The rooms at the resort were great, but the neighbors could be noisy because sound travels easily in this beautiful location. There was a very social vibe, the food was outstanding, and there was a good variety of classes for everyone. We really enjoyed the steam room and cold plunge. We rented a scooter from the resort and explored the island. Check-in and checkout were seamless, and the resort provided transportation to and from the ferry terminal. There were lots of different nationalities, singles, couples, and groups staying there. The staff kept everything clean and made sure there was plenty of water in the rooms.

The bunk bed in the dorm room was hard, and it would be nice to have separation with curtains. There were regularly cockroaches in the bathroom. It’s a nice place in a quiet location, perfect for unwinding. There’s a variety of courses offered, good food, positive vibes, and friendly people.

The classes were full, and it was not nice at all. You had to constantly touch the people next to you because it was too crowded. I decided to skip some classes and spend more time relaxing by myself for a positive experience. Some of the teachers were a real joke, especially someone named Nadja. She had a super bad vibe, never said hi, got defensive when asked questions, and kept referring to another retreat as better. It was weird since we were all there for the same reason and had paid to be there. Plus, she was always outside smoking cigarettes, which didn’t make a good impression. I did like the location and the food, but the facility had a terrible smell around the houses. It was almost impossible to enjoy the peace because of the stench of shit everywhere.

I recommend that they clean the hammock cushions more often because the smell is starting to get pretty bad. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature, so it would be a shame for it to be ruined by a stinky hammock.

The location feels like you’re at the edge of the world – it’s amazing! However, sometimes it can be challenging because the nearest village is a bit far and you need to take a taxi (unless you can drive the scooter). And let me tell you, taxis are quite expensive, just like in all Thai islands.

When you’re booking, I recommend going for a private accommodation. The dorms are always crowded with 5-6 people sharing a small space and the center is always packed. So, for some privacy, a private room is the better option. This may just be one of the best retreats ever! Wonderland is situated in the lush forest and offers access to high quality facilities – always clean and super comfortable, including an amazing pool, sauna, and spa. And let me tell you, the food is absolutely delicious – the most amazing vegan food you can think of!

The instructors are very professional, offering different levels and styles of yoga and meditation. This place truly lives up to its name – it is indeed a Wonderland and a healing space for anyone in search of peace, connection, and serenity.

If you stay longer than a week at Wonderland, some workshops might repeat a bit. It would be awesome to see some tiny changes in the schedule or have something slightly different added. But you can always do the things you really liked again, or just relax and skip some. When I first booked 7 days at Wonderland, I ended up extending my stay by 4 more days. It’s truly a magical place where you can attend up to 6 workshops a day, enjoy the pool and sauna, and meet some incredible people. The instructors are all amazing, and some are truly inspiring. I opted for a private room, which was fantastic. They clean it daily and ensure you have enough water each day. The food is absolutely delicious – I even had the best falafel of my life! I wish I could have stayed even longer, but I will definitely be returning.

The resort was pretty full by the end of my stay. The yoga classes got very crowded, so you couldn’t move without constantly making sure you wouldn’t hit someone… We also ran out of mats and pillows a few times. But I loved my stay there, it’s no surprise that people keep going back! I’m a beginner in yoga and I never felt lost or anything, because the different teachers always make sure to offer variations of every pose so that everyone can participate. My week there was perfect. I learned so much about yoga and myself.

I loved that there were always so many different classes throughout the day (yoga, meditation, lectures, etc).

I stayed in a dorm, and it was so clean. I loved it.

The food was really good too. Every day, I was excited to see what dinner was going to be.

There were many communal areas to meet people, and also ample space to be by yourself if you just want to relax.

And I loved the water refill stations! No need for anyone to buy plastic bottles.

Meal times are from 9am to 1pm for breakfast and lunch, and dinner is from 6pm to 8pm. I would suggest extending the times by an hour in both cases. I would also add another class between 12pm and 3pm, as there was usually nothing scheduled during that time. There is a wide variety of classes available, such as aromatherapy, sound healing, vipassana meditation, loving-kindness meditation, hatha yoga, and more. The food is delicious, the decor is beautiful, and everything is meticulously planned. The teachers are very professional and the rooms are cleaned daily.

It’s super busy and crowded here. Feels more like a resort with classes than a retreat. The atmosphere isn’t as friendly as most retreats. You won’t see much improvement in your yoga here since the teachers don’t offer feedback or guidance, but the classes are fun. The teachers and western staff could be warmer and friendlier. The food is fantastic, and there are plenty of classes each day. The whole place is absolutely stunning!

