February 20, 2024 at 12:00 amThe rooms at the resort were great, but the neighbors could get noisy since the sound travels in this beautiful location. The resort had a very social vibe, the food was outstanding, and there was a good variety of classes for everyone. We especially enjoyed the steam room and cold plunge. We also rented a scooter from the resort to explore the island. Checking in and out was seamless, as was the pickup and drop off at the ferry terminal. The resort had guests from different nationalities, singles, couples, and groups. Everything was kept clean, and they made sure to send lots of water to the rooms.

January 29, 2024 at 12:00 amJ’ai passé une semaine incroyable!

December 20, 2023 at 12:00 amThe classes were packed and uncomfortable because of the crowded conditions. I chose to skip some classes and relax on my own for a more positive experience. Some of the teachers were disappointing, especially Nadja who had a bad attitude, didn’t greet people, and kept talking about a better retreat. It was weird because we were all there for the same reason. She also spent a lot of time smoking cigarettes outside. Despite that, I loved the location and food. The facility was nice, but the smell around the houses was awful and made it hard to relax.

November 24, 2023 at 12:00 amI was looking for the location. I looked for a beach. The location was remote and the island’s shores were unseen. I loved doing yoga here. The teachers were great, I was sweating and the food was good.

November 20, 2023 at 12:00 amThe location feels like you’re at the edge of the world, which is amazing. But it can be challenging because the nearest village is a bit far, and you’ll need to take a taxi (unless you can drive a scooter). Taxis are quite pricey, as is the case on all Thai islands.
When you book, I recommend opting for a private accommodation. The dorms are usually full with 5-6 people sharing a small space, and the center is always packed. If you want some privacy, a private room is a better choice. This could be one of the best retreats ever! Wonderland is situated in the middle of a lush forest and offers access to high-quality facilities that are always clean and very comfortable, including an amazing pool, sauna, and spa. The food is a highlight – the most delicious vegan dishes you can imagine.
The instructors are very professional, offering different levels and styles of yoga and meditation. The place truly lives up to its name – it is indeed a Wonderland and a healing space for anyone seeking peace, connection, and equanimity.

November 4, 2023 at 12:00 amWe loved Wonderland! We fell head over heels for the place and the classes were amazing. Each day, there were so many options to choose from and we got to try out new yoga styles. The classes welcomed all levels and they also offer other cool classes like Women’s Circle and Tibetan Singing Bowl Healing.
The vegan buffet at Wonderland is out of this world and it changes every day. We were never let down by the delicious food. The staff is super friendly and kind too.
Wonderland is truly a magical place. We had such a lovely time that we ended up staying longer than we had originally planned.

October 23, 2023 at 12:00 amIf you stay longer than a week, the workshops may repeat slightly. Adding some tiny changes to the schedule or introducing something slightly different would be awesome. But you can also do some of the things you really enjoyed again, or just relax more and skip others. I had originally booked 7 days at Wonderland, but ended up extending my stay for 4 more days. It’s such a magical place where you can participate in up to 6 workshops a day, enjoy the pool and sauna, and meet some incredible people. The instructors are all amazing, and some of them are truly inspiring. I opted for a private room, which was fantastic. They clean it daily and make sure you have plenty of water. The food is absolutely amazing and so tasty – I even had one of the best falafel dishes here! I wish I could have stayed even longer, but I will definitely be coming back.

September 8, 2023 at 12:00 amThe resort filled up quickly during my stay. The yoga classes became so crowded that it was hard to move without being careful not to bump into someone. We even ran out of mats and pillows a few times. It’s no wonder people keep coming back – I had a great time there! Despite being a yoga beginner, I never felt lost thanks to the teachers offering pose variations for everyone. My week was amazing, and I learned a lot about yoga and myself.
I really enjoyed the variety of classes offered throughout the day, from yoga to meditation to lectures. Staying in a clean dorm was great, and I loved the delicious food served every day.
The communal areas were perfect for meeting people or relaxing alone. And those water refill stations were a great eco-friendly touch – no need for plastic bottles!

August 16, 2023 at 12:00 amIt’s so busy and crowded here, more like a resort with classes than a retreat. The atmosphere isn’t very friendly and welcoming. You won’t get much feedback or guidance to improve your yoga practice from the teachers. But the classes are still enjoyable. The teachers and western staff could definitely be more warm and friendly! On the bright side, there’s great food, plenty of classes each day, and the whole place looks absolutely stunning.

July 30, 2023 at 12:00 amI had an issue with the general quality of the yoga classes at Wonderland. Out of the 14 classes I took, only 3 were taught by top notch instructors. Most instructors would bring people into a pose but not tell them how to be in a pose. There were few anatomical cueing and almost no breath work, making it hard to stay present. I wish the instructors had paid more attention to the students, as they would often demo the pose and hold it themselves the entire time. As a certified yoga instructor, I felt the classes lacked engagement and energy. I only received an assist once the whole week, and the teacher touched students without asking for permission.
Some reviews call the classes beginner style, but beginner classes actually require more cues than intermediate ones to ensure the pose is being accurately maintained. I wish Wonderland had a higher bar for the quality of classes offered and had instructors like Amber or Raj teach more often. Ewa’s Reiki session was worth every penny and the food was great. Raj’s Kundalini and Amber’s Flow classes were impeccable, as well as David’s Hatha stretch and Nadja’s meditation. All specials were a must-do, and I left having a great spiritual experience. The staff was awesome and the sauna was great.
Overall, I really enjoyed the retreat and would do it again. The meditations and specials alone would be worth it. I do miss the pool though!

June 18, 2023 at 12:00 amOne instructor really nailed the healing class and I think she would make a great mindfulness coach instead of a yoga/pilates instructor. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by another class where there was no harmony and the pilates flow sequence was completely off, starting with pilates 100s before anything else and not mentioning breath at all.
On top of that, myself and another girl in my dorm got food poisoning from dinner, which was a real letdown. However, it seemed to only affect the two of us. Despite these setbacks, the venue itself was lovely and perfect for relaxation. The staff were helpful and you get to meet plenty of people.
Interestingly, none of the three instructors I wanted to review are actually on the list. Two of them did a fantastic job with a well-structured class that offered a good challenge, but overall it felt more like Yoga for beginners.

June 6, 2023 at 12:00 amI noticed that most attendees were very young at the yoga retreat, and I didn’t feel particularly welcomed, which is unusual for this type of experience. The staff and instructors were fantastic, but I can’t help but wonder how it would be for a total beginner since most classes were at an intermediate level or higher. If you’re new to yoga, this might not be the right place for you. There are plenty of classes and activities to choose from each day. The setting is beautiful, and the facilities are well-maintained. There is a wide variety of classes offered. The room was very nice. Overall, it’s a really special place.

