I didn’t have high expectations because their Instagram didn’t provide much information, but the experience turned out to be truly genuine and amazing. Our group consisted of just 8 people, and we really bonded over time. I felt extremely comfortable with the teachers, staff, and the entire group. The food was incredible too, mostly Indonesian dishes like rice with different versions of tofu or tempeh and vegetables. It was not only a physical journey but also a spiritual one, which was a new experience for me. Learning Hatha from Via was truly fantastic. She taught us to stay calm and speak just enough during our own teachings, without overwhelming people. It was incredibly helpful! However, all the other teachers were also really amazing and eager to share their knowledge of yoga. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic yoga community.

I absolutely didn’t like how Aerial Yoga was taught, it was lacking in every aspect. After only 2 lessons, without even explaining how the class is structured, we were told to create a class ourselves. Out of the 5 sessions, 3 were where we taught our classmates… I really didn’t learn much. I really liked Obi’s teaching method because you can tell that he puts his heart and soul into it.

The place where we practiced Yoga and the props they provided were incredibly unhygienic. The participants who attended the Yin yoga session had a terrible experience. We even had to attend classes in nearby studios despite paying for the course. The instructor listed on the certificate was nowhere to be seen. The food they served was okay, following the satvik diet.

The yoga props provided here were of poor quality and not clean at all. The mats and blocks were the dirtiest and lowest quality I have ever seen at a studio! That’s why I decided to bring my own mat instead of using theirs.

Most of the teachers here don’t really prepare you to become a yoga instructor. They just watch you do flows and rarely give feedback or help with alignment during or after class.

The accommodation was just okay. The sheets and towels were stained and dirty. I also had issues with hot water in the shower and a broken toilet during my first 100 hours. When they finally came to fix the toilet, they randomly put a board on the ceiling to cover up water damage from above. Thankfully, I switched rooms for the second 100 hours and had a better bathroom situation. It’s also worth mentioning that you have to ask to have your room cleaned and sheets/towels changed.

On a positive note, Azmi and Yansha were some of the best teachers I’ve ever had the opportunity to learn from. They were extremely passionate and brought great energy every day! They really made sure we were prepared to become yoga teachers and cared about our progress. I also really enjoyed Obi and Veny, although their classes were more focused on learning as students rather than as potential teachers.

The food here was really good, although if you’re doing the 200-hour program there’s a lot of repetition in the menu. It would be nice to have a higher protein option for breakfast considering the amount of physical activity we engage in each day.

Despite the shortcomings, I still ended up enjoying my time here because of the personal growth I experienced, the wonderful people I met, and the amazing energy from the teachers who genuinely wanted to be there to educate us.

I had an amazing time at Aayaa yoga teacher training in Bali. The shower area was such a great place to relax and unwind. I absolutely loved practicing yoga and meditation outdoors, surrounded by the beautiful greenery and the sounds of birds and lizards singing in the morning. And let’s not forget about the delicious tropical fruits we had for breakfast afterwards.

The teachers were not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also a lot of fun to be around. They really wanted us to truly understand and learn the ins and outs of yoga and meditation. It was exactly what I needed to take a break from the stress of everyday life and learn how to meditate. It was perfect for me.

One of the best parts was getting to meet new people who shared a passion for healthy lifestyles. It was so inspiring. And of course, the food, nature, weather, sun, massages – everything was absolutely amazing!

I had such an incredible time and learned more than I could have ever expected. I want to extend a huge thank you to all the teachers and the Aayaa crew. You guys were incredible. I will definitely be back!

The room was pretty basic, but it got the job done. The meals could use more protein, as sometimes there wasn’t any. The teachers were incredible! I could tell right away that they were all very experienced. I learned so much more than I expected from the 200 hour course. My experience here was fantastic, everyone I met during the course was amazing, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was really good and even though the room was simple, it served its purpose. I would definitely recommend this school!

I found the meditation classes a bit weird. The teacher kept insisting that his guru had turned a man into a stone and even delayed a plane until his friend got on it. He also believed he could control the rain and claimed that mastering certain meditation techniques could bring your pet back from the dead (he mentioned that his friend had done it). Personally, I think these comments were completely out of place for a meditation class and it made it hard for me to connect with the class because he kept repeating them and trying to convince everyone. However, I did enjoy the overall environment and the facilities were great. The yoga sala and my bedroom were both very comfortable. Most of the other teachers were excellent, especially the asthanga, vinyasa, hatha, yin, and aerial yoga instructors. I also really enjoyed the pranayama classes.

