It’s an amazing tool to help pregnant women navigate through these changes. Prenatal yoga is a specialized form that focuses on the unique needs of expecting moms. By incorporating gentle stretches, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, it can improve their physical health, reduce stress and anxiety, and even help them bond with their unborn little ones. So get ready to dive into this incredible journey with us!
The training program allows students to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT®) once completed.
Prenatal yoga is designed specifically for pregnant women to support their physical and emotional well-being throughout their pregnancy. It involves modified yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation practices that are safe and suitable for pregnant women. The benefits of prenatal yoga include improved flexibility, strength, balance, and reduced stress and anxiety. It can also help prepare women for childbirth by teaching them breathing and relaxation techniques.
To be eligible for the program, participants should have a basic understanding of yoga and at least 6 months of consistent yoga practice, with experience or interest in prenatal yoga teaching. There are no specific academic requirements, but candidates should have completed high school or an equivalent qualification. Proficiency in English is necessary as the course materials and instruction will be in English. Good physical health is also important due to the practical training and physical activity involved.
It’s important to note that the prenatal yoga teacher training is intensive and requires full commitment and dedication. Participants should be prepared to invest the necessary time and effort to successfully complete the course.
During the training, participants will learn about the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, breathing and meditation techniques for pregnancy and childbirth, self-care during pregnancy, asana practice, Ayurveda and nutrition, and precautions to be taken during pregnancy. The course consists of 85 hours, with 45 hours of in-person training and 40 hours of online course videos.
A daily schedule is provided, including prenatal asana, anatomy, pranayama, breakfast, yoga therapy, yoga alignment, lunch, philosophy, yoga nidra, healing, asana practice, meditation, dinner, and lights off. Attendance in all classes is mandatory, unless there is an emergency or illness with permission from the teachers. Uninformed leaves will affect student performance.

November 21, 2023 at 12:00 amI’m not sure about the agreement between World Peace Yoga school and the hotel, but I think we could have gotten better food for the money we paid. The meals at the training were mostly steamed or fried rice/french fries with veggies, tofu, tempeh, and salad. Sometimes the salad wasn’t washed well or there was mold on the plate. I wished we had more nutritious ingredients like quinoa, lentils, or other nuts. Breakfast was good though!
Another thing that bothered me was that the teacher training I actually booked was completely different from what I experienced. The hotel photos were misleading, and it seems like this program was new. I expected more focus on Ayurveda, but we only had 2 lessons about it. However, I’m still happy with what I learned and experienced. Just wanted to let others know that what you book may not be what you get, but it can be a good life lesson. ?
I really enjoyed learning from the teachers and deepening my knowledge about Yoga. Thank you, Ashu, for sharing your Indian culture in the lessons, even though sometimes the storytelling was hard to connect to the topic. But it was important to understand the roots of Yoga.
The schedule was tight, but I wanted to fully engage in the experience. The lessons were of excellent quality, and the teachers were devoted to teaching us thoroughly. That was the most important thing to me. Thank you very much.??
The hotel resort was clean, and I loved my spacious room. The rooftop was the best spot for meditation. Having a small gym was also a nice addition!

August 24, 2023 at 12:00 amI just finished my 200hr Kundalini YTT with World Peace Yoga School, and let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible! The beautiful setting in Bali definitely added to the experience, but the real magic came from the amazing teachers. They taught with passion and kept us engaged throughout, while creating a safe space for us to heal, learn, and grow. I can’t express how grateful I am for this enriching experience and for the wonderful GuruJi and HariPriya. They truly made it unforgettable.

June 5, 2023 at 12:00 am…..there was nothing not to like – everything was just as it should be 🙂 I just got back from my 200 hour Kundalini Teacher training, and I can’t even begin to describe how amazing it was. This experience has truly been one of the best in my life, and I’m already counting down the days until I can go back for more.
The teachers at the training were absolutely incredible. Their knowledge, passion, and clarity in delivering information were beyond question. They really knew their stuff, and it showed in the way they taught.
And let’s talk about the food! The kitchen staff prepared three fresh and varied meals every day, and they were absolutely delicious. I didn’t get sick at all during my stay, which is a testament to the quality of their cooking.
The front of house staff were also amazing. They were always there to help with any questions or concerns, and they always had a solution. Everyone at the training was so kind, caring, respectful, and friendly. It truly felt like a supportive and welcoming community.

