Kundalini chakras and activation

Kundalini is a Sanskrit term that refers to the spiritual energy that is said to lead to higher levels of consciousness and spiritual enlightenment. Chakras are the energy centers in the human body. There are a total of seven major chakras in the human body, and each is associated with a different color and has a different function. The first Kundalini chakra is said to be located at the base of the spine. When this chakra is activated, the Kundalini energy is said to rise through the chakras, bringing about spiritual awakening and transformation. The activation of the Kundalini chakra can occur spontaneously or through specific practices such as yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises. Awakening the Kundalini energy is a powerful experience that should be approached under the guidance of a qualified spiritual teacher or practitioner available at World Peace Yoga School.

Kundalini yoga traditions followed at World Peace Yoga School

World Peace Yoga School follows Kundalini Tantra and yoga traditions. These are the two important traditions that involve the awakening of the Kundalini energy in any human body. Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that incorporates meditation, asana, breathing techniques, and mantra chanting to awaken the Kundalini energy and move it up through the chakras. Kundalini Tantra, on the other hand, is a form of Tantra that uses meditation, visualization, and ritual to awaken and harness the Kundalini energy for spiritual and personal growth. The practice of Kundalini yoga and Kundalini Tantra can be beneficial for students because it offers a unique approach to spiritual and physical development. The awakening of the Kundalini brings a range of benefits, including healthier life, heightened awareness, increased creativity, improved physical health, and greater spiritual connection. World Peace Yoga School offers a holistic approach to yoga that incorporates the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of the practice. This can help students develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their connection to the world around them.

Seven chakras in Kundalini yoga

Kundalini chakras are the seven major energy centers in the human body, according to Kundalini yoga and Tantra traditions. Each chakra is associated with a different color, element, and area of the body, and is believed to be responsible for regulating physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.There are several ways to awaken each chakra, including yoga postures, meditation, visualization, chanting, and pranayama (breathing exercises). The best way to awaken each chakra may vary depending on the individual's needs and level of practice. It is recommended to work with a qualified teacher or practitioner who can guide you through the practice and ensure your safety and well-being.

Have a look at seven chakras:

1. Root chakra (muladhara)

The muladhara chakra is considered to be the foundation for the Kundalini energy and is therefore an important chakra in the awakening process. Kundalini awakening starts at the muladhara chakra, and as the energy rises through the other chakras, it leads to greater spiritual awareness and awakening. The chakra is also associated with the qualities of grounding, stability, and security. When this chakra is balanced and functioning properly, it helps one feel rooted and grounded in their physical body and the present moment. It also helps them feel secure and stable in their relationships and their material and financial situations.

2. Sacral chakra (svadhisthana)

The swadhisthana chakra is considered to be the center of creativity, sensuality, and pleasure. It is also associated with emotional balance, flexibility, and adaptability. When this chakra is balanced and functioning properly, it helps individuals to experience joy, pleasure, and passion in their lives. It is important because it plays a key role in people's ability to connect with their emotions and healthily express them. When this chakra is blocked or unbalanced, it can lead to a range of emotional and physical issues, including depression, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, and addiction.

3. Solar plexus chakra (manipura)

The manipura chakra is the center of willpower, physical power, and self-esteem. It is also associated with metabolism, digestion, and energy levels. When this chakra is balanced and functioning properly, it helps one to feel motivated, confident, and empowered. The manipura chakra is important because it plays a key role in one's ability to take action and manifest their goals or desires. But when manipura is blocked or unbalanced, it can lead to a range of physical or emotional issues, including lack of motivation, low self-esteem, digestive problems, and fatigue.

4. Heart chakra (anahata)

It is an important chakra as it plays a key role in one's ability to give and receive love, form meaningful relationships with others, and experience joy and gratitude in their lives. When this chakra is blocked or unbalanced, it can lead to a range of respiratory, emotional, and physical issues such as heart problems, depression, loneliness, etc. By cultivating emotions, compassion, and love through the practices of Kundalini yoga, one can open their hearts and experience greater joy and connection in their lives.

5. Throat chakra (vishuddha)

The throat chakra, or vishuddha, is the fifth chakra in the Kundalini yoga system. It is situated in the middle of the neck and is connected to the sense of hearing, the ether element, and the color blue. According to traditional beliefs, the vishuddha chakra is the seat of creativity, self-expression, and communication. It is a significant chakra since it is essential to one's capacity for genuine expression and good interpersonal communication. People may reach their full potential and live their lives to the fullest by practicing Kundalini yoga, which fosters communication, self-expression, and creativity.