The hotel staff was very nice, but I found it hard to keep my space clean. They didn’t provide any toiletries, not even hand soap in the bathroom, and they only gave me one towel, which was personally challenging. But don’t let this discourage you! The course is definitely worth the value. I absolutely loved this course! It was challenging physically at times, but just the right amount. The staff is all so lovely and fantastic! The course was very detailed, and I learned much more than I expected. The food was amazing too! I truly experienced a transformation and I’m incredibly excited to continue my yoga journey.

I had an amazing time that exceeded my expectations. The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about sharing their wisdom. Via, in particular, taught me how to breathe in a way that will stay with me forever. Shanti was a special person who knew her stuff in Philosophy class and beyond. I’m so grateful for every meditation class with Hari, who truly practices what he preaches. Jaggy even called all the way from India to give us invaluable lessons on Ayurveda and Yoga Philosophy. And I can’t forget precious Ida, who led us in singing the Sun Salutation.

The place we stayed at was perfect. The ricefields and natural paths were so beautiful and refreshing, and the colors were stunning. The food was not only delicious, but also healthy, and it was served with such a big smile. This experience was truly beneficial for me, and I gained so much more than I expected. What I loved most was that they stayed true to the traditional foundations of yoga. It’s rare to find a non-Westernized experience of this Eastern art of living, especially in Bali. Your body will thank you for it.

Our teachers Via, Shanti, Ida, and Igor were very warm and open-minded people. They guided us very well and pushed us to our limits. The training woke me up and made me rethink a lot of things. My own practice now looks much more mindful. It’s no longer about faster, higher, and further, but about what is good for me and how can I incorporate this thinking into my teaching.
    Thanks to these wonderful people!

Although the dining and teaching/practice areas and our rooms were relatively clean, the complex as a whole could improve its cleanliness standards. I want to express my gratitude to all the teachers – Via, Igor, Shanti, and Ida – who shared their knowledge and skills with us wholeheartedly, patience, and love. They provided us with the best resources for learning, and it was up to us, the students, to decide how we would use them. I truly appreciate how the course struck a perfect balance between the spiritual aspects of yoga and asana practice. Inspired by our teachers, I truly realized the limitless possibilities that yoga, as a science, offers through practice. Oh, the food was absolutely delicious! I also want to thank the staff, especially Hari, who was always there to assist whenever needed.

When we arrived, we noticed the warning signs right away. I had to hop on the back of a scooter to go to a jewelry store and get some cash for my course payment. The opening ceremony turned out to be a mere 15-minute affair, with none of our instructors showing up and most of the time being spent on paperwork.

I only attended the first day of classes, and boy, were they disorganized! The teachers we had weren’t the ones advertised on their website, and they didn’t even bother introducing themselves properly. The yin yoga teacher seemed like they lacked knowledge and interest in the subject. Our philosophy and anatomy classes felt more like a continuation of a different course offered to another group, leaving us feeling lost and confused. On top of that, the teaching delivery was subpar.

After the first day, I wasted no time in reaching out to Aayaa yoga. I sent them an email immediately, and even followed up with a second email outlining my concerns about the course. I was hoping they were unaware of the issues plaguing their school in Rishikesh, but unfortunately, I haven’t heard back from them yet.

If you’re serious about learning yin yoga, I strongly advise staying away from this school. The food was decent, and the building manager was kind and apologetic about everything that happened.

The Yin Classes Training I received from a Yin Teacher was not proper and definitely not up to standard. Yoga Alliance should be aware of aayayoga Rishikesh for their poor teaching and offering certificates for incomplete courses. Deepak is not qualified to teach Yin class, let alone a 50-hour Teacher Training. It was clear that the course was not up to standards, so I decided to leave on Day 2. To my surprise, the manager still offered me a certificate.

It didn’t seem like a retreat to me.. it felt more like a hostel with a few yoga classes.. and the Shalas are very basic.. they don’t have a spiritual feel.. and the floor is dirty.. the whole place needs a little more love and dedication.. I really enjoyed the food, but as a non-vegetarian, I felt like there was too much rice, veggies, tofu, and tempeh. It tasted amazing, but it made me feel bloated, so I ended up switching to just soups, which were delicious. The best meal was breakfast with fruit, pancakes, and fried bananas. It was so good that I wish I could have stayed there longer or even moved there!

