Our comprehensive training equips you with all the essential skills to become a highly qualified and confident yoga instructor, ready to lead invigorating Yin yoga classes. It doesn’t matter if teaching isn’t your plan afterward – this experience offers immense growth and development on the physical, mental, and spiritual planes.
To understand and participate in the training, you only need basic knowledge of English. Most of our students are not native English speakers. We welcome individuals from all nationalities and languages. We deliver the material and lessons in clear and straightforward English, without making them overly complicated. Please note that both the classes and the written exam are conducted in English.
Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) can count these course/hours as Continuing Education hours.
You will have a total of 27 live sessions. In these sessions, you will spend 30 hours practicing guided asana, pranayama, and meditation with the instructor and other students. Additionally, you will engage in theory lectures, teaching methodology, teaching practice, and more. For the remaining 20 hours, you will watch video recordings, listen to audio recordings, complete homework, and take the exam. The course is delivered through an online learning platform that includes a combination of recorded videos and live sessions. We use a WhatsApp group for course communication and updates. All the online live sessions are recorded and saved on the platform, so you can watch them later if needed.
You will have access to the course materials throughout the training and for one week after its completion, allowing you enough time to revisit or re-watch the classes. Here is a sample schedule based on CEST/GMT+2:
This training will equip you with the necessary skills to become a highly qualified and confident yoga instructor specialized in Yin yoga. It is suitable for aspiring yoga teachers as well as students who want to deepen their knowledge of the anatomical and restorative methodology of Yin practice.
Whether you are a passionate yoga teacher looking to enhance your skills or simply someone who wants to embark on a deeply healing and restorative journey of self-awareness and realization, this training is suitable for you. We provide original training material, including live streaming, recorded videos, manuals, advice, and more. You can choose to follow the training day by day or at your own pace, completing it once you feel ready. All the live sessions are recorded for easy access in case you want to watch them again or if you miss any.
The teacher training is happening online, so you can join from home. YogaUnion, in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, is live streaming the classes through Google Meet, following the CEST timezone.
You will have 27 live sessions, totaling 30 contact hours and 20 non-contact hours. We’ll provide you with Yin yoga manuals and valuable business insights. Plus, you’ll receive a certificate of completion. If you complete the training before December 31, 2023, you’ll be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance.

February 16, 2024 at 12:00 amI didn’t find anything to criticize. I really wished the course could have been longer and we had more time for discussions and delving deeper into the philosophy with a group. Oh, and the teacher was fantastic! They taught in a really authentic and knowledgeable way, patiently answering questions and supporting students with love. I rarely come across teachers like that. The Shala and the location were fantastic, and I enjoyed the company of the people I shared this experience with. The communication and organization were top-notch! I would definitely recommend this course and can’t wait to come back for YIN YTT level 2.

January 11, 2024 at 12:00 amThe place, the classes, the teachers, everything was amazing. I learned a lot about yoga, both in practice and theory. I don’t speak English very well, but the teachers are there to answer all our questions, they are very available.
Helpful ReviewOn the other hand, if you don’t speak any English at all, this training is not for you, you need to have a minimum level of understanding.
Otherwise, I highly recommend this training!!

October 14, 2023 at 12:00 amThe Seminar blew my mind! I’ll never forget this unique experience! Meeting so many positive people, enjoying beautiful scenery and incredible food, and learning from the best teachers was a dream come true! Himanshu Bahuguna is an incredible instructor with so much passion for Yoga and Teaching. His energy was palpable throughout the training. Training with him in Europe was a true gift. Faye Balomenou was also amazing! She supported us every step of the way, motivating us to push ourselves to our limits. Her knowledge of Yoga Philosophy was top-notch, and I had the most amazing Yoga Nidra experience during the Palairos seminar with her. I wholeheartedly recommend it! Don’t think twice about booking it. I’m already counting down the days until the 300h training! Namaste.

September 19, 2023 at 12:00 amThe way they taught The Anatomy was all over the place and didn’t really connect to the yoga poses. They should have discussed how it relates more. Also, it would’ve been better if they gave the exam right after the lecture for better training. Himanshu did a great job teaching Pranayama, Flow, and alignment.

September 19, 2023 at 12:00 amFrom day 1, both Himanshu and Faye have made this journey one to never forget. They handle everything from practical aspects to theory and offer extra support whenever needed. Spyros, with his absolute passion for anatomy, makes learning easy and fun. The three teachers combined create the most wholesome training experience.
If you ever feel unprepared before or after, rest assured that they will dissolve all your worries. The supportive community here wants everyone to thrive in their practices. By the end of the training, you’ll be thrilled to have shared this journey with such incredible people.
The staff here are kind, generous, and hardworking, always looking out for our comfort. In conclusion, if you’re interested in yoga, this is an experience you won’t regret.

September 11, 2023 at 12:00 amThis training exceeded my expectations. Faye, Ippoliti, and Spyros, our teachers, are incredibly passionate about yoga and they share their knowledge and enthusiasm in a clear, detailed, and sometimes fun way. The teachers and hotel staff were extremely helpful with any concerns or questions I had during my stay at Kosta Maria. The three weeks of training are intense, but you won’t regret choosing this if you want to learn more about yoga and improve your practice. You’ll learn so much and discover how far you can push yourself. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to meet people from around the world and grow together. It’s a wonderful experience!

August 22, 2023 at 12:00 amI suggest that the groups should have different age options. I would have preferred a group with people aged 30 and above. This training opened up a beautiful path to yoga in all its forms. The location choice was spot on with a cozy family-owned hotel that made us feel right at home. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff treated us like family, always showing us love and being super helpful. When I needed groceries, Stella even took me to a nearby market which was about a 25-minute walk away.
The training was challenging both physically and spiritually, and there were moments where we all broke down emotionally. But with the incredible support of our instructors, we were able to grow each day. Faye and Ippo, our amazing instructors, complemented each other perfectly with their Yin & Yang teaching styles. Faye’s alignment classes and Ippo’s pranayama classes were truly one-of-a-kind. And even though we had less time with him, Sypros, our anatomy instructor, was also fantastic. His passion for anatomy was contagious and he motivated us in so many ways.
Overall, this was an incredible experience for me personally, and I highly recommend it to anyone with a love for yoga and the time to dedicate to it.

