I didn’t find anything lacking in the course. I really wished it could have been longer so we could have more time for discussions and delving deeper into the philosophy part with a group. The teacher was the best part! She had a very authentic teaching style and was super knowledgeable. She answered questions patiently and approached students with a lot of love and support. It’s rare to come across a teacher like her.

The Shala and location were also incredible. I had a great time with the people who shared this experience with me. The communication and organization were spot-on! I would definitely recommend this course and I’m excited to come back for YIN YTT level 2.

The place, the classes, the teachers, everything was amazing. I learned a lot about yoga, both in practice and theory. I’m not fluent in English, but the teachers are always there to answer any questions, they’re very helpful.

However, if you don’t speak any English at all, this training may not be right for you, you need to have a basic understanding.

Overall, I highly recommend this training!

The Seminar amazed me! It was such a unique experience that I will never forget! I got to meet so many positive people in a beautiful location and enjoyed amazing food. The teachers were the best, especially Himanshu Bahuguna. He has so much passion for Yoga and Teaching, and you can feel it every second of the training. It was such a gift to be able to train with him in Europe. Faye Balomenou was also incredible! She supported us throughout the training and motivated us to give our best. Her knowledge in Yoga Philosophy was impressive, and I had the best Yoga Nidra experience ever during the Palairos seminar with Faye. I 100% recommend it! Don’t hesitate to book it! I’m already looking forward to the 300h! Namaste.

The way the Anatomy was taught was very scattered and there wasn’t enough discussion on how it relates to different poses in yoga. It would be better if we could have the exam right after the lecture so we can use it as part of our training. Himanshu’s teaching of Pranayama, Flow, and alignment was excellent.

From day 1, Himanshu and Faye made this journey unforgettable. They covered everything from practical aspects to theory and offered extra support whenever needed.

Spryos, with his absolute passion for anatomy, made learning easy and enjoyable. And of course, the support didn’t end after class.

Our three teachers combined create a truly immersive training experience. If you ever feel unprepared or worried about what comes next, rest assured they will address all your concerns.

The sense of family created here is amazing. Everyone shares the same reasons for being here and genuinely wants each other to succeed in our practices. By the end of the training, you’ll be ecstatic to have shared this incredible journey with such amazing people.

And let’s not forget about the incredible staff. They’re kind, generous, hardworking, and always prioritize our comfort.

In conclusion, if you have an interest in yoga, this is an experience you won’t regret.

I got so much more than I expected from this training. Our teachers, Faye, Ippoliti, and Spyros, are incredibly passionate about what they do and they really know how to share their knowledge and love for yoga with us. They make the classes straightforward, detailed, and even fun at times. Whenever I had a concern, question, or problem during my stay at Kosta Maria, both the teachers and hotel staff were extremely helpful. These three weeks of training are intense, but trust me, you won’t regret choosing to do it if you want to learn more about yoga and take your practice to the next level. You’ll learn so many new things and realize just how far you can push yourself. Plus, it’s an amazing opportunity to meet people from all over the world and grow together. So, why not give it a go?

I suggest that the groups have different age options. I prefer a group with people aged 30 and above. This training introduced me to yoga in all its beautiful ways. The location, a small family-owned hotel, was wisely chosen. We felt at home in every way possible. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff treated us like family, always showing us love. Everyone was incredibly helpful. When I needed groceries, Stella, a staff member, took me to a market that was about a 25-minute walk away.

The training was intense, both physically and spiritually. There were times when we all broke down emotionally. However, with the support of our amazing instructors, we were able to grow every day. Faye and Ippo, our instructors, were perfect in their own unique ways. Faye’s alignment classes and Ippo’s pranayama classes were exceptional. Although we had less time with him, our anatomy instructor, Sypros, was also an incredible person. His passion for anatomy was evident, and he motivated us in many ways.

Overall, this was an amazing experience for me personally. I highly recommend it to anyone who has love, dedication, and time for yoga. ???

I completed my 200h vinyasa teacher training with YogaUnion in June 2023 in Ubud, Bali, and let me tell you, it was an absolute game-changer. The experience went way beyond what I could have ever imagined. Not only did I learn everything I wanted to know about yoga, but I also had the privilege of being taught by the most incredible group of teachers.

But there’s one person who truly stood out for me – my lead teacher, Himanshu. I can confidently say that he is the best yoga teacher I’ve ever had. His knowledge about everything related to yoga, from asanas to pranayama and philosophies, is truly exceptional. And what’s even more impressive is his ability to adapt and work with students of all levels, coming from different parts of the world.

But it’s not just his teaching skills that make Himanshu exceptional. This man is genuinely passionate about what he does, and it shows in every aspect of his teaching. He’s always there, ready to support and guide his students in every possible way. And trust me, I’m not the only one who feels this way. Many of my fellow classmates share the same admiration and love for Himanshu. He really is the heart and soul of this training.

We need more teachers like Himanshu in this world – teachers who are not only knowledgeable and experienced but also truly dedicated and passionate about their craft. I’m forever grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from Himanshu, and I know that he has made a lasting impact on my yoga journey.

I cannot recommend this 200-hour Vinyasa YTT in Paleros enough. It completely surpassed my expectations of what a 200-hour YTT could offer. Faye Balomenou, our incredible instructor, teaches yoga with a contagious enthusiasm and is eager to share her extensive knowledge with us. Her alignment classes are thorough and precise, showcasing her experience and confidence in teaching and adjusting. The practices themselves are intense and motivating, pushing us to new levels.

Eleni Chantzara, another fantastic teacher, perfectly complements Faye. Her teachings in Pranayama and various workshops are thoughtful and valuable. Not to mention, her beautiful flows and gentle energy are a joy to experience.

Spyros Kapitsinos, who leads the anatomy classes, is truly captivating. He effortlessly keeps us engaged, even after long and tiring practices. His knowledge is extensive, and he empowers us in our yoga practice by providing insight into our own anatomy.

The hotel where the training takes place is situated in a breathtaking location, just a half-hour walk outside of Paleros town. With its own private beach just a few staircases away, it’s paradise. If walking isn’t your thing, there’s also a pool to enjoy. Everywhere you look, you’re met with stunning views of the sea and mountains. The upper and lower Shala’s contribute to the incredible atmosphere for practice.

To top it all off, the hotel staff is friendly, the rooms are immaculate, and the food is fresh and delicious. It’s mostly a healthy and vegetarian take on Greek dishes, although some may find it a bit heavy.