May 24, 2023 at 12:00 amIn the dorm, I noticed some things missing: plug and reading light for each bed. The metal bunk beds were making a lot of noise, so if you moved, you risked waking up the person underneath you. Everything else was perfect though. The classes were really good. You get a schedule with 1 morning meditation and 2 morning yoga classes. In the afternoon, there is 1 more meditation class and 1 more yoga class. You can choose how to manage your days. There is always a break between 11:30 and 15:00 with no classes, where you can enjoy the pool, hammam, or go for a scooter or bike ride. Food is served from 9-13:00 and 18:00-20:00. There is nothing in between, but you can order a smoothie or go to a nearby restaurant. The vegan food was good, the hammam was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an amazing stay and can only recommend it.

April 13, 2023 at 12:00 amThe meditation classes take some getting used to when you’re used to meditating for a max of 25 minutes in your daily routine. Since they go quite long in the retreat, it’s always a challenge not to fall asleep. Unfortunately, I was sick for the first two days, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to heal. They were considerate of my condition and I was able to move to a private room at short notice. I think I’ve never recovered so quickly before. The food was simply delicious and always fresh! The yoga classes were very enjoyable, I could really let go. Unfortunately, due to my illness, I was only able to attend 2 sessions. There is definitely a huge variety of yoga classes and I’m sure there is something for everyone there:)
The place in general is simply magical. There are so many great people coming together and you feel right at home in the first few seconds!

April 4, 2023 at 12:00 amI didn’t like that the resort is not by the beach and you have to pay 150-200 per person for a taxi to the beach (although they offer free beach trips once a week or so). But that’s the only thing I didn’t like! I absolutely loved it there!!
The atmosphere at the resort was healing, relaxed, and loving, making it super easy to de-stress. All the people there, from the reception staff to the restaurant workers, cleaners, masseuses, teachers, and other guests, were extremely friendly. I made so many wonderful connections during my stay and stayed in touch with them afterwards too. I stayed in a dorm for 4 people and everyone was super respectful. The rooms and other areas were impeccably clean, and the food was absolutely delicious!

November 23, 2022 at 12:00 amMost yoga classes really focus on pure asana or fitness, even if they’re supposed to be Level 1. I just prefer other types of yoga. Unfortunately, while I was in Wonderland, there was no Sound healing, Wim Hof, or Mantra Chanting workshops, which I would have loved to attend. Make sure to check the schedule before coming 🙂 Wonderland is such a beautiful place to be!
I had a great time and now feel purified, relaxed, and connected to my inner peace. I really enjoyed the daily Vipassana Meditations with Yaron in the morning – the best way to start your day. I also loved Raj’s Kundalini Hatha classes – he has such deep knowledge and wisdom. And the Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy workshop with Liz was amazing. The women’s circle with Amor was lovely, and Stephanie’s classes were also very good.

October 16, 2022 at 12:00 amI arrived in October for an eight day retreat and found the area to be beautiful, green, and inviting. September 27, 2022 at 12:00 amI spent 7 nights in the dorm room at Wonderland. It’s not the best dorm I’ve stayed in, but hey, you’re just there to sleep anyway. During the day, there are tons of classes like different types of yoga, meditation styles, lectures, and fun activities like a hike to a waterfall or sunset tour. The best part is, you get to choose what you want to do. If you’re in the mood to relax, you can hang out by the pool, use the sauna, or treat yourself to a massage.
The food is incredible! I’m usually a vegetarian, and they have a vegan buffet that was like heaven for me 😉 Everything was absolutely delicious.
I’ve heard people saying they’ll probably come back every year now. And I totally agree with them.

September 14, 2022 at 12:00 amNothing Wonderland in the jungle of Ko Pha Ngan is an amazing little oasis. The rooms are cleaned and serviced daily. They provide Shampoo and Bath Gel. The vegan buffet is delicious and there are a variety of international dishes to try. The laundry service is affordable and trustworthy. They offer different types of meditations and yoga classes throughout the day, as well as talks, movies, fire nights, and more. You can enjoy a sauna, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, and lounging areas. They also offer complimentary trips to hike in the jungle and visit the beach during the week. You can experience multiple holistic treatment modalities, including Thai Massage. This place is truly a wonderland, I highly recommend visiting.

August 20, 2022 at 12:00 amThe evening programs at Wonderland were a mix of topics, but they seemed a bit disorganized. They posted schedules that were easy to follow, but some topics were vague. Visiting instructors either introduced themselves and shared their experiences or jumped right into their presentation. I was interested in joining, but without more information, I hesitated to enter and potentially deal with an awkward exit or sit through a session I wasn’t into.
Wonderland was a great place to relax, heal, and interact with like-minded people. Some days had structured classes, while others were more laid-back—perfect for chatting, lounging by the pool, getting a massage, or just chilling out around the resort. I met a few people who had returned to Wonderland after a positive first visit. I enjoyed my entire stay without feeling the need to leave the resort; the food was top-notch with a great variety and freshness. It was a fantastic experience to explore different cuisines during my time there, and I’ve carried that lesson back home with me.

July 1, 2022 at 12:00 amI loved everything about my experience at Wonderland! The food was insanely good, the place had so many relaxing areas, the pool was awesome, and the rooms and bathrooms were top-notch. I had planned to stay for 3 nights but ended up staying for 6 because it was just that great!
Helpful ReviewMeeting people was easy because everyone, including the staff, was so friendly. The yoga and meditation teachers were fantastic, and the schedule was just right – you didn’t have to attend every class. They also organized fun outings like waterfall hikes and beach sunsets. The evening talks were a highlight for me.
If you’re considering a yoga retreat, Wonderland is the place to be. Trust me, you won’t want to leave!

June 8, 2022 at 12:00 amThis secluded little paradise on Koh Phangan is absolutely beautiful. I loved the vibe at the retreat and meeting like-minded young women who enjoy yoga and meaningful conversations over coffee. The vegan buffets were amazing and I haven’t felt this good in years. Staying in the dorm made the experience incredibly cheap for me. If you’re looking for more luxury, go for a private room. I can’t wait to come back here! 🙂

May 23, 2022 at 12:00 amI suggest having more side activities to add to the experience. Some classes definitely need improvement in quality. May 6, 2022 at 12:00 amI would suggest the team provide more details about activities like hikes and the sunset tour so people know what to expect. I did both and they were amazing, but not exactly what you’d think based on the names. It’s a truly magical place. In the 4 days I spent there, I relaxed and restored more than I would at a typical beach resort. There’s a full schedule of activities so everyone can choose what they like. Even when it rained heavily for several days, I didn’t mind being stuck there because there were so many things to do. The food was great, even for a non-vegan like me. And the serenity and peace at the location were just perfect.

