Wow, what an experience this was! I was initially hesitant because I had never done a retreat like this before, and I usually like to be in control of my own plans. However, booking this retreat turned out to be the best decision I’ve made in a long time!
Oksana personalized the schedule for me based on the questionnaire I filled out. Our days were filled with yoga, meditation sessions, and delicious raw and vegan meals at beautiful cafes. And guess what? I got to explore Ubud in an even more authentic way by zipping around on Oksana’s scooter, discovering hidden gems I wouldn’t have seen otherwise.
The yoga classes and meditations took place in gorgeous studios and scenic locations, and the teachers were absolutely fantastic. And let me tell you, the food was incredible! Even though I’m not vegan or vegetarian (but I do have to follow a gluten-free diet due to coeliac), I absolutely loved every single meal we had. This retreat really opened my eyes to how tasty and satisfying healthy food can be!
Oksana is such a lovely person, and we clicked right from the beginning. We had deep and meaningful conversations over meals and while exploring Ubud. It was truly an amazing connection.

My instructor, Jason Moon, is a yoga teacher himself, and he introduced me to some of the best yoga classes in Ubud. I got to experience different teaching styles and also tried other practices like sound healing and deep breathing therapy.
I love food, especially raw and vegan options, so I wanted to explore the best places for that while cutting out alcohol (I usually eat and drink anything). Jason exceeded my expectations with the dining experience he curated.
It’s hard to choose a favorite moment since everything was so memorable. The water ceremony was beautiful, the organic sauna and campfire were amazing, but one of my absolute favorite things was riding on the back of Jason’s bike and zooming around Ubud.
This trip has ignited my love for Bali, and I definitely plan on coming back. And when I do, I’ll definitely use the same company to help me plan my itinerary.

Helpful ReviewI suppose it was just one misunderstanding in my schedule. I had a Tibetan bowl meditation planned, but when I got there, I realized I needed a reservation. Oksana didn’t know about it, so I had to wait for 2 hours until my next session started. I spent that time having lunch.
It was a bit unpleasant, to be honest.
I also had a purification ceremony scheduled for Saturday, but I asked Oksana to reschedule it because I don’t like crowded places. She was kind enough to move it to Tuesday. Unfortunately, there was another ceremony in Bali that she didn’t realize, so it was still crowded. Plus, with the recent rain, the place was muddy and slippery. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I wouldn’t do it again.
Meeting Oksana’s friend Sonja at the sauna was great, but on my last day, I felt like a third wheel. They had a lot to talk about, and I just listened. It was a bit awkward.
I booked a 7-day yoga retreat with Oksana, and both her and her friend Lesya helped me throughout the whole experience. Since Oksana had to travel, I started the retreat with Lesya. Oksana is a member of Yoga barn and also offers workshops and classes there. They were both understanding about my jet lag and allowed flexibility in the schedule, so I missed some morning yoga and meditation sessions.
I also had the opportunity to try acupuncture sessions and Cranio-sacral therapy at my own expense. They’re not part of the yoga program, but something I wanted to experience in Ubud. Oksana even gave me a welcome gift, a journal and a sarong for the purification ceremony.
One day, Oksana and I went to a lovely sauna near Ubud, where I got to meet her friend Sonja. They had some time to catch up, but I felt like I was just there, not really part of the conversation.
Lastly, I joined Lesya in a chocolate workshop, which was interactive and enjoyable.