March 29, 2023 at 12:00 amThe yoga hall was dirty and it had extreme temperatures due to the rooftop construction. I caught a cold after it rained for two days. The props were filthy and had a bad odor. The overall atmosphere of the school wasn’t pleasant. It had a commercial vibe and lacked positive energy. I ended up not completing the course because of these issues. Everyone in my group was frustrated too. It was supposed to be a nice experience, but it didn’t turn out that way. On the bright side, the group itself was nice, and there were some good lessons. Additionally, the school had a nice location and a pretty view.

June 17, 2022 at 12:00 amI regretted staying at the school because paying just for the course and finding other accommodations and meals would have made my experience better and saved me money. I ended up eating out most of the time because many students before me got sick from the food and water there. The food wasn’t balanced and lacked nutrition, mainly consisting of carbs and oil. The accommodation was basic and the bed was even harder than the wooden one I had during Vipassana retreat. If I had stayed at a hostel, I would have had a cleaner space, no curfew at 10:30pm, a comfortable bed, and probably fewer nightmares. On the bright side, the teachers here are all amazing. I had the privilege of being taught by Dr. Lata Ji, Sunil Ji, Kanna Ji, Dr. Himanshu Ji, Naveen Ji, and a special shoutout to Siddha Ji. Each of them is incredibly knowledgeable about their subject and they have a unique way of explaining things that really expanded my mind. I felt grateful every day for the opportunity to learn from such highly educated and intelligent individuals.

May 31, 2022 at 12:00 amThere are no tools for cleaning, so you can’t mop or wash the sink in the room. The food was alright for the first two weeks, but then they just gave us the same things every day, so I started eating out all the time… I thought I was coming here to get healthier, but I actually ended up gaining weight :/ I really liked the group of people who were getting certified with me… we all got along really well. The days were fun, busy, and filled with activity.
I absolutely loved the ashtanga classes with Ashu, where they taught adjustment and alignment. The anatomy classes with Himanshu were also a favorite of mine. And I really enjoyed the Philosophy classes too :).

October 19, 2020 at 12:00 amI struggled to use WhatsApp because my phone didn’t have enough storage, but despite that, I found the app itself and the communication to be wonderful. The training I attended was absolutely amazing! We delved into beautiful philosophies, practiced wonderful mantras, enjoyed chanting, and had an incredible yoga tantra practice. The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and had such warm hearts. Guru Vishnu, in particular, has the biggest heart and exudes peace and radiance. He is so generous with his time, knowledge, resources, and love. He truly is a blessing and this three-day training opened my eyes to so much more than I ever imagined and only dreamed of. I highly recommend any training with Guru Vishnu. You won’t regret it, and you will see tremendous growth in your heart and in your practice. Namaste.

Originally, I was supposed to travel to India for the 200h yoga teacher training course. Unfortunately, due to the Corona virus, I had to postpone it until next year. June 15, 2020 at 12:00 amThe Internet in India can be quite temperamental, so we had to exercise patience. However, we always managed to fix the issues, though it was definitely a challenge.
This review covers both accommodation and food, but keep in mind that it was an online course. Let me tell you, the course was absolutely fantastic! It was divided into two parts: theory and practical. And guess what? I enjoyed both of them!
The theory part might be a little tricky to grasp, so it would be helpful if you have some prior knowledge about Hindu gods and goddesses.
Now let me tell you about the practical classes; they were simply incredible! Every day, I felt completely refreshed, rejuvenated, and filled with love. The instructors delivered these classes with confidence and extensive knowledge. Their passion was truly inspiring, especially considering they were teaching through a screen. This just goes to show the school and the course’s excellence.
I would definitely recommend this course to my friends and encourage everyone to approach it with an open mind. I learned so much that I can integrate into my own practice and teaching.
Lastly, it was truly delightful to connect with people from all around the world during this experience.

June 15, 2020 at 12:00 amI loved it all! Vishnu really knows how to give an amazing overview of the symbolism of Tantra. He teaches us that if we don’t understand the symbolism, we can easily misinterpret it. And just like any great teaching, the ultimate goal is Union. It’s serious knowledge, but somehow Vishnu understands how to connect with his students, even through online classes.
Radha’s Tantra flow class is absolutely beautiful. She takes us on a journey deep into the vibrations of Tantric practices.
I’m currently doing the 200 hour teacher training, and let me tell you, the instruction on Tantra and Yoga is incredibly profound. World Peace Yoga has an incredible team. Once you join their family, it will truly transform you!