Overall, I highly recommend this experience. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was really good and tasty, but here are a few recommendations: Maybe try adding more variety in the choice of cereal and fruit for breakfast. Personally, I prefer the porridge to be a bit thicker and less soup-like. It would also be nice to have a different dish instead of the stuffed bell peppers and tomatoes for the third time.

This yoga teacher training completely exceeded my expectations. The teachers were absolutely amazing. They shared their knowledge with so much dedication and passion that you can’t help but feel that yoga has deeply impacted your body, mind, and soul. It’s truly a wonderful feeling. Coming back home, I felt like my true self, and I was even inspired to continue my own practice and teach others, which I didn’t expect after just 3 weeks.

However, reaching this result was sometimes a rollercoaster of physical and psychological states. We were constantly pushed to our limits in order to discover our true capabilities and, in the end, blossom into our fullest potential. Fay is like a diamond with many different sides to her personality and teaching style. She can be critical when necessary to help us understand what we’re doing, but she also knows how to make us laugh. Eleni is such a precious soul. Her way of presenting breathwork and meditation is so enticing, and her techniques are easy to grasp. Her flows in the yoga classes were both challenging and enjoyable.

Spyros taught the anatomy class with lots of humor, making it interesting and logical. Surprisingly, I was able to remember the important topics for the exam quite easily. The KostaMaria Family and staff are wonderful. The food is delicious, and the rooms are always super clean. And let’s not forget the best part: just 106 steps and you can swim in crystal clear water with a stunning view. Don’t miss out on that!

I recommend bringing your own yoga mat or a travel version to place over the existing yoga mats. The training I attended took place in the Earth shala of YogaUnion, nestled in the beautiful rice fields of Ubud. My accommodation was conveniently located just 2 meters away from the shala. While there was no pool on-site, we were able to use the pools at nearby places where other participants stayed.

For meals, we dined at a restaurant that was only a 3-minute walk away. The surrounding area also has some great spas and cafes, with something different to explore every day. While not every meal may suit everyone’s taste, the buffet always offered something delicious.

My main teacher, Gourav, is incredibly knowledgeable about yoga, pranayama, and alignment of asanas. He prepares students excellently for becoming yoga teachers. I also want to mention Menik, our amazing anatomy teacher, who could answer every single one of our questions and relate the information to yoga poses.

Laila, our philosophy teacher, has a unique energy and a soothing voice. She also offers a 50-hour yin yoga teacher training. Throughout the training, we had a mix of different yoga classes such as yin, restorative, acro, ashtanga, nidra, but the focus was mainly on vinyasa. The classes were more intermediate-level, but you’ll learn and grow stronger each day.

Our group consisted of 19 lovely participants, which made the training enjoyable and a truly special experience. I highly recommend it!

I loved everything about it, but sometimes the restaurant was too crowded and they always ran out of food. It was a bit disappointing. However, what I really loved was how well everyone took care of us. Himanshu was absolutely amazing with his knowledge. Even though there were 30 of us, he managed to take care of each and every one of us and teach us.

Laila is such a loving and motivated person. She inspired me and brought so much love into my soul.

Fabien was always there during the training sessions. He helped me correct my mistakes almost every time. I’m grateful for his company during the training. Sometimes, he would give me a look and say, “You can do it, Sherin.” Those words meant the world to me.

And Luca, he was like a ray of sunshine in our group. Whenever we had any problem, even personal ones, he was always there to support us. He was like our emotional protector. His smile and positive energy were so strong that we never felt lonely.

Gustis Garden water Shala had rooms filled with mold and my belongings, such as clothes and shoes, were ruined. I believe the price I paid for the accommodation was too expensive. Luckily, I brought my own yoga mat, as the ones provided were stained and dirty, emitting a terrible odor. The Wi-Fi was incredibly weak and slow. On the other hand, the training itself was excellent and unforgettable. It felt like finding a second family. I am extremely grateful to have had Himanshu Bahuguna as my mentor and trainer. Now, I am a yoga teacher and the knowledge I gained from Himanshu will serve me throughout my entire yoga teacher journey. Last year, a friend recommended YogaUnion for my YTT, and I am thrilled to have spent these three weeks with such beautiful souls. Thank you all for your professionalism, kindness, and open-mindedness. I have learned so much from each of you, and this experience has truly changed my life. I will definitely recommend Bali or Greece as destinations for anyone wishing to do their YTT with YogaUnion. I am eagerly anticipating the 300h YTT next year and will continue to seek out Himanshu’s teachings wherever he may be. Thank you all, and I hope to see you again very soon! ?????

Unfortunately, I had some uncomfortable experiences with the location. The videos and photos I had been seeing on the site for the past 5 years (rice fields) didn’t match up with the actual place. It turns out that it wasn’t a new venue, but rather another one they use when the first one is fully booked. It would have been nice if they had informed us about the multiple venues so we could choose the specific one we wanted, like the rice fields instead of down the rabbit hole.

I also had a privacy issue with the neighbor, but thankfully Ourania, the owner of Yoga Union, was very thoughtful and assured me that they would take care of avoiding such inconveniences in the future.

Aside from those issues, the place itself is nice. The bedrooms are new and the staff are very friendly, especially the instructors. They all have a high level of knowledge and a great attitude. They were always available to answer questions and provide information.

I want to give a special thanks to Marina and Anna Viktoria for their amazing classes filled with kindness, love, and enthusiasm. You will always have a special place in my heart. And a big thank you to Gourav and Laila as well, you guys are incredible and talented teachers. Last but not least, thank you to Menik, my amazing anatomy teacher. Your enthusiasm for fascia and tendons made us all love it, even if it sounds a bit strange!

Completing my 200hr and 300hr in vinyasa yoga was amazing, and the 50hr yin TTC was the perfect finishing touch. The teacher was incredibly knowledgeable and inspiring, and their unique energy made me feel supported and nurtured. Thank you again to YogaUnion, to the fantastic teachers and support team, for reminding us all of what life is truly about. Keep up the amazing work of spreading love and kindness in the world!

Mixing individuals with varied levels of yoga experience can lead to advanced students not receiving the maximum benefit from their training, as instructors are forced to slow down their teaching. However, this issue could also be present in other yoga teacher trainings.

Personally, I find sessions such as the Kriya & Cacao ceremony to be unimportant. I prefer yoga workshops that focus on skill development which directly impacts my own practice and teaching. It is essential to have knowledgeable and patient instructors who can support growth.