April 20, 2022 at 12:00 amUnfortunately, the experience was let down by the welcome. We didn’t receive any information about how things ‘work’ and were not given the welcome drink or yoga consultation that were promised when we made the booking. A quick chat about how the classes operate, what you want to get out of it, and any injuries would have made a big difference. It was also unclear about what was included, like the daily smoothie which we had to ask about each day.
Aly and Lauren were great instructors, greeting us warmly and Lauren was very helpful in adapting postures and giving feedback. However, some other teachers were unfriendly and the atmosphere felt cold and full of ego.
There wasn’t enough room in some classes, which was disappointing. The site should never be overbooked so that everyone can attend the sessions they want. It was also disappointing that a hike was cancelled due to weather and we were not informed.
On the positive side, the site itself was really nice and well maintained. The food was also great.

April 8, 2022 at 12:00 amWonderland is a great place for anyone who wants to be in a safe environment and meet like-minded people. However, it felt like a bubble of Westerners and I missed having Thai food options. I was expecting Wonderland to be on a cute mountain, but the grounds are actually flat and located about 20 minutes ride from the coast. It’s a good idea to have a scooter to explore the area. Wonderland has a fantastic daily schedule of classes and specials that will keep you busy and introduce you to different meditation and yoga practices. The yoga teachers were top-notch and the food was delicious. The treatment options are varied, but a bit pricey at the center.

April 5, 2022 at 12:00 amThe only low point of my experience at Wonderland was getting COVID. My Day 1 roommate, who had been coughing and had a fever, tested positive for COVID. She had been told to keep going to classes and act normal, even though she was sick. I spent all night in the dorm room with her, so it wasn’t surprising when I tested positive for COVID 5 days later.
Wonderland has the approach that everyone is constantly exposed to asymptomatic people, which is true. However, I hadn’t caught COVID in 2 years until I stayed with my sick roommate without a mask. I isolated myself for 5 days to limit exposure to others, as it is the right thing to do in my culture.
I wish I had been informed about my roommate’s condition so I could have moved to a private room and avoided exposure. If you’re afraid of getting COVID, booking an individual room at Wonderland is probably a good idea.
Despite the setback, my stay at Wonderland was amazing. I went for yoga, meditation, and other sessions to help me rest and refocus after personal challenges. I tried new things every day and learned a lot in just 3 weeks. I met new friends and enjoyed the variety of classes, which helped me gain new insights.
I can’t wait to come back to Wonderland, hopefully with my daughter next time. There were other kids there and a great pool for her to play in. The instructors, facilitators, and staff were all friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. Wonderland truly exceeded my expectations and I look forward to returning.

January 8, 2022 at 12:00 amMy boyfriend and I visited Wonderland for the first time in Koh Phangan, and we can’t stop talking about our amazing experience to everyone we meet. Each yoga class lasts for an hour and a half and is suitable for all levels. I was thrilled to see how much I improved in just one week of practicing yoga, despite having done it for many years. There are a variety of yoga teachers and styles available, so if one doesn’t work for you, there are plenty of other options to choose from. With over 3 yoga classes and more than 3 meditation classes offered each day, this place went above and beyond our expectations.
Initially, my boyfriend only joined me because of my love for yoga, but by the end of the week, he surprised us all by mastering handstands! The vegan buffet served for brunch and dinner was not only delicious and filling but also a healthy break from the usual Thai cuisine. Thanks to the dorms and communal dining areas, we ended up making friends whom we spent the rest of our time in Koh Phangan with. I can’t praise this place enough for the amazing experience we had.

August 5, 2020 at 12:00 amI thought they should offer more yoga classes because some days they only had one. The white rabbit room is too small for the number of people using it. If you don’t have a bike, it might be tough to explore the island. You’d have to be okay with just hanging out at the retreat (which isn’t a bad thing!). The cleaning staff wasn’t very friendly, and they didn’t clean regularly – there were ants in the rooms! But overall, I had a great experience. The food was clean, healthy, and varied. I couldn’t wait for every meal and felt so much better after leaving. I loved the different yoga classes, especially the flow, hatha, and yin classes. The meditation and yoga here are top-notch, and the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. It’s a great spot for people who want more than just lounging on sunbeds all day, although that’s an option too. The retreat at Wonderland is a good choice for beginners, as it’s not overly holistic. The classes start at a reasonable 8 am, not super early like some other retreats. The staff is really friendly, and it’s easy to explore different parts of Koh Phangan from here. March 3, 2020 at 12:00 amThe 6-bed dorms are ok but not luxurious. The beds wobble and squeak; there is only the main room light, so you easily disturb each other; there are no closets, so clothes always lie in the backpack on the floor; bed curtains would be nice for some privacy, a shelf by the bed to put things on would also be useful. All of this didn’t bother me much in the first week because everything else was fine, but unfortunately, it got very crowded in Wonderland in my second week… we squeezed over 40 people into the shala, which definitely wasn’t fun anymore. If you were late, you couldn’t participate. The cozy relaxed atmosphere was lost during meals as well. Waiting in line, waiting, or not getting any food left. Drinks were empty late at night, no towels were available, etc… Very disappointing, the first week was truly amazing… the quiet jungle location, beautifully landscaped, varied weekly program> good for trying out, familial, casual togetherness, very mixed audience, the steam sauna, everything very well maintained and clean, the buffet is really great.

January 15, 2020 at 12:00 amI wasn’t really into dancing, so the evening options didn’t interest me. I would’ve preferred an evening Yin Yoga class or more meditation at 8pm instead of something upbeat, but other people seemed to enjoy it. This retreat was amazing – I was skeptical at first, but I am so glad I took a chance. The timing and location worked out perfectly after a work trip. From the moment I arrived and received a welcome drink while checking in, I felt at home and comfortable. It was great to meet people from all over the world at meals, but I also enjoyed lounging in a hammock with a book or doing journal writing by the pool. Not every yoga style or instructor was my favorite, but trying new things like Aerial Yoga (my favorite) and Laughter Yoga was wonderful. The location was perfect – secluded yet close to beautiful hiking trails and mountain views. The dorm rooms were comfortable and the beds were surprisingly soft. I highly recommend getting a Thai massage – I wish I had done it every day. I loved every moment and it was perfect that it started raining as soon as I left.

December 12, 2019 at 12:00 amThere are not many yoga classes and the level isn’t very high if you’re not a beginner. They should plan more activities outside the center like hiking. The food is great and the people are so welcoming, they feel like friends you’ve known forever, even if it’s your first time meeting them.