June 4, 2020 at 12:00 amThere’s nothing noteworthy about it. I had high expectations coming into this course because of my previous experience, but let me tell you, I was completely taken aback. This course is on a whole different level. It feels like a real classroom with the teachers right in front of us. They address any questions or confusion right away, just like a typical classroom setting. And the teachers themselves are incredibly knowledgeable and professional.
The main focus of the instruction is to make this experience fun while also developing our skills in focus, confidence, and mind/body awareness. They want us to become competent teachers who are healthy in mind, body, and spirit. The course materials are well-researched, well-balanced, and easy to understand.
I’m confident that I’ll leave this course fully prepared to tackle any challenges life throws at me. Being part of this online course has been a pleasure, especially considering it’s their first one. I’m so impressed that once Covid-19 is over, my wife and I plan on attending a course in person and meeting Guruji and the other teachers. In fact, I’ve already registered for a Tantra course and I’ll be following it up with more courses, as I believe I’ve embarked on a lifelong journey.
The course was presented in such a professional manner, with great clarity and attention to detail, that I truly believe this is a fresh start for World Peace Yoga School. May God bless this school.

January 28, 2020 at 12:00 amThe facilities at this place are absolutely terrible. The walls are covered in mold, everything is dirty, and the food options are limited to just carbs. The kitchen is disgustingly dirty. Our class had four people, three of whom lived on the school premises, and we all ended up getting extremely sick. The female dorm doesn’t even have hot water, and there’s a water outage at least once every day. The staff is incredibly impolite and all they do is sit around playing on their phones. It’s even worse when the owner himself is on his phone during kirtan. We enrolled in this school to complete a 300-hour program, but we didn’t even come close. We barely received half the hours required for certification. This school is a complete scam and should not be allowed to provide certification. They don’t meet the requirements set by Yoga Alliance.
Thankfully, BookYogaRetreats assisted us in getting a refund. However, the refund from the school was very small, and we only received a refund of the commission from BookYogaRetreats. I would not recommend this place to anyone. On a positive note, the location was convenient and easily accessible to everything. The anatomy, hatha, and alignment classes were good, and the teachers were knowledgeable.

July 27, 2019 at 12:00 amThe heat in the summer was sometimes a challenge, especially when there were power cuts. But the school has no control over that. I can’t find enough words to express how happy and grateful I am for choosing this school! From the very beginning, everyone made us feel at home – a home away from home – and I truly appreciate that. The training syllabus is outstanding, with super interesting and relevant subjects for anyone interested in delving deeper into the ancient knowledge of Yoga after completing the 200hr course. And this wouldn’t be possible without the amazing, professional, and inspirational teachers and founder. You can see how Yoga is a central part of their daily lives. The staff, both at reception and in the kitchen, are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are always ready to assist with a smile. The atmosphere and energy of the place are wonderful – it feels light and bright. The school also has a beautiful garden area and a large balcony with a view of the mountains. The class halls are clean and fully equipped. I want to thank each and every one of you for making this transformational experience in my life so unique. Thanks to you, I now feel like I have a home in Rishikesh. If I ever consider taking another Yoga training, this will definitely be the place. If you’re looking for a truthful, enriching, and transformational Yoga experience, this is the place to be!

July 9, 2019 at 12:00 amUnfortunately, the yoga classes were taught in Lithuanian due to a last-minute teacher change, even though they were announced in English. However, thanks to a very capable translator and the dedication of the yoga teacher, this was well handled! Overall, it was a wonderful experience in Lithuania. The accommodation was satisfactory. On the other hand, the food was fantastic, with fresh vegan options every day. The sessions with Vishnu Pranighari were incredibly valuable. The yoga instruction provided by a Lithuanian yoga teacher also greatly enriched my yoga practice.