Additionally, the accommodations provided are excellent, with delicious meals and the sweetest staff. The yoga workshops themselves are also of high quality. The location is convenient as it is close to Ubud center. Furthermore, the shala where the training takes place is intimate, clean, and well-maintained.

The Teacher Training exceeded my expectations. I have to admit, as a fairly new Yoga practitioner, the tight and packed schedule could be quite challenging at times. However, it was amazing to see how I gradually grew in my yoga practice and on a personal level too. I realized that Yoga is so much more than just physical exercise during our Philosophy classes. I started implementing the Yogic lifestyle into my daily life off the mat as well.

The accommodation in the rice fields was wonderful and clean, just a few minutes away from the shala. As students are spread across different guest houses in the rice fields, it was a unique experience. Moreover, the food provided at the restaurant was extremely delicious.

I strongly recommend this experience to everyone interested in delving deeper into Yoga, even if you don’t plan on becoming a teacher in the end.

In a place like these rice fields, nothing can go wrong. Nature surrounds you with its huge green leaves, the weather is wonderful, and you can hear cute noises from frogs, geckos, birds, and water that sound like a perfect nature soundtrack.

The shala where we practiced always took good care and kept things clean. They were well organized with every meal (they even took care of my gluten-free needs every time) and had a well-planned training schedule. It feels like a safe, cozy, and professional place.

I absolutely adore our philosophy and anatomy teachers! They are incredible, so knowledgeable. However, I think it would be beneficial if they were a tad more prepared for some of the questions that people may ask.

The people you meet at the YTT are just amazing! From the teachers to your “classmates” and even the restaurant and accommodation staff, everyone is so great.

It didn’t quite meet my expectations. They promised us a different yoga teacher as well as Himansu, but we didn’t receive it. I also signed up to do other styles of yoga, like Tantra, Yin, and pregnancy yoga. The course mentioned that we would be fully educated on these styles, but except for a one-time class, we weren’t taught enough to be able to teach them in my own practice. They focused on asana and the mind, but it lacked soul and leadership skills. Our group was challenging, with some members being opinionated and rude at times. They would fall asleep during lessons, miss class, lie down during meditation, and be on their phones. And there was no real leader to control this behavior. The course felt like a trial before they could offer a 300hr course. I would have been satisfied if they had told me this before I booked and if the price was lower. Also, the accommodation, food, and individual teachers were just okay.

Chris brought us to an awesome class experience at a resort with live music. It was really cool! He taught in a way that made it easy to follow and participate, and he’s just a super fun and relaxed person. The food and cafe area at the resort were really nice too!
The surroundings were amazing. It felt so peaceful being in the rice fields, and there were also two massage places nearby!
I stayed in a lovely homestay for my accommodation.

The group sizes were way too big. We had two groups, each consisting of around 30 students. I really wish they were smaller, so that we could have a stronger connection with our teachers and they could effectively correct and assist us in our journey. The yoga teachers were amazing. Faye, Eleni, Alex, and Ippo possessed immense knowledge and were always there for us. I was also thrilled to have Angela; she put in so much effort and spread so much love and positive energy among us all. The staff at Kosta Maria were incredibly kind, taking care of each and every one of us. It’s not easy to cook for so many people with various allergies and dietary preferences, but they always managed to serve fresh and delicious meals. Great job!

I absolutely disliked the philosophy classes and I wasn’t thrilled about the alignment methodology either. I didn’t like the fact that they advertised a 30-person instructor training and then had two groups of 30 people at the same time. It was overwhelming and I think smaller groups create a different atmosphere. I did enjoy the opportunity to experience another country and the amazing beaches. The quality of the vinyasa classes was excellent, but the learning methodology sometimes left something to be desired. The food was delicious and locally sourced, which was unexpected but enjoyable. What stood out the most to me was the group of people I met.

I really enjoyed the course and my time there, but there are a few small things I would like to critique:

    – It was sometimes a bit difficult to leave the hotel due to the infrastructure in Palairos.
    – The food was good and they accommodated lactose-free/vegan diets, but the labeling and choices were sometimes strange. They could work on that a bit more and offer a greater variety of dishes.
    – I wish we had more opportunities to practice our own sequences, but I understand that there wasn’t much time since we had to learn a lot in a short amount of time.
    – It would have been better if the course was a couple of days longer. The teachers spent too much time on exams and I would have preferred more individualized attention for our personal flows. I know that might not be possible in real life though. (The other 200h courses I looked at were even shorter!)

    – Sometimes things weren’t well-planned and we didn’t always receive information or got it late. However, everything still worked out.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience and I am grateful for the opportunity to embark on this yoga journey. The course was intense and I learned a lot, just as I expected. The staff at Kosta Maria were kind and the location was beautiful!

Before the course, I had several expectations and I’m happy to say that they were all fulfilled:

    – I wanted the training to be physically challenging, and it definitely was!
    – I was looking for a holistic view on yoga, and they provided a good mix of perspectives.
    – I knew it would be intense and focused, but it was even more mentally demanding than I anticipated. Still, I’m glad I chose this intensive course instead of a year-long 200h program.
    – I didn’t want it to be overly spiritual, and they respected that. They introduced us to the spiritual aspects of yoga without pressuring us into things like chanting, which was nice.
    – Finally, I hoped to gain a better understanding of myself, and I can confidently say that I achieved that goal.

I am extremely grateful for all the knowledge I have gained.

The chefs made the food with love but it simply didn’t meet our expectations. They didn’t have any fresh juices, hardly any fresh fruit, and the meals in general were subpar. The menu had too much processed soy, not enough vegetable variety, and was not very balanced. If they had added a little creativity to the menu, it would have made all the difference.

The instructors were amazing, and you couldn’t ask for a better location.

I didn’t like Gourrav, he was the only instructor who didn’t sit well with me. He tried his best but his communication skills were seriously lacking. I don’t know if he struggled with getting his thoughts across or if he simply wasn’t a good speaker. His repetitive vocabulary in the Pranayam and vinyassa classes annoyed me, and it was disappointing to have him grade our final practical exams instead of Himanshu because his feedback was both poorly delivered and inaccurate. He’s just not on par with the other instructors at Yoga Union.

I also found the workshops on children’s yoga and prenatal yoga to be unproductive. Itta, the teacher, is a great person but not a good instructor. She had no structure in her classes and it felt like she was making things up as she went along. I would have preferred to delve deeper into yogic philosophy or have an ayurvedic clinician come in to talk about doshas or yogic diets. There were chapters in our textbook that we didn’t even cover!