July 7, 2023 at 12:00 amI completed my 200h vinyasa teacher training with YogaUnion in June 2023 in Ubud, Bali and it completely transformed my life. The experience was truly amazing, as I learned everything I had ever wanted to know about yoga from a fantastic group of teachers. Not only did I deepen my yoga practice, but I also forged strong connections with peers from around the globe and discovered new depths within myself.
A huge shout out to my lead teacher Himanshu, who is hands down the best yoga instructor I have ever had. His knowledge of yoga, from asanas to pranayama and philosophy, is unparalleled. Himanshu’s extensive experience with students of all backgrounds and skill levels truly shines through in his teaching. What sets him apart is his genuine passion for yoga and unwavering dedication to supporting his students in every way possible.
And I’m not the only one who feels this way. I know many of my classmates share my admiration for Himanshu. He truly is the heart and soul of this training program. We need more teachers like him in the world!

July 3, 2023 at 12:00 amThis 200 hour Vinyasa YTT in Paleros blew me away! Faye Balomenou teaches yoga with such passion and is eager to share all her knowledge with you. The alignment classes were super detailed and precise, showing her experience and confidence in teaching and adjusting. The practices were intense and really got me going. Eleni Chantzara complements Faye perfectly with her thoughtful teachings in Pranayama and workshops. Her flows are beautiful and she brings a gentle energy to the practice. Spyros Kapitsinos’ anatomy classes are original and engaging, keeping you interested even after a long day. He’s so knowledgeable and helps empower his students with understanding their own anatomy for yoga practice and teaching.
The hotel is in a gorgeous location just a short walk from Paleros town, with a private beach just steps away. If you’re not up for the walk, there’s also a pool to relax by. The views of the sea and mountains are stunning wherever you look. The Shala’s, both upper and lower, combined with the scenery create a fantastic atmosphere for practice. The hotel staff is friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the food is fresh, varied, and tasty (mostly healthy/vegetarian twists on Greek dishes, which some might find a bit heavy). Overall, I highly recommend this experience!

June 28, 2023 at 12:00 amThe food tasted amazing with just a few suggestions: Add more variety of cereal and fruit for breakfast; personally, I prefer thicker porridge over soupy; consider swapping out stuffed bell peppers and tomatoes for something different. This yoga teacher training went above and beyond my expectations. The teachers were incredible, sharing their knowledge and passion for yoga in a way that truly transformed us. I returned home feeling inspired to deepen my practice and start teaching others, something I never expected after just 3 weeks. It was a challenging journey, pushing us to our limits and allowing us to blossom in the end. Fay was like a diamond, providing critical feedback while also making us laugh. Eleni’s meditation techniques were presented in such a desirable way, making it easy to understand. Spyros made Anatomy class fun and easy to remember. The KostaMaria Family and staff were fantastic, with delicious food and clean rooms. Plus, just 106 steps away, you can enjoy a swim in crystal clear water with a breathtaking view – don’t miss out on that!

June 27, 2023 at 12:00 amI recommend bringing your own yoga mat or a travel version to place over the existing yoga mats. The training took place in the Earth shala of YogaUnion in the beautiful rice fields of Ubud. My accommodation was conveniently located right next to the shala (just 2 meters away). While there wasn’t a pool on-site, we were able to use the pools at other locations where some of the other participants were staying.
The restaurant where we had all our meals was just a 3-minute walk away, and there were some great spas and cafes in the area. Each day brought something new and exciting. Not every meal may suit everyone’s tastes, but the buffet always had something delicious to enjoy.
Our main teacher, Gourav, has a wealth of knowledge in yoga, pranayama, and alignment of asanas. He will prepare you thoroughly for a career as a yoga teacher. Even though our anatomy teacher is not listed, I have to give a shoutout to Menik who was an AMAZING teacher that could answer any question and connect anatomy with yoga poses seamlessly.
Our philosophy teacher, Laila, has a special energy and a soothing voice. She also offers a 50-hour yin yoga teacher training. We had a variety of classes including yin, restorative, acro, ashtanga, and nidra, but our focus was mainly on vinyasa. The classes were at an intermediate level, but you will improve and get stronger each day.
Our group consisted of 19 wonderful participants who made the training enjoyable and a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it!

April 4, 2023 at 12:00 amI loved everything, but sometimes the restaurant was too crowded and always ran out of food. But it’s all good because I really appreciated how everyone took care of us. Himanshu is amazing with his knowledge. Even though we were 30 people, he managed to take care of and teach every single one of us. Laila is pure love and a motivated person. She motivated me and filled my soul with love. Fabien was always there during the training, constantly correcting me. I’m so grateful for his company during the training; sometimes he would give me a look and say: “you can do it, Sherin.” It meant a lot to me. Luca is a ray of sunshine in the group. February 20, 2023 at 12:00 amUnfortunately, I had some uncomfortable experiences with the location. The place didn’t match the videos and photos I had been seeing for the last 5 years on the site (rice fields). I thought it was a new venue, but it wasn’t clear to us that this was another venue used once the first one is fully booked.
In the future, it would be nice to be informed that there are 3 venues and you can change your arrival if you want to choose a specific one, like the rice fields instead of the down rabbit hole.
I also had an issue regarding my privacy with the neighbor, but thankfully Ourania (the owner of Yoga Union) was very thoughtful and is taking care to ensure this kind of inconvenience doesn’t happen again in the future.
Apart from that, the place is nice, the bedrooms are new, and the people who work there are very kind, especially the instructors. They all have a high level of knowledge and a good attitude, always willing to answer questions and ensure we have all the information we need.
Special thanks to Marina and Anna Viktoria for their amazing classes filled with kindness, love, and enthusiasm. You’ll always have a place in my heart!
And a big thank you to Gourav, Laila, and Menik for being amazing and high-level teachers in their own right, making our experience even more rewarding. Menik, in particular, made us fall in love with fascia and tendons – who knew that was possible? Thank you all!

January 10, 2023 at 12:00 amPeople with different levels of yoga experience may not get the most benefit from training if the instructors have to slow down due to the mix. This could also be a problem in other yoga teacher training programs. Personally, I don’t find sessions like Kriya & Cacao ceremony helpful. I prefer yoga workshops that focus on skills directly related to my practice and teaching. The instructors here are knowledgeable and patient, the accommodations are excellent, the meals are delicious, and the staff is incredibly sweet. The yoga workshops are top-notch and the location near Ubud center is perfect. The shala is intimate, clean, and well-maintained.