I only had an issue with the general quality of the yoga classes. Out of the 14 classes I took, I felt that only 3 were taught by top-notch instructors. Most instructors would demonstrate a pose without explaining how to properly do it. There were hardly any cues about anatomy or breath work, so it was difficult to stay present. I wish the instructors paid more attention to students instead of just holding poses themselves. As a certified yoga instructor, I felt that the classes lacked engagement and energy.

I only received assistance once throughout the whole week, and it was when a teacher touched me without asking first. Some reviews described the classes as beginner style, but those classes actually require more guidance than intermediate ones to make sure poses are done correctly. I wish Wonderland had higher standards for the quality of classes, with instructors like Amber or Raj teaching more frequently. Ewa’s Reiki session was fantastic and well worth the money. The food was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed Raj’s Kundalini and Amber’s Flow classes. I also liked David’s Hatha stretch and Nadja’s meditation. All the specials were a must-try and left me with a wonderful spiritual experience. The staff was amazing, and the sauna was a highlight.

In general, I really enjoyed the retreat and would definitely do it again. The meditations and special classes alone made it worthwhile. I do miss the pool, though!

One instructor led the healing class really well and I think she excels as a mindfulness coach rather than a yoga/pilates instructor. Unfortunately, I was disappointed because there was no harmony in the class and the pilates flow sequence was far from how it should have been. For example, we began with pilates 100s before anything else, and no mention of breath was made at all.

On top of that, myself and another girl in my dorm ended up with food poisoning from dinner, which was a real downer. It seemed like only the two of us were affected though. However, the location itself is lovely and perfect for relaxation. Everyone was friendly and you get to meet a lot of people.

The three instructors I wanted to review are actually not listed. Two of them conducted a wonderful class that was well-structured. I appreciated the challenge in the flow, but overall it felt like Yoga for beginners, just a heads up.

I observed that most of the people attending were very young and I didn’t find it particularly friendly, which is unusual in a yoga retreat. The staff and instructors were fantastic, but I wonder how it would have been if I was an absolute beginner since most classes were at an intermediate and beyond level. If you’ve never done yoga before, this might not be the place for you. You can choose to join lots of classes and activities every day. The facilities are really well looked after in a beautiful setting. There is a real range of classes available. The room is very nice. It’s a really special place.

I noticed some things missing in the dorm: each bed didn’t have a plug and reading light, and the metal bunk beds were noisy. If you moved, you risked waking up the person below you. Everything else was great though! The classes were top-notch with a schedule of 1 morning meditation and 2 morning yoga classes. In the afternoon, there was 1 more meditation class and 1 more yoga class. You have the freedom to plan your day how you want. There are breaks between 11:30 and 15:00 where you can relax by the pool, in the hammam, or go for a scooter/bike ride. Food is served from 9-13:00 and 18:00-20:00, but you can order a smoothie or try a nearby restaurant. The vegan food is delicious, the hammam is fantastic, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

The meditation sessions take some getting used to if you’re used to meditating for a max of 25 minutes in everyday life. They can get pretty long in the retreat, so it’s a challenge not to doze off every time. Unfortunately, I was sick for the first two days, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to heal. They took care of me and I was able to move to a private room at short notice. I think I’ve never recovered so quickly before. The food was simply delicious and always fresh! The yoga sessions were amazing, I could really let go. But because of my illness, I was only able to attend 2 classes. There’s definitely a huge selection of yoga classes and I’m sure there’s something for everyone there 🙂 The place itself is simply magical. So many wonderful people come together there and you feel comfortable right from the first second!

The resort isn’t by the beach and it costs about 150-200 per person to take a taxi there. (But they do offer free beach trips once in a while.) That’s the only thing I didn’t like! But honestly, I couldn’t find anything else negative to say. I really loved it there!

The atmosphere is so healing, relaxed, and full of love. It was so easy to let go of stress while I was there! Everyone was incredibly friendly, from the reception staff to the restaurant workers, cleaners, masseuses, most of the teachers, and the other guests. I met so many amazing people during my stay and even stayed in touch with some after I left. I stayed in a dorm with 4 people and everyone was really respectful. The rooms and common areas were all super clean and the food was delicious!

I also loved all the different workshops, yoga and meditation classes, and the options to go to the beach or take guided hikes to waterfalls. I was only there for a week, but I definitely would have stayed longer if I could have!

Despite the great food and atmosphere, I don’t feel comfortable recommending this place to friends due to safety concerns. They need to address the issue of staff stealing from guests.

There was flooding in the dormitory, so we had to escape through the window at 4am. Sadly, many of my clothes got ruined.

I caught a “virus” or food poisoning and was sick for three days. I couldn’t eat anything. The atmosphere was serene, people were smiling, and we had outdoor activities twice a week.