On the positive side, I am extremely grateful for this experience! The teachers were passionate, knowledgeable, well-spoken, and engaging. I learned so much about yogic philosophy, history, anatomy, as well as yogic alignment and teaching structure. The shala was absolutely beautiful and I actually enjoyed the large class sizes. We had two classes going on at the same time and we all ate together, so there were always new people to meet. One class had around 30 people and the other had 18. I must mention that the Fire shala had a much nicer space than the Earth shala, so I highly recommend requesting to be placed in the Fire group.

Everyone who worked at Yoga Union was lovely to get to know, including the housekeepers, shala cleaners, and cooks. They were all thoughtful, generous, and kind. The rice fields provided a stunning backdrop for our living and practice. And let’s talk about the food – oh, the food! I’ll miss it so much. It was a perfect mix of Indonesian and global dishes, and as a vegan, I couldn’t have been happier.

Sometimes we had organizational hiccups, where communication about transportation or scheduling could be a bit disorganized or late. We relied solely on WhatsApp for communication, so if you weren’t on it, you wouldn’t get all the information you needed.

When we booked, we weren’t told that some people would be living off-campus. Personally, if I had to live off-campus, I wouldn’t have wanted to take the course.

In my opinion, there were moments when we needed to pay more attention to the physical conditions of the students. Not everyone was ready for all the poses we tried, and there were some minor injuries.

During my stay, the total of about 40 students were split into two groups. My group had 21 students. However, I was told that in some months, groups could be as large as 35 students. The group size was okay, but it definitely shouldn’t have been any bigger.

Personally, I would have loved to learn more about anatomy, sequencing, teaching methodology, and especially philosophy. It’s important to understand that this course only provided an introduction to these topics. There was a big difference in experiences between the two groups, as it depended on the personal style and teaching methodology of the teachers. Overall, I would have liked more alignment between the teachers.

With that being said, I had a great experience and would definitely do it again! The curriculum was quite comprehensive, covering anatomy, philosophy, alignment, and practical yoga. I really enjoyed the holistic approach. We had more theoretical lessons where we all sat on the floor, which was tiring at first. The combination of theory and practice was perfect for exploring and delving deeper into the concepts.

The quality of the teachers was good and everyone appreciated them. However, it was a surprise to find out which teachers would be teaching during the month you were there, as they weren’t known before booking.

The hotel staff at Kosta Maria were incredibly kind and accommodating. They were always ready to help and easy to have a laugh with. You really made it special! I loved the food, the regular meal times, and the high standard of cleanliness. Plus, my room had the best view of the ocean.

Lastly, I was blown away by the other students. They were caring, kind, always friendly, and a pleasure to be around. This community made everything so enjoyable, and you could always rely on them for help whenever it was needed.

The food could have had more variety. We kept having the same 5 or 6 recipes over and over again, and they were often too salty or too sweet for me. But not everyone felt the same way, I guess it’s just a matter of taste ? Before I booked the training, I spent a lot of time reading reviews from former students and I was skeptical. It sounded too good to be true. But this training completely changed my life. I wasn’t 100% sure I wanted to be a yoga teacher before, but now I can’t imagine doing anything else. Yoga makes me so happy and connected to my true self.
We were so lucky to have such an amazing group of students. Everyone genuinely cared about each other from the beginning. We spent three weeks in a loving and caring environment where we could fully dedicate ourselves to our practice. I made friends for life and I feel incredibly lucky about it!
The teachers, Rachel and Ippoliti (aka Ippo or Ippopo or Chop Chop), exceeded all expectations. I’ll remember their teaching and their personalities for the rest of my life. They didn’t just teach us what we needed to know for the exam, they also shared their experiences as yogis and human beings, inspiring me in countless ways.
Before the training, I had only been introduced to asana and pranayama. But learning about philosophy, anatomy, and alignment helped me deepen my practice in ways I never thought possible. There’s so much more I want to learn about yoga, it feels like an endless ocean of knowledge.
I want to give a big thank you to Kostas and his family for making this training so special! Lots of love.

In my group during the training, it had nothing to do with the training or the teachers. It was more about the people who signed up for the training. A lot of them were very judgmental, typical close-minded Westeners who only saw yoga as a workout and neglected the spiritual aspect. They were not open-minded or accepting, and there were many small groups and gossip. I wish we had accepted everyone and had a big group where everyone was treated equally. I really did not enjoy this, but I was able to blend it out. Maybe it was also because I think there were too many people in the Fire group. I wish we had known beforehand that there would be 30+ people in one group. Additionally, only the same, more dominant people mostly kept asking questions during lessons, making it harder for the quieter people to get the same out of the lessons. So it really depends on your personality; extroverted people may flourish more in this type of environment. I did not like the food as the vegan option left me very hungry. Often, there was not enough protein offered, and some meals, either lunch or dinner, had no protein at all. The teachers and the training itself were amazing. Although we only learned how to plan 30-minute lessons, we will be able to apply this knowledge to create 1-hour lessons, but we have to do this on our own time.

Me and 7 other students out of a group of 30 stayed at a different place instead of the actual accommodation. It was only a 5-minute car ride or a 20-minute walk away, so it wasn’t a big deal for me. The only problem was that our daily transportation to the main accommodation was often late, so we had to walk and ended up being late for class sometimes.

They advertised the training as Vinyasa/Ashtanga, but I personally think it was more focused on Vinyasa. However, they did cover various styles of yoga like Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra. Overall, my experience at YogaUnion was amazing. The teachers, Ippoliti, Rachel, and Eleni, were all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The classes were informative, and the teachers were always available to answer questions. The accommodation staff were also very kind and caring, and the food they provided was always delicious! However, I must give credit to the owner of the main hotel, who was warm and accommodating as they prepared the food for us students every day. I’m so grateful that I chose this YTT. The training couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s still hard to believe it actually happened!

Here’s what I loved the most:
    – The location was breathtaking. The shala was surrounded by peaceful ricefields, creating a serene environment. And the best part was that even though it felt isolated, it was still close to Ubud city center which was fantastic for satisfying my foodie cravings and going shopping.
    – The teachers, Fay, Himanshu, and Spyros, were absolutely amazing. They pushed us physically during the vinyasa practice, which was exactly what I needed. Plus, their sense of humor was key in motivating us and helping us remember important information. The intensity of the program over three weeks was challenging, but I had an absolute blast!
    – The organization was spot on. Everything was clear and well-planned. Plus, the accommodation and meals were conveniently located very close to the shala.