December 16, 2022 at 12:00 amIn a place like those rice fields, everything feels just right. Nature surrounds you with its huge green leaves, the weather is wonderful, and the sounds of frogs, geckos, birds, and flowing water create the perfect nature soundtrack.
The shala where we practiced always takes good care of us and keeps things clean. They organize every meal well (they always make sure to accommodate my celiac needs) and stick to the training schedule. It’s a safe, cozy, and professional environment.
I definitely recommend it 100% ♀️.

September 3, 2022 at 12:00 amThe course didn’t quite meet my expectations. We were promised a different yoga teacher than Himanshu, but we didn’t receive it. I also signed up to do other styles of yoga, such as Ashtanga and Vinyasa, but we only got a one-off class on tantra yoga, Yin yoga, and pregnancy yoga. We weren’t fully educated on the different styles to teach them in our own practice. The course focused on asana and the mind, but it was missing soul and leadership skills. We had a challenging group that was opinionated and quite rude at times, like falling asleep in lessons, missing class, lying down in meditation, and being on phones without a real leader to rein in this behavior. It felt like a trial course for a 300hr program, and I would have been satisfied if I had known this before booking and if the price was lower. The accommodation, food, and individual teachers were subpar.

August 25, 2022 at 12:00 amThe groups were too large, with around 30 students in each of the two groups. I wish they had been smaller so we could have a better connection with our teacher and receive more individualized help. The yoga teachers, Faye, Eleni, Alex, and Ippo, were amazing and always available. Angela, who works so hard and spreads love and positivity, was also a delight to have around. August 24, 2022 at 12:00 amI didn’t enjoy the philosophy classes at all and I wasn’t a fan of the alignment methodology either. It bothered me that they sold a teacher training with 30 people and ended up with two groups of 30 people at the same time. It was overwhelming and I think smaller groups create a better atmosphere. I did like the opportunity to explore another country and the amazing beaches. The quality of the vinyasa classes was excellent but the learning methodology left something to be desired at times. August 5, 2022 at 12:00 amI have a few small things to critique about the course, although I mostly enjoyed my time there:
Helpful Review– Sometimes getting away from the hotel was a bit difficult, but that’s mainly due to the infrastructure in Palairos.
– The food was good, and they were accommodating with lactose-free/vegan diets. However, the options and signage were a bit strange at times, so I think they just need to practice more and offer a greater variety of dishes.
– I would have liked more practice with our own sequences, but I understand there wasn’t much time for it as we had to cover a lot in a short period.
– I would have preferred the course to be a couple of days longer, with less time spent on exams and more time devoted to working on our personal flows. I know this might not be feasible in reality (the other 200h courses I looked at were even shorter!) 😉
– Everything wasn’t always well-planned, and we didn’t always receive information on time. But everything worked out in the end.
– Thank you for a wonderful experience! Embarking on this yoga journey made me very happy. The course was intense, and I learned a lot, just as I had expected. I appreciated the kind staff at Kosta Maria and the beautiful location.
The course met many of my expectations:
– I hoped for physically challenging training, and it definitely delivered!
– I wanted to gain a holistic perspective on yoga, and there was a good mix of various viewpoints.
– I anticipated an intense and focused experience, and it was mentally demanding but I’m glad I chose this over a year-long 200h course.
– I didn’t want anything overly spiritual, and they struck a good balance by introducing us to spiritual concepts without pressuring us to participate in things like chanting.
– I feel like I understand myself better now than before.
I am incredibly grateful for all the knowledge I have gained.

August 1, 2022 at 12:00 amThe chefs made the food with love but it just didn’t meet our standards. There weren’t any fresh juices or much fresh fruit, and the meals in general were lacking. The menu had too much processed soya, not enough variety of vegetables, and wasn’t very balanced. Adding some creativity to the menu could have made all the difference. The instructors were phenomenal and you can’t beat the location.

July 28, 2022 at 12:00 amI did not like Gourrav, he was the only instructor that rubbed me the wrong way. He tries hard and means well, but his communication skills are seriously lacking. I’m not sure if he struggles to get his point across or if he’s just not good at talking. His constant repetition in Pranayam and vinyasa classes really grated on me, and it was a letdown when he graded our final practical exams instead of Himanshu. His feedback was off-base and poorly delivered, he’s just not on par with the other instructors at Yoga Union.
The workshops on children’s and prenatal yoga led by Itta weren’t very useful either. She’s lovely, but her teaching skills could use some work. She seemed disorganized and scattered, throwing ideas out without much structure. I would have much preferred to dive into yogic philosophy and explore topics we missed in our textbook, or bring in an ayurvedic clinician to discuss doshas and yogic diets.
Overall, I’m grateful for the experience. The passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging teachers really expanded my understanding of yoga. The shala was stunning, and I enjoyed the large class size with two groups of around 30 and 18 practicing together. The Fire shala was definitely the prettier space, so I recommend requesting to be placed there. The staff at YogaUnion were all so kind and thoughtful, from the housekeepers to the cooks. Living and practicing in the rice fields was an unforgettable experience. And the food – absolutely delicious with a perfect mix of Indonesian and global dishes that catered to my vegan diet.

July 27, 2022 at 12:00 amOrganisational hiccoughs sometimes happened. Communication about transport or scheduling was a little disorganised or late. Some information only spread through word of mouth within the group. If you don’t use WhatsApp, you won’t get the information you need.
When booking, some people weren’t told that they would be living off-campus. If I had to live off-campus, I wouldn’t have wanted to take the course.
In my opinion, there were moments when more attention should have been paid to students’ physical conditions. Not everyone was prepared for all the poses we tried, which led to some minor injuries.
I stayed with a group of about 40 students, split into two groups. Mine had 21 students, but I heard that groups could be as large as 35 students some months. The group size was okay, but it definitely shouldn’t have been any bigger.
I would have appreciated a more extensive education in anatomy, sequencing, teaching methodology, and philosophy. This course only served as an introduction to these topics. The experiences varied greatly between the two groups due to the personal teaching styles of the instructors. Overall, I expected more alignment between teachers.
Despite some challenges, I had a great experience and would do it again! The curriculum covered anatomy, philosophy, alignment, and practical aspects of yoga. I liked the holistic approach. The theoretical lessons, initially conducted with everyone sitting on the floor, were perfect for deepening our understanding.
The quality of teachers was good all around, but it was a surprise not to know who would be teaching when booking.
The staff at Kosta Maria Hotel were incredibly kind and accommodating. Always helpful and easy to laugh with. You made my stay very special! The food, scheduled meal times, and cleanliness were all exceptional. My room had the best ocean view.
Lastly, the other students were amazing. Caring, kind, and always friendly – they made the experience enjoyable and could be relied upon for any help that was needed.