The breakfast is tasty, but it’s a bit late for early risers (starting at 9am). The dinner is delicious and different every day.

The yoga lessons are great and they also offer meditation.

Most yoga classes focus heavily on pure asana or fitness, even if they’re labeled as Level 1. I just prefer other types of yoga. Unfortunately, Wonderland didn’t offer Sound healing, Wim Hof, or Mantra Chanting workshops while I was there. Make sure to check the schedule before you come! Wonderland is such a beautiful place to be!

I had a great time and now feel purified, relaxed, and connected to my inner peace. I really enjoyed starting my day with Yaron’s daily Vipassana Meditations. It’s the best way to kick off your morning. Raj’s Kundalini Hatha classes were fantastic too. He has such deep knowledge and wisdom. Liz’s Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy workshop was also a highlight for me. The women’s circle with Amor was lovely, and Stephanie’s classes were very good as well.

And let’s not forget about the delicious food! Enjoy your time in paradise! ❤️

I felt very comfortable in Wonderland. The people were very nice, the food is excellent. It was also clean and the yoga classes were great. Personally, Yin Yoga wasn’t a big challenge for me, but the classes are suitable for beginners. I extended my stay because I felt so good, and it was no problem at all – the staff are very nice. The location is a bit hard to reach, but if you have a scooter it’s easier, otherwise you can order a taxi from the hotel.

We were there for four days. On the last night, we were hit with the worst stomach virus that left us unable to move. We suffered from fever, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting for three days. It felt like both a waste of money and a threat to our health. We feel cheated that we paid for a retreat only to fall ill instead of feeling rejuvenated. It’s tough to leave a negative review, but after feeling so terrible, we feel compelled to warn others. Despite our experience, the yoga classes were enjoyable and the teachers were great.

I arrived in October for an eight day retreat. The area was beautiful, green, and inviting, the facilities were great, and the yoga teachers were very experienced. But the thing that made it a wonderland was the togetherness atmosphere. At the buffet restaurant, long tables allowed you to meet like-minded people from all around the world. Conversations became deep and quickly you developed a sense of belonging. When I left, I had some great new connections and was trying to figure out how to bring the benefits of Wonderland into my daily life at home.

I spent 7 nights in the dorm room in Wonderland. It wasn’t the best dorm I’ve stayed in, but honestly, you’re only there to sleep anyway. During the day, there are lots of classes, like different types of yoga and meditation styles, lectures, and cool activities such as a hike to a waterfall or a sunset tour. The best part is, you get to choose what you want to do. If you just want to chill, you can hang out at the pool, hit the sauna, or treat yourself to a massage.

And let’s talk about the food – it’s amazing! I’m usually a vegetarian, and they had a whole vegan buffet that was like heaven for me. Everything was so delicious.

I overheard some people saying they might come back every year now, and honestly, I’m totally on board with that.

The vegan buffet is fantastic and you can try a variety of international dishes. The laundry service is affordable and dependable. They offer different types of meditations and yoga classes, as well as talks, movies, and fire nights. You can enjoy the sauna, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, and lounging areas. They also offer complimentary trips to hike in the jungle and go to the beach. You can try out various holistic treatments and, of course, Thai Massage. This place is truly a wonderland, I highly recommend visiting.

The evening programs at Wonderland were a bit all over the place, with eclectic but haphazard topics. The schedules were easy to follow, but some of the topics were vague. They had visiting instructors who shared their experiences, some more formally than others. I thought about joining in, but without more information, I would have felt uncomfortable entering and possibly leaving awkwardly.

Wonderland was a lovely place to relax, heal, and mingle with like-minded people. Some days had structured classes, while others were perfect for eating, chatting, and lounging by the pool. I even got a massage and hung out in various spots around the resort. I met others who had returned to Wonderland, and I stayed there the entire trip, content with the food and social vibe. The meals were fresh and varied, introducing me to a new way of eating that I’ve taken home with me.

I did both and they were awesome, but not exactly what you’d think based on the names. It’s a truly magical place. I spent 4 days there and felt more relaxed and restored than I would at a typical beach resort. The schedule is packed with activities so everyone can find something they like. Unfortunately, the welcome at the retreat was a letdown. We didn’t receive any information about how things worked, and we missed out on the welcome drink and yoga consultation that were promised when we booked. A quick chat about the classes and our goals, as well as any injuries, would have made a huge difference. It was also awkward having to renegotiate for our daily smoothie each day.

Aly and Lauren were fantastic instructors, with their warm welcomes and Lauren’s willingness to adapt postures and give feedback. However, some other teachers seemed unfriendly and full of ego, which made the atmosphere cold and unenthusiastic.