If you’re thinking about coming during the winter, just keep in mind that Greece can get pretty chilly. So make sure to pack some extra layers and warm clothes. Oh, let me tell you about my teacher training in Palairos, it was absolutely amazing!

Faye, the yoga instructor, is incredible. She’s a total pro and teaches in a straightforward way. Her instruction is crystal clear, and she really believes in what she teaches. Plus, she gives constructive feedback and pushes everyone to be their best. And Laila, she’s such a sweet soul and knows a ton about breath work, meditation, yin, and nidra yoga. But she’s also great at breaking down those tricky arm balancing poses. Together, Faye and Laila were the perfect balance. And let’s not forget about Jonas, the anatomy teacher. I absolutely loved his classes! Jonas has a gift for explaining complex topics in a way that’s easy to understand. If you get him for anatomy, you’re in for a treat (just be ready for his dry humor, haha).

I can’t thank these three enough for the incredible and enlightening teacher training. I learned so much and will be forever grateful. And let me tell you about the place we stayed in Palairos, called ‘foodpath’. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the beach and nestled among beautiful mountains. It’s a truly authentic Greek spot and absolutely stunning. The food there was so diverse and always made with fresh ingredients. And it tasted incredible! Adonis and Elli, the hosts, put so much love into everything they prepared. They were always there for us and took care of everything. Thank you both for opening up your home and making it feel like our own.

I highly recommend coming here for your teacher training. It’s an unforgettable experience and you’ll learn so much.

The atmosphere of the place was incredibly welcoming and the food was consistently fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety. The Hostel was beautiful and just a quick 5-minute stroll from the stunning sea. There were 13 of us in the course and I can confidently say that every single person had an incredible time and learned so much. I finally asked and paid for a double room, but ended up in a triple room. Despite that, I had a great experience overall. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, no props were provided for Yin Yoga alignments. It was a shame that communication about this could be improved so that students could bring their own props. However, my experience at YogaUnion was absolutely awesome.

The accommodation in Greece didn’t meet our expectations in terms of comfort. We dealt with numerous centipedes and other insects in our room every day because the door didn’t shut properly, leaving a small gap at the bottom. On top of that, there was no washing machine or closet provided. The promised daily cleaning of the bathroom’s rubbish bin only happened once a week, despite them asking us to dispose of used toilet paper in it. The cooked food was also quite repetitive and sometimes insufficient for everyone. Despite these accommodation issues, the teacher training itself was absolutely fantastic! The food and accommodation exceeded my expectations as well.

Those 3 weeks were some of the best in my life, and I highly recommend doing this program, even if you’re unsure about it. Don’t worry if you feel your practice isn’t strong enough because everyone starts with that mindset, and it doesn’t matter. Originally, I didn’t plan on teaching afterwards, but I ended up loving it and falling even more in love with yoga. Now, I want to start teaching and prepare for my 300-hour training!

I also had the opportunity to meet so many incredible people, and everyone was so friendly and lovely.

I wouldn’t change anything except for the food, which could be a bit more varied. But I understand that cooking for 20 girls with different dietary restrictions must not have been easy! This 3 week intensive course has been the most incredible experience of my life so far. Everything was absolutely amazing – the place, a very authentic Greek village, the hostel and the family who runs it, lovely people always ready to help and make sure we had everything we needed. The instructors, Fay, Spyros, and Ourania, were wonderful human beings who gave us much more than we expected. The shala and the breathtaking view, the yoga and meditation classes and workshops… I could talk about it all day. I’m so grateful I chose to go on this journey with the Yoga Union Bali family and I’m so excited for what’s to come. I’ve never felt so connected to life, nature, and people. Thank you so much for everything you did for us. I will always hold you in my heart, along with the other 19 incredible girls I had the chance to meet and now call family. I’m confident our paths will cross again because positive energy attracts positive people!

The food could have had more variety, but it still tasted good. Our shala was really crowded, and I wish we could have practiced in a bigger space. The whole combination of the location, activities, and the people I met there was truly life-changing. Nicol was an amazing teacher, and I learned so much about my body and the obstacles I face. Every morning, I eagerly anticipated pranayama and meditation with Kati, who showed me how to better understand and love myself. I enjoyed having a large group of people on the course because it allowed me to build a network with people from all over the world and see different levels of strength and flexibility, as well as what challenges people may face.

Nina and I didn’t have enough anatomy class and our philosophy class was not that great. The 108 sun solution is a terrible practice for this course. It left a lot of students feeling broken and exhausted. Personally, I should have skipped it completely. Our yoga teacher was really positive and knowledgeable, and Jones, the anatomy teacher, was excellent.

I really wanted to give a great review, but our philosophy instructor lacked confidence in the material she was teaching. Instead of focusing on the important topics and helping us prepare for the exam, she spent 2-3 days on them and then completely switched gears. We ended up doing random exercises like wandering around smelling flowers and touching rocks. It was frustrating because she discouraged questions, went off on tangents, and let some people dominate the discussion. This was especially frustrating because we needed to pass an exam based on concrete information.

When I asked her to concentrate on the exam material, she told me it couldn’t be covered in eight days and questioned how I expected her to do it. I didn’t think that was an appropriate response from an instructor. As a result, none of us felt adequately prepared for the exam and had to cram a lot of information at the last minute.

It would have been helpful to receive the training manual in PDF format before the retreat so we could study ahead of time. Although reading the recommended books was beneficial, I believe they should have been required reading to ensure everyone came to training mentally prepared. The retreat in Bali was a mix of work and enjoyment, so having more time to prepare would have allowed us to better enjoy the retreat itself.

Our alignment classes were outstanding, especially because we learned from Himanshu. He is an amazing instructor who is devoted, dynamic, and technically skilled. Not only is he knowledgeable about yoga, but he is also passionate about teaching it. Himanshu taught our class all the major alignment techniques and gave us practical knowledge on how to use them in our practice. He pushed me beyond my limits and expected the best from the entire class. Throughout the 23-day course, I saw significant improvements in my strength, stamina, and flexibility. I was able to attempt new poses that I had never tried before.

The best part was that Himanshu had us start teaching right away, which helped me feel fully prepared for my final demonstration. He guided us through each step slowly and methodically. Himanshu also excels at teaching more subtle aspects of yoga, such as breathwork. By the end of the course, I was able to go deeper into meditation and pranayama. Overall, he truly equipped me to become a better yoga practitioner.