December 10, 2019 at 12:00 amI can’t get over how amazing the food was at Wonderland. Now, nothing else compares because my standards are through the roof. Oh, and don’t forget to bring your own hand soap for the bathroom. I couldn’t stop eating everything from the buffet, especially those delicious pancakes. I’m still dreaming about them.
Wonderland was such a great place to stay at. I loved meeting all the friendly people there. You have so much freedom – you don’t have to go to all the classes or socialize if you don’t feel like it. You can just relax with a book by the pool or in a hammock. But if you do want to meet interesting people from all walks of life who are going through transitions, like quitting their jobs or starting a new nomad lifestyle, this is the place to be.

December 6, 2019 at 12:00 amIt’s a little inconvenient to go from Ko Samui airport to take a transfer and ferry to your island. But the center has a great atmosphere and really helps you relax.
They should update the instructors list because I love Selina, who taught us Yin Yoga and Charkra Yoga. And the instructor who did Kundalini yoga on Wednesday, December 4th was great too.
All the yoga instructors are really professional and we’ve learned a lot from them. We feel the benefits after each session. The only downside is that some sessions can get pretty crowded.

December 3, 2019 at 12:00 amAround half past 9, they closed down the communal area so the evenings got pretty quiet. If you can’t sleep early, there’s not much to do. I loved my stay at Wonderland, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was really easy to chat with people because everyone was in the same mindset and friendly. There were lots of different yoga classes and activities to choose from, and no pressure to attend everything. The food was amazing too, I would definitely come back.

December 2, 2019 at 12:00 amUnfortunately, the monsoon rain and some bad luck caused my room to flood, but the staff really stepped up and made sure I was comfortable during my stay. The rain didn’t ruin anything, and I definitely want to come back to Wonderland. The meditation classes, particularly the rebirthing and sound healing, were absolutely amazing. Plus, the food was delicious every single day.

December 1, 2019 at 12:00 amI have just two constructive criticisms. First, I think the yoga equipment should be washed and cleaned daily because the smell was quite bad. Second, the mattresses are too hard to sleep on comfortably. Adding a mattress topper would be helpful. Thankfully, the staff was accommodating and brought me extra blankets to make it more comfortable. But I absolutely love this place! The food and yoga were amazing, and the accommodations and amenities were top-notch. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back. It’s perfect for families and solo travelers alike.

November 23, 2019 at 12:00 amWonderland truly is a wonderland with something for every holiday style. If you want to relax, there are plenty of options like a beautiful pool, sauna, massages, delicious vegan food, coconuts, tranquil surroundings, yin yoga, and meditation. I highly recommend planning at least a week there to fully experience everything it has to offer, or you can always extend your stay to soak it all in. It’s hard to leave Wonderland once you’re there.
For those looking to be more active, bicycles and scooters are available to explore the island and visit beautiful beaches. You can cycle around and enjoy nature or snorkel by KohMa. I also attended some Ashtanga classes outside of Wonderland, but there are different yoga styles taught by great teachers every day, especially for beginners.
If you’re interested in deeper experiences, I recommend trying the ice bath pranayama classes where you focus on breathing techniques and breath retention. The Inner Walk was the ultimate experience for me, opening my eyes to things I never knew and teaching me essential techniques for everyday living. I finally gained a true understanding of mindfulness and what it means, thanks to Wonderland. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

November 20, 2019 at 12:00 amOccasionally there are last minute schedule changes or sometimes a class may be cancelled due to the contracting Wonderland does with instructors all over the island. But hey, that can happen anywhere, right? The construction caused by the recent rain storms was a bit disruptive, but hey, we just have to roll with it. It’s all good practice.
Wonderland is a place where you can come and go as you please. All your yoga, meditation, and other sessions are drop-in, so you can mix it up with different instructors, styles, and people. I shared a private room with one other person and it was perfect – comfy beds, AC, and a lovely hammock on the porch.
The food, oh man, the food was amazing! I was specifically looking for vegan options and they exceeded all my expectations. The little extras like daily smoothies and coconuts, Reiki and massage treatments, and the ability to add on more treatments for a reasonable fee really added to the experience.
Despite arriving after some crazy storms, the facilities are all lovely. The pool and one set of bathrooms were temporarily out of commission, but they were quickly fixed up. Trust me, if you’re planning a 4-day retreat, just book the 8 days. And if you’re booking 8 days, go even longer. It’s totally worth it.

November 8, 2019 at 12:00 amThe wet weather caused some flooding in the practice spaces, with the pool even needing to be drained. It’s just one of those things during the wet season that no one can control.

November 2, 2019 at 12:00 amI was lucky that there were only three of us in the room because of the lack of organization.
We did more meditation than yoga. It was fabulous – a beautiful place to relax with no noise and lovely vegetation, a real cozy spot! The facilities were great, and you really feel free to do whatever you want, which isn’t always easy in yoga retreats. I especially enjoyed exploring different styles of meditation, which helped me unwind.

October 8, 2019 at 12:00 amYin and restorative yoga are fantastic here. If you’re looking for power or vinyasa classes, this may not be the place for you. Only one out of our 5 days here had a level 2 or challenging class, the rest were all pretty mellow. I took 10 yoga classes and only two included hip openers, which I really needed. None of the teachers used a vinyasa sequence where you move with each breath. They were all knowledgeable, but they tended to pace the class slowly and rambled a bit. On the bright side, the facilities, staff, food, and schedule were all excellent. It’s a real treat to be on such a beautiful property. The teachers were knowledgeable and took their classes seriously.

July 6, 2019 at 12:00 amThere’s not much bad about this place! There are lots of insects (it’s a jungle), and I saw two huge spiders in one girl’s bathroom. It’s right in the middle of the island with no vista or view. The common area stops playing music at 10pm, and you can’t play cards. And where are the pool toys? 🙁 Some of the yoga classes move at a slow, plodding pace. The dorm lockers aren’t big enough for backpacks. But those banana pancakes, man! They’re like crack. I’ll definitely come back just for those! The dorms are modern and immaculate, with two bathrooms. There are hammocks and lounge beds everywhere. The sauna and ice pool are amazing. The pool is always at the perfect temperature and cleaned daily. There are plug sockets near each bed. The common areas are comfy and welcoming. The staff is kind and helpful. The instructors are super friendly. The food is amazing, fresh, and varied. The classes are solid and varied (improv contact was hilarious). Detoxing here was eye-opening. April 16, 2019 at 12:00 amI wish the sea was closer. It only takes 15 minutes by cab and costs 150/200 baht. It would be nice if there was a free shuttle to the beach on a fixed schedule. I also think it would be interesting to have more diversity in meditation practices. The daily program can get repetitive if you stay longer, but it’s not a big deal if you’re not too experienced. The energy here is great and the place is wonderful surrounded by greenery. You can tell that a lot of thought has been put into the details. I stayed in the dorm for 11 nights and it was very clean, with bed sheets and towels changed every day. The staff are sweet and helpful, and the food is amazing. All of the yoga teachers were nice and it was great to experience different styles.