There were also issues with overcrowded classes, leaving some people unable to attend every session they wanted. Additionally, there was a lack of communication when a hike was cancelled due to weather.

Despite these disappointments, the site itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and the food was delicious.

The center is actually located on flat grounds, not on a cute mountain like expected. It’s best to have a scooter to explore the area. The low point of my experience at Wonderland was getting COVID. My Day 1 roommate, who was positive for COVID, was told to keep going to classes and act normal. She didn’t self-isolate even though she had symptoms like coughing and a fever. I spent the night in the dorm room with her, and it wasn’t surprising that I got COVID 5 days later. Wonderland believes everyone is getting exposed all the time, but I hadn’t caught COVID in 2 years until that night. I isolated myself for 5 days to limit exposure to others because it’s the right thing to do in my culture. I wish I had been told about my roommate so I could have moved to a private room and avoided exposure.

I stayed at Wonderland for several weeks to do yoga, meditation, and other sessions to rest and refocus after personal challenges. I tried not to have any expectations and was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned in 3 weeks. I didn’t have much experience with yoga and meditation before, but I tried everything they offered. The variety of classes changed every day, and I tried at least 30 new things. I enjoyed almost everything, and some meditation sessions gave me new insights that I took home with me.

I found it easy to connect with everyone at Wonderland and made many new friends. The instructors, facilitators, and staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the great experience. I’m not sure when I can come back, but I will, and next time I’ll bring my daughter. There were other kids there, and she will love the great pool.

My boyfriend and I visited Wonderland for the first time in Koh Phangan and we’re telling everyone about our experience. The yoga classes here last an hour and a half and are suitable for all levels. I was amazed at how much I improved in just one week, despite having practiced yoga for many years. There are various yoga teachers and styles to choose from, so if one doesn’t work for you, there are plenty of other options. With multiple yoga and meditation classes offered daily, this place went above and beyond our expectations. My boyfriend only tagged along because I love yoga, but by the end of the week, he was doing handstands! The vegan buffet for brunch and dinner was not only tasty but also healthy, a nice change from the typical Thai food. The 6er dorms are okay but not luxurious. The beds wobble and squeak; there is only the main room light, so you easily disturb each other; there are no closets, clothes always lie in the backpack on the floor; bed curtains would be nice for some privacy, a shelf by the bed to put things on would also be useful. All of this was almost irrelevant to me in the first week because everything else was great, but unfortunately it got very crowded in Wonderland in my second week… we squeezed over 40 people into the Shala, which was definitely not fun anymore. If you were late, you couldn’t participate. The relaxed family atmosphere was lost at meal times. Queuing, waiting, or even not getting any food. Drinks were empty late at night, no towels left, etc… Very sad, the first week was truly amazing… The quiet jungle location, beautifully designed, diverse weekly program> great for trying out new things, a casual and friendly atmosphere, a very mixed audience, the steam sauna, everything was well-maintained and clean, the buffet is really great.

The yoga class level depends on the participants, mostly beginners, so it wasn’t very ‘advanced’. Adding a class specifically for intermediate yogis would be lovely. I absolutely adored Wonderland. The food was incredible – a vegan buffet for every meal. I’m at a loss for words about how amazing it was. Plus, you get a complimentary shake or coconut every day, both of which are phenomenal. There’s unlimited coffee with almond or coconut milk, and a self-serve tea station. The camp itself is stunning and the people radiate peaceful and positive energy. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot from the meditation classes and the other classes were also top-notch. I can’t stop raving about how much I loved it.

Some of the bedding had stains and looked old. When I asked the reception staff about the content in the classes, they didn’t know much. The television didn’t work for my entire stay. Wonderland has a great vibe and energy overall. The teachers and staff are amazing and very friendly. The food is top quality. I hope the place can only get better with time and a few tweaks.

My time at Wonderland completely transformed me. People from all walks of life come here for different reasons and find a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere. It’s a safe space where you can truly heal. During my stay, I was able to let go of a lot and confront some limiting beliefs I had about myself. Plus, the food here is amazing (a major selling point for me!). The Sauna and cold plunge pool were also incredible.

There are so many classes to choose from – different yoga styles, meditation techniques, breath work approaches – it’s a dream for anyone looking to deepen their practice. I loved it here so much that I even extended my stay. Koh Phangan truly is a magical island and paradise on earth.

After my two weeks at Wonderland, I’ve decided to come back to the island in 3 weeks to start my Yoga Teacher Training. I can’t wait to continue my journey and growth in this beautiful place.

