Hey there! We, at the Anandam Yoga School, want to introduce you to the wonderful world of Yoga Nidra through our Yoga Nidra Yoga Teacher Training. This art has amazing self-healing properties that can dissolve any physical, emotional, or mental blockages you may have. Plus, you’ll learn how to use Yoga Nidra to prevent stress-related diseases, such as burn-out. How cool is that?
Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) can count these course hours as Continuing Education hours. This course is part of the YACEP program of Yoga Alliance, and you can include the 50 hours from this course in your continuous education hours. Did you know that 30 minutes of yoga Nidra is as restorative as 4 hours of deep sleep? Yoga Nidra, also known as ‘yogic sleep,’ is a state where you are neither fully asleep nor completely awake – it’s a conscious, dynamic psychic sleep. This ancient meditation technique has the power to take you to the deepest state of physical and mental relaxation. Yoga Nidra bridges the internal and external realms, allowing complete restfulness.
The 50-hour yoga Nidra yoga teacher training in Bali is a five-day course where you will immerse yourself in the practice and theory of yoga Nidra. You will learn how to incorporate this meditation technique into your own practice and how to guide others. If you already have a basic understanding of yoga Nidra and want to delve deeper and learn the last two techniques, Anandam Yoga School offers a special 50-hour advanced yoga Nidra teacher training. If you’re interested in learning more about this course or booking both yoga Nidra trainings together, feel free to reach out to Anandam Yoga School. They are happy to provide you with more information.

March 5, 2024 at 12:00 amDer ständige Baustellenlärm hat mich wirklich genervt. Aber dank der liebevollen Unterstützung von den Teilnehmerinnen und Yogalehrern, habe ich über mich hinaus gewachsen und Dinge getan, die ich zuvor für unmöglich gehalten habe.

November 26, 2023 at 12:00 amThe shared bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, but hey, it’s a hostel, so I guess we should’ve expected that. The course was absolutely fantastic. Sandeep and Katharina teach with such passion and have a wealth of knowledge about yoga history, philosophy and the body. I learned so much in these three weeks, it felt like a whole semester at uni, haha! The schedule was jam-packed, but it was always a blast and the days flew by.
Honestly, it was an incredible experience with the most amazing people and good vibes all around. The teacher training was mind-blowing, I can’t think of anything negative to say about it. The accommodation is something special, like a little oasis tucked away in Canggu.

October 25, 2023 at 12:00 amThe serenity house may get noisy sometimes, depending on the room and the noises from the street. Just something to keep in mind. But overall, it has a super tropical, friendly, and comfortable atmosphere.
I absolutely loved the foundations of yoga, including the asanas, the anatomy classes, and the yogic philosophy. The way it was all designed was amazing! From the program itself to the teaching methodology and even creating our own class (hatha, hatha flow, or vinyasa flow), everything was thoughtfully planned out. The manual provided was also very detailed and beautifully illustrated.
And let me tell you, the vegan breakfasts were absolutely delicious! They added such a unique and inspirational touch to the whole experience. I just wanted to express my gratitude for teaching and sharing this incredible journey with us. Thank you so much!

October 23, 2023 at 12:00 amI recommend having extra mosquito protection in the rooms. The classes structured rigorously combined traditional and modern understandings of yoga, not just focusing on the asanas. This helped us have a deeper understanding of practice and aided in our personal journey and growth throughout the three weeks.
Our teachers were extremely knowledgeable and supportive. They regularly engaged in open and honest conversations, being there for us whenever we needed them. They always showed a smiling face and took the time to understand each of us as individuals.
All the classes were suitable for all levels, and I highly recommend this yoga school to anyone who wants to broaden their understanding of Yoga as a whole.
A big thank you to the teachers for their time and dedication!

September 25, 2023 at 12:00 amI absolutely loved the energy that Sandeep and Katerina brought to the course. They were authentic, warm, intelligent, and so passionate about sharing their knowledge of yoga history and anatomy. I learned so much in such a short time because they made it fun and interesting.
I searched for a while to find the right course, and this one just felt right in my gut. And when I arrived, I knew I was correct. Sandeep and Katerina are real individuals, and the classes are small, so you really get a personalized experience. It was long hours, but it was totally worth it!
My experience with Anandam was absolutely amazing. I already miss them and all the incredible yogis I met during the course.
Watching everyone complete their first class and finish the course together was such a joy.
If you’re looking for an authentic experience, where you can learn traditional yoga from an Indian teacher and science and nutrition from a nutritionist and scientist, seriously look no further.
We stayed at Serenity Eco, where they have amazing vegan food and drinks. The breakfast provided was also delicious. Anandam rents out a shala for the course, and this place perfectly aligns with their approach to health and wellness. Just to clarify, I came for the course, not for a retreat holiday.
On some days, we went down the road to the bakery called Fold. The housing was slightly rustic, but I hardly spent any time in my room. The pool grounds and garden were so beautiful! It’s only a 5-minute walk to the beach for sunrise, and it’s very easy to get around with a gojek if needed.

September 17, 2023 at 12:00 amI can’t recommend this training enough for anyone looking to deepen their Yoga practice, especially if you’re interested in the traditional Indian style. It’s a fantastic opportunity that you definitely shouldn’t pass up. Personally, I’m planning on attending more training sessions with Sandeep and Katherina in the near future!
Katherina and Sandeep truly made the Yoga teacher training a remarkable experience. They made sure to give each participant the individual attention they needed, and it was clear they were invested in our growth. I was particularly impressed with Sandeep’s sessions on Hatha Yoga; they struck the perfect balance between being challenging and engaging, helping us explore new depths in our practice.
The food we had throughout the training was absolutely delicious. It felt like every meal was prepared with care and thought, and it gave us the energy we needed for our intense training days.
The location of our training in Heimbach was absolutely idyllic. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall learning experience and created the perfect atmosphere for self-reflection and personal growth.
One of the highlights for many of us was the magical fire ceremony. It was so much more than just a ritual; it was a transformative experience that brought us all together. This ceremony will definitely be a cherished memory for all of us.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to both Sandeep and Katherina for their incredible guidance and support throughout the training.