So, I booked and it turned out to be my best choice. Wonderland offers more than just Yoga – there are meditations, lectures, workshops, dance, and so much more. Beyond the clean place and great food, Wonderland has a special vibe that’s hard to explain but easy to feel. It’s everywhere there, so just go check it out. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wonderland caters to all types of yogis, even those who just want to chill by the pool. March 27, 2019 at 12:00 amI’d like to share my only complaint about the retreat – the sleeping situation. In all the other hostels I stayed at in Thailand, the dorm beds had curtains for some privacy and were much more comfortable. It seemed ironic to focus so much on body alignment and care during yoga and meditation, only for us to sleep on the most uncomfortable beds ever. If they change that in the dorms, it’d be a practically perfect experience! Despite that, I got much more than I expected from this retreat. Met amazing people, had fantastic food, and did great yoga. The retreat was beginner-friendly, but also had advanced participants who enjoyed it too. There’s a pool, steam room, and you can join all classes or do your own thing. The energy there is fantastic, and I had a blast.

March 16, 2019 at 12:00 amWhen I arrived, I had to pay the balance of my bill. What I didn’t know was that they add 4% if you pay with a card. So, just be aware of that. The Yoga classes were quite crowded and the instructor talked a lot. The smell in my bathroom wasn’t pleasant, but I was prepared for it thanks to Trip Advisor. The accommodation was great – I stayed in a spacious room with a lovely view over the pool. There was a kettle and fridge in the room with free water. They also provide free pick up and drop off to the ferry, which was very convenient.
Helpful ReviewThe food was amazing and there was always tea, coffee, and water available in the food area. Plus, there were plenty of free water stations around. The choice of yoga classes and meditation was fantastic. I especially loved the meditation with Ali and Jo. The massages with Apple were also amazing. The staff works hard to keep the place clean and tidy. Thank you, Ali & Jo, and thank you, Apple.

February 13, 2019 at 12:00 amI would have liked a bit more depth in the approach (such as a more structured welcome in terms of objectives, reflection, etc.). We are left to our own devices a lot (which may be what some people want) although we can open up and discuss in some activities. It’s a very personal approach and it’s up to each individual… Also, I didn’t really enjoy Kho Pha-ngan Island… The food is excellent. Great ambiance and the scenery is amazing. Good pace of activities. You meet people from all over. I liked the variety of yoga styles, depending on the teachers.

February 2, 2019 at 12:00 amI didn’t personally plan this program as I was promised. The yoga was geared towards beginners and there were various styles included. I ended up with one of the “not so good” rooms and felt a bit let down since it didn’t have a terrace, seating area, or view like it was supposed to. The room would have been fine for a shorter stay. So, if you’re expecting to progress in yoga or are searching for a legitimate yoga school, this probably isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re looking for a resort where you can eat healthy, dip your toes into spirituality, and unwind, I would definitely recommend this place. The food was fantastic, the rooms were spotless, the staff was mostly friendly, and the surroundings and pool area were lovely. It would be a great experience for someone with little to no yoga experience. The meditation classes were beneficial and some of the yoga instructors were truly skilled.

February 1, 2019 at 12:00 amI found some criticism regarding the level of yoga offered at the retreat. Even though I tried to do the Level 1 yoga, I still found it to be a little too intense for my body, especially with my existing issues. I felt there wasn’t enough focus on alternative poses for people with limitations, and some instructors should have checked if anyone had any issues or were pregnant.
I also think it would be helpful if they explained how the retreat works during check-in. It was our first yoga retreat, so we didn’t have much to compare it to. However, my son and I thought the facilities, food, instructors, and accommodation were top-notch. (My son was particularly concerned about the food but was pleasantly surprised!)
We absolutely loved every minute of our stay and wish it hadn’t gone by so quickly. We plan on coming back again at the end of the year. I highly recommend Wonderland Yoga Retreat to anyone looking for a complete holistic package with yoga, philosophy, meditation, and lifestyle choices. It’s a great place to start your transformation.

January 28, 2019 at 12:00 amThe hot water in the bathroom wasn’t working well, so I started off in a dorm room but it just wasn’t working out for me. I had to switch to a private room because there were too many girls crammed into a small space. Ventilation was poor, the AC was barely functioning, and there wasn’t enough storage for my stuff – I ended up having to put everything on the floor. The beds were so high for upper level guests and noisy, so every time I had to get up in the night, I’d wake my neighbor below.
I also wasn’t a fan of the stray dogs on the island, especially the ones that invaded the place. On the positive side, I loved how friendly everyone was and the family atmosphere. The premises were beautifully designed and well-maintained, clean and refreshing. The owner pays attention to detail, which is great for solo travelers like me.

January 26, 2019 at 12:00 amThe rooms at Wonderland were very clean and spacious, with two toilets for a 6-person dorm – perfect for us. However, I believe that concrete western-style houses are not the best choice for a tropical climate because they cause energy consumption to rise above acceptable levels; we had to use the air conditioner every night. Overall, everything was good. I was hoping for a more minimalist place, but Wonderland had a more vacation-like atmosphere which was still very enjoyable. The yoga classes were challenging but accessible even for beginners.

November 21, 2018 at 12:00 amI had the best food I’ve ever had in Thailand! And I’m not even vegan or vegetarian. The resort was surrounded by beautiful palm trees and nature, and it was super cute. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and I loved every yoga and meditation lesson. I hadn’t tried yoga or meditation before, but that wasn’t a problem. Staying at this retreat was the best decision I’ve made on my one-month trip through Thailand. Everyone there is super open-minded and friendly, and you’ll make new friends from all over the world in no time! The pool was fantastic and perfect for relaxing. There’s absolutely nothing negative to say. I’ve never felt this good and fit in my own body before. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and I wish I could have stayed even longer. I’m definitely coming back!

November 18, 2018 at 12:00 amI would prefer to have set programs with limited visitors instead of too many people coming and going. For example, we could only allow visitors on Saturdays, so that we can build a stronger bond with a fixed group and grow together. From the moment I arrived at the Healing Center, I felt the positive and loving energy. I immediately felt comfortable and incredibly happy. My expectations were exceeded. Wonderland is more than just a place for practicing yoga; it is a place for personal growth, relaxation, and thought-provoking insights to bring back to the Western world.

November 6, 2018 at 12:00 amI had a truly special experience at Wonderland. After working hard in China for two months, I came here hoping to reset, and it ended up being the perfect place for that. The yoga was just right for me, and having different instructors kept me excited for each class. I learned a lot from the other activities and seminars, and I absolutely loved the Ecstatic Dance! And let’s not forget about the food – it was amazing.
I didn’t expect to make friends at Wonderland, but everyone there was so welcoming, warm, and grateful to be there. I left with friends from around the world who I hope to see again. The communal dining lounge really helped create a sense of community and was definitely a highlight of my stay.