I really liked everything about it. If you have any reservations, just let them go! The people, location, practice, and atmosphere were all amazing. I don’t even know where to begin and where to end. If you’re looking for a Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, you have to go with YogaUnion. They offer the whole package for a complete experience. Trust me, it’s worth it.

I did research and visited multiple Yoga Teacher Trainings in Bali before booking with YogaUnion. None of them compare to what they have to offer.

The yoga practice was excellent and the teachers were very thorough. My favorite part was the alignment classes. We spent 2 hours each day analyzing every posture. It was a great opportunity for discussion, demonstration, and practice.

Try to book early and request to join the rice fields group if it’s available.

I’m forever grateful for meeting all these amazing people, especially Ourania who organized everything. Words can’t describe her energy and kindness.

    Sincerely,

The instructors really stand out. They’re lively, genuine, hardworking, and always there to lend a hand. You’ll never have a dull moment. The schedule may be tough, but by the end, the instructors will leave you craving more, pushing you to achieve beyond what you thought possible. The food was spoiled (about fifteen people got sick). Last week consisted of students giving classes to be evaluated, but we splurged on yoga sessions with qualified instructors to learn. To get corrected, you need to call the teachers, they don’t come on their own. They clearly told me that if I didn’t pay by this afternoon, I would have to leave right away! Pay attention to really understanding English perfectly even though the website says it’s accessible to everyone! The graduation ceremony is very basic. Beautiful and enriching adventure. Stunning location. Intense training. Great encounters. Learning so much about yoga and oneself. Passionate and qualified teachers. Free shuttle to go into town.

The food at the Mansion was disappointing for me because I’ve been a vegan for a long time and there were limited protein and complex carbohydrate options. It was tough for us students who were studying long hours and doing intense yoga. The lack of variety made everything feel repetitive after 3 weeks. YogaUnion did try to work with the Mansion Hotel to fix these issues, so hopefully future trainings will have better options. Despite that, I absolutely loved the 200 YTT with YogaUnion! The teachers were passionate and knowledgeable. Nikol, our main teacher, was amazing at teaching asana alignment and vinyasa flow. Her energy lit up the room and you could tell she found her calling. Her sweet soul and dedication to yoga inspired all of us.

After the third week, the food got a bit repetitive but still tasty.

During classes, teachers should ask anyone from the retreat to demonstrate the “example” regardless of the student’s level, rather than always picking the most flexible/strongest yogi. This way, everyone can see how the teacher corrects or guides the student into the pose, as we are more likely to teach beginner/intermediate students than someone who already knows everything. Yoga isn’t about comparison. Some yogis were disappointed to always see the same advanced student demonstrating the pose.

I hope this won’t be the case in future retreats. I still really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. 🙂 The location in the middle of the rice fields is wonderful! The shala and restaurant were amazing, with breakfast being the best meal – so many fruits, muesli, homemade coconut yogurt, and sometimes pancakes and French toast. Everyone was really nice, and I had an incredible time there. Such a life-changing experience!! It was also cheaper than other organizations but still incredible!

I’m not picky when it comes to food, but the meals were really bad, with the same dishes being served regularly. The food is vegetarian but not healthy.

If you don’t speak English well, I highly recommend not signing up for this course. There is a lot of theory and philosophy that is important to understand for the rest of the training. Personally, I don’t speak English well and I also don’t understand it very well. I tried the experience, but it was very difficult because I had to translate my manuals into French on top of everything else.

There is nothing! I recommend arriving two days early to beat jet lag and acclimate to the weather. It’s worth staying at least a week after to explore the island/Gili/Nusa Penida since the course is intense and you have two Sundays off to relax. The teachers were amazing in yoga, anatomy, and philosophy – I learned a ton and their passion made it all stick. The daily yoga classes were super strong too.

The mansion resort where we stayed was like a dream honeymoon spot. I splurged on my own double room and it was totally worth it. The staff was so friendly, rooms were clean, and the Shalas where we practiced yoga were paradise.

Just a heads up, the resort isn’t in town but there’s a free shuttle a few times a day or you can grab a taxi for £8. Scooter rentals are also nearby. The food was good, especially for vegetarians like me. Only thing missing was a coffee supply in the afternoon, but the cafe had iced coffee for £3.50.

I wish we had more moments of silence during training to truly delve into our inner yogic journey. The training felt a bit superficial, focusing only on transferring information. I suggest incorporating a few silent days, especially in the beginning, or maybe start each morning with silence until after breakfast. This would allow students to meditate, practice pranayama, and connect with themselves during asana practice. It’s important for students to grasp the essence of yoga beyond just a physical workout.

Our teacher Himanshu did a fantastic job of keeping classes engaging while also pushing us to excel. He shared his wisdom in a way that allowed us to internalize what resonated with each of us. The other teachers were also amazing, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from them.

I really wish we had started with some kind of introduction activity for all participants at the beginning, like a game or something, so we could all get to know each other’s names at least once!

In anatomy class, we learned that strength can be built pretty quickly but tendons and ligaments need more time to catch up. I wish the teachers had slowed down sometimes or reminded us to listen to our bodies. Instead, it felt like we were being pushed to show off the best version of every pose, even pushing us beyond our limits. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but in a 3-week intense training, I think it led to more than half of the class ending up with injuries. It didn’t feel healthy to me, and I wish there had been more flexibility on some days.

I was expecting more information and adjustments for beginners in the yoga training since it was advertised as suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners.

In the philosophy class, I would have preferred to start with some basic information before diving into deep discussions on topics I wasn’t familiar with. It was especially challenging for non-native English speakers like myself to follow along. I don’t feel like I have a good understanding of yoga philosophy now, possibly due to the unstructured way we went through the topics.

Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere created by the teachers, trainees, and Karmayogis. The schedule, food, and location were great (though more fruit variety would have been nice!). I appreciated the building up structure of the training, the focus on alignment, and the early start to teaching practice. The international group dynamic was a highlight, as were the special events like the cacao ceremony and silent walk. I also admired the dedication and passion of each teacher.

Our teachers are knowledgeable and create an immersive, accessible environment that promotes personal growth and a deeper understanding of the yogic way of life.

The schedule may be gruelling and intense, but this program is not meant to be a relaxing retreat. Instead, it is an intensive learning experience designed to prepare experienced practitioners to guide yogis through flows and a more mindful practice in the future.