December 31, 2018 at 12:00 amI wasn’t really disappointed by anything. I knew the ashram wouldn’t be a fancy 5-star hotel, but it had everything I needed. When I went in December, it was a bit colder than I expected, but with enough blankets, it was fine. The hot water for showers didn’t last very long, but that’s alright because the cold water actually helped wake me up in the mornings! The 200 hour Kundalini yoga teacher training I did was even better than I imagined. The staff and teachers were amazing – they were so knowledgeable and friendly. They felt like family. Even though it was an intense course with early mornings and late nights, I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the spiritual side of yoga. We had plenty of chances to practice meditation, asanas, and more with the group. And we still had enough free time to explore the town and have fun!

December 5, 2018 at 12:00 amWe only spent 10 minutes on teaching methodology. Honestly, I was expecting to spend more time on topics like how to build a sequence, proper postures during practice, and what to do at the beginning and end of each session. I think this should be introduced from the second week, and students should be asked to practice for 30 minutes every day and receive constructive feedback. After all, I chose this course to become a teacher, not just to practice yoga daily.
Speaking of feedback, as a student, I believe it would be more beneficial to receive constructive criticism from the teachers rather than just hearing “very good” all the time. I want to know how I’m progressing and what I can improve on. Throughout the course, we asked for constructive feedback several times, but we always got the same response of “very good.”
Now, let’s talk about food. As a yogi, I expected simple and bland meals, or at least not heavily spiced ones. However, the food served during lunch and dinner was always the same, with the only difference being chapati at dinner. The meals were quite heavy and contained lots of black pepper. I specifically requested bland food, but ended up eating boiled carrots and potatoes for a whole month. As a yogi, I believe the food should support the overall well-being of my body, mind, and soul.
Moving on to the manual, in my opinion, it should include detailed adjustments for each pose. The section on anatomy should provide general information about each system, but the explanation of muscles is lacking. It should also include postures that are suitable for individuals with specific conditions or muscle imbalances, such as herniated discs.
Despite these issues, I am grateful for this experience as it allowed me to delve deeper into myself and change my perspective on life and the world. I learned various breathing techniques and skills that can enhance my daily life. I have gained valuable knowledge that I can now share with others. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunity to connect and live with people from different countries, learning how to share dining and personal spaces. It was a great experience because I was able to be myself without feeling pressured to change or be someone else. I am truly thankful for all the time and knowledge shared by each teacher.

October 31, 2018 at 12:00 amThe course has ended and I really enjoyed it! Just a heads up, the accommodation wasn’t the best, but the view from the room made up for it. The food was absolutely amazing and you could tell it was made with love. It did get a bit repetitive, but still really good. Oh, and let me tell you about the teachers, they were incredible! Every single one of them was so inspiring and knowledgeable, and they genuinely seemed interested in our learning. The subjects were fascinating and taught really well. The atmosphere was perfect for diving deep into yourself and for sharing your spiritual journey with like-minded people. The city of Rishikesh is also breathtaking, and the people there are wonderful (make sure to plan some extra days to explore the city). Overall, I highly recommend it!

July 29, 2018 at 12:00 amThe accommodation was incredibly dirty and noisy, making it difficult for me to sleep with the loud motorbike and animal sounds. July 23, 2018 at 12:00 amThe course timetable and what’s included in it, as well as the location and accommodation, were falsely advertised. We were given fewer teaching hours than we expected and absolutely no teaching methodology was covered. As a result, the overall atmosphere was disappointing and tense, far from being a yogic vibe. I wouldn’t recommend it and would describe it more as a Yin intensive rather than a teacher training. However, the location, accommodation, and food were good, and some of the staff were very knowledgeable. They did listen to complaints and tried to make adjustments.

June 6, 2018 at 12:00 amI absolutely loved everything about it! Even though the living conditions were a bit different from what I’m used to, it was all part of the experience and I felt safe the whole time. Some students complained about the food, but hey, you can’t please everyone. Personally, I didn’t have any complaints. Plus, you always have the option to go to a local cafe or restaurant and get a whole meal for less than $4 USD.
I can’t fully express how amazing and fulfilling my 200hr yoga certification course at World Peace Yoga School in Rishikesh was. From the moment I arrived, it felt like home. The owner, Guru Vishnu, welcomed us at the entrance, and a volunteer helped us with our luggage and showed us to our rooms. Everyone there is incredibly kind and becomes your friend. I’ve truly deepened my yoga beliefs and knowledge.
I had my doubts about taking the course here in Rishikesh instead of doing it weekly in the city, coming from NYC. But I was blown away and so grateful that I decided to do my certification here. The teachers are the absolute best and they have so much knowledge to share. Classes start at 6am and go until 7pm, six days a week, so you’re really pushed physically and mentally. But in the end, it’s all worth it.
I could honestly keep talking about all the amazing people and experiences at WPYS, but there’s just not enough space here, haha. I’m excited to complete my 300hr course here, hopefully within the next year or two, once I apply everything I’ve learned at home. 🙂