November 5, 2018 at 12:00 amI loved everything! As a newbie to yoga and meditation, I was a bit nervous at first, but all my worries disappeared as soon as I arrived at the retreat. The staff welcomed me warmly and helped me feel at ease.
Switching from a meat-based diet to vegan was a big change for me, but it has really opened my eyes. The food at the retreat was absolutely amazing – I can’t find a better way to describe it. The variety and flavors blew me away, especially the hummus, falafel, and cous cous at Friday’s lunch.
The classes were fantastic, both relaxing and challenging at the same time. The atmosphere was laid-back, so if you didn’t feel like joining a class and just wanted to relax by the pool, that was totally fine too.

October 28, 2018 at 12:00 am1. I think they should clearly state that this retreat is very “hands off” when it comes to facilitation. I only interacted with staff when checking in and out, unless I had a question.
2. It was nice to have various yoga instructors, but since none of them lived on site and there were so many, it was hard to connect with any of them. I was surprised by the number of instructors and never had the same one twice during my stay. However, it was great that they each had their own specialty classes.
3. Most pictures of Wonderland show yoga classes in a beautiful indoor space. I chose this retreat over others in Thailand because of that indoor space (I wanted to practice away from the heat and bugs). When I arrived, the indoor space was under renovation with loud construction, and most classes were held outside. This should have been mentioned on the website so guests could consider this before booking.
4. It was revealed that we were paying high season prices during low season in Thailand. They should make their prices public so guests are aware.
Overall, I loved my time at Wonderland. The facility is stunning, set in the jungle with mountains and a stream running through. The facilities are new and well-maintained, making even a dorm stay feel worth it. The food was AMAZING, as most reviews mention. Some guests were there just for the food! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the steam room was fantastic. The wifi was great for those needing to work. I felt extremely relaxed and will definitely recommend it to others!

October 16, 2018 at 12:00 amThe yoga classes cater to both beginners and high-level practitioners. The vegan food is so delicious and nutritious that I want all the recipes. The package includes a variety of spiritual techniques and courses you can enjoy all day. Opt for a longer stay and you’ll have a great time! I adored the teachers: Jess for Pilates, Mika for Yoga, Aly for meditation & Reiki, and Ella for Reiki. Cheryl’s classes were wonderful too ❤️❤️❤️ The kitchen team was funny and kind, the construction crew working on the new part of the resort, the receptionists, and the taxi drivers were all lovely! Thank you to the founders for their vision – you made Wonderland a reality! I love it.

October 16, 2018 at 12:00 amThe location. It was pretty close to the highway so the exhaust fumes were definitely noticeable. The nearest beach is also quite far; a real adventure on foot. The so-called secret beach turned out to be pretty flat and littered.
Point number two. The loud music and constant noise in the restaurant. Maybe trendy young people today need that. But it didn’t really give off a retreat vibe. Each of the 6 teachers had their own unique style and helped me with their tips. I was most impressed by Alon. His physically-focused, scientific approach gave yoga the grounding it deserved. Plus, the food was extremely diverse and healthy.

October 10, 2018 at 12:00 amI didn’t enjoy the massage area. The mattress looked old and was only covered with a thin sheet. There was someone right next to me and the masseurs chatted with each other in Thai, which I thought was rude. They should definitely provide more privacy since massages are a personal thing. The peaceful setting gave me a chance to think, but I could also hang out with other people if I wanted without feeling torn.

September 10, 2018 at 12:00 amI highly recommend the Wonderland stay to everyone – whether you’re looking for a intense 7 hours of full yoga and meditation program or just want to relax by the pool. It’s suitable for all yoga levels from absolute beginner to advanced. The food is amazing with a plentiful buffet, and the ladies at the reception are super pleasant and helpful. Wonderland exudes love and positive energy, located in the local jungle with plenty of green trees, a little river, and 100 places to hide and meditate, including hammocks and little shalas. The pool is nice too, so I STRONGLY RECOMMEND it! Surprisingly, it’s not a “hippie” place – during my 30 days there, everyone I met was super nice, pleasant, and educated. The location is a hidden gem a bit out of town, but a taxi ride to the shops, night markets, secret beach, etc. usually costs between $3-4 one way. Villas for 2 are beautiful, but there’s nothing wrong with the shared dorm accommodation where I stayed – it was clean, comfortable, and always had plenty of cold water in the fridge. I also liked that you can refill your bottle with fresh cold water on every corner in Wonderland – pretty awesome! They provide everything you need for yoga – mats, blocks, belts, cushions – as well as for meditation. I can wholeheartedly recommend it and definitely plan on going back soon!

September 9, 2018 at 12:00 amThere is absolutely nothing to dislike about this place. I have never been to a more incredible place in my life! My siblings and I have been to yoga retreats all over the world, and this is hands-down the best and most affordable one we’ve ever been to. The food is amazing – they don’t sacrifice flavor even though it’s all vegan. The property is impeccably clean, and the rooms are so comfortable. But the best part is the family that owns it – they are so welcoming and sweet. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough.

September 4, 2018 at 12:00 amI didn’t have a good experience at Wonderland. The staff, atmosphere, and site were not what I expected. The reception staff and instructors didn’t meet my expectations. They acted like they were better than the guests. The instructors seemed to have their own group and weren’t friendly, even eating separately at mealtimes. The reception staff were unhelpful and indifferent. Because of the staff’s attitudes and the vibe, my time at Wonderland felt like being at an 18-30s resort rather than a peaceful retreat. The resort is in a beautiful jungle location, but it looks like a construction site in some areas. However, the accommodations, facilities, and food were great.

August 5, 2018 at 12:00 amThe only thing that wasn’t ideal was that breakfast didn’t start until 8, same time as the Yoga classes. The first class ends at 9:30, second one begins at 10, so if you’re lucky and the teacher finishes on time, you could grab a quick bite at the amazing breakfast buffet. If you’re really into yoga classes (and not meditation or finding your inner peace ;-)), this might not be the perfect place for you. If you’re looking for a workout, you should book somewhere else.
Helpful ReviewThe vegan food was delicious and perfect for Europeans not used to the spicy Thai kitchen. The dorm was good and quite spacious, but be cautious when booking a 4-bed luxury dorm. We booked one and ended up in a 6-pax dorm with usually only 4 people in it.