6. Third eye chakra (ajna)

According to yogis, it is the sixth chakra located in the middle of the forehead and is linked to the element of light and intuition. The Ajna chakra is thought to be the seat of intuition, inner knowledge, and spiritual insight. It is a significant chakra because it is essential to one's capacity to enter into levels of higher awareness and communicate with their inner selves. Confusion, headaches, and loss of focus are just a few of the emotional and physical problems that can result from this chakra being blocked or out of balance.

7. Crown chakra (sahasrara)

Sahasrara is referred to as the crown chakra. It is found near the top of the skull and is linked to the cosmic element and a feeling of unity. The sahasrara chakra is regarded as the seat of connection, divine wisdom, and enlightenment to the spiritual world. Being a symbol of the greatest state of awareness and the culmination of spiritual work, it is a significant chakra. A variety of emotional and physical problems like a sensation of spiritual emptiness and a sense of being cut off from the divine can arise when this chakra is out of balance or blocked.

Kundalini awakening

The Kundalini chakra can awaken on its own or as a result of specialized activities like yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques. It is crucial to remember that the Kundalini energy awakening may be a potent experience that should be handled carefully and under the supervision of a trained spiritual teacher or practitioner. For yogis who desire to improve their practice and teachings of Kundalini yoga, get certified as professional Kundalini yoga teachers, and experience the beauty and culture of Bali, this 500-hour Kundalini yoga teacher training course in Bali is a special and significant opportunity.

Food

At World Peace Yoga School, we offer all three meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – except on Sundays. Our meals are prepared following Ayurvedic culinary concepts, which focus on using Sattvic foods in traditional Indian cuisines. These foods are known for their ability to support a healthy mind and body balance, promoting feelings of levity, clarity, and tranquility. The Sattvic diet includes fresh fruit, vegetables, cooked whole grains, milk, legumes, nuts, and seeds while excluding meat, fish, and eggs.

Now let’s talk about what a yogic diet is. A yogic diet is a plant-based diet that emphasizes wholesome, naturally occurring foods that are nutritious and easily digestible. This diet is an important part of the yoga lifestyle as it helps achieve balance and optimal health for the body and mind. One of the main advantages of a yogic diet is its ability to cleanse and detoxify the body, removing toxins and waste products that can lead to illness. It is also rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which enhance overall health, improve digestion, and strengthen the immune system.

But a yogic diet is not only beneficial for physical health; it also contributes to mental and emotional well-being. By consuming healthy and easily digestible foods, a plant-based diet can increase mental clarity and focus, while calming the mind and reducing stress and anxiety. For practitioners, incorporating a yogic diet is a comprehensive approach to health and well-being, helping them achieve maximum vitality and balance in all aspects of their lives.

I’m not exactly sure what the agreement was between World Peace Yoga school and the hotel, but I think we could have gotten better quality food for the money we paid. When I booked this teacher training, I thought I could handle eating the same meal every day, but I was definitely mistaken. We mainly had steamed or fried rice, french fries with vegetables, tofu and tempeh, and salad, and sometimes the salad was not washed properly or there was mold on the plate. I would have liked more nutritious options like quinoa, lentils, or different types of nuts, even if it was only every few days. On the bright side, breakfast was good!

Another thing that bothered me was that the teacher training I actually booked was completely different from what I experienced. The pictures of the hotel and everything were completely different, and it seems like this program didn’t exist before. The title of the training had “Ayurveda” in it, so I expected more discussions on that topic, but we only had two lessons about it in the end. However, I am still happy with what I learned and experienced! I just wanted to let potential reviewers know that what you book might be completely different from what you expect, but it could be a valuable life lesson. I loved learning from the teachers and deepening my knowledge of Yoga. Thank you Ashu for incorporating your Indian culture into the lessons, although sometimes it was challenging to connect the storytelling with what we initially discussed. But I felt it was important to understand the roots of Yoga.

The schedule was packed, but that’s what I wanted so I could fully immerse myself in the experience. The quality of the lessons was exceptional, and the teachers were dedicated to teaching us thoroughly, which was the most important aspect for me. Thank you so much.??