Being taught by people from the real eastern culture was a completely different experience. It’s hard to put into words, but it really opened my heart and made me let go of my ego. It’s something that I think all western people should experience!

The teachers were all amazing in their own unique way, and their presence together was so full of love and beauty. They would make us laugh like crazy, but they were also serious about their job and committed to teaching us and sharing their knowledge. They were always there for us and happy to help.

The multistyle yoga was perfect for me because I could find the style that suited me the best and I really enjoyed teaching it.

Bali, in my opinion, is the most beautiful country with the most beautiful people. The resort had a swimming pool and the rooms were spacious with a beautiful view of the sunset. There were also restaurants, bars, shops, and spas within walking distance, and it was close to the Monkey Forest.

I enrolled in a one week aerial yoga course at Aayaa yoga, but I ended up extending my stay for a whole month! As soon as I got to the school, I felt really welcomed and comfortable. Pabi, the manager, was incredibly sweet and helped me settle in quickly. She made sure I had everything I needed. Later that evening, all the students gathered for a welcome ceremony, and we hit it off right away. The next day, our amazing teacher, Konty, started the aerial yoga classes, and I absolutely fell in love with it. I knew right then that I wanted to stay longer and complete the 200 hour ttc. Luckily, Pabi and the management team were super accommodating and made it happen, despite my last minute decision.

The rest of the classes, like Vinyasa and Yin, taught by Konty, were fantastic too. They were designed for all levels, from beginners to advanced students. Vishu’s Philosophy class was mind-opening, and he’s an excellent teacher. Dwayne’s Anatomy class was incredibly detailed and insightful. He’s also a wonderful teacher.

I can’t express how grateful I am for this experience. The people, the skills I’ve learned, and the sense of family we created together – it’s been amazing. Thank you for everything!

If you’re looking for a relaxing and chill retreat, this probably won’t be a good fit for you. TTC students are involved in everything, so you’ll learn about yoga rather than just attending classes.

We relocated to different accommodations, but the new place was worse than the first. However, Aayaa went above and beyond to make up for the inconveniences. They provided extra blankets, heaters, and even called electricians to fix the hot water issue. Whenever you have a problem, they’ll help you solve it.

Classes always start late, which is great if you struggle to wake up in the morning, but it can be annoying if you’re punctual.

Before applying, make sure to ask for all the details in advance. The information on bookyogaretreats can be a bit misleading regarding what they offer and what’s included.

The place itself is a bit farther from Laxman Jhula and the city vibe, but it’s still within walking distance so it’s not a big problem. Considering the price you pay, don’t expect luxury service or top-notch quality, but it’s still an okay experience.

Before signing up, I considered the TTC program and being with the students was beneficial for me to get insight into what it’s like.

I got a complimentary rafting experience, which was really fun and I did it with everyone else.

The Ashtanga class teacher is amazing!

You can join all the classes that the students attend, so it’s a great opportunity to learn more about yoga, postures, philosophy, and more.

The food was delicious and enjoyable.

Although everyone tried their best to accommodate us, there were times when our restricted diet could not be properly provided for. I understand that it can be difficult to meet everyone’s dietary needs, and I appreciate their efforts to do what they could ?? This retreat exceeded all our expectations. Our teachers, Manish and Kounty, were absolutely incredible. They are highly skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor and adaptability. Manish expertly guided us through the complexities of spiritual and philosophical aspects of yoga, patiently answering all of our questions. And Kounty amazed us with his teaching style, combining yoga with dance, gymnastics, and fitness, all with a beautiful smile, great spirit, and wonderful sense of humor, while still maintaining the seriousness and meticulousness of a yogi. Both teachers were able to adapt their training to our diverse class, accommodating different ages and abilities. We are truly speechless and forever grateful for their guidance.

The operational manager, Pabitra, and business owner, Manish, took great care of us and made sure our requests were met. Our two chefs cooked delicious and wholesome meals, and they served them with a calm and laid-back demeanor. Our accommodation was a charming house, with the owner living next door and just a short distance from the beach, with many lovely restaurants and shops nearby. The house owners were always prompt in their responses and made sure we felt comfortable and well-cared for.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we are so grateful for everyone who came together to make this short yoga journey possible. Our family sends a very grateful namaste to all of you!

