked my first retreat ever with them, and I’m so happy I did. The value for money is amazing, with three delicious vegan meals a day. My private room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. They even threw in a free massage!
The daily classes kept me busy, but I also had time to relax in the sun or read a book. The restaurant area was a great place to unwind or sneak in a quick nap.
I had a blast with the yoga instructors, especially Naama in Wild Organic Yoga and Camilla in Yin Yoga. I also loved the SOMA breathing yoga workshop and Yoga Nidra classes.
I had such a good time that I ended up extending my stay for nearly a week (originally planned for just 3 nights).

April 26, 2019 at 12:00 amI didn’t really like the beds in the dorms. They’re comfy, but if you have an upper bunk, there’s no real ladder to climb up. But that’s just a small problem. The atmosphere in this place is incredibly relaxed, quiet, and peaceful. You can choose from different classes all day long. It’s not just practicing yoga or other stuff, the teacher also explains a lot so you learn a lot as well. The food was the best I’ve ever eaten in a hotel, fresh and super healthy. It’s a perfect place if you want some time by yourself. Still, you meet people because lots of them are alone as well. I would definitely come again!

April 16, 2019 at 12:00 amI wish the sea were closer (it takes 15mins by cab and 150/200baht). It would be nice if there was a free shuttle to the beach on a fixed time. More diversity in meditation would be interesting too. The daily program gets repetitive if you stay longer. But it’s not a big deal if you are not too experienced. The energy is great, and the place is wonderful in green. You can feel that the details have been thought out. I stayed in the dorm for 11 nights, it was very clean, with bed sheets and towels changed every day. The staff are sweet and helpful. The food is amazing. All of the yoga teachers were nice, and it was good to experience different styles.

March 27, 2019 at 12:00 amI only complaint about my stay there was the sleeping situation. In all the other hostels I stayed at in Thailand, the dorm beds had their own curtains for a little bit of privacy, and were much more comfortable. It’s ironic that so much of the focus during the yoga and meditation sessions was on alignment and taking care of your body, only for us to sleep on the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever experienced in my life. If they changed that in the dorms, it would make the experience practically perfect! This retreat exceeded my expectations. I met amazing people, both teachers and participants, enjoyed incredible food, and experienced great yoga. They were beginner-friendly, but also accommodating to more advanced participants who seemed to enjoy themselves as well. The retreat offers a pool and a steam room, and you can choose to attend all the classes or do your own thing. The energy there is incredible and I had a wonderful time.

March 16, 2019 at 12:00 amWhen I arrived, I had to pay the balance of my bill but I didn’t know they add 4% if you pay with a card. Just a heads up. The Yoga classes were quite crowded and the instructor talked a lot. The smell in my bathroom was not pleasant, but I was prepared for it from reading reviews on TripAdvisor. The room I stayed in was very spacious with a lovely view over the pool. They provide a kettle, fridge, and free water in the room. The free pick up and drop off to the ferry was really convenient. The food was amazing and there was always tea, coffee, and water available. I liked the variety of yoga classes and meditation options. Meditation with Ali and Jo was fantastic. The massages with “Apple” were amazing. If you want to go out for the day, they can arrange a taxi for a fee. There’s also a 4-day walking meditation that Wonderland offers. February 2, 2019 at 12:00 amThey didn’t stick to the promises they made when planning the program. The yoga classes were meant for beginners, but they covered a wide range of styles. Unfortunately, the room I got wasn’t what I expected – no terrace, seating area, or view like they said. The room would’ve been fine for a short stay, but if you’re looking to improve your yoga skills or go to a serious yoga school, this place might not be the best fit. However, if you just want a relaxing resort with healthy food and a taste of spirituality, this place could be perfect for you. The food was great, the rooms were clean, most of the staff were friendly, and the pool area was nice. February 1, 2019 at 12:00 amI found a criticism that the yoga level was too intense for me, even though I tried Level 1. It felt hard on my body due to my existing issues. There weren’t enough alternative poses for those with limitations. I also felt instructors should have asked about any issues or pregnancies in the class.
I think it’d be helpful if someone explained how the retreat works during check-in. It was our first yoga retreat, so we had nothing to compare it to. However, my son and I found the facilities, food, instructors, and accommodation to be top-notch. (My son was worried about having enough food!)
We enjoyed every minute and our stay went by too quickly. We plan to come back at the end of the year. January 28, 2019 at 12:00 amThe hot water in the bathroom wasn’t working properly, so I moved from a dorm room to a private one. The dorm room was too crowded with girls and the ventilation and AC weren’t great. There wasn’t enough storage space, so I had to put my things on the floor. The beds were high and noisy, which was a bother to my neighbor below when I needed to get up at night.