July 27, 2022 at 12:00 amThe food could have used more variety and after a while, it felt like we were having the same 5 or 6 recipes over and over again. Sometimes it was too salty or too sweet for my liking. But hey, not everyone felt the same way! It’s all just a matter of taste, right?
Before I booked the training, I spent a lot of time reading reviews from former students and I was pretty skeptical. It all sounded too good to be true. But let me tell you, this training has completely changed my life. I wasn’t 100% sure about becoming a yoga teacher before, but now I can’t imagine doing anything else. Yoga just makes me so happy and connected to my true self.
We were lucky to have such an amazing group of students who really bonded and cared for each other from day one. We spent three weeks in a loving and supportive environment where we could fully dedicate ourselves to our practice. I’ve made lifelong friends and I feel so grateful for that.
Now let’s talk about the teachers, Rachel and Ippoliti or Ippo or Ippopo or Chop Chop as we lovingly called him. They went above and beyond all expectations and their teachings and personalities will stay with me forever. They didn’t just prepare us for the exam, they shared their wisdom and inspired me in so many ways.
Before the training, I only knew about asana and pranayama. But diving into philosophy, anatomy, and alignment has truly deepened my practice. It’s like I have a whole sea of knowledge about yoga in front of me and a lifetime won’t be enough to learn it all.
Big thanks to Kostas and his family for making this training so special. Love to all!

July 26, 2022 at 12:00 amIn my training group, many people were judgmental and close-minded Westerners who only viewed yoga as a workout, ignoring the spiritual side. They formed little groups, gossiped, and were not accepting of everyone. I wish we had a big, inclusive group where everyone was treated equally. I was able to blend out the negative vibes, but there were too many people in the Fire group. I wish we had known beforehand about the 30+ people in one group.
The more dominant folks asked most of the questions during lessons, making it harder for quieter people to participate. Extroverted people may thrive in this environment more. The vegan food left me hungry since there was often not enough protein available. Some meals had no protein at all.
Despite the challenges, the teachers and the training were amazing. We learned how to plan 30-minute lessons, which we can adapt to create 1-hour lessons in our own time.

July 1, 2022 at 12:00 amThere were too many students for the training, it could have been more systematic. The Alignment and Anatomy classes should have been included in the philosophy class. Also, they should have paid better attention to the location of the training and the food provided during the sessions.

June 28, 2022 at 12:00 amThe marketing suggested a personal and spiritual experience, but the reality was anything but that – it was militant. The owner of the main hotel, where the food was prepared for us students every day, was warm and accommodating. However, the food options were limited and definitely needed more variety, so I ended up eating off the property most of the time.

June 28, 2022 at 12:00 am7 out of 30 students, including myself, stayed at a different place than the actual accommodation, about 5 minutes by car or a 20-minute walk away. I didn’t mind staying elsewhere, but our daily pickups to go to the main accommodation were often late, so we would end up walking and arriving to class late.
The training was advertised as Vinyasa/Ashtanga, but in my opinion, it was mostly Vinyasa. They did cover various styles of yoga, such as Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra. Overall, I had a great experience at YogaUnion. The teachers, Ippoliti, Rachel, and Eleni, were all very knowledgeable and kind. The classes were informative, and the teachers were always available for questions.
The accommodation staff were also caring and kind. The food they provided was delicious, and when I felt sick, they made sure to adapt the meals for me and checked on me every day to see if I was feeling better.

My favorite things about it were:
Helpful Review– The beautiful location, with a gorgeous shala surrounded by peaceful ricefields. It’s isolated but close to Ubud city center, so it’s perfect for food and shopping.
– The amazing teachers, Fay, Himanshu, and Spyros. They really pushed us in the vinyasa practice and their sense of humor made it fun to learn and memorize. It was a lot in 3 weeks, but I had a blast!
– The organization was perfect, everything was clear and the accommodation/meals are located very close to the shala. It made everything so smooth and stress-free.

May 3, 2022 at 12:00 amI would like more information about how we’ll get to Palairos before the course starts. I booked a really complicated first flight ticket because it was off-season, but then the company said they’d give us a car ride from Athens to the school. So, I had to cancel my first ticket (with no refund) and get a new one. The service at the facility and the food they made for us was awesome. And the yoga anatomy lessons were the best!

February 25, 2022 at 12:00 amIf you decide to come during the winter, be aware that Greece can get cold. Make sure to pack extra layers and warm clothes. Oh, where do I even begin? I absolutely adored my teacher training in Palairos.
Faye is a total rockstar when it comes to yoga and she teaches in a straightforward manner. She is crystal clear on her teachings, offers constructive feedback, and pushes everyone to be their best selves. Laila is a gentle soul with incredible knowledge of breath work, meditation, yin, and nidra yoga. She is also great at breaking down tricky arm balancing poses. Together, they were the perfect balance. And let’s not forget Jonas, the anatomy teacher – I loved his classes! Jonas has a talent for breaking down complex topics into easily digestible pieces. If you have him for anatomy, you’re in for a treat (just watch out for his dry humor, haha).
Thank you to the three of you for an unforgettable and enlightening teacher training. I learned so much and am forever grateful. The place we stayed in Palairos, ‘foodpath’, is just a 5-minute walk to the beach and surrounded by mountains – absolutely breathtaking and truly authentic Greek. The food was diverse, made with fresh ingredients, and always delicious! You could taste the love that Adonis and Elli put into every dish. They were always there for us and took care of everything. Thank you for opening your home to us and making it feel like our own.
I highly recommend coming here for your teacher training.