The only disappointing thing was the accommodation. It’s basic – there’s not even a shelf near the bed for storage. The sink leaks, the shower is terrible, and the shower holder is broken. Both toilets need hand soap. Despite all that, I’d still come back in a heartbeat because everything else is top-notch. Everyone loved the place. Almost everything was superb. The staff is amazing, the classes exceeded my expectations, and the food was phenomenal. They should definitely release a wonderland cookbook – it would be a bestseller.

I didn’t really enjoy the dancing options for the evening. I would have preferred a Yin Yoga class or more meditation at 8pm instead of something more upbeat. However, other people seemed to really like that time slot. I can’t praise this retreat enough – and I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first. I’ve been practicing yoga for a few years, but I had never been on a retreat before. The timing and location worked out perfectly after a work trip, and I’m so glad I took a chance on this place. From the moment I arrived (and was handed a welcome drink while checking in), I felt right at home. Meeting people from all over the world at mealtimes was a delight, but I also enjoyed lounging in a hammock with a good book or doing some journal writing by the pool in between activities. Not every yoga style or instructor was my cup of tea, but it was great to try new things like Aerial Yoga (which I loved) and Laughter Yoga (weird, but glad I gave it a shot). The location was perfect – secluded yet with easy access to beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, and stunning mountain views. The dorm-style rooms were cozy and the beds were surprisingly soft and comfy. I highly recommend getting a Thai massage – I wish I had done it every day! I cherished every moment, and it was so fitting that it started pouring rain the moment I drove away. Getting to Koh Phangan can be a bit challenging with flights, ferries, and buses, but if I ever have the chance to go back, I definitely will. Amazing job, Wonderland team!

It’s a bit of a hassle to go from Ko Samui airport to your island by taking a transfer and ferry. However, the center has a great atmosphere and really helps to relax.

I think they should update the instructors list. I particularly enjoyed Selina who taught us Yin Yoga and Chakra Yoga. There was also an instructor who taught Kundalini yoga on Wednesday, December 4th afternoon.

All the yoga instructors are very professional and we learned a lot from them. We always feel the benefits after each session. The only downside is that some sessions can get pretty crowded.

I have two constructive criticisms. First, I think the yoga equipment should be washed and cleaned daily because they all smelled quite bad. Second, the mattresses are so hard that it was painful to sleep on them. I believe adding a mattress topper would help. However, on the bright side, the staff was very accommodating and brought me extra blankets to sleep on. I absolutely loved everything about this place! Wonderland truly amazes with something for every holiday style. Need to relax and unwind? They’ve got you covered with a beautiful pool, sauna, massages, delicious vegan food, coconuts, tranquil surroundings, yin yoga, and meditation. I highly recommend planning at least a week there, as there’s so much to experience. You may find yourself extending your stay – it’s that hard to leave!

Feeling more active? Hop on one of their bicycles or scooters to explore the island, visit beautiful beaches, or simply enjoy the nature. You can also snorkel by KohMa. While I ventured outside Wonderland for Ashtanga classes, beginners will find a variety of yoga styles and excellent guidance from different teachers each day.

For a deeper dive, try the ice bath pranayama classes to work on breathing techniques and breath retention. But the ultimate experience for me was The Inner Walk. It opened my eyes to things I had never known before and provided insights on mindfulness that finally started to make sense. Thank you, Wonderland, for an unforgettable experience!

Sometimes, they have to switch schedules last minute or cancel a class due to contracting with instructors all over the island. But hey, those things can happen anywhere, right?

The construction caused by the rain storms was a bit disruptive, but hey, it’s all part of the experience. Wonderland is a great retreat with an amazing staff that takes care of everything you need.

You can drop in any day for yoga, meditation, or other sessions. It may not allow you to build skills over time, but it’s a great way to explore different styles and instructors.

I stayed in a private room with one other person and it was perfect. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was nice, and there was AC. Each room comes with a hammock on the porch or balcony, which we definitely took advantage of.

The food was amazing! I was looking for vegan options and they completely exceeded my expectations.

They also offer daily smoothies or coconuts, as well as Reiki and massage treatments for additional fees. The staff can help you with renting motorbikes, booking taxis, or arranging island tours.

Despite arriving after some storms, the facilities were lovely. The pool and one set of bathrooms were temporarily out of commission, but they were quickly fixed.

If you’re planning a 4-day retreat, book for 8 days. And if you’re booking for 8 days, why not stay longer? It’s totally worth it!

Yin and restorative yoga are fantastic here, but if you’re looking for power or vinyasa classes, this may not be the place for you. Out of the 5 days I was there, only one class was actually level 2 or challenging. Most of the classes were pretty mellow.

I took 10 yoga classes and only two of them included hip openers, which I really need. None of the teachers used a vinyasa sequence where you move with each breath. The teachers were knowledgeable, but they tended to pace the class more slowly and ramble a bit.