January 26, 2019 at 12:00 amThe rooms were pristine and spacious with two toilets for a 6-person dorm, which is perfect. But in my opinion, concrete Western-style houses are a wrong choice for a tropical climate because they increase energy consumption above acceptable levels. January 17, 2019 at 12:00 amThe hideout had amazing and clean facilities like hammocks, a sauna, and a pool, tucked away in nature. Don’t forget to bring your own soap and mosquito repellent though. The food was absolutely fantastic, surpassing excellence. It was healthy, clean, and incredibly delicious, showcasing the diversity of vegan cuisine across different cultures. The yoga sessions were top-notch, suitable for both beginners and those at an intermediate level.

January 4, 2019 at 12:00 amJust a suggestion: it would be great if the beds in the dorms got shelves and their own little lamps. The atmosphere was great, the food fantastic, and the staff friendly and helpful. The yoga classes were varied, with passionate instructors teaching at different levels. There was lots of tropical greenery, various meditation techniques, and thought-provoking discussions. Plus, there was space to socialize or reflect in a hammock, a steam sauna, and a pool – it was a dream!

January 2, 2019 at 12:00 amWhile I was there, the center experienced major flooding, and many people lost all or most of their personal items. Some services, like the pool, were also affected and unusable throughout my stay.
I felt disappointed that no gesture of goodwill or discounts were offered to customers who had their retreat experience disrupted or suffered personal losses.
Unfortunately, I found the dorm to be less comfortable than I had anticipated. The lack of shelving and lights on the top bunks made it inconvenient and uncomfortable for longer visits.
On the bright side, the food and restaurant area was the heart of wonderland for me. It was a cozy meeting place with delicious food and great coffee every day. The variety of yoga and meditation classes offered was also impressive.

December 23, 2018 at 12:00 amYoga classes can get really busy and sometimes they’re not the best fit for beginners or those who are less physically able. The instructors don’t always offer modifications for injuries or different abilities. As someone who has been teaching yoga for a while, I’ve noticed that some of the classes are clearly geared towards more advanced students, which can be risky for beginners.
But on the bright side, the community vibe is awesome and the food options are varied and delicious at the buffet-style setup. They’re also accommodating for those with food allergies. Overall, the classes are diverse and well-taught, just not the most beginner-friendly.

December 22, 2018 at 12:00 amThe dorm is clearly tough, especially if you have the top bunk… with no railing and a super narrow ladder. There’s a water leak in the bathroom. The place is beautiful and the food is delicious.

December 16, 2018 at 12:00 amThe public restroom toilets outside the yoga studio were not working very well (but the ones in my room were great). Also, they really need to redo the road going into the area because it’s super bumpy. The food and yoga instructors were excellent, though. And I loved the sense of community there.

December 16, 2018 at 12:00 amSome yoga classes are very crowded, so they should add a 6am class to alleviate the crowded 8am class. There are lots of yoga classes, meditation sessions, and specials to choose from. They also offer off-campus activities. The steam room, when working, is great. The pool is small but good for cooling down and catching some sun. The place is nice and clean. The food is vegan and freshly made daily. People from all over the world come here!