I didn’t really like the philosophy classes because we didn’t have much time to discuss yoga concepts critically. However, I did appreciate the teacher’s effort to review main terms and concepts for exams. I still believe that future yoga teachers should be able to do more than just memorize concepts like chakras and doshas; they should be able to evaluate yoga philosophy critically, something that was lacking in our discussions in class.

The food didn’t excite me after a couple of weeks, but overall, these were minor issues compared to all the other positive aspects of the experience. It was truly a wonderful and unique time at the retreat. Returning home after spending three weeks in such an amazing place is tough. The food at the retreat became repetitive. The accommodations weren’t the same for everyone, and they didn’t make that clear to me. Some people stayed in a fancy mansion resort while others stayed in the rice fields. It was definitely a mix of different places to stay. I wish they had focused more on spirituality and self-development like they talked about. But overall, it was a life-changing experience for me. These small complaints don’t even come close to how amazing the retreat was.

There were about 30 people in the group, and we really bonded like a family. But if you prefer a smaller and more intimate group, this may not be the right retreat for you. I personally do better in smaller groups and wish there had been less people for more one-on-one time. But the organizers are so great, and that’s why this retreat is so popular! You won’t regret it. I was situated in the rice fields, which provided a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere for my yoga teacher training. The training was physically demanding but incredibly fulfilling. It’s important to know that it’s hard work before you go into it.

The teachers varied in their standard of teaching, but overall, they were generally good. As someone with a fairly advanced physical practice already, I noticed that the course seemed to focus more on less experienced yogis. The anatomy and philosophy lessons were also better suited for beginners. The location and accommodation at Ubud Nirwa Karma were excellent. The food was simple but tasty. The shala was fantastic and the overall infrastructure of the place was very well organized. If you’re looking for a self-development trip, this course is a great choice, especially for beginners.

I read every review and they all said the food was repetitive and standard. Honestly, having a simple diet is good for your body with all the physical stress you put on it every day. The food was just what I needed after two hours of daily vinyasa. I’m thrilled I chose this course. I looked at thousands in different countries and this one far exceeded my expectations. It was tough. Really tough. They suggest reading a few books before you come. Do it. They suggest having a yoga routine beforehand. Do it. I did some prep for three weeks but it wasn’t enough. There’s so much information to absorb. But once you conquer it, the feeling is so rewarding. The group I was with were some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. We bonded like a family and it was beautiful. We laughed, we cried, I even got a few bruises… but it was all worth it. And for the super affordable price, it’s way more than you would expect. Nikki was an exceptional instructor. She pushed us enough to discover our capabilities and we truly surprised ourselves. Spyros was the best anatomy teacher. His passion shines through! Thank you, Yoga Union!

They gave lectures on anatomy, philosophy, and asana labs that helped me better understand yoga. Now, I feel safer and more confident in my practice. I loved everything about it. Learning philosophy was challenging at first, but once I delved deeper, it became fascinating. Yogaunion was amazing. The people, the classes, the food – it exceeded my expectations. Himanshu made the classes fun and educational. Ourania and Spyros were also fantastic. Ourania was powerful yet peaceful, while Spyros made anatomy easy to grasp. The school is demanding with lots of studying and homework, but it’s definitely worth it. I will definitely come back, it felt like a second home. Thank you for this incredible experience!

I loved everything about the training. I wish I could have seen and experienced the main union yoga shala in the ricefields, but because I was in the mansion resort group, I couldn’t. I also think the closing ceremony is nicer and more authentic there. The resort could get noisy at times since our shala was near the pool area, not ideal for certain classes. But overall, the resort is very nice! The teachers are amazing. They teach you all you need to know about Asanas, alignment, variation, and the benefits of it all. They care for you and teach with a serious love and commitment to yoga. It’s like tough but caring love for all the students. I am grateful to Nikole, our main teacher, for all the effort, patience, and care she put into teaching us. Spiros and Ourania are wonderful too, building a great yoga community here. It’s a lot of information to take in during 3 weeks, so rest and clear your mind in between classes to absorb it all again for the exam. The teaching structure starts right away and you build your flow step by step, teaching each other. It’s an intense physical, mental, and emotional but amazing experience. People grow into a yogi family! I will forever be thankful I did this! Namaste.

The course itself was very informative, and every single one of our teachers gave their best to teach us everything they could in the time we spent there. The daily Vinyasa practices have been life-changing. I felt far stronger and more fit at the end of the retreat because of them. The hotel’s spotty wifi doesn’t reflect negatively on YogaUnion, it reflects on the hotel itself. There are cute cafes nearby where you can grab great food and fast wifi if you need it! I can’t think of anything negative to say at all. The team at YogaUnion is fantastic; they are knowledgeable and present information in a clear and memorable way. Nikol, Spyros, and Ourania are amazing teachers and people. They made me feel like family from the moment I arrived at the training. The accommodation was beautiful and the daily schedule was busy but well-organized so you don’t feel overwhelmed. There was also plenty of free time to explore Ubud.
Choosing this YTT was the best gift I’ve ever given myself. I feel confident as a yoga teacher and as a better, more grounded person overall. The team at YogaUnion has put together an amazing course for their students. If you’re thinking about taking your 200hr training with YogaUnion, go for it! You won’t regret it, I promise.

I struggled to understand the instructor. The classes also ended early, so we had extra time when I would have liked longer classroom or yoga sessions. The anatomy lessons were great – they explained difficult concepts in simple English and with visuals. I appreciated that we reviewed the technical details of the morning class right after, like which meridians we worked on.

I loved this course – it was like magic! The location was right in the center of the rice fields, and it was absolutely amazing. The guest house I stayed in exceeded all my expectations, and the vegetarian food they provided three times a day was delicious.

The instructors were top-notch. Himanshu is one of the best yoga teachers I’ve ever had – he really pushed us to reach our full potential. Ourania and Spyros were incredibly knowledgeable in alignment and anatomy, and they were fantastic teachers who gave clear instructions and explanations. They were also so kind and compassionate, making sure we were happy, healthy, and focused on yoga during the training.

We got to try out different styles of yoga like yin, vinyasa, ashtanga, and hatha, as well as different types of pranayama and meditation every morning. The workshops helped improve everyone’s practice, with people learning headstands, arm balances, and back bends faster and safer than ever before.

I highly recommend this training – it truly changed my practice and my life. I hope to return to beautiful Ubud someday to experience even just a bit of it again.