The hotel resort was clean, and I enjoyed having a spacious room all to myself. The best place for meditation was the rooftop, and having a small gym was a nice addition too!

I just finished the 200hr Kundalini YTT with World Peace Yoga School and it was absolutely amazing. Bali provided such a beautiful backdrop, but it was the incredible teachers who made this experience truly special. They passionately shared their wisdom and knowledge with us, creating a safe and nurturing environment for healing, learning, and personal growth. I will forever be grateful for GuruJi, HariPriya, and this soul-enriching journey.

Il y avait des travaux dans le bâtiment qui faisaient du bruit, mais ils ont rapidement été terminés. L’équipe d’enseignement était disponible, réactive et proposait des activités annexes, ainsi que l’initiation au Gayatri mantra.

I loved everything about it! My 200 hour Kundalini Teacher training was absolutely amazing. Words can’t fully express how incredible this experience was for me. It’s definitely one of the best things I’ve ever done, and I’m already excited to go back and learn even more.

The teachers were incredible. Their knowledge and passion were undeniable, and they delivered information with such clarity. The meals cooked by the kitchen staff were fresh and varied, and they were absolutely delicious. And I didn’t get sick at all during my time there.

The front of house staff were also amazing. They were always available to help with any questions or issues, and they always had a solution. Everyone I met was incredibly kind, caring, respectful, and friendly.

The yoga hall was dirty and the temperature was uncomfortable due to the construction of the rooftop. The rain lasted for two days, causing me to catch a cold. The props were not maintained and had a foul smell. The atmosphere of this school was not pleasant. It felt too focused on commercial aspects and lacked positive energy. I had to quit the course because of these issues. Everyone in my group was frustrated, and what was expected to be a nice experience turned out disappointing. However, the group itself was nice and some of the lessons were good. On the bright side, the location of the school and the view were pretty good.

I regretted staying at the school. I would recommend paying only for the course and finding accommodation and meals elsewhere. It would have enhanced my experience and saved me money. I ended up eating out most of the time because previous students had gotten very sick from the school’s food and water. The food lacked balance and nutrition, consisting mostly of carbs and oil. As for the accommodation, it was quite basic and the bed was even harder than the wooden bed I had during Vipassana retreat. Had I stayed at a hostel, I would have enjoyed a cleaner space, no curfew at 10:30pm, a comfortable bed, and probably fewer nightmares. On a positive note, the teachers at the school were absolutely amazing. I had the privilege of learning from Dr. Lata Ji, Sunil Ji, Kanna Ji, Dr. Himanshu Ji, Naveen Ji, and a special shoutout to Siddha Ji. Every teacher was extremely knowledgeable in their specific area and they had a way of explaining things that truly expanded my mind. I felt privileged every day to be taught by such highly educated and intelligent individuals.

There are no tools to clean. It’s impossible to mop or wash the sink in the room.
The food was alright for the first two weeks, but then they just kept giving us the same things every day and I started eating out every day… I thought I was here to get in shape but ended up gaining weight :/ I really liked the group of people who came to get certified… we all got along so well. It was a blast, always busy and there was always something going on.
I absolutely loved the ashtanga classes with Ashu and the adjustment and alignment sessions with Himanshu; those were my favorite. I also really enjoyed the Philosophy lectures :).

This training was absolutely amazing. We delved into beautiful philosophy, practiced uplifting mantras, enjoyed the chanting sessions, and had a fulfilling yoga tantra practice. The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and had such warm hearts. Guru Vishnu is a remarkable individual with a heart of gold; he radiates peace. It feels like we’re in a real classroom, with the teachers right in front of us. Any questions or confusion we have is addressed immediately, just like in a regular classroom. And I have to mention how knowledgeable and professional the teachers are. They really know their stuff.

The focus of this course is to make it enjoyable while also developing skills like focus, confidence, and mind/body awareness. The teachers want us to become competent instructors who are healthy in mind, body, and spirit. The material they provide is well-researched, well-balanced, and easy to understand. The Internet in India can be quite temperamental, so we had to be patient with it. However, we always managed to fix it, though it was challenging at times.

I want to include that this review covers both accommodation and food, but I want to mention that this was an online course. And let me tell you, the course was absolutely amazing! It was divided into two parts: theory and practical, and I enjoyed both of them!