On the bright side, the facilities, staff, food, and schedule were excellent. It’s a real treat to be on such beautiful premises. The teachers were knowledgeable and really took their classes seriously.

Some yoga classes are very basic. I expected a few more classes above the level +1. The dorms are ok, but having 6 people is a bit too much, especially with only one shower. The food is amazing, and the people are amazing! I booked for only 3 nights but ended up extending for a few more. I love the meditation with Ali and the daily coconut water!

There isn’t much to complain about here! There are lots of insects, it’s like a jungle. One girl found two huge spiders in her bathroom. The location is right in the middle of the island, so there’s no great view. The common area stops playing music at 10pm and you can’t play cards there. They don’t have pool toys which is a bummer 🙁 Some of the yoga classes are slow and have a plodding pace. The lockers in the dorms aren’t big enough for backpacks. But let’s talk about those banana pancakes – they are addictive! I’ll definitely come back just for them. The dorms are modern and spotless, with two bathrooms. There are hammocks and lounge beds everywhere, which is so relaxing. The sauna and ice pool are amazing! The pool is always the perfect temperature and cleaned daily. There are plug sockets near each bed. The common areas are cozy and welcoming. The staff is kind and helpful, and the instructors are super friendly. The food is delicious, fresh, and varied. The classes are solid and diverse (the improv contact class was hilarious). Doing a detox here was an eye-opening experience 😉 You can easily and cheaply rent a scooter from reception. It’s so easy to lose track of time in this peaceful sanctuary!

No one showed up for class on Friday and there was no water in the pool near the sauna. You live in a bubble of peace and harmony where everything is balanced. You can choose whatever you want at your leisure and that’s great.

I especially liked the attentive way one of the staff members approached me and addressed my issue. The accommodation was cheap, so it was very basic (but I already knew that.. shared room). The classes were suitable for everyone, even beginners who were trying it for the first time. So, really great! The reviews about the food were not lying or exaggerating. EXCELLENT!! If you’ve never been to a yoga retreat but know your way around a basic asana or just want to do your own thing without being tied down to a specific yoga system, then this retreat is perfect for you. You’ll have the opportunity to choose from three classes a day taught by top-notch teachers, along with two meditation sessions, interesting lectures, and evening activities. With so much on offer, you can stay for however long you like.

Let me tell you, the vegan food is top-notch. It’s delicious, with lots of choices and always fresh. I swear, I wanted to snatch the chef and bring them home with me.

I wasn’t too excited about some of the evening workshops at the yoga retreat. I wish there had been more variety, like adding some Iyengar yoga.

I decided to get out of my comfort zone and book this yoga retreat at Wonderland after feeling a bit down. I wanted to rediscover my love for yoga and give meditation another shot. It took some courage, but I’m so happy I chose Wonderland Healing Centre. The value for money is amazing, with delicious vegan meals served three times a day. My private room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy. There’s a free massage included, plenty of classes to keep you busy, and relaxation time for yourself out in the sun or with a good book. The restaurant area is a nice spot to unwind or sneak in a nap.

I really liked the yoga instructors, especially Naama in Wild Organic Yoga and Camilla in Yin Yoga. The SOMA breathing yoga workshop and Yoga Nidra classes were also highlights.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I ended up extending it for almost a week. (I had initially booked for 3 nights).

There are different classes available all day long. It’s not just about doing yoga or other activities, the teachers also provide lots of explanations so you can learn a lot too. The food is the best I’ve ever had in a hotel, fresh and super healthy. It’s a perfect place to be alone if you want some time to yourself. I wish the sea were closer (it takes 15mins by cab and 150/200baht). It would be nice if there was a free shuttle to the beach on a fixed time. More diversity on meditation would be interesting as well. The daily program gets repetitive if you stay longer. But it’s not a big deal if you are not too experienced. The place has great energy and is wonderful in green. You can feel that the details have been thought out. I stayed in the dorm for 11 nights – it was very clean, with bed sheets and towels changing every day. The staff is sweet and helpful. The food is amazing. All of the yoga teachers were nice, and it was good to experience different styles.

My only complaint about the retreat was the sleeping situation. In all the other hostels I stayed at in Thailand, the dorm beds had curtains for a bit of privacy and were much more comfortable. It seemed ironic to me that the focus of our yoga and meditation work was on body alignment and self-care, yet we slept on the most uncomfortable beds ever. If they fix that in the dorms, it would be a nearly perfect experience!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I got out of this retreat. I met incredible people, enjoyed delicious food, and did great yoga. The teachers were beginner-friendly, but there were also more advanced participants who seemed to have a good time. The retreat offers a pool and steam room, and you have the option to attend all the classes or do your own thing. The energy there is fantastic and I had a blast!