I went on a three-week solo trip and decided to include a yoga retreat. It ended up being one of my favorite parts of the trip! I might even go as far as saying it was one of my best vacations ever! I connected with Michael, Oksana, and the other guests and felt like we were a family. They were incredibly warm and loving. Helpful ReviewI told her that I would be coming on Wednesday and starting the program on Thursday morning. But this morning, she didn’t show up and messaged me saying she thought I was coming a day later, suggesting we meet in the afternoon around 3/4 pm. So, I lost almost a whole day because of her mistake, and she didn’t even apologize for it.
During the welcome meeting, a girl interrupted our conversation to say that she wasn’t feeling well. They both left and came back about 15/20 minutes later without asking for permission before leaving or apologizing afterward.
She tried to count Nyepi, the day of silence, as one of the days in her program. On this day, nobody is allowed to leave the premises, so we couldn’t meet. I told her this was not acceptable, but she initially claimed it wasn’t her responsibility. However, after some discussion, she finally agreed that Nyepi shouldn’t count and promised an extra day.
On this extra day, which was originally part of my booking, she sent me to a yoga class without joining me. I ended up having to pay for the night in the hotel and even the drinks that were supposed to be included.
The scooter was supposed to be included as well, but she didn’t want to pay for it. Sometimes, I had to go to appointments on my own, and she didn’t cover the transportation costs.
On the almost last evening, she suddenly said she wanted to talk to me about cryptocurrency for five minutes, but it turned into a 1.5-hour-long speech that bored me a lot.
The girl actually ended up canceling her retreat a few days before it was supposed to end.
The program was not personalized, and I still faced the same problems as before. It’s difficult to say anything positive about her because she shows no care for the needs and expectations of her clients.

August 30, 2023 at 12:00 amWhat an amazing experience this was! I was a bit nervous at first since I’ve never been on a retreat like this before and I usually like to be in control of my own plans. But booking this retreat turned out to be the best decision I’ve made in a long time!
Oksana customized a schedule just for me based on the questionnaire I filled out. Our days were filled with yoga, meditation sessions, and delicious raw and vegan meals at lovely cafes. And let me tell you, zipping around on Oksana’s scooter between activities and locations made my experience of Ubud even more authentic. I got to see things I wouldn’t have otherwise.
The yoga classes and meditations took place in beautiful studios and scenic spots. The yoga teachers were top-notch, and the food we had was incredible! Now, I’m not usually vegan or vegetarian (although I do avoid gluten due to being coeliac), but I absolutely loved every single meal. Eating these delicious raw vegan dishes opened my eyes to how tasty healthy food can be!
Let me just say, Oksana is the sweetest person ever. We hit it off right from the start! I really enjoyed our deep and meaningful conversations over meals and while exploring Ubud together on her scooter.
By the end of the retreat, I felt completely rejuvenated, reenergized, balanced, and centered. I got so much more out of it than I ever expected!
Not only did I have an incredible retreat experience, but it was also a fantastic way to get to know Ubud, the yoga scene, and the local cafes. I’m definitely planning on going back to Ubud and hopefully sharing a few more yoga classes and meals with Oksana, but this time as friends 🙂

July 9, 2023 at 12:00 amI genuinely made one of the best decisions of my life by deciding to attend “Art of Life” with Oksana. I have a bit of yoga background and thought I would enjoy the classes she chose for me, but I was blown away by the quality of the studios, instructors, and all the other activities and restaurants she planned for us each day. She really opened my eyes to so many beautiful and challenging workshops, meditations, and experiences. There wasn’t anything we did that I didn’t love!
Unfortunately, it rained for a few days while I was there, but Oksana did everything she could to adjust schedules and make the most of my time in Ubud. And let me tell you, it was still fabulous! Oksana’s expert scooter skills and knowledge of the area made the week so seamless. Plus, she is one of the loveliest humans I have ever met. I truly feel like I’ve gained a lifelong friend.
If you’re considering attending, please do yourself a favor and go for it. Oksana will customize the experience to fit your needs and interests, giving you a unique experience in Ubud that you won’t find from researching online recommendations. I can’t say enough positive things about my time here, and I wish I could do it all over again tomorrow!

As soon as I arrived, I didn’t have to worry about making decisions. I was taken care of and given a personalized program that was perfect for me. That’s the great thing about this approach – it’s completely tailored to your needs.
My instructor, Jason Moon, is a yoga teacher himself. He took me to some of the best yoga classes in Ubud, so I got to experience different teaching styles. We also tried other practices like sound healing and deep breathing therapy.
I love good food, especially raw and vegan options. I wanted to explore the best of these while leaving alcohol behind. Jason went above and beyond to curate a dining experience that exceeded my expectations.
It’s hard to choose a favorite moment. The water ceremony was beautiful, and the “organic” sauna and campfire were amazing. But one of the things I enjoyed most was riding around Ubud on the back of Jason’s bike, wearing a helmet.
This trip has definitely made me fall in love with Bali. I plan to come back, and when I do, I’ll definitely use the same company to help me plan my itinerary.