We were well taken care of by a team of people who ensured we had the best time possible. Faye and Leila are fantastic teachers who challenged us and provided support whenever needed. Jonas’ Anatomy classes were also excellent. The atmosphere was friendly, the food delicious, and the hostel just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful sea. September 22, 2020 at 12:00 amThe accommodation in Greece did not meet our expectations. We had numerous centipedes and other insects in our room every day because the door did not shut properly, leaving a small gap at the bottom. Additionally, there was no washing machine or closet for us. The rubbish bin in our bathroom was not cleaned every day as promised, only once per week. We were also asked to throw our used toilet paper in that bin. The food was repetitive and sometimes not enough for everyone. Despite this, the teacher training was fantastic! August 25, 2020 at 12:00 amI would have preferred a more regimented mark scheme and feedback form for the final flow. Only one teacher reviewed it, and I think getting opinions from two teachers would have been beneficial. Getting written feedback with different criteria like structure, voice, atmosphere, adjustments, and teaching skills would have been better.
The location was amazing – just 5 minutes away from the Shala and away from the beach. The teaching quality was outstanding, and I learned so much. A big thanks to Faye, who was incredible. Ourania was also an amazing teacher, and Spyros was so helpful and kind. The food and accommodation exceeded my expectations by a mile.
It was some of the best three weeks of my life, and I highly recommend doing it, even if you’re unsure. Don’t worry about not being good enough because everyone arrives feeling like their practice isn’t strong enough – it really doesn’t matter! March 6, 2020 at 12:00 amI really wanted to leave a great review, but our philosophy instructor just wasn’t confident in the material she was teaching. She focused on testable material for a couple of days, and then switched gears to random exercises like smelling flowers and touching rocks. She didn’t like taking too many questions, couldn’t stick to the topic, and let some people dominate the conversation. It was frustrating because we were supposed to be ready for an exam on solid information. When I asked her to focus on the exam material, she said there was no way to cover it in just eight days and challenged me on how I expected her to do it. It wasn’t the best attitude for an instructor. No one felt ready when the exam rolled around, and most of us ended up cramming last minute.
It would have been helpful to get the manual in a pdf before training so we could study ahead of time. Reading the recommended books was good, but they probably should have been required so we could all come to training prepared. The Bali retreat was a mix of work and fun, and having more prep time would have made it easier to enjoy. The alignment classes were fantastic, especially with Himanshu teaching us. He’s dedicated, engaging, and really knows his stuff. He made sure we understood all the important alignments and skills for yoga practice. Himanshu challenged me and the rest of the class to do our best, and my strength and flexibility improved a lot during the 23 days. His guidance on breathwork helped me deepen my meditation and pranayama practice. By the time I finished the course, I felt well-equipped to be a better yoga practitioner.

February 6, 2020 at 12:00 amThe only disappointing part of the training was the food at the Mansion. As a long-time vegan, I found the protein and complex carbohydrate options to be very limited. It’s tough when students are studying and doing intense yoga and there’s not much variety. After being there for 3 weeks, it would have been nice to have more food choices to avoid repetition. YogaUnion did try to address these issues with the Mansion Hotel, so hopefully future trainings will have better options.

February 5, 2020 at 12:00 amAfter the third week, the food started to get a little repetitive but it was still tasty.
During classes, the teachers should have someone from the retreat demonstrate the “example” regardless of their level, instead of always choosing the most flexible/strongest yogi. This way, we could all see how the teacher corrects or guides the student into the asana. It would be more helpful for us to learn how to teach beginners or intermediate students rather than someone who already knows everything. Yoga isn’t about comparing ourselves to others. Some yogis were disappointed to always see the same advanced student demonstrating the asana.
I just wanted to mention this in hopes that it can be improved in future retreats, but overall, I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. The location in the middle of the rice fields is amazing! The shala and restaurant were fantastic, and the breakfast was the best meal with so many fruits, muesli, homemade coconut yogurt, and sometimes pancakes and French toast. Everyone was really friendly, and I had an incredible time. It was a truly life-changing experience!! Plus, it was cheaper than other organizations and still amazing!

February 4, 2020 at 12:00 amDon’t do nothing! My advice is to arrive 2 days before to beat jet lag and adjust to the weather so you can make the most of your time. Also, try to stay at least a week after to explore the island/Gili/Nusa Penida. The course is intense and you get 2 Sundays off, so you’ll want to relax instead of cramming in activities. The teachers were amazing with asana, anatomy, and philosophy – I learned a ton and the passion and care from Aaka (philosophy) and Spyros (anatomy) really stuck with me. The daily classes and vinyasa sessions led by Nikol and Himanshu were top-notch.

Just a heads up – you won’t be staying in town, but there’s a free shuttle a few times a day or you can take a taxi for £8. And you can rent a scooter nearby if needed.
The food was really good – I’m vegetarian and was pleased that it was all veggie. I wish there was a coffee supply in the afternoon, but the cafe does have iced coffee for £3.50.

February 4, 2020 at 12:00 amI really wish we had more moments of silence during the training, so we could really delve deep into our inner yogic journey. The training felt kind of superficial to me, more like just transferring information. I think it would be beneficial to have a couple of silent days (maybe at the start!) or even every morning before breakfast. This way, we could focus on meditation, pranayama, and our asana practice by turning inward. It’s important for students to grasp the true essence of yoga, rather than just seeing it as a regular workout at the gym.
Himanshu, our teacher, did an excellent job of keeping classes enjoyable while still pushing us to our fullest potential. He shared his profound wisdom with us in a way that allowed us to take away what resonated most with each of us. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from him and the other amazing teachers at the training.

February 4, 2020 at 12:00 amI wish the food had more variety. It was getting repetitive. The Philosophy teacher isn’t always clear. But classes are great. Nikol is a brilliant yoga teacher with a lot of experience. She knows her stuff. I’ve learned so much from her. The location is beautiful, and the staff is friendly. Spyros, the anatomy teacher, has a great approach to teaching. He explains things in an easy and enjoyable way. I met lovely people and had a great experience.

January 17, 2020 at 12:00 amThank you, Yoga Union, for an amazing experience! I didn’t believe it was possible to learn and grow so much in such a short time, but it was all true. Spyros, Ourania, Himanshu, Celine, and Sirios were dedicated and full of energy throughout the three weeks. They answered all our questions and pushed us outside our comfort zones. Every time we thought we had given our all, they wouldn’t let us give up…thanks Himanshu! Immersing myself in this intense program for 3 weeks has changed my perspective and given me a more holistic view of yoga. The teachers’ energy was truly inspiring and gave me the confidence that I can achieve anything if I put my mind to it!

