The bathrooms in the hostel weren’t the cleanest, but hey, it’s a hostel so what can you expect, right? The course was absolutely amazing. Sandeep and Katharina teach with so much passion and their knowledge about yoga history, philosophy, and the body is mind-blowing. I learned an incredible amount in just three weeks – it felt like a whole semester at uni, haha! The schedule was intense, but it was always fun and the days flew by. It was such a wonderful experience with the best people and such great vibes. I can’t say anything negative about the teacher training, it was seriously amazing. The accommodation is really special, like a little oasis in Canggu.

The serenity house may get noisy at times due to street noises, depending on the room. Just keep that in mind. Other than that, it offers a super tropical, friendly, and comfortable atmosphere. I absolutely loved the foundations of yoga, including the asanas, anatomy classes, and yogic philosophy. The way it was designed was simply amazing! The program itself, teaching methodology, and the opportunity to create our own class (hatha, hatha flow, or vinyasa flow) were all exceptional. The detailed and illustrated manual was also a plus. And let’s not forget about the delicious vegan breakfasts! Overall, it was a truly unique and inspirational experience. Thank you so much for your teachings and sharing!

I recommend having extra mosquito protection in the rooms. The classes structured rigorously, combining traditional and modern understandings of yoga, not just focusing on the asanas. This approach helped us gain a deeper understanding of practice and aided in our personal journey and growth throughout the three weeks.

Our teachers were exceptional, extremely knowledgeable, and always available for open and honest conversations. They provided great emotional support, constantly being there for us with a smile on their faces. They really took the time to get to know us as individuals.

All the classes were suitable for all levels. I highly recommend this yoga school to anyone looking to expand their understanding of Yoga as a whole.

A big thank you to the teachers for their time!

I absolutely loved the energy that Sandeep and Katerina brought to the course. They were so authentic, warm, intelligent, and passionate about sharing their knowledge of yoga history and anatomy. I learned so much from them in such a short amount of time because they made it fun and interesting.

I searched for a while to find the perfect course, and I knew I made the right choice as soon as I arrived. Sandeep and Katerina are genuine people, and the class sizes are small, so you get a personalized experience. It was a lot of hours, but it was completely worth it!

I had the most incredible experience with Anandam. I already miss them and all the amazing yogis I met during the course.

Watching everyone complete their first class and finish the course together was so rewarding and joyful.

If you want an authentic experience, learning traditional yoga from an Indian and gaining scientific knowledge about nutrition from a nutritionist and scientist, seriously don’t look anywhere else.

We stayed at Serenity Eco, which had amazing vegan food and drinks. The provided breakfast was also delicious. Anandam made arrangements for us to use a shala for the course, and it perfectly aligned with their approach to health and wellness. In the end, I came for a course, not for a holiday retreat.

On some days, we went down the road to the bakery called Fold. The accommodation was slightly rustic, but I hardly spent any time in my room. The pool, grounds, and garden were incredibly beautiful! It’s only a 5-minute walk to the beach for sunrise, and it’s very convenient to get around with a gojek if needed.

Thanks to Sandeep and Kathrina, this training was an amazing opportunity for those who want to deepen their Yoga practice, especially in the traditional Indian style. I personally can’t wait to attend more training sessions with them in the near future!

Katherina and Sandeep’s guidance truly transformed the Yoga teacher training into a journey of self-discovery. They made sure to give individual attention to each participant, challenging and nurturing us at the same time. Sandeep’s sessions on Hatha Yoga were particularly impressive, striking the perfect balance between being demanding and engaging. They pushed us to explore new depths in our practice.

And let me tell you, the food during the training was absolutely delicious! Each meal was full of flavor and packed with nutrition. It felt like every bite was made with love and intention, providing us with the perfect fuel for our intense training days.

The location of the training in Heimbach was simply breathtaking. Surrounded by serene landscapes, it created the ideal atmosphere for our learning experience. It also served as a beautiful backdrop for moments of introspection and personal growth.

But one of the most memorable moments for many of us was the enchanting fire ceremony. It was more than just a ritual; it was a profound experience of connection and transformation. This ceremony captured the essence of our collective journey and will be a cherished memory for us all.

Once again, a big thanks to Sandeep and Kathrina for making this training unforgettable!