Now, I have to say, the theory part can be a bit difficult to understand. So I would recommend having some prior knowledge of Hindu gods and goddesses to make it easier.

But let me tell you, the practical classes were simply incredible! Every day, they left me feeling completely cleansed, replenished, and filled with love. The teachers delivered these classes with such confidence and deep knowledge, and they were truly inspiring. It’s amazing how they could make you feel all of that through a screen. It really speaks volumes about the school and the course.

I would definitely recommend it to my friend, and I would encourage anyone else to go into it with an open mind. I learned so much that I can apply to my own practice and teaching.

Lastly, it was truly lovely to connect with people from all around the world during this time.

The facilities at this place are absolutely terrible. The walls are covered in mold, cleanliness is nonexistent, the food options are all carbs, and the kitchen is disgustingly dirty. Our class had four people, three of whom lived on campus, and we all ended up getting really sick. To make matters worse, there is no hot water in the female dorms and we experience water outages at least once a day. The staff is incredibly impolite and all they do is sit around on their phones, even the owner during kirtan. We went there to get a 300-hour certification, but we didn’t even come close. We barely received half the required hours and yet they still gave us a certificate. This school is a complete scam and should not be allowed to provide certifications as they do not meet the standards set by the Yoga Alliance. Thankfully, BookYogaRetreats helped us try to get a refund. We did end up receiving a very small refund from the school and BookYogaRetreats provided a refund for their commission. I would not recommend this place to anyone. On the positive side, the location was very convenient and had easy access to everything. The classes on anatomy, hatha, and alignment were good and taught by knowledgeable teachers.

I can’t express enough how happy and grateful I am that I chose this school! From the very beginning, everyone made sure the school felt like a home away from home, and I really appreciate that. And none of this would be possible without the amazing, professional, and inspirational teachers and founder. You can see how Yoga is a part of their daily lives. The staff, both at reception and in the kitchen, are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist you with a smile. The atmosphere and energy of the place are really nice, it feels light and bright, and there’s a beautiful garden area and a big balcony with a view of the mountains. The halls where the classes are held are clean and fully equipped. Thank you to each and every one of you for making this transformational experience in my life so unique. Because of you, I now feel like I have a home in Rishikesh, and if I ever consider taking another Yoga training, this would definitely be the place. Unfortunately, the yoga classes were taught in Lithuanian due to a last-minute change of instructors, even though they were advertised in English. However, thanks to a very capable translator and the yoga teacher’s dedication, it was well managed! Overall, it was a wonderful stay in Lithuania. The accommodation was OK. On the other hand, the food was fantastic – fresh and vegan every day. The sessions we had with Vishnu Pranighari were incredibly valuable. Additionally, the yoga lessons taught by a Lithuanian yoga teacher greatly enriched my yoga practice.

The anatomy courses need to delve deeper and be more professional when it comes to understanding muscles! You excel in teaching yoga and the different postures. All the yoga teachers are skilled and the entire team is committed to providing the best education. We appreciate your humility, as well as your joy in sharing and teaching. Thank you! Namasté ??

Nothing really disappointed me. I knew the ashram wasn’t a fancy 5 star hotel, but it had everything I needed. I went in December, so it was a bit colder than expected, but with enough blankets, it was fine. The hot water for showers didn’t last long, but that’s alright because the cold water actually helped me wake up in the mornings! The 200 hour Kundalini yoga teacher training surpassed all my expectations. The staff and teachers were incredible – so knowledgeable and friendly. They felt like family. Even though the course was intense, with 5am wake-ups and 10pm bedtimes, I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the spiritual side of yoga. We had plenty of opportunities to practice meditation, asanas, and more as a group. And there was still enough free time to explore the town and have some fun!

Even though we had several discussions about my expectations as a beginner looking for a group experience, I ended up being alone. There was no program as advertised, just drop-in classes. However, I must say, the staff is really kind and attentive.

We only spent 10 minutes on teaching methodology. Honestly, I thought we should spend more time on how to build a sequence and the correct postures during practice. We also needed to learn what to do at the start and end of each practice. I think it would be better to start focusing on this from the second week and have the students practice for 30 minutes every day, with constructive feedback. After all, I chose this course to become a teacher, not just to practice yoga every day.

