Day 1: Welcome to Nyuh Bali

The retreat will be held at Ubud Nyuh Bali Resort and Spa, which is located in Lodtunduh Village, South of Ubud. The resort is surrounded by peaceful greenery, tropical plants, and beautiful gardens. If you’re worried about the distance, don’t be! It’s only 7 kilometers away from Ubud Center, and they even provide a free shuttle service to take you there.

The program had amazing inclusions like breathwork classes, yoga classes, reiki, massages, and a mouthwatering food menu. Our resort offers a variety of amazing activities that focus on healing and culture. The gardens here are absolutely stunning and provide a peaceful atmosphere. The food is top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. They are incredibly friendly and patient.

Some days at the resort are pretty busy, while others are quite relaxed. I wish I had planned my schedule in advance to have a better balance. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, and I’m grateful that they checked my room multiple times to ensure the bug issue was resolved. Overall, I had a fantastic time at the pool villa.

Luckily, Tari immediately offered to move me to a quieter room. I really appreciated their joyful and friendly attitude. They always had a smile on their face and the whole crew was incredibly respectful, always ready to help and guide. The healing instructors and Spa staff created a calming atmosphere and spread positive energy to everyone. The resort is perfectly located away from the noise of the city, giving a relaxing sense of being in the “jungle”. This was my first time in Bali and it was the most peaceful and calming experience, thanks to the well-organized retreat by the resort. I want to thank Tari and others for taking such good care of me and ensuring that I had the best possible experience. The Balinese activities were not only fun but also provided valuable insights into local traditions and culture. Sending my blessings to the entire team I met there!

September 13, 2023 at 12:00 amI have to say, the only thing I didn’t like was the construction next door. It was sometimes noisy when we were at the restaurant, but that wasn’t the resort’s fault. Thankfully, it wasn’t a big issue for us because we were too busy enjoying the activities and our beautiful villa.
Oh my gosh, where do I even begin? We absolutely loved everything about this place! The staff was incredible – always friendly and accommodating. They took care of every little detail to make our stay unforgettable! And the villa… oh my goodness, it was absolutely gorgeous!
The whole resort is stunning, but what really stood out to me was the people. Tari, our retreat coordinator, was absolutely amazing! She was so kind, generous, and always there to help us. The yoga classes with Pebi and the other instructors were incredible. Pebi is simply amazing! And let me tell you, our breathwork session with Gus Wira was mind-blowing! He is so incredibly talented! The rest of the staff, like Eca, Arya, and the restaurant staff, always greeted us with a smile and provided the best service.
I honestly recommend the 10-day Balinese Healing Yoga retreat to everyone. It’s such a comprehensive package that includes cultural healing activities throughout Bali, while still allowing you to enjoy the hotel and all the amenities and classes they offer.
And let’s not forget about the spa services! They were absolutely mind-blowing. I loved that the retreat included multiple massages, and let me tell you, I loved every single one of them!
I am truly grateful to the entire staff for making this one of the best holidays I’ve ever had.

Or maybe I missed an explanation about how it fit into the overall process. I had booked a 10-day healing retreat with various programs and teachers, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. I’m so grateful for all the amazing teachers and especially Tari, who was like a personal assistant making sure everything went smoothly. The hotel itself is fantastic – the food is delicious, the people are friendly, and it’s so peaceful. If you’re looking to escape the city, they even provide a free shuttle service. Overall, the things I experienced really helped me progress and heal. ?

The retreat offers a variety of activities and treatments including yoga, pilates, reiki, sound healing, and Shirodara. And let me tell you, everything is organized and delivered exceptionally well.
The team who leads the activities and healings are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. They really know their stuff. The food is absolutely beautiful and the villa is amazing. Plus, the kitchen is super flexible and can accommodate any special requests or preferences.
What sets this retreat apart is the Balinese cultural lessons in the afternoons. The staff who hold these sessions are extremely friendly and warm. And speaking of the staff, the whole team at the resort is exceptional. They are always attentive, helpful, polite, and lovely. I must give a special shoutout to Tari for being incredible throughout my entire experience.
Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with your family, this resort is perfect for you. The retreat is well-structured and allows you to go at your own pace. You can choose to participate in every activity or treatment, or simply take it easy and relax. Personally, I would definitely return to Ubud Nyuh Resort for another retreat. July 11, 2023 at 12:00 amI had the most perfect time at the “Ubud Nyhu Bali” for a 6-day Yoga Retreat! As soon as I arrived, I instantly felt at home. My Villa was like a paradise, complete with its own pool. The staff was absolutely incredible – always smiling, working hard to make sure I felt comfortable, and they were so polite and friendly. I can’t even begin to describe how delicious the food was. The retreat itself is like a green oasis, and everything is kept clean. I had such an amazing time and now I feel so relaxed.
I want to give a big thank you to Tari, my Retreat Specialist and Organization Talent. You did such a wonderful job. I also want to thank the guide and driver for my Healing Ceremony, Ngurah, Yogateacher Jane, the Breath Healing Teacher Gusti, and all the other amazing staff. I loved that they provided me with three meals and a snack, but I’m not sure if it would be enough for others. Right from the start, Nyuh Bali Resort impressed me with their amazing hospitality and welcoming atmosphere. The team’s dynamic and strong work ethic ensured that the entire program was smooth and relaxing.
The schedule was great because it allowed me to go at my own pace. They served three meals along with a snack and juice every day, and the menu had a fantastic variety of options with amazing flavors.
I was pleasantly surprised by the sound healing and reiki private sessions. I didn’t know much about these traditional therapies beforehand, so having private sessions in the beginning really helped me appreciate their effects.
The yoga sessions, whether private or in a group, held a special place in my heart. The pace was perfect for beginners, but after five days of yoga, I could really see my progress. Ms. Jane’s yoga and sound healing classes were absolutely wonderful, leaving me feeling energized and rejuvenated.
In addition to the program activities, the facilities like the pools, restaurant, and spa exceeded all my expectations.
A big shout-out to Tari for taking care of me throughout the entire program. She organized my sessions, made sure I had my meals, suggested helpful activities, and overall made the experience even more relaxing than I expected.
I just loved being able to spend my days listening to the sounds of nature and not having to worry about a thing.
I will definitely be coming back again. The whole experience was truly out of this world!