I can’t believe the marketing for this place is completely false. It makes me feel guilty to be writing all of this because the teachers were really nice. But I have to admit, it’s manipulative and dishonest coming from the Marketing/Indian owner.

First of all, the teachers were not as amazing as they were made out to be. And don’t even get me started on the accommodations. They were disgusting! I found mold on the pillow and the first towel I used smelled like a wet dog. The shower pressure was terrible, especially if someone else was showering at the same time. And don’t even get me started on the blocked drains. When we asked for help, all they did was unscrew the pipes and put a bucket under the sink. And they never cleaned the pool – it was literally yellow when we left!

The food was okay sometimes, but definitely not the Ayurvedic experience they promised. It was clear they were on a tight budget. They served sugary food for breakfast and we had tofu/tempeh twice a day. It left all of us feeling bloated and gave us stomach pain.

Now let’s talk about the yoga philosophy. It was so hard to follow! Honestly, you could learn more by just reading a book or watching a video. And they advertised a 200-hour course, but in reality, it was more like 150 hours.

The worst part was that half of the yoga classes were no different than going to a normal class. And on top of that, they never adjusted our poses once! And don’t even get me started on the lack of Ayurveda classes. We had to ask about it ten times before they finally gave us a video. It’s ridiculous!

They didn’t even provide a flower or fruit composition for the ceremony, as they claimed. And everything they said on their website about their facilities was basically a bunch of lies.

But on a positive note, I will say that Ubud is an amazing and spiritual place. I’m grateful that the course was held here. The teachers were nice and knowledgeable, so thank you to them! I had fun and enjoyed my time here. However, I don’t think this course really prepares all of us to become teachers. It’s more like a yoga retreat than a yoga teacher training course. It’s a good experience to do for yourself and to continue or start your own spiritual journey. You’ll learn the basics of spirituality, yoga, and Hindu philosophy, and you’ll get to practice yoga every day. But as far as becoming a teacher goes, I don’t think it’s the best option.

I loved everything about Aayaa Yoga in Rishikesh! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the teachers were amazing and supportive. It exceeded all my expectations. Sunil, the manager, was always available and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Aayaa Yoga felt like a home away from home, and it was the perfect place to stay and learn more about yoga.

The accommodation was clean and the food was amazing!
Sunil, the manager, is awesome. He takes care of everything and always makes sure everyone feels comfortable.
Jaggi, who taught anatomy and philosophy, has a ton of knowledge and you can spend hours getting inspired by him.
The Yin Yoga teacher and her friend, who ended up conducting the Yin Yoga class, seemed like they hadn’t prepared for it. As a result, the teaching seemed very unprofessional.

The rooms could have been a bit cleaner. Kursleiter Suniel provided excellent care during our retreat. Thank you very much for your attention, care, and diligence. We also appreciate the great trips we took together. The yoga classes were consistently great. Many thanks to our various yoga teachers who explained everything well and met us where we were in our practice. The food was delicious and very diverse.

Management was poor. They didn’t give us the things that were mentioned in the orientation info pack. For example, they didn’t have a neti pot, there was no assessment, they didn’t provide information on water purification at the waterfall, and they didn’t have an acro yoga class.

We can try to arrange more time for adjustments and teaching practices.

As for the accommodation itself, the view is beautiful. However, the swimming pool is really small and the toilet smells bad. The rooms are old and the bed linens are dirty. The staff is friendly, and the teachers are amazing and inspiring. The philosophy, meditation, and asana classes have great content. The food was also great. The location is close to the main areas and there is a pick-up service available. We have plenty of free time, but the course is tight and intense.

I didn’t like that the yin yoga classes weren’t up to par in terms of standards. The teacher didn’t seem prepared or interested in the subject. The day’s structure mainly focused on doing asanas, without any discussions on philosophy or well-prepared theory lessons. I truly believe that there is so much more to explore and learn about yin yoga, so it’s definitely possible to provide better quality lessons, not just practice.

On the bright side, I did appreciate the management of the facility and the rooms were in good condition. We had access to warm water in the showers and there was wifi available. Additionally, I really enjoyed the Ashtanga yoga teacher and his depth of knowledge. And of course, Rishikesh itself was quite lovely too.