December 6, 2018 at 12:00 amThere were so many people at this retreat that the classes always seemed jammed packed. I really would have enjoyed smaller classes with fewer people. The beds felt pretty hard, but after visiting other places in Thailand, we realized this is pretty standard. Still, with how much we spent there, I would have loved a nice fluffy mattress. From check in to check out, they treated us like VIP’s. Everyone was so nice. They served delicious and healthy food buffet style. Our rooms were cozy and peaceful, making me feel like I was in a fancy treehouse. The yoga room was beautifully placed next to the river, allowing us to see and hear the water trickling by.

And let’s talk about the food – it was amazing.
Surprisingly, I ended up meeting some wonderful people at Wonderland. Everyone was welcoming, warm, and grateful to be there. November 5, 2018 at 12:00 amI loved everything! As a yoga and meditation newbie, I was a bit nervous about coming, but as soon as I walked in, all my worries disappeared. The welcoming staff really helped me unwind.
Going from a meat eater to vegan was a big change for me, but I’m actually considering going vegan for a week each month now. The food was just amazing – no other way to put it. The variety and flavors were out of this world. Friday lunch with hummus, falafel, and couscous was my favorite!
The classes were fantastic, both relaxing and challenging at the same time. The whole atmosphere was laid-back, so if you didn’t feel like joining a class and just wanted to relax by the pool, that was totally fine too.

October 28, 2018 at 12:00 am1. I enjoyed my stay at Wonderland, but I have some constructive feedback. They should make it clear that this retreat is very hands-off in terms of facilitation. I was greeted at check-in, but didn’t interact much with the staff (except for questions) until check-out.
2. It was nice to have different yoga instructors, but since none of them lived on site and there were so many, it was hard to connect with them. I was surprised by the number of instructors, and never had the same one twice. However, I appreciated that each had their own specialty classes.
3. In most pictures of Wonderland, yoga is shown in a beautiful indoor space. I chose this retreat based on those pictures, wanting to do yoga indoors away from the heat and bugs. Upon arrival, I found that indoor space was under renovation with loud construction, and most classes were held outside. This should have been communicated on the website for guests to consider.
4. It was revealed that we were all paying high season prices during low season in Thailand. They should make their prices public, as they couldn’t even tell me at the resort.
I had a great time at Wonderland. The facility is beautiful, set in the jungle with mountains and a stream. Even in a dorm, the facilities are new and well-maintained, making it worth the money. The food was amazing, as most reviews mention. Some guests were there just for the food! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the steam room was fantastic. The wifi was good for those who needed to work, like me. I left feeling relaxed and will definitely recommend it to others.

October 16, 2018 at 12:00 amThe location. It was pretty close to the main road, so the exhaust fumes were definitely noticeable. The next beach is quite far away too; quite an adventure to get there by foot. The so-called secret beach turned out to be pretty shallow and littered.
Point number 2. The loud music or constant noise in the restaurant. Maybe trendy young people today need that. But it kind of ruined the retreat vibe. Each of the 6 teachers had their own unique style and they all helped me progress with their tips. I was most impressed by Alon. His physically-oriented, scientific approach gave yoga the grounding it needed. Plus, the food was incredibly diverse and healthy.

October 10, 2018 at 12:00 amI didn’t like the massage area. The mattress looked worn and only had a thin sheet on it. Another person was right beside me, and the two masseurs talked in Thai the whole time, which I thought was rude. I think they should have more privacy, considering how personal massages are. The peaceful setting gave me a chance to think, but I could still be around others if I wanted, without feeling torn.