February 16, 2018 at 12:00 amI was expecting to have different teachers, but it turned out that we had the same ones. We had actually booked to stay at the tapovan resort, but unfortunately, we were taken somewhere else instead. The place we stayed at was just okay, considering the amount of money we had paid. It wasn’t great. Communicating with the staff was really difficult because they didn’t speak English. It felt like they were laughing and gossiping about us behind our backs, which was not a pleasant experience. To make things even weirder, we had to wake them up at 7:30am, and they were sleeping on the floor of the dining room. One of the staff members who took us to the Beatles Ashram had never been there before and had to ask for directions. It was quite hilarious when she admitted she didn’t know who the Beatles were! We ended up exploring on our own most of the time. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend going back to this place. It was disorganized and frustrating. On a positive note, the yoga teacher was pretty good. He was nice and taught well.

January 21, 2018 at 12:00 amThe rooms felt freezing. When I asked about heat, they told me to stick the dusty wires into the hole in my room. The sheets were old and dirty. The room was so depressing and cold that I couldn’t even shower because my towel never dried and I would freeze getting out. I ended up showering at my friend’s place around the corner. I only got to go on 3 excursions, even though I was there for 5 days. When I talked to people I met, they told me they paid a lot less and were much happier with their accommodations. The staff didn’t offer any advice or help with the trips. I was the only one on the retreat that week, and I felt like I was more of a bother than a guest. It seemed like they took my money at the beginning and then forgot about me. I’m sad to say that I wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it to anyone. January 7, 2018 at 12:00 amI arrived as planned on Dec 25, but my room wasn’t ready due to plumbing issues. They moved me to a subpar place across the street. It wasn’t until I raised my concerns about the unfairness that they finally transferred me to a better room. However, it still wasn’t ready for another two nights. By then, it was too late to switch again, so I decided to leave the retreat program and attend yoga classes at nearby studios instead. The assigned yoga instructor wasn’t great and treated us as if we were in a teacher training program rather than a retreat, constantly repeating himself.
WPY couldn’t provide the experience I signed up for and refused to refund my deposit despite breaking the contract. I felt scammed and won’t be returning or recommending the school. However, the food on Christmas night was delicious and plentiful.
Someone picked me up from the bus station and even took me to the market to buy thermals because it was so cold. The driver and his partner were incredibly kind, sweet, and considerate.

December 21, 2017 at 12:00 amDuring a 15-day stay, half of the price covers the classes and meals, while the other half is for the accommodation. At this rate (600 euros/month), you will have a shared room with a bathroom. The bathroom is very dirty (even though it may seem clean for India), the sheets and towels were all stained, and the blankets and pillows smelled really bad. Plastic garbage littered the garden beds along with some forgotten old laundry. I won’t even dwell on the dishwashing area, which was frankly disgusting and nauseating (dishes draining in old juice), and the osmosis water filter was yellow (do not drink the water!!). In short, for a price close to European rates, you will get a dump…. otherwise, you can find accommodation of the same quality for three times less in the immediate vicinity… if you still plan on sleeping there, don’t forget your towel and pillow if you have the space! Quality education, very interesting classes.

April 17, 2017 at 12:00 amI had to adjust to walking on Laxman Juhla bridge on the first day, dodging scooters, monkeys, cows, and the rush of people. But it’s all part of the experience, and now that I’m back, I miss it all. The chaos of the streets in Rishikesh took some getting used to, but once I did, I experienced the magic of the place. The power of the river Ganga is palpable on the beaches, its sound and energy making it clear why it’s considered divine. In the evening, the mountains that surround Rishikesh look like black clouds against the grey sky, while the town echoes with prayers from the ashrams. The people here are amazing – not focused on money, but welcoming and spiritual. The yoga teachers are fantastic, well-prepared and able to help correct your postures in a professional manner. I can’t wait to go back.