I really wish we had more time to meditate and learn about Ayurveda, but you can only learn so much in 200 hours, so overall it was a great experience 🙂 I’m thrilled that I did this ttc because I met amazing people, the teachers were fantastic, and I would absolutely recommend it to everyone. Oh, and the food was delicious too!

I would say the only downside is the accommodation, it wasn’t very clean. But considering the cost for the course, it’s still a good value. If you’re expecting a 5-star hotel, this isn’t the place.
I didn’t expect much since the price is really good compared to other 200 hours YTTC in Ubud. But I was pleasantly surprised. The instructors are highly competent and helpful in all aspects, particularly Via and Shanti.
I couldn’t ask for anything more. I definitely recommend this place.
Thanks for giving me such a unique experience!

I had the best time at aayaa yoga school for my first yoga teacher training. It was the perfect place for me to deepen my practice and learn everything there is to know about yoga. They taught four different styles, so I was able to discover various approaches and incorporate them into my own classes. The staff at the accommodation were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. They even catered to my gluten-free diet. The location is great too, being close to Ubud but still surrounded by beautiful rice fields. The teachers were fantastic and shared their wisdom and experiences with us. I highly recommend this school for anyone starting their yoga journey.
    Take care,
    Theresa

The wifi gave me consistent problems and wasn’t working, which was really frustrating. I had to go to the cafe down the road if I wanted to study or download a movie for some downtime in my room, or even if I wanted to call my family back home. But, you know what? That’s something that can be fixed, so it doesn’t really matter in the long run.

I came into the retreat with high expectations, and let me tell you, they were totally exceeded! I learned the true meaning of yoga, and it’s not just about poses and asanas (although I definitely put in a lot of hard work in that department!). The philosophy and meditation classes were my absolute favorite because they gave me life-changing knowledge and a new perspective on life that will stay with me forever. My mind and soul feel so much calmer now, and I even saw a huge difference in my body after just three weeks!

As a beginner, I found the course pretty intense, but you definitely get what you pay for. I’m proud to say that I now have confidence in my own self-practice and I’m ready to share everything I’ve learned with others as a certified yoga teacher. And for that, I’m truly grateful to all the teachers at Aayaa yoga. They were all incredibly patient, happy, knowledgeable beyond words, and caring! They even organized a day trip to the waterfalls, which was really cool of them.

Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the food! It was absolutely delicious! I couldn’t wait for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. I just couldn’t get enough of it! I highly recommend coming here because you definitely get more than you bargained for in terms of value for money. Thank you so much to everyone at Aayaa yoga!

I think the facilities should have been cleaner. My room, bathroom, and the yogamats were not in the best state. The food could have been more diverse, as it consisted mostly of white rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Despite informing the hostel that I would arrive in the middle of the night, my room was not ready. As a result, I didn’t have toilet paper, towels, or soap. It was quite unpleasant after traveling for over 24 hours to get there. On the bright side, the program offered good value for money. The teachers were skilled, and the food, location, and accommodation were somewhat what I had expected.

I had only a couple of days in Ubud and really wanted to do some yoga. Luckily, there were some nearby yoga classes, but I was looking for more of a retreat-style experience to fully immerse myself.
Luckily, Manish was incredibly responsive and accommodating. He helped me join a yoga teacher training course, where I could not only attend asana classes but also learn about yoga philosophy and teachings.
The teachers were fantastic and very knowledgeable. Plus, everyone was super friendly, and I had a great time chatting about things off the mat.
This teacher training course is still developing, which made it feel really intimate and allowed for a small group setting. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

I had an amazing experience at this YTT! The accommodation was top-notch and the location in Ubud was perfect. The yoga hall was open, so it felt like I was surrounded by nature the whole time. It didn’t take long for it to feel like home, thanks not only to the accommodation but also to the incredible people I met there. We had so much fun together and had some really deep conversations. The teachers were all fantastic – they were kind, genuine, and always there to help whenever we needed it. I learned so much from them during our yoga practice and they made it really enjoyable too. One thing I loved about this training was how they connected the physical practice with the mental knowledge. It’s so important to really understand your body and yoga as a science, especially if you plan on teaching. Plus, we got to try out different yoga styles, which was a great way to figure out what we liked the most. The teaching style was professional but relaxed, so we always felt comfortable. We all became friends and the positive energy was always there. I honestly enjoyed every aspect of this YTT and I highly recommend it! I’m so grateful that I chose this school – it was the perfect place to meet incredible people and learn so much about myself. And a huge thank you to Via, Shani, Jagjeet, and my classmates – I miss you all already! Sending lots of love! <3

During my training, we were not fortunate as there were construction works right in front of the hotel. The noise was sometimes unpleasant, but it won’t be the case for future trainings.