September 10, 2018 at 12:00 amI highly recommend the Wonderland stay to everyone, whether you’re interested in a full 7 hours of intensive yoga and meditation or just want to relax by the pool. It’s suitable for all yoga levels, from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners. The food is amazing with plenty of buffet options, and the staff, especially the ladies at the reception, are super pleasant and helpful. Wonderland exudes love and positive energy, nestled in the local jungle with lush green trees and a serene river. There are plenty of tranquil spots for meditation, with hammocks and small shalas scattered around. The pool is nice as well. I STRONGLY recommend it!
Surprisingly, the people and guests at Wonderland are not just “hippies” – during my 30-day stay, everyone I met was educated, pleasant, and just downright nice. While the location is a bit off the beaten path, a taxi ride to the town with all its shops, night markets, and secret beach usually costs around $3-4 per person, or even less if you’re sharing the ride. The villas for two are beautiful, but the shared dorm accommodation where I stayed was clean, comfortable, and always stocked with cold water in the fridge.
One thing I really appreciated was the option to refill my water bottle with fresh, cold water at multiple stations throughout Wonderland – pretty awesome! They provide everything you need for yoga – mats, blocks, belts, cushions – and the same goes for meditation. I can wholeheartedly recommend Wonderland and I can’t wait to go back soon.

September 4, 2018 at 12:00 amI did not get what I expected from the staff, atmosphere, and site itself. The reception staff and instructors fell short of my expectations. They seemed to act like they were better than the guests. The instructors seemed to only hang out with each other and were not friendly at all, even sitting separately during meals. The reception staff were nonchalant at best and unhelpful at worst. Because of the staff’s attitudes and the overall vibe, my experience at Wonderland felt more like a party resort for 18-30 year olds rather than the peaceful retreat I was promised. Despite the beautiful jungle setting, the resort itself looked a bit like a construction zone in some areas. However, the accommodation, facilities, and food were top-notch.

August 5, 2018 at 12:00 amThe only downside was that breakfast didn’t start until 8, same time as the Yoga classes. July 29, 2018 at 12:00 amI loved everything about this place! The only thing to keep in mind is that breakfast starts at 8am, which is when the first yoga class begins. So if you do the 8am yoga class, you can’t have breakfast until after (9:30am). But don’t worry, there are always bananas available for a pre-yoga snack, and you can also get a takeaway box for food at meal times (I recommend fresh fruit).
Honestly, I’m struggling to find anything I didn’t like!
– The food was amazing and there was so much of it.
– The staff were incredibly kind and caring.
– I made lifelong friends with the other guests.
– There were plenty of classes to choose from, not just yoga and meditation but also special sessions like lectures and inner healing therapies.
– The atmosphere was so relaxed with no strict schedule.
– The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great amenities.
– The resort had a fantastic pool and steam room, and lots of cozy areas to relax near the river.
– They even offered a free smoothie or coconut every day, along with unlimited tea and coffee. And the coffee was made to order with cacao and coconut milk!
The fact that so many people wanted to extend their stay says it all. I’ll definitely be back someday.

Normally not vegans, but the diverse range of plant-based meals has us eager to make the switch. The yoga styles, meditations, workshops, and therapies offered a wealth of variety. The reiki experience was truly incredible. We mingled with people of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds, making our stay peaceful and rejuvenating. Leaving was not something we wanted to do!

June 14, 2018 at 12:00 amEverything was great. Some classes appealed to me more than others, but that’s normal. Yoga and meditation classes were great, and the lectures were interesting. The vegan buffet is unbelievably good!

June 9, 2018 at 12:00 amI noticed some construction happening during my stay at Wonderland. It wasn’t too disruptive, but it’s worth mentioning for anyone planning a visit soon. I absolutely loved every minute of my time there. The classes, the food, the staff, the guests – everything was amazing! It was a fantastic experience that not only benefited me physically but also mentally. I feel like my stay provided me with essential tools to move forward in my life, and I’m grateful for that.

June 5, 2018 at 12:00 amThis place is just amazing! The food is excellent (I’m not a vegan, but I didn’t miss the meat at all!). The yoga teachers are great and there are lots of different classes to try. The staff is friendly. The lectures and special events were really interesting. All the facilities are clean and fresh. It’s all good vibes only and I really hope to go back someday.
