April 1, 2020 at 12:00 amI thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this program and meeting all the lovely people who teach at this school. I would highly recommend it to any of my friends. It was an amazing experience that challenged me and taught me so much. The people who own and run the school are truly kind-hearted individuals who genuinely care about the well-being of their students. The program itself was intense, with early mornings starting at 5 am and long days that ended at 6:30 pm, with breaks for breakfast and lunch. So, be prepared for that! The 300 hr group had our own building for classes, sleeping, and eating, separate from the 200hr group. Our group consisted of just 7 people, which made the experience even more intimate. The accommodation was fantastic, with spacious rooms, private bathrooms, and a balcony.

November 4, 2018 at 12:00 amThe walls in the rooms and bathrooms were covered in peeling paint, leaving white dust all over the place. It was a struggle to open and close the room doors. The staff only cleaned the rooms if we asked them to. The Vinyasa teacher (Deepraj) and the Ashtanga teacher (Ram Negi) were absolutely amazing. And let’s not forget how incredible the philosophy teacher (Mohit) and meditation teacher (Saajan) were.

October 10, 2018 at 12:00 amYou should be prepared for very simple accommodation and facilities during your stay, but don’t worry, it’s all part of the experience! I would recommend bringing along your own towel and maybe even a floor mat for the bathroom.
By the way, if you decide to do the 100 YTT, just keep in mind that you will be taking the same course as the 200 YTT. This means you might miss out on some of the excursions that were advertised, and you may not get to the teaching component of the course. However, what I did get was a fantastic basic foundation in yoga philosophy and practice, which I plan on expanding upon. My only regret is not opting for the 200 YTT instead.
But let me tell you, the quality of the training and instruction from the teachers was absolutely amazing. It genuinely felt like I was part of a big family during my 100 YTT. Every class was an absolute delight. And let’s not forget about the food provided – it was incredible and healthy! Trust me, it was more than enough to fuel us for all the vinyasa yoga and ashtanga we were doing. I’ve never felt more physically fit than I did after my two weeks at RVYS.
Not only do you develop a deeper appreciation for the philosophy of yoga, but you also get to learn about a new meditation technique almost every day. It’s truly an enriching experience.

October 6, 2017 at 12:00 amLet’s keep it positive! This school gives off nothing but good vibes. I absolutely loved my experience here. The teachers instill such incredible expertise and knowledge in their students. It’s left me feeling fully equipped and confident to teach yoga. The small class sizes give you the individual attention you need to advance your own practice. Plus, you learn how to take this knowledge home and apply it to your own teaching practice. The classes are challenging but absolutely amazing. It’s the perfect balance of pushing yourself and learning simultaneously!