When it comes to feedback, as a student, I would appreciate constructive criticism from the teachers instead of just hearing “very good”. I want to know my progress and what I need to improve on. Throughout the course, we asked for constructive feedback several times, but we always got the same response of “very good”. That’s not helpful.

Now, let’s talk about the food. As a yogi, I expected the food to be plain or at least not spicy. But the meals were always the same for lunch and dinner, with the only difference being chapati served during dinner. The food was heavy and loaded with black pepper. I asked for bland food, but ended up eating boiled carrots and potatoes for a whole month. As a yogi, I expected food that would nourish my body, mind, and soul.

In my opinion, the manual should include adjustments for each pose. The anatomy section should provide general information about each system, but it didn’t explain the muscles well enough. It should also include postures that someone with certain conditions or muscle imbalances can do (like herniated discs, for example).

Overall, this experience allowed me to look deeper within myself and change my perspective on life and the world. I learned various breathing techniques that can improve my daily life. I gained new skills and knowledge that I can now share with others. Additionally, I learned how to live and interact with people from different countries, sharing the same dining room and personal space. It was a wonderful experience because I was allowed to be myself without anyone pressuring me to change or be someone I’m not. I truly appreciate all the time and knowledge that each teacher shared with us.

The course ended, and I’ve got to say, it was pretty great! Now, the accommodation may not have been the best, so just be prepared for that. But you know what? The view from the room totally made up for it! And don’t even get me started on the food – it was absolutely amazing! Like, seriously, it was cooked with so much love. Sure, it got a bit repetitive at times, but overall, it was still really good.

Oh, and let me tell you about the teachers. They were absolutely incredible! Every single one of them was so inspiring and knowledgeable. Plus, they genuinely seemed interested in our learning. I mean, who wouldn’t be inspired with teachers like that?

The subjects we learned were super interesting, and the way they were taught was top-notch. I really felt like I was absorbing everything.

Now, let’s talk about the environment. It was perfect for diving deep into yourself and for connecting with others on a spiritual journey. It was such a great space for personal growth and sharing experiences with like-minded people.

And can we take a moment to appreciate Rishikesh? What a beautiful city! The people there are just as amazing. Seriously, make sure you plan some extra days to explore and experience everything the city has to offer.

All in all, I highly recommend this course. It was an incredible experience that I won’t soon forget!

We arrived during monsoon time, and it felt like it was raining non-stop. Some of the rooms in our accommodation got a bit moldy due to the lack of proper ventilation. However, it only affected a few rooms. Luckily, the other rooms were in perfect condition. But honestly, it didn’t really impact our overall experience. We embraced the situation and learned to live with it. It actually added a new perspective to every question we asked ourselves. It turned out to be a wonderful inner journey.

The accommodation was unbelievably dirty and noisy. I couldn’t sleep well because of the constant noise from motorbikes and animals walking around. And let me tell you, our teacher looked really young. He was a super nice guy, but as a yoga teacher, he wasn’t very professional. But I must say, I met some absolutely lovely people during my stay there. They came from all corners of the country. Doing yoga classes, going on excursions, and sharing meals together was a truly amazing experience. Without them, this retreat would have been a total disaster.

The course timetable and its contents, as well as the location and accommodation, were falsely advertised. We expected more teaching hours, but it turned out to be much less. They completely neglected to cover any teaching methodology, which was a major disappointment and caused a lot of tension. Overall, the vibe was far from what you would expect from a yogic experience. I wouldn’t recommend this at all. I would describe it more as a Yin intensive rather than a proper teacher training. However, the location, accommodation, and food were good. On a positive note, some of the staff members were quite knowledgeable. They did listen to our complaints and made some efforts to address them.

I absolutely loved everything about my experience at World Peace Yoga School in Rishikesh. Even though the living conditions were a bit humbling compared to what I’m used to, it was all part of the experience and I felt safe the entire time. Some students complained about the food, but you can’t please everyone. Personally, I have no complaints. Plus, there’s always the option to go to a local cafe or restaurant for a full meal that costs less than $4 USD.

I can’t fully describe how wonderful and fulfilling it was to take the 200-hour yoga certification course at World Peace Yoga School. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. Guru Vishnu, the owner, greeted us at the entrance and a friendly volunteer helped us with our luggage and showed us to our rooms. Everyone there is incredibly kind and becomes like a friend. I really deepened my belief and knowledge in yoga.

