I can’t believe it ended so quickly! Thank you so much for everything! This training experience was absolutely amazing.

In the opening circle, they greeted us with smiles, flowers, and surprises (I won’t spoil the fun by giving away all the details).

The trainers were genuine, approachable, and knowledgeable. It’s clear that they have dedicated a lot of time to childhood studies and they really know their stuff.

While the course initially focused on children’s yoga, they also talked extensively about brain development, therapy, and adapting activities to individual needs. It was a deep course that provided us with a wide range of tools that will be incredibly helpful in the classroom.

Volunteering with the group was a respectful and eye-opening experience.

We also learned that a percentage of the course fee went directly back into the community, which was invested with care and thoughtfulness.

I would highly recommend this training to anyone who works with young learners.

    Enjoy every minute of it!

I was really let down by the teaching and content of the course. They fell way below what I was expecting. I mean, come on, who doesn’t prioritize the health and safety of kids? It’s a no-brainer! And there was hardly any useful information on the anatomy of a child’s body. It’s such a shame in today’s world.

And don’t even get me started on the instructor. They seemed all over the place when it came to yoga basics and even got some facts wrong about anatomy and philosophy. It made me question everything else they taught us.

The time management could have been so much better. Instead of wasting it on games and coloring, we could have focused more on important stuff like anatomy, health, safety, and setting up a class. It felt like they cared more about advertising the course than actually giving us valuable content. Such a letdown.

But hey, I have to give credit where it’s due. The materials they provided were really well-done. They were colorful and high quality, so you could see they put some effort into that at least.

There were a couple of bright spots, though. We had some awesome guest speakers who really knew their stuff. The inner child workshop and sound healing workshop were top-notch. They exceeded my expectations with practical exercises and amazing content. Those were the highlights of the whole course for me.

I wanna do it agaaaaaiiiiin :(!!!!! I booked this course without any expectations, but I knew there would be a lot of information to squeeze into that amount of time. I absolutely loved every single second! Jeanne has this amazing way of capturing your attention and teaching in a way that just makes you want to learn more. She opens up a whole new world in your mind and is truly one of the most inspiring people I’ve ever met.

Visiting the school and getting hands-on experience was such a heartwarming experience. Connecting with young people in a different country and community really opens your eyes. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who works with kids, has kids, or is simply interested in understanding the human psyche. It was such an amazing experience.

Thank you Jeanne, Peaceful Warriors, and Serenity for creating such a beautiful experience 🙂

I didn’t dislike anything. The teachers were passionate, engaging, and incredibly supportive. They structured the course really well, and I absolutely loved that we had a yang class every day, along with all the yin! The amount of practice teaching, feedback, and support we received every day was amazing – it has really boosted my confidence to teach Yin classes now! I highly recommend this course to others.

I signed up for professional growth and it completely transformed me as a person. I absolutely adored the course and Jeanne Welsh, the instructor, was absolutely amazing. Her energy and positivity were so contagious that it was impossible not to be inspired by her. The free resources provided were also top-notch!

Now, me and my classmates are connected by the realization that we have the ability to positively impact children’s lives with just a single mindful thought.

The accommodation’s meal packages aren’t worth the money, but luckily, there are amazing places to eat nearby that fit perfectly into our schedule. We also made good use of the basic kitchen for breakfast. We absolutely adored the course content and how detailed everything was. Each teacher brought their unique input and shared their extensive knowledge. The shala was absolutely stunning and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that felt like home. Bente and Maria provided a safe space for us to embark on our personal journeys. The group was incredibly supportive, thanks to their excellent leadership. We learned so much about yoga and related subjects, with a special focus on yoga history and anatomy. Plus, there were countless activities to enhance our experience, but the water temple held a particularly special place in my heart.

Looking back, the training was incredibly unique and amazing, making it hard for me to find something that I didn’t enjoy. Overall, there was a lot of program every day (which is great because you get a lot of input in a short amount of time). However, I found it a bit challenging to digest everything I learned. It is definitely recommended (if you have the time) to spend a few more days on the beautiful island to relax and let everything sink in 😉

I stayed in a single room in the accommodation, which had a really high bunk bed. Towards the end of the month, this became a bit annoying.

The yoga shala is well-equipped with mats and props. However, I brought my own travel mat because I didn’t really like the mats at the school.

Honestly, it’s really hard for me to find something that I didn’t like. It was an incredibly enlightening, eye-opening, and magical journey to becoming a yoga teacher. The entire training was well thought out and each session built upon the previous one. The learning content was super interesting and definitely sparked a desire to dive deeper into the topics.

The teachers are loving, open-minded, and passionate. It was so much fun being taught and learning from them.