My bathroom didn’t smell great, but I was ready for it from reading reviews. The room I stayed in was big with a nice pool view. They had a kettle and fridge with free water. Free pick up and drop off to the ferry was convenient. The food was delicious and you could help yourself to tea, coffee, and water anytime. There was plenty of free water available too. I would have liked maybe a more in-depth approach (for example, a structured welcome in terms of objectives, reflection, etc.). We are left to ourselves a lot (maybe that’s what some people want), although we can open up and discuss in some activities. It’s a very personal approach and it’s up to each individual… Also, I didn’t like Koh Pha-ngan much… The food is excellent. Great atmosphere and the scenery is awesome. Good pace of activities. You meet lots of people from everywhere. I liked the variety of yoga styles, depending on the teachers.

The reception staff was friendly, but they lacked decision-making authority and had to email the owners and wait for a response, even though they were right there. I found that to be strange and too closed off.

This place has a magical atmosphere. The food is amazing, the schedule has a variety of activities, and the teachers are excellent in yoga and meditation. But what really makes this place special is the people. The connections, the shared experiences, the communal meals – it’s all about the community here. Trust me, you should definitely book a room for as long as possible. Once you’re here, you won’t ever want to leave.

I had an amazing experience spending 22 days at the beautiful Resort. Meeting people from all over the world made the place feel special and magical. Every day, we shared unforgettable experiences in a simple and harmonious way. The Community here offers the best Yoga, meditation classes, Detox programmes, Reiki, vegan food, and a good selection of international music. I laughed, I cried, I spent several hours in silence, chilled out by the pool, enjoyed the steam room, and cultivated my inner peace, self-love, forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, joy, and kindness deeply.

I didn’t plan this program personally as I was promised. The yoga classes were meant for beginners, but the styles varied a lot. I ended up in one of the “not so good” rooms and felt a bit disappointed since it didn’t have a terrace, seating area, or the promised view. The room would’ve been fine for a shorter stay. So, if you’re expecting to advance in yoga or to find a “real” yoga school, this probably isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re looking for a resort to eat healthy, dip your toes into spirituality, and relax, I would recommend this place. The food was excellent, the rooms were clean, the staff was mostly friendly, and the surroundings and pool area were nice. It would be a great experience for someone with little or no yoga experience. The meditation classes were good, and some of the yoga instructors seemed really experienced.

I found a criticism that the level of yoga offered was too intense. Even though I tried Level 1 yoga, I still found it a bit hard on my body due to my existing issues. There weren’t enough alternative poses for people with limitations, and some instructors should have asked about any issues or pregnancy in the class.

It would be helpful if someone explained how the retreat works during check-in, especially for first-timers like my son and me. Despite these points, we both loved the facilities, food, instructors, and accommodation – my son was especially worried about having enough to eat!

We enjoyed every minute and wished our stay didn’t go by so quickly. We’re definitely planning on coming back at the end of the year. I highly recommend Wonderland Yoga Retreat for anyone looking for a holistic experience with yoga, philosophy, meditation, and lifestyle choices to kickstart their transformation.

The hot water in the bathroom wasn’t working well so I decided to move from a dorm room to a private one. There were too many girls in one room which made it feel cramped, the ventilation was poor, the AC wasn’t working properly, and there wasn’t enough storage space for my belongings so I had to put them on the floor. The beds were too high for the upper level guest and they were noisy, which meant I had to wake my neighbor below every time I wanted to go to the bathroom at night.

I also didn’t like the stray dogs on the island, especially the ones that intruded the place. However, I did enjoy the friendliness of everyone and the family-like spirit. The premises were wonderful, well-designed and maintained, clean and fresh. The owner paid attention to many details that concerned solo travelers.

The rooms at the hostel were clean and spacious with two toilets for the six people dorm, which is perfect. However, I believe that concrete western style houses are the wrong choice for a tropical climate because they cause energy consumption to rise above acceptable levels. We had to use the air conditioning every night. Despite that, everything was good. I was actually looking for a more simple and peaceful place, but Wonderland had a more vacation-like atmosphere which was still very enjoyable. The yoga classes were challenging, but even beginners could access them easily.

I loved the fabulous vegan food, even though I’m not a vegetarian. The smoothies were also nice. Even though I wasn’t on detox, I felt my digestive system improve during my stay.

Every day, the yoga classes had different levels. The instructors were encouraging and knowledgeable, eager to answer any questions we had.

Occasionally, they organized trips to the beaches. I only went once, and the sunset was breathtaking.