I had many doubts about taking the course in Rishikesh instead of doing it weekly in NYC, but I was blown away and so grateful that I completed my certification here. The teachers are truly the best and have so much knowledge. Classes start at 6am and finish at 7pm, six days a week. It’s physically and mentally challenging, but the rewards are worth it.

I could go on and on about all the amazing people and experiences at World Peace Yoga School, but there’s not enough space here, haha. I’m excited to eventually complete my 300-hour course here within the next year or two, once I apply everything I’ve learned at home.

I find the food here at school to be very redundant. Sometimes it’s too spicy for me. However, the breakfasts are really good! The teaching quality and the game are really great, being so close to the Ganges and the inviting cafes. I love how close the locals of Rishikesh are and the energy of this beautiful place.

The food had too many carbs for me. I would have preferred to have vegetables in the morning. But hey, if you need a special meal, you can just ask and they’ll take care of it. I only found out about this option a little later. By the way, this city is absolutely amazing!
The school is stunning and has such a vibrant atmosphere that it instantly makes you feel at ease and right at home. They provide everything you could possibly need there. So just bring your mat and get ready to have an incredible and unforgettable experience!

I went on this retreat to unwind after a tough mission in a war zone and celebrate my birthday. The staff and instructors at the Samadhi Ashram went out of their way to make it an unforgettable experience. They took me to bathe in the Ganges at sunrise, meditate on the balcony at sunset, and treated me to fantastic food. The location was absolutely beautiful, like something out of a fairy tale. I’m grateful for such a wonderful experience. Namaste.

The Retreat took place at a place that was under construction, but it’s going to be amazing once it’s finished! They’re creating a beautiful dining area, lovely rooms, and even a yoga space on the rooftop. They were also in the process of adding facilities for massages and more.

During the 6-day Yoga Retreat, everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. They genuinely cared about us and wanted the best for us. They made sure we had the opportunity to experience everything we wanted and even took us on unexpected adventures.

The program during the day was holistic, with different types of yoga classes like Hatha, Pranayam, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Meditation. We also had a daily excursion, which was a lot of fun.

Being there, I felt like I had a little family surrounding me.

We knew the bedding wouldn’t be 5-star since we decided to stay in an ashram. But that was an easy fix, we simply asked for more blankets.

Oh, there wasn’t enough time in Rishikesh! Our schedule was so packed that it was tough to see all the sights. And the classes were too amazing to skip. I’d suggest adding a couple more days to fit everything in! The people, the town, and the endless activities were absolutely lovely! We were also pleasantly surprised to arrive during the international yoga festival and Holi festival. It was truly a magical experience!

During the retreat, we encountered a small hiccup with the organization of accommodation and location switching for the different sessions. However, our yoga, Pranayama, and meditation teacher, Rajiv, did an excellent job. He gave us a brief overview of each technique, including the background and reasons behind them, and then we had extensive practice sessions in both the mornings and afternoons.

We also had the opportunity to go on excursions during the day, which gave us a sneak peek into the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayans, Ganges, and the spiritual sites in the area.

I want to give a special thank you to Vishnu Ji, the founder guru of the World Peace Yoga School. His high spiritual energy and warm heart are reflected in every aspect of the place and everything he does! Om!

I thought I would have different teachers, but we got assigned the same ones. We had originally planned to stay at the tapovan resort, but we got taken somewhere else instead. The place we stayed at was okay, but considering how much we paid, it wasn’t great. Communication was a huge challenge since the staff didn’t speak English. It felt like they were making fun of us and talking about us behind our backs, which was really uncomfortable. We often had to wake up the staff at 7:30 am, and it was strange to see them sleeping on the floor of the dining room. The staff member who took us to the Beatles Ashram was nice but had no idea where she was going and didn’t even know who the Beatles were, haha! We ended up doing our own thing most days. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend going back there. It was just chaotic and frustrating. On the bright side, the yoga teacher was pretty good and really nice.

The food wasn’t fresh and didn’t have any detox options. They didn’t serve any juices or tea.
Nobody came to clean our room at any time.
One of the yoga rooms had a monkey pee, yet they still held the class there without enough materials.
    The trips were disorganized.
We had to ask multiple times for our massages, and when we finally got them, they only lasted 30 minutes and the rooms were dirty.
The classes for the retreat package had overlap and were too basic.
The kitchen staff were very friendly.