January 14, 2020 at 12:00 amI really wish we had started with an introduction for everyone at the beginning, like maybe some games or something to hear everyone’s names at least once!
In anatomy, we learned that strength can be built up quickly, but tendons and ligaments need more time. I hoped the teachers would slow down sometimes or remind us to listen to our bodies. Instead, it felt like we were being pushed to show off the best version of each pose, which led to injuries for over half the class. I think some adaptation on certain days would have been healthier.
I also expected more information and adjustments for beginners in yoga, as the YTT was advertised for both beginners and advanced practitioners.
In the philosophy class, I would have preferred more basic information before diving into deep discussions on topics I wasn’t familiar with. It was also challenging for non-native English speakers to follow. I don’t feel like I have a good grasp on yoga philosophy now, possibly due to the unstructured approach to the topics.
Despite these issues, I did enjoy the atmosphere created by the teachers, trainees, and Karmayogis. The schedule, food variety, location, training structure, alignment lessons, early teaching opportunities, international aspect, special events, and the dedication and passion of each teacher were all highlights for me.

January 11, 2020 at 12:00 amThe food didn’t have much variety or flavor, but they did try to make it better towards the end, and there was a noticeable difference in the last week. The teachers are knowledgeable and create an immersive and accessible environment that encourages personal growth and a deeper understanding of the yogic way of life.
The schedule is tough and demanding, not meant for relaxation, but rather to prepare experienced practitioners to guide others through flows and a more mindful practice in the future.

January 11, 2020 at 12:00 amThe quality at YogaUnion amazed me. I just picked based on price and dates and didn’t know much about YogaUnion before. I was really surprised by the amazing quality. Our teacher Himanshu was brilliant, as were the other teachers. I had a beautiful single room with an overview of the rice fields. It was the best room I’ve ever had in my life. I’m happy that I chose the training in the rice fields because it was so quiet and peaceful there, and the shala was lovely. Also, the whole staff of the restaurant was super friendly and the meals were delicious. So, all I can say is: go for it! I highly recommend Yoga Union!

January 10, 2020 at 12:00 amJust a friendly reminder to all students about the etiquette of mat arrangement, especially when it gets crowded at the entrance of the shala. I absolutely love Nikol’s sweaty and fast-paced Vinyasa classes! =D
All the shala and bedrooms are conveniently located in The Mansion, so there’s no need to stress about commuting.
The training really helped me deepen my knowledge of asanas and human anatomy, which I’ve been interested in but didn’t know much about.
We had the opportunity to learn and teach the traditional Sun Salutations, which quickly became my favorite thing to do.

January 10, 2020 at 12:00 amI didn’t really enjoy the philosophy classes because we didn’t have much time to discuss yoga concepts critically. But, I did appreciate the teachers making an effort to review key terms and concepts for exams. However, I believe future yoga teachers should not only know about concepts like chakras, doshas, and gunas but also learn how to evaluate yoga philosophy critically – something we didn’t really do in class.
After two weeks, I lost my enthusiasm for the food.
Despite these minor issues, this retreat far exceeded my expectations in a positive way! It was a fantastic and one-of-a-kind experience. It’s tough to go back home after spending three weeks in such a beautiful and inspiring place. Spyros and Ourania have created a nurturing environment for yogis and future teachers. They are truly amazing teachers. And we were lucky to have Himanshu leading our morning asana practices. His passion and teaching style helped me push myself and get stronger each week. I learned so much from all of them. Each teacher brings something unique to the Shala. Staying in the rice field felt like another world. I cherished every moment there! Thank you for this incredible training!

January 8, 2020 at 12:00 amThe yoga teacher training at YogaUnion is truly outstanding. The teachers are wonderful and professional, the location in the rice fields is beautiful, and the training materials are top-notch. They really take care of each individual in the training, which I appreciated.
Throughout the training, they cover everything you need to know to confidently teach yoga. The yoga shala in the rice fields is gorgeous, and the accommodation is excellent and conveniently close by. The restaurant where we ate had delicious vegetarian (and vegan) options just a short walk away.
The teachers are fantastic – they’re professional, friendly, and really know their stuff. Overall, the quality of the training is top-notch and well-structured.
I found this yoga teacher training to be worth every penny, as it exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend YogaUnion to anyone looking to become a certified yoga teacher or deepen their practice.

December 17, 2019 at 12:00 amThe food at the retreat can get repetitive. Not everyone stays in the same type of accommodation, some in a resort mansion and others in the rice fields. There is a wide variety of places to stay. I wish they had been more upfront about the differences in accommodations. The focus on spirituality and self-development wasn’t as strong as I had hoped, but overall, the experience was life-changing. Despite a few small complaints, the retreat was incredible.
The retreat usually consists of around 30 people, and we all became like family. If you prefer a smaller and more intimate group, this might not be the right fit for you. Personally, I thrive in smaller groups and wish there had been fewer people for more one-on-one time. Despite that, the retreat is amazing and it’s no wonder so many people flock to it. You won’t regret going.
I stayed in the rice fields and it was a stunning and peaceful setting for my yoga teacher training. The training was physically demanding but extremely fulfilling. The teachers, for the most part, were knowledgeable and caring. They are dedicated to helping you become the best yoga teacher possible. The food was decent, even though it did get a bit repetitive towards the end. The staff who prepared the meals were very kind.
Overall, I loved every minute of the experience and wouldn’t change a thing. It was truly unforgettable.

October 30, 2019 at 12:00 amI read every review that said the food is repetitive and standard. Honestly, you don’t need too much variety with the physical stress you put your body through every day. It was just what my body needed after 2 hours of daily vinyasa. I’m so glad I chose this course. I looked at probably thousands in many different countries and this one far exceeded my expectations. It was really hard, but so rewarding once you accomplish it. The group I was with became like family, some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. You laugh, you cry, I even have some bruises… but it’s all worth it.
Considering the super affordable price, it’s so much more than you would expect. Nikki was an outstanding instructor who pushed you just enough to surprise yourself with what you are capable of. Spyros was the best anatomy instructor, so passionate! Thank you Yoga Union!

Himanshu, Ourania, and Spyros were amazing instructors. Himanshu made the classes fun and educational, while Ourania’s powerful yet peaceful presence inspired me and gave me hope. Spyros was down to earth and made anatomy easier to learn. The school is tough with lots of studying and homework, but it’s completely worth it. October 22, 2019 at 12:00 amI loved everything about the training. I wish I could have seen and experienced the main union yoga shala in the ricefields, but I couldn’t because I was in the mansion resort group. Also, I think the closing ceremony is nicer and more authentic there. The resort was sometimes noisy, since our shala was near the pool area, which wasn’t ideal for certain classes. However, the resort itself is very nice! The teachers are amazing. They teach you all you need to know about Asanas, alignment, variation, and the benefits of it all. They are caring and teach you with a serious love and commitment to yoga. It’s like tough but caring love for all the students. I am grateful to Nikole, our main teacher, for all the effort, patience, and care she put into teaching us. Spiros and Ourania are wonderful too, and really build a great yoga community here. It’s a lot of information to take in during the three weeks, so just rest and clear your mind in between classes to absorb it all again for the exam. The teaching structure starts right away and you build your flow step by step, teaching each other. It’s an intense physical, mental, and emotional experience, but amazing, and people grow into a yogi family! I will forever be thankful I did this! Namaste.