Before the training, I thought I was joining mainly to improve my own yoga practice. But we learned so much about teaching and creating yoga flows that I have now decided to become a teacher myself 🙂 I want to pass on all the wonderful things I experienced to others.

The location of the school is in a quieter side street, which is great for sleeping and studying. However, the beach is a bit far by foot, but there are many delicious cafes and restaurants nearby.

The yoga sessions were very comprehensive. It wasn’t just about the yoga practice; we delved into the whole world of yoga with theory sessions, pranayama, meditation, and more. Apart from the yoga classes, we also had surf lessons, a massage, and a temple visit. I have to say, I really enjoyed the whole package.

I can definitely recommend thepeacefulwarriors 100%!

Everything was amazing, not applicable. Rachel and Jody have created a beautiful environment together. I learned so much during the 50-hour training and I can’t wait to take what I learned back home and apply it! I felt safe to ask questions, voice my opinions, and receive feedback. It was a wonderful experience, the only downside is that the training isn’t a 100 hours!

I wasn’t disappointed at all because the yoga teachers were amazing! They knew their stuff and made the classes interesting and engaging. They had a genuine passion for teaching and it showed in both their theoretical and practical lessons. The location was absolutely fabulous. I stayed at the Oasis and it was top-notch. In the mornings, I enjoyed a delicious and healthy breakfast, along with some coffee and treats from the Cafe just across the street. By the end of the week, I felt completely rejuvenated and inspired. The group was diverse and everyone was incredibly friendly, even though I came alone. It wasn’t a problem at all.

I really wish we could have delved deeper into the philosophy and history of yoga, but I get it, there’s only so much you can cover in such a short and intense time! My YTT experience was so much fun! We covered a wide range of subjects, learning all sorts of things from anatomy to philosophy to Ayurveda, which always got me super excited to learn more. The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and the yoga classes were just incredible! Each person was drawn to different parts of the course, so it gave us a chance to find our passions and explore them further. I also loved how they balanced challenging lectures with fun workshops like aerial and acro yoga! With the asana lab, we were teaching each other right from the beginning and with the help of bente, Maria, and Lala, we were more than prepared to teach when the final practical came around. Canggu is seriously the best place for yoga. It’s so laid-back and chill, with amazing food and beautiful beaches. How can you not love it?

They are always supportive and here at all times to answer any questions or anything else. They will definitely make sure you feel at ease during this month. The other teachers are also great and incredibly talented. I didn’t expect to learn as much as I did. The field of this YTT (yoga teacher training) is very vast, which is something I really appreciate, including topics like Ayurveda and nutrition. The shala, with its opening towards the rice fields, is the perfect place to practice, and the Monday breakfast is a paradise for food lovers. This has been an unforgettable human experience for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves yoga.

The training surpassed my expectations in every way! I couldn’t find anything to improve upon because it was so well thought out. Not only did we learn about the physical aspects of Yoga and the Asana practice, but we also delved into subjects like Anatomy, meditation, breathing, the history and philosophy of Yoga, Nutrition, Ayurveda, and more. This comprehensive approach really put the practice and lifestyle of yoga into a holistic context.

Each class I attended provided me with a deeper understanding not only of yoga but also of myself. I felt like I was growing and evolving as a person, which is crucial if you want to share your practice with others. Bente and Maria, our main teachers for the YTT, were devoted, inspiring, and incredibly knowledgeable. They complemented each other’s teaching methods, exposing us to various styles right from the start. They were always available to answer any questions we had throughout the training.

The guest teachers were also experts in their fields and added so much value to our learning experience. Bente and Maria gradually introduced us to the idea of teaching, starting with peer-teaching and then moving onto small groups before we confidently stood up to teach the entire class.

The practice space itself was breathtaking, overlooking the picturesque rice fields of Bali. Waking up to the sunrise before our practice was truly priceless. The teachers did an amazing job of fostering a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie among the group throughout the entire journey.

That’s why I wholeheartedly recommend this YTT without any hesitation.

The accommodation at Serenity was very basic, it had everything I needed but not more. I would have preferred it if the accommodation had a kitchen of some sort to prepare our own foods, or at least a hot water kettle. But let me tell you, the Peaceful Warriors’ Yoga Teacher Training in Bali is an absolute must-do if you’re looking to train abroad! The teachers are incredibly talented, and they’re also a ton of fun and super inspiring. I honestly didn’t expect the training to have such a profound impact on my life, but it truly did. And guess what? I was lucky enough to share this incredible experience with 25 amazing people from all over the world. It really felt like we became one big yoga family during the Peaceful Warriors YTT in January 2018.