I loved staying in the rice fields! However, a few of us, including me, didn’t realize we had the option to stay in the mansion instead. We only found out when we got there and the groups were already split. Just a suggestion, it would be better to know about these options when booking. I was happy where I was, but everyone’s preferences differ. Knowing in advance will keep everyone satisfied.

Choosing to come for a yoga teacher training was the best decision of my life. If you’re still on the fence about it – just do it! You’ll gain so much from it, whether or not you plan to teach afterwards. Bali has a special energy that helps release negativity. And with amazing teachers like Ourania and Himanshu, along with the incredible people you’ll meet here, it becomes a transformative experience. It’s a serene place where you can be yourself, with yourself, but never alone.

The training is tough and you’ll face physical and emotional challenges. There will be times when you want to give up, but the supportive group around you will make you feel like you can do it together. Whatever your reasons for attending, you will grow and improve. Your troubles won’t disappear overnight, nor will you become a great teacher without practice, but YogaUnion in Ubud is the perfect place to start.

To my group mates from the September course, I want to say how happy I am to have met you all. You helped me grow and have more faith in myself, and I believe we helped each other. I wish you all the best of luck in everything you do. And to our amazing teachers – THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge with us!

I recommend revising the training book to correct mistakes and add missing postures. Everything else is perfect. The Ricefield Yoga Shala is like a dream, with unique details in every corner. The remote location away from busy Ubud, the sounds of nature, birds, and occasional silence, the pathway to the beautiful shala, and the restaurant 308 where chef Putu and Yoga serve us every day. At night, fireflies light up the sky full of stars – pure magic.

We stayed in cozy hotels along the pathway, feeling like neighbors in a little village. My hotel, Nirwa Ubud Karma, was comfortable and I have no complaints.

The owners of Yoga Union, Ourania and Spyros, are the epitome of love. They not only share love with each other but also with their students. Feeling loved and supported by them during the intense training was invaluable. The whole team – Himanshu, Jonas, Saavas, Juan Carlos, Florence, and Pablo – was professional and competent.

Choosing this training to learn how to teach and share Yoga was the best decision I’ve made. Thank you to the teachers and students of the August session for making this experience unforgettable.

I was really disappointed by the lack of communication at the start of my training about where it would be held. The advertisement said it would be in a rice field Shala with food from a nearby organic restaurant, but instead, I ended up at the mansion resort with repetitive food that didn’t always leave me feeling nourished after long yoga sessions.

Despite this initial disappointment, I ended up with amazing instructors that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Although I was hoping for a more interpersonal and growth-focused experience, I did learn a lot about myself and yoga during the training.

The instructors were phenomenal, each with their own specialty and a passion for sharing their knowledge. I gained priceless information about yoga, anatomy, and philosophy in just 3 weeks, thanks to the instructors chosen for this training.

We had a large group during our yoga training, so we didn’t get a lot of personal critique on our teaching or practice. However, the energy from the group was amazing and we got to share the experience with people from all over the world. The Shala was located in the beautiful rice fields, away from the busy Ubud center, which added to the magic of the experience.

The teachers were fantastic and made everyone feel welcome and safe. They created a supportive environment and catered to everyone’s needs. The variety of teachers and yoga styles provided a well-rounded learning experience. The course was intense but definitely prepared us to become teachers.

The anatomy and philosophy lessons offered a different perspective on yoga, beyond just the physical practice. The food at the nearby restaurant was surprisingly good, with plenty of options for different dietary needs.

Overall, it was an amazing experience and I’m so grateful to YogaUnion for providing such a fulfilling training.

Sometimes the food got a little boring, but it’s easy to go down the street and buy something on those days. The schedule in the last few weeks seemed a bit disorganized, but it still worked out fine. I wish we had more practice teaching time, but I think the other group got a lot of that, so it depends on your teacher (ours was still great). The accommodation was much nicer than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The teachers were all awesome and very understanding and accommodating of our injuries and other issues. 1) The food at the Mansion got pretty repetitive – lots of vegetables (meat-lovers, beware!). Breakfast, though, was great! They had the best spread of food.

    2) The course can get quite intense (as expected!) – by the second week, lots of people were burning out or falling ill. We all could have done a better job at pacing ourselves. Our group was also unlucky because our break days got mixed up, so we ended up with 9 straight days of practice in the second week, which added to the exhaustion. But the instructors were very supportive and allowed us to take breaks when needed, which was much appreciated! I went into this trip with no expectations, and the experience completely blew me away.

    1) The course is truly rigorous – you learn about yoga holistically through three main classes: asana (postures) alignment, yoga philosophy, and anatomy. These classes give you a deeper understanding of the physical and psychological/spiritual aspects of yoga. The course also covers pranayama (breathing), meditation, and teaching a class. We were assigned to prepare a class almost every day, with the lesson length increasing as the course progressed.

    2) Our group had an unusual accommodation situation – we couldn’t practice at the regular shala and were moved to the Mansion Hotel in Ubud, a really nice resort. I shared a room with another person, and we had a whole family suite to ourselves.

    3) One of the best parts of the course is the community you find. I met people of all ages from around the world, but because we all had the same open-minded attitude towards learning and growing, our differences didn’t matter. I made some amazing friends from this course, and even after it ended, people continued to hang out in Bali or visit each other in their home countries! For anyone considering this course, I would recommend extending your stay in Bali to spend more time with your new friends.

Unfortunately, the location didn’t meet our expectations due to circumstances beyond the school’s control. As a Dubai resident, I was eagerly looking forward to staying in Ubud amidst the rice fields and nature. However, we ended up at the Mansion hotel instead. Don’t get me wrong, the hotel was lovely and we were treated exceptionally well. But my heart was set on experiencing yoga in nature. On the bright side, I did get to visit Yoga Union’s shala, which was absolutely breathtaking! It was the most beautiful shala I had ever seen, surrounded by lush rice fields.

I absolutely loved the teachers and the whole experience at Yoga Union. It was truly incredible and has greatly contributed to my journey towards becoming a yoga teacher. The learning process was fun and interactive, with each day presenting new and exciting challenges. The teachers took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. The program in Bali had a few minor issues due to it being relatively new. It could have been easier to pay the remaining amount with a service like Paypal. Some guesthouses were nicer than others, despite us paying the same price for accommodation. The restaurant where we ate was lovely, but the menu was repetitive until we asked for a change. Despite these small problems, I would still highly recommend this yoga training. I absolutely loved the experience. The teachers were extremely knowledgeable and embodied the Yogi philosophies.