August 2, 2018 at 12:00 amThe breakfast and fruit options could use a little more variety, it was the same every day. During my tour of the resort, I was told I had a massage included – but ended up having to pay 600 baht for it later. I also asked if they could take me to the beach instead of the pier, but unfortunately they couldn’t accommodate that. Very inflexible and not a great way to end the stay. July 29, 2018 at 12:00 amI literally loved everything about this place! The only thing to note is that breakfast starts at 8am, which coincides with the first yoga class. So, if you do the 8am yoga class, you won’t be able to have breakfast until after (9:30am). However, there are always bananas available for a pre-yoga snack, and you can also get a takeaway box at meal times if you need something to eat.
I’m really trying to find something to complain about here, but it’s tough! Everything was just so amazing:
– The food was incredible – so much variety and delicious flavors.
– The staff were incredibly kind and caring.
– The other guests were wonderful people, and I’ve made some lifelong friends.
– There were plenty of classes to choose from, including yoga, meditation, and special workshops. It’s more than just a yoga retreat!
– The atmosphere was so relaxed – no pressure to do everything if you didn’t want to.
– The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great amenities.
– The resort itself was beautiful with a fantastic pool and steam room, plus plenty of chill out spots.
And let’s not forget the daily free smoothie or coconut and unlimited tea and coffee (the coffee was so good – cacao and coconut milk coffee was my favorite!).
The fact that most people either extended their stay or thought about it just goes to show how amazing this place really is. I’ll definitely be back one day.

It was pretty frightening, so I think I’ll opt for the dorm next time. The private room wasn’t worth the price, the shower didn’t work properly, and the water was sometimes cold or even dirty at times. The other events besides yoga and meditation were not very impressive in my opinion. Although the food was amazing, as a non-vegan, it wasn’t quite satisfying for me. I also wished there were more power yoga classes. On the bright side, I liked that I got to try different types of yoga and meditation, the schedule was packed, the food was delicious, the people were friendly, and the setting with hammocks, pool, and nature was really nice. April 3, 2018 at 12:00 amI can’t book a private villa in advance, but it’s okay because the atmosphere here is relaxed and flexible. I met a lot of like-minded people, mostly single travelers which was great because there were fewer couples and no children. The standard of yoga was very impressive, especially considering this is a fairly remote place. All the instructors, including visiting ones like Catherine, Nancy, and Jess on Pilates, were experienced and real proper teachers, not just fly-by-night travelers. I was most impressed by that. The food was of good quality and vegan, and the rooms were clean, though lacking in little things like bedside lamps or more places to hang clothes. But overall, it was great. The only downside was that you couldn’t choose your room; upgrades were random and based on availability after you arrive. Oh well, at least there were no mosquitoes despite being in the jungle. It was a quick escape from corporate life with some good yoga and meditation, so I’m happy. You can’t have everything you want in life, right? Just a heads up!

March 19, 2018 at 12:00 amMassage therapists were always chattering away amongst themselves, not very sensitive to our needs, and we ended up with a neck ache. They also mixed up our schedules. You’ll receive great guidance in all classes, from yoga to meditation to reiki and more. Make sure to join the evening activities like inner dance and fire ceremony. You’ll also get to know the commune that Wonderland is a part of, a unique group of people who can even open up the most rational minds. And don’t forget to treat yourself to a massage and relax in the steam bath. The food is ridiculously delicious too. Bye!

They always have a big salad bar and different types of curry, rice, and more. I really enjoyed Mika’s Level 2 alignment flows classes.

March 6, 2018 at 12:00 amI stayed in the dorm and found the bed pretty hard and uncomfortable, but that’s common in Thailand. Unfortunately, there was no storage or room to organize clothes or your bag so all four of us had our things splayed out on the floor. Hopefully they have something to change this soon.
Oh my goodness, the food was amazing! I’m not vegan, but I wanted to try everything on the buffet every meal. The steam sauna was the best way to start and end my day. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature.
The teachers all brought something special and different each day. There was plenty of variety in classes and special events every day. I had such a lovely time.

February 28, 2018 at 12:00 amI stayed in a shared dorm and I wish there had been a small shelf or box by each bed for valuables. I was on the top bunk and I always keep water next to me at night. There weren’t enough hooks in the room or the bathroom. But overall, the room was cleaned every day and very comfortable. The positive, nurturing, supportive atmosphere at Wonderland was perfect for spiritual and emotional growth. And let me tell you about the food! As a vegan, I was in heaven with the daily delicious options that felt like they nourished my soul as well as my body. The staff were attentive and respectful without being intrusive. February 27, 2018 at 12:00 amI have no complaints, but it would be great if they could add shelves for the top bunks in the dorms. Each top bunk could use one for storing books, phones, and water to prevent things from falling.
I can’t wait to come back, thank you all so much!! Wonderland is the perfect name for this place. As soon as I arrived, I felt right at home and welcomed. The yoga shalas have everything you need, the restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated. The food is absolutely amazing, I need to get my hands on those recipes! The pool is always clean and the perfect temperature. The steam room is fantastic, with different herbal oils used daily for a unique experience each time. The massages and treatments are a wonderful addition to the yoga classes and always left me feeling great and ready for more.
The yoga classes were varied in style and level. It would have been nice to have some more advanced classes for working on challenging postures, but the ones offered really helped me improve. The vinyasa and yin classes were always enjoyable. All the instructors were helpful and had their own teaching styles. Huge shoutout to Ewa and Connie for their unique perspectives on yoga and asana practice.

Die Abendevents waren nicht meins. Ich bin ohne Handy angekommen, da ich es in Bangkok verloren habe. January 18, 2018 at 12:00 amWonderland truly was magical, taking us on an emotional, physical, and spiritual rollercoaster. My partner and I had never tried yoga before the retreat, but we got completely hooked within days. The staff and teachers amazed us, and we saw improvement in our posture, strength, and flexibility within a week. The variety and quality of the classes were top-notch. We particularly loved the Hatha and Alignment classes, and we’ve kept up with our practices since leaving the retreat.
Now, let’s talk about the food… wow! We aren’t vegans or vegetarians, but the food was incredible. There was a huge variety of cuisines that changed daily, along with fresh salad, fruit, and shakes. It was so healthy and so delicious that we’ve actually been inspired to cut down on our meat and dairy consumption.
Moving on to the extras… Reiki, which was new to us, was an amazing and personal experience. Melody was fantastic! We also treated ourselves to Thai and Oil massages, which were heavenly.
And finally, the accommodation and facilities… we stayed in a 4-bed dorm, which felt like complete luxury after staying in hostels for months. The beds were so comfy, the room was cleaned every day, and it was a perfect size for 4 people. It was like heaven! The facilities, like the pool, were also great and never too crowded.
I normally wouldn’t write such a long review, but Wonderland truly deserves it. It was a life-changing experience for us, and we can’t wait to go back.