We didn’t have any desserts for meals. The training being multi-style allows us to discover yoga styles that we may have never practiced before. This makes the training more diverse.

The accommodation in UBUD is peaceful yet close to the center. It’s perfect for relaxing with a massage, enjoying an ice cream, or visiting the market.

I really enjoyed the 50h Aerial YTT that I took part in. The instructor was experienced and structured the course well, allowing us to teach the whole 1h class. We had access to the aerial classroom 24/7, which was great for practicing and preparing for classes.

The communication with Manish, who organized the training, was professional from the beginning. He was quick to reply and made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that they asked for our medical history and food preferences.

When I arrived at the retreat, I was warmly welcomed. Parvitra did an amazing job making us feel like part of the family. She went above and beyond to organize activities for those who wanted them, like booking massages, water rafting, or even tattoo artist sessions. If students had any requests, Manish and Parvitra would do their best to accommodate them.

The place itself was clean, air conditioned, and had good WiFi. It was definitely worth the money.

I joined a group doing their teacher training at the retreat. We had yoga in the morning and evening, and some other activities, but had a lot of free time in the middle of the day. Unfortunately, the temperatures were too high to do anything outside during that time. The yoga sessions were informative and functional, but there was no spiritual guidance, so it felt more like a hotel holiday with some yoga. The yoga studios didn’t create a spiritual atmosphere with no music, scent, or dim lighting. You could arrive on any day. The rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning. Pabrita, who was always available, provided helpful information and advice. She is friendly and really goes out of her way to ensure you have a good experience. The massage was wonderful and rafting was fun. The food was good, but it was disappointing that if one person in the group didn’t like spice, we all had to eat bland food, which is not what you expect in India. As a group, we had a wonderful fire ceremony one evening. Overall, it’s definitely worth the money.

The trainings are still new, but they promptly addressed anything I found unsatisfactory. I really enjoyed this training. The location of the retreat was great and the teachers were experienced and knowledgeable. They had so much to offer. The alignment teacher was fantastic and I learned a lot from him. All the things he taught will be useful for my future as a yoga teacher. The Ashtanga teacher was strict but knowledgeable. His adjustments were great and he guided me deeper into the asanas. The Philosophy teacher was nice and knowledgeable as well. He even took the time to help us solve any problems and communicated with us privately. The food was amazing. They fed me so well! I won’t forget the delicious mushrooms and spinach soy bean milk cream sauce! The staff was friendly and remembered my favorite drink, always preparing it for me after meals. Our Manager Pabitra was simply amazing! I can’t express how impressed I am by her. Managing food for people from different parts of the world with different tastes and appetites every day is not easy. She even spent her holiday helping us and arranging activities for us! I especially want to thank her for holding my hand during the hike. I honestly thought I would fall without her help.

I didn’t love the way things were organized. It felt slightly unclear, like the instructors were surprised when I showed up on my scheduled date for teacher training while everyone else was on a different schedule.

The facility was kind of hard to find because the name “aayaayoga” isn’t actually listed on maps. Making the payment was difficult too, as they didn’t accept cards at the location. Other than that, everything was fine!

I have to give credit to the amazing manager Pabi and the kitchen workers. They were very accommodating at this retreat. The facilities were great and I absolutely loved the food! They even fulfilled my extra tea and special pancake requests 🙂

The yoga instructors were very informative. The morning hatha class was a fantastic way to wake up, and ending the day with meditation sessions was incredibly relaxing. The ashtanga class was challenging in a good way, and Neeraj really helps improve your form, allowing you to go much deeper into poses.

I also had an amazing time rafting and received the best massage I’ve had in the past 6 months in Asia!

The “retreat” takes place in a regular hotel where non-Yoga guests stay. They don’t seem to respect any rest time, which can be quite frustrating. Unfortunately, the common area is just a living room, and there are no outdoor spaces to enjoy. Clearly, this isn’t the ideal place for a yoga retreat or teacher training. Honestly, I don’t think I can endure a whole month there.