I really enjoyed the restaurant area. People chilled out, made friends, and also enjoyed their alone time. There was a special event every evening, which was a great way to interact with people in different ways than just chatting.

While I was there, the center experienced major flooding and many people lost all or most of their personal items. Some services, including the pool, were also affected and out of use for the entire time.

It’s disappointing that no token of goodwill or discounts were given to those customers who had a negative experience or suffered personal losses as a result.

Unfortunately, the dorm wasn’t as comfortable as I expected. There was no shelving or lights on the top bunks, which made it very inconvenient and uncomfortable for long stays. On the bright side, the food and restaurant area was the heart of wonderland for me – a great, comfortable meeting hub with excellent food and good coffee every day. The variety of yoga and meditation classes was also really good.

Yoga classes are always bustling and may not be the best fit for beginners or those with physical limitations. The instructors don’t always offer modifications for injuries or less able bodies. As an experienced yoga teacher, I’ve noticed that some of the teaching seems geared towards advanced students, which could be risky for newbies. However, the community vibe is strong, and the buffet-style meals offer a nice variety, accommodating food allergies. Overall, the classes are diverse and well-taught, but may not be the best choice for beginners.

There were so many people at this retreat that the classes always packed. I would have preferred smaller classes with fewer people. The beds were quite hard, but we discovered that this is standard in Thailand. Despite the amount we spent, I would have liked a softer mattress. From check-in to check-out, they treated us like VIPs. Everyone was so nice. The food, served buffet style, was always delicious and healthy. 1. I think Wonderland should clarify that this retreat is very “hands off” in terms of facilitation. I only interacted with staff if I had a question, not much else.

    2. Having multiple yoga instructors was nice, but since none of them lived on site and there were so many, it was hard to connect with them. I was surprised by the number of instructors, and I never had the same one twice. However, I liked that each had their own specialty classes.

    3. Most pictures show yoga in a beautiful indoor space at Wonderland. I chose this retreat because of that indoor space I saw in the pictures. When I arrived, the room was under renovation (with loud construction) and most classes were outside. This should have been mentioned on the website so guests could plan accordingly.

    4. It was mentioned that we were paying high season prices during low season in Thailand. Prices should be made public so guests know beforehand.

I had a great time at Wonderland. The facility is beautiful, set in the jungle with mountains and a stream nearby. The facilities are new and well-maintained, making even dorm rooms feel like a good value. The food was amazing – a highlight for many guests. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the steam room was great! Plus, the wifi was reliable if you need to work while there. I left feeling relaxed and will definitely recommend it to others!

The location. It was pretty close to the highway so you could clearly feel the exhaust fumes. The next beach is also quite far; it’s an adventure to get there on foot. The so-called secret beach was also quite shallow and littered.

Point number two. The loud music or constant noise in the restaurant. Maybe young hip people today need that. However, the retreat character was missing. Each of the 6 teachers had their own individual style and helped me progress with their tips. I was most impressed by Alon. His physically emphasized, scientific style gave Yoga the grounding depth it deserves. Moreover, the food was extremely varied and healthy.

I highly recommend the Wonderland stay to everyone, whether you’re seeking a full 7-hour yoga and meditation program or just want to relax by the pool. It’s suitable for all yoga levels, from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners. The food is amazing with a buffet spread, and the ladies at the reception are incredibly pleasant and helpful. Wonderland exudes love and positive energy, nestled in the local jungle with plenty of green trees, a little river, and over 100 serene spots to meditate. There are hammocks, little shalas, and a nice pool. I strongly suggest giving it a try! Despite my initial expectations, the guests at Wonderland were not what I anticipated – they were all lovely, educated people to interact with during my 30-day stay. The location is a hidden gem a bit out of town, but taxis are affordable for exploring the shops, night markets, and secret beach. Villas for two are beautiful, but shared accommodations in the dorms are also clean, comfortable, and have plenty of cold water in the fridge. I appreciated being able to refill my water bottle with fresh, cold water at any corner in Wonderland. Everything you need for yoga and meditation is provided, including mats, blocks, belts, and cushions. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back soon.

I didn’t like the occasional noise from kids running around and screaming, and you could hear the kitchen in the meditation room. But thankfully, it didn’t happen often! I really enjoyed being super comfortable there while traveling alone. The food, yoga, and pilates classes were excellent. The staff was very polite, helpful, and spoke great English. The massages were also amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

The vegan buffets lacked the best ingredient – avocado. I loved Melissa’s sound healing, inner dance, and yin yoga sessions. The pool and herbal sauna were fantastic. The food was incredible! The dorm beds were comfy. They keep the site well maintained and everything is spotless. It’s a great value overall.