I highly recommend taking advantage of all the amenities included in the price – food, fresh juices, massages, pool, sauna, yoga, meditation, and more. Treat yourself – you won’t regret it.

November 2, 2017 at 12:00 amI was far away from the beach, but I knew that already. Just thought I’d let you know. I really loved the vibe and facilities at the place. The variety of yoga classes they offer daily is really impressive. The daily meditation sessions and healing procedures are amazing. I was lucky to try out kundalini yoga, TRE, and embryonic yoga, in addition to the more traditional yoga styles. The food there is fantastic, and I’m not even a vegetarian! I was able to quit smoking and really turn my life around in this place.

October 8, 2017 at 12:00 amThere’s not much to dislike! I didn’t like that they allowed children on the premises as they disturbed the peace. The facilities are great. The instructors are very patient and knowledgeable. I loved that we got a free coconut every day and a free massage included. We had a wonderful time! I will definitely recommend this place.

September 23, 2017 at 12:00 amI wish the beds were softer. It would also be nice if they offered night yoga or meditation before bed. The Wi-Fi is spotty too. I absolutely loved the private bungalow with the private pool. The food was all amazing. The yoga and meditation were fantastic. The community was so lovely and kind, everyone really went out of their way to make sure we were doing well. It’s a great place to get away.

September 19, 2017 at 12:00 amWe never found a place with food as good as Wonderland after our stay. The schedule included various yoga forms and meditation, the food was super delicious, the room was very comfortable, and the people had a relaxed, easy-going vibe.
It’s great for beginners since we tried 5 different types of yoga, as well as meditation and Pilates. The owners were always around to offer tips and help with questions and travel plans. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
Thanks! It couldn’t have been better. 🙂

September 15, 2017 at 12:00 amThe Wonderland Healing Center is one of the most refreshing places I’ve ever been to. I attended a 12-day detox retreat there in September, and I was really impressed. I especially loved the dedicated healers and yoga teachers. The detox program was carefully put together, so I felt comfortable right from the start. The variety of yoga classes offered was great, with options ranging from sweaty Ashtanga to relaxing Yin Yoga three times a day. The healers at the center are true experts in their field. It’s nothing like the overly spiritual or fanatical places you often see nowadays. And the setting itself is absolutely beautiful. I stayed in a private Pool Villa with an infinity pool just steps from the bedroom. I can’t wait to return to Wonderland Healing Center soon!

September 3, 2017 at 12:00 amEveryone loves it! There’s nothing to complain about. The trip is worth every penny. Bridget, the vegan, is surprisingly perfect! All the staff members are friendly and helpful. It’s a calm and relaxing place. They offer great yoga sessions with professional teachers. I felt refreshed throughout the 6-day yoga retreat.

August 7, 2017 at 12:00 amI had the amazing opportunity to spend 14 wonderful days at Wonderland and participate in their Yoga Retreat package. The resort, which is only 6 months old, is even more beautiful in person than in the promotional video and pictures. I stayed in a private room with a view of the pool and had a relaxing hammock on my balcony. The staff members, especially Ham and Aly, were fantastic, and the Vegan food was delicious and diverse. Even though I’m not a Vegan or Vegetarian, I never felt the need to eat anywhere else.
There were a wide variety of Yoga and meditation classes available, all taught by great instructors. I was able to enhance my own yoga practice and learn so much from all of the teachers. The tiny Thai massage therapist who worked on me every other day really pushed me to new limits, but she was amazing!
Thank you, Wonderland, for providing me with such a beautiful Yoga Retreat experience. I hope to return in the future and bring my family along. Namasté,

August 3, 2017 at 12:00 amThe resort is a bit far from the pier and beaches, and the steam room is secluded and dark, especially at night. But this place is truly a wonderland – serene and beautiful. I met some amazing people there, made friends from all over the world, and explored the island with them. It’s a beautiful island. You should definitely try Victoria and Nancy’s yoga classes.
The rooms are very clean and nice, the pool and restaurant are beautiful and cozy. All the instructors and staff are kind and supportive, taking care of all your needs. I absolutely loved their food – the best vegan food I’ve ever had. The massages are top-notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. If you can, get a Reiki treatment with Eyal – he’s one of the most calm and spiritual people I’ve ever met.
Wonderland truly changed me. I fell in love with my body and skin after the detox, and I understood the true power of just being and not letting anything external disturb the peace of my mind. I was really sad to leave. This place can bring a strange peace and happiness to you. I’m definitely going back.

July 31, 2017 at 12:00 amThe only possible drawback had nothing to do with the retreat itself, just that it was a bit of a hike to get to the beach and shops. But making friends was easy, especially when they were willing to give you a ride on their scooters. Taxis and the retreat staff were also there to help out if needed.
Overall, everything was amazing. The retreat exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of yoga classes, clean rooms, and surprisingly delicious vegan food. I was worried about the vegan meals since I usually eat meat, but I ended up loving it. The best part was the people – lots of solo travelers to chat and hang out with, as well as the friendly Israeli staff who made me feel like part of the family. You guys are awesome! I can’t wait to visit again.

July 26, 2017 at 12:00 amWonderland amazes me. I planned for a 3-night stay but ended up staying longer. Let me tell you, the food here is top-notch, especially the vegan options. The resort is nestled away from the island’s hustle and bustle, making it so peaceful. You have access to stunning beaches and waterfall trails nearby. They have a variety of yoga and meditation programs, with fantastic teachers. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the pool is a great beach alternative. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind – I’ll definitely be back.

July 26, 2017 at 12:00 amI only wished the resort was closer to the beach for day trips, but they did provide rides into town if requested, which was super helpful! The accommodations were top-notch – the room was so clean and comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, and they cleaned the room and gave fresh towels every day. It was fantastic!

June 20, 2017 at 12:00 amI prefer positives only. It’s a bit far from Thong Sala town, but that’s just what I was looking for – peace and quiet. You can easily rent a motorbike if you want to explore, and the staff is super helpful if you need anything. The classes, the food, the staff, the pool, the atmosphere, the massages… everything was fantastic and I definitely recommend it!

May 31, 2017 at 12:00 amI wish I had rented a bike and explored more of the island, especially the beaches and events. However, Hiem was kind enough to run errands with me and the community members offered me rides to some events. My week at Wonderland was incredible. The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing. Even though I was traveling alone, the staff and community made me feel included all week with their kindness and generosity. Since it was low season, I had the dorm room all to myself for most of my stay, which made the retreat very affordable. The yoga classes were challenging and helped me improve my fitness and technique. The included treatments were top-notch and added a touch of luxury to my stay. I loved relaxing by the pool and in my air-conditioned room between classes. And let’s not forget the amazing food and free juice every day – that was definitely the highlight! Wonderland gave me everything I needed and more to break up my 5 months of backpacking.