September 25, 2019 at 12:00 amThis course worked like magic. It was located right in the center of the rice fields, which was amazing. The guest house I stayed in went above and beyond expectations. I really enjoyed the vegetarian food they served us three times a day during the training.
The instructors were top-notch. Himanshu, an incredible yoga teacher (seriously one of the BEST I’ve ever had), motivated us to push ourselves and reach our full potential. Ourania and Spyros taught alignment and anatomy with incredible knowledge and were fantastic teachers. They gave the clearest instructions and explanations, and were all kind, genuine, and compassionate. They made sure each one of us was happy, healthy, and able to focus solely on yoga.
Throughout the course, we practiced multiple styles of yoga like yin, vinyasa, ashtanga, and hatha. We also tried different types of pranayama and meditation every morning. The workshops helped improve most participants’ practices almost instantly. People were learning headstands, arm balances, and back bends faster and more safely than ever before.
I can’t stress enough how highly I recommend this training. It completely transformed my practice and my life. I hope to someday return to beautiful Ubud to experience even a piece of it again.

September 24, 2019 at 12:00 amI loved staying in the rice fields! However, some of us, myself included, didn’t know we had a choice between staying in the rice fields or the mansion until we got here and the groups were already split. I think it would be helpful to know the options when booking. Even though I was happy where I was, it might not be the same for everyone. Knowing in advance would keep everyone satisfied.
Going for a yoga teacher training was the best decision I ever made. If you’re on the fence about it – just go for it! Bali is a magical place with amazing energy. Add in wonderful teachers like Ourania and Himanshu, and the incredible people you meet here, and it’s a transformative experience. It’s a serene place where you can truly be yourself, surrounded by a supportive community.
The training is tough and you’ll face physical and emotional challenges. There will be moments where you want to quit, but your group will lift you up. No matter your reasons for training, you will grow and become better. The training won’t solve all your problems or make you an expert teacher overnight – both take practice. But YogaUnion in Ubud is the perfect place to start!
To my September course group mates, I’m so grateful to have met you all. You’ve helped me grow and believe in myself more. I hope we’ve helped each other. I wish you all the best in everything you do! And to our incredible teachers – THANK YOU for sharing your wisdom with us!

September 23, 2019 at 12:00 amI recommend revising the training book to fix mistakes and add missing postures. Everything else is perfect. The Ricefield Yoga Shala is like a dream. Every little detail around the place is unique. (Yoga Union offers different classes in Bali, and we were the ricefield group, which was the best choice for me.) The remote location from busy Ubud, the sounds of nature, birds, and sometimes silence, the little pathway to our beautiful shala, the 308 restaurant where Ayung’s chef, Putu, and Yoga (yes, that’s his name, how amazing is that!) serve us every day… at night, the little fireflies and starry sky… it was magical.
We were all spread out in small hotels along the pathway, like neighbors in a little village. My hotel, Nirwa Ubud Karma, was very comfortable, I have no complaints.
The owners of Yoga Union, Ourania and Spyros, probably the cutest couple you’ll ever see, perfectly embody love and devotion. They share love not only between themselves but also with their students. It was important and comforting to feel loved and supported by them during this intense training. The entire training crew was fantastic: Himanshu, Jonas, Saavas, Juan Carlos, Florence, and the help of Pablo. They were all professional and competent.

September 1, 2019 at 12:00 amI was really disappointed by the lack of communication in the beginning about where my training would be held. They advertised it as being in the rice field Shala with food from a nearby organic restaurant, but instead I ended up at the mansion resort with repetitive food that left me feeling less than nourished after long yoga sessions.
But I have to say, the incredible instructors made up for it. They were absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t change them for anything. I did wish for a more personal growth experience, but I still learned a lot about myself.
The instructors were phenomenal, each with their own passion and expertise. They really made the whole experience worthwhile. I gained so much knowledge about yoga, anatomy, and philosophy in just 3 weeks, thanks to them.
Throughout the training, Yoga Union was always there to listen to our concerns and make sure our needs were met. I felt safe and taken care of, especially since most of us were traveling from far away.

September 1, 2019 at 12:00 amWe didn’t get a lot of personal critique on our teaching or personal yoga practice because we had a large group, probably because it was in August. But having a big group brought a great energy and it was awesome to share the experience with people from around the world. The more students, the more knowledge to gain. The Shala was located in a breathtaking setting in the rice fields, with a lot of attention to detail in creating such a beautiful space. Being surrounded by the magic of the real Ubud every day was a privilege, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
The teaching was top-notch with a variety of teachers, each bringing their own unique charm. They made us feel welcome, safe, and catered to everyone’s needs throughout the course. There was a good mix of yoga styles and workshops to keep things interesting. The course really prepared us to become teachers in a short amount of time and I was able to improve my own practice as well.
The anatomy and philosophy lessons were engaging and gave a different perspective to yoga beyond just the physical aspect. The food at the nearby restaurant exceeded expectations with a nice variety and the staff were accommodating to dietary needs.
Overall, the experience at YogaUnion was incredible and I am forever grateful for the rich and fulfilling experience.

August 27, 2019 at 12:00 amThe food sometimes got a bit boring, but it’s easy to just go down the street and buy something on those days. The schedule for the last few weeks seemed a bit disorganized, but it still worked out fine. I wish we had more practice teaching time, but I think the other group got more of that so it depends on your teacher (ours was still great). The accommodation was much nicer than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The teachers were all awesome and really understanding and accommodating for our injuries and other issues. The daily schedule was good, and not having to find and cook my own food after long days was a major plus! I would definitely recommend these guys 🙂

August 27, 2019 at 12:00 amThe food sometimes lacks research, but hey, no big deal! Clear explanations, challenges, kindness, understanding, and achievable expectations. Everything exceeded my expectations.

August 27, 2019 at 12:00 amWe didn’t practice in the beautiful yoga Shala in the rice fields that you see in the pictures. Our place was still nice but I wish we had known about the change beforehand. All the instructors were experienced and had amazing personalities. It was great to be trained by so many different people.