I gotta admit, this was my first time going on a solo trip and trying out a yoga retreat, so I didn’t really know what to expect at first. But man, choosing this retreat was seriously the best decision of my entire life! I learned and experienced so freaking much, and honestly, it was exactly what I needed at this point in my life. There’s so much I loved about this retreat that I could go on forever, but let me just say that there is absolutely no way you’ll regret joining this retreat. Like, seriously, you gain so much more than what you pay for, you know?

When I met Michael, I immediately felt comfortable and knew I was in for an amazing time. After spending 10 days at the Nandini Yoga Healing and nature yoga retreat, I found myself alone in Ubud. I spontaneously decided to sign up for this personalized experience, knowing it was the right decision to make the most out of my last few days in Ubud and not be alone. And let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Right from the start, Michael made me feel relaxed and taken care of. He thoroughly read my application questionnaire and designed a retreat specifically for me, combining yoga classes, walks, and activities to keep my energy levels up. He also introduced me to some incredibly delicious vegetarian restaurants in Ubud to support my goal of eating healthily. I also had the pleasure of indulging in a unique wet sauna experience and a fantastic Balinese massage, which really nourished my body. July 18, 2019 at 12:00 amI think I just had one misunderstanding in my schedule. I had a Tibetan bowl meditation planned, but when I got there, I found out I needed a reservation. Oksana didn’t know about it, so I had to wait for two hours until my next session started. While waiting, I had lunch, so it wasn’t too bad.
I also wanted to participate in a purification ceremony, but I asked Oksana to reschedule it because I don’t like crowded places. She was kind enough to move it to Tuesday, but unfortunately, there was another ceremony in Bali that she didn’t realize. It was still crowded, and the recent rain made it even more challenging. The place is in the jungle with slippery steps. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I wouldn’t try it again.
I was happy to meet Oksana’s friend Sonja at the sauna and on my last day. However, I felt like a third wheel because they had a lot to talk about, and I was just there listening. It was a bit awkward. I booked a seven-day yoga retreat with Oksana.
Both Oksana and her friend Lesya helped me during those seven days since Oksana had to travel. Oksana is a member of Yoga Barn and also offers workshops and classes there. They were both flexible with the schedule because I was jet-lagged during the first few days, so I missed some morning yoga and meditation classes.
I also liked that I could add some acupuncture and Cranio-sacral therapy sessions at my own expense. They weren’t part of the yoga program, but I wanted to try them while in Ubud. As a welcome gift, Oksana gave me a nice journal and a sarong for the purification ceremony.
We went to a lovely sauna near Ubud, and I got to meet Oksana’s friend Sonja there. They had some time to talk and catch up. I also attended a fun chocolate workshop with Lesya. It was interactive and enjoyable.
Overall, it was a nice experience.

The Adiwana resort where I stayed was absolutely stunning, with a magnificent room situated in the heart of the Jungle and easy access to explore the dynamic streets of Ubud. I had the freedom to personalize my retreat by participating in daily yoga sessions, ecstatic dance, drumming, acupuncture, massage, steam, natural perfume making, and exploring the diverse culinary scene of Indonesian food. Oksana and Leseya organized these healing activities for me, while Michael taught me how to ride a motorbike, which was an exhilarating experience. Moreover, the amazing food I ate played a vital role in my healing journey, as Bali is filled with some of the best vegan restaurants in the world!
However, the absolute highlight of my retreat was the bond I formed with Oksana, Leseya, and Michael. They are the most caring, intuitive, conscious, funny, knowledgeable trio I have ever met. Our connection has cemented a lifelong friendship. I am forever grateful for the time, effort, and precise care they put into every detail of my retreat.
I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend the Arts of Life retreat! Treat yourself to this magical immersion experience, as it truly changed my life.

But I always enjoyed group meals, even as an introvert, haha! I went on this yoga retreat as part of a three-week solo trip. It was one of my favorite parts! I would even go as far as to say it was one of my best vacations ever! I felt like I found a family in Michael, Oksana, and the other guests. They were so warm and loving. Michael was an incredible guide and friend, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. The itinerary was fantastic, every day was enjoyable with just the right amount of yoga mixed in. And even after leaving, I could still feel the positive effects of this experience.
