“What to Expect: Kes Kennard, the one and only, will lead the guided class every week. He’ll have assistance from Catrin and his wife Teresa in the Mysore style. Kes’s adjustments are precise and filled with love. Teresa will teach kriya, pranayama, and meditation for the Ashtanga tradition, along with other practices like kaya kriya, Chakra balancing, or Vipassana. You’ll feel deeply cleansed and relaxed after the sessions. Additionally, Teresa will assist in the Ashtanga Mysore classes each morning. The retreat offers a balanced Yin and Yang practice, with a Kirtan session on Wednesday and two workshops on massage and hands-on techniques.”

In Mysore, they corrected me in the right places, and now I know more about what I can work on. Tereza did Philosophy and Pranayama with me, which was so loving, and I had an exceptionally good Ayurveda massage and Reiki. The food is prepared with heart and cooked with good products. Thank you so much for this enrichment in Thailand.

I decided to join their detox program because I was feeling a bit worn out from indulging in the island’s nightlife. But after the 7-day detox, I felt amazing and as light as a feather. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Theresa for her support and advice during the program. Kes and Theresa are both excellent yoga instructors. Kes teaches the dynamic Ashtanga yoga classes every morning using the traditional Mysore form of instruction, where you’ll definitely work up a sweat! He also provides helpful adjustments. Theresa, on the other hand, offers the gentler Hatha and Vinyasa yoga in the afternoons, with a focus on preparing for meditation. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with such lovely hosts. I left the retreat feeling incredible and grateful that I stumbled upon it!