August 27, 2019 at 12:00 amOur group was pretty large this time of year, which sometimes caused issues at meal times and when there was only one teacher in the shala. But they did well to make sure everyone was involved.
The arrival experience felt a little disorganized and could have used clearer instructions to make the process smoother and less stressful.
But the course itself was simply excellent. Every teacher was an authentic version of themselves, providing us with a great variety of teaching styles and perspectives. Their passion for yoga and the yogic lifestyle was truly inspiring.
This course was exactly what I needed at this time in my life, and the whole experience turned out to be more enriching than I had ever imagined.

August 27, 2019 at 12:00 amMaybe there were more than 30 of us, but the classes were excellent. These amazing people shared so much with us, both professionally and as individuals.

August 27, 2019 at 12:00 amEvery day, we only had tofu and rice for food. I wish there was a bit more spirituality and philosophy infused into our meals. The teachers were very experienced and provided high-quality training. I absolutely loved it! They were so knowledgeable, and I learned a ton in a short amount of time. It was an experience that I will always cherish. Ubud is the most beautiful place. I will definitely recommend this to everyone.

April 23, 2019 at 12:00 am1) The food at the Mansion got pretty repetitive – lots of vegetables (meat-lovers, beware!). But breakfast was great! They had the best spread of food.
2) The course can get quite intense (as expected!) By the second week, lots of people were burning out or falling ill. We could have done a better job at pacing ourselves. Our group was also slightly unfortunate because our break days were messed up, so we had 9 days straight of practice in the second week, contributing to the exhaustion. However, the instructors were very supportive and allowed us to take breaks when needed, which was much appreciated! Overall, I was completely blown away by the whole experience without any expectations.
1) The course really challenges you – you learn about yoga holistically through three main classes: asana (postures) alignment, philosophy of yoga, and anatomy. You also learn about pranayama (breathing), meditation, and the practice of teaching a class. You are assigned to prepare a class almost every day, with the length of the lesson increasing incrementally as the course progresses.
2) In terms of accommodation, our group was unable to practice at the regular shala and were relocated to the Mansion Hotel in Ubud instead. It’s a really nice resort, so there were no complaints there. I shared a room with another person in a whole family suite.
3) One of the best takeaways from the course is the sense of community you find. I met people of different ages from all over the world, and our shared open-minded attitude towards learning and growing made our differences inconsequential. I made some amazing friends from this course, and even after it ended, we continued to hang out in Bali or visit each other’s countries. I would advise people to consider extending their stay in Bali to spend more time with new friends.

April 20, 2019 at 12:00 amUnfortunately, due to conditions beyond the school’s control, the location didn’t meet my expectations. Living in Dubai, I was really looking forward to coming to Ubud to stay in the rice fields and be surrounded by nature. Instead, we were placed in the Mansion hotel. Don’t get me wrong, it was a beautiful place and we were treated very well, but I was hoping for a more nature-filled experience.
On the bright side, I did get to see Yoga Union’s shala and it was absolutely stunning! It was completely surrounded by rice fields, making it the most beautiful shala I’ve ever seen. The teachers were amazing and the whole experience has been incredible, helping me on my journey to becoming a yoga teacher.
The lessons were fun and interactive, providing exciting challenges every day. The teachers took great care of us and made sure we were all doing well throughout the course. I learned so much every day and met some incredible people who I hope will be lifelong friends.
I would love to come back to Yoga Union one day and highly recommend the school to anyone looking to become a yoga teacher.

April 20, 2019 at 12:00 amI found 23 days to be too short! Everything exceeded my expectations. I’ve done a few yoga retreat programs before, so I thought I knew what to expect. But you know what, I was pleasantly surprised. I gained a deeper understanding of myself and the confidence to become the person I aspire to be. Most importantly, I felt happy throughout the entire experience! The teachers provided just the right amount of guidance, allowing me to grow while also learning the fundamentals. Huge thanks to all the teachers and everyone who made this program possible. I absolutely love Yoga Union!

April 5, 2019 at 12:00 amThe food was maybe just a tad repetitive, but still delicious. That’s really the only fault I could find! I loved everything else about the program. The teachers are amazing and so supportive. I feel like I’ve grown mentally, physically, and spiritually. Thanks to the extensive anatomy coverage, I now feel confident in my teaching abilities moving forward. It’s not often that you find a course that covers everything so thoroughly. Overall, I couldn’t find a single thing to fault.

March 25, 2019 at 12:00 amThe program in Bali had a few minor issues due to its newness. It could have been easier to pay the rest of the program fee with a method like PayPal. The accommodations were decent, but some guesthouses were better than others despite the same price. The restaurant where we ate was lovely and the staff were friendly, but the menu was repetitive until we asked for a change. These were small problems, but I would still wholeheartedly recommend this yoga training. I absolutely loved the experience. The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and embodied Yogi philosophies. The vinyasa classes were diverse and creative, making it hard to find similar classes at home. I left the program feeling fully prepared to start teaching my own classes.

March 6, 2019 at 12:00 amI loved every minute of the Yoga Teacher Training! Ourania, Spyros, Sarah, and Magda, thank you so much for an incredible experience. I wish I could relive it all over again. Every meditation, Vinyasa, Yin class, workshop, alignment, anatomy, and philosophy class was amazing. Trusting my intuition and booking with YogaUnion was the best decision I made. It was a tough journey, but totally worth it. Can’t wait to do it all again!

February 26, 2019 at 12:00 amIt’s so sad that it had to end 🙁 I absolutely loved the area – it’s like my new home! The shala was perfectly located and the teachers were amazing and genuine. These 3 weeks have truly changed me as a person. I enjoyed every second and I can’t wait to go back soon!

February 26, 2019 at 12:00 amMaybe I’ll say that food could have been more varied over the three weeks. But I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it. It’s just that it could have been even better!!! Their skills, their knowledge, their way of sharing it with us. Their availability. It’s a magical place.

January 11, 2019 at 12:00 amThe food could have had more flavor. I enjoyed the breakfast, but felt that the lunch and dinner were lacking a bit in taste. However, there are plenty of affordable options nearby for a more diverse diet during the 3 weeks.
The amazing teachers were always eager to share their knowledge, the yoga shala was nestled in the middle of the picturesque rice fields, and the positive energy of the group made this training a truly wonderful experience.
