I loved this week! They offer a great mix of practical and theoretical work, and they even have a fun evening program. Plus, they made sure my accommodation was near the yoga training center, so I could walk there easily. I definitely recommend it.

I absolutely loved choosing ULU Yoga! Everything, from the course to the food, was just perfect.

What I really enjoyed was that our group wasn’t large. This meant that we could really talk and make friends with everyone without feeling like we were just part of a big crowd.

The teachers were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. You really felt like you were in good hands. I learned so much about yoga, the lifestyle, and even about myself. My time at ULU Yoga in Uluwatu was absolutely amazing and I am so grateful for the wonderful experience!

I loved everything about it! I wish I had signed up for 21 days instead of 14! Uluyoga really nailed it with creating the perfect environment for us to learn in. The teachers were friendly and easy to talk to, the staff was attentive and reliable. The classes were set up so that we could practice teaching a bit each day, which really helped build up our confidence. I couldn’t wait for class every day, especially with my awesome new friends by my side.

I stayed at One Degree Sunset Hill, located on the main road, so it could get noisy at night. Just a heads up for light sleepers! Even though it’s in the middle of a hill, the place was clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff was super nice and helpful. Unfortunately, there was no fridge in the room.

I gave it a 5-star rating, even though I would say it’s more of a 4/5 in terms of quality and price. I completed my 200-hour YTT with Uluyoga in Bali. All of the teachers were absolutely amazing!

It’s the perfect blend of authentic yoga with caring and down-to-earth people in the beautiful setting of Bali near the beaches. If you’re looking for a well-organized school with a great mix of different teachers’ energy and knowledge, this is the place for you! I liked that you get to experience a variety of styles so you can discover what you prefer.

The included breakfast was delicious with sweet and savory options every day. The shala is peaceful and conveniently located with plenty of good restaurants nearby for meals. A huge shoutout to the ULU yoga team! Héloïse, our lead teacher, was fantastic with her vibrant energy and knowledge of chakras. Manjeet’s philosophy teachings were a perfect mix of Indian tradition and modern humor. Salome, Eddie, Lloyd, Flo, Krystal, and Tania all brought their unique expertise to the table.

I highly recommend ULU yoga for an unforgettable experience!

Honestly, I liked everything. The organization, food, teachers, and class schedule were all great. It was an amazing, life-changing experience. I’m new to the yoga world and didn’t know what to expect, but I enjoyed every class. The teachers were all unique and knowledgeable. I felt welcomed and appreciated. Our group of students became like a little family. We shared experiences, practiced meditation, pranayamas, and asanas together, went for massages, and had meals together. It was an unforgettable growing experience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to enrich my life with knowledge and tools to navigate life’s hurdles and enjoy beautiful moments ahead.

I personally got a little bored in Uluwatu – I think the only downside was that. If this program was in Ubud, I think it would have been fantastic. I loved my training here. I completed the 3-week 200-hour advanced course – I loved that it was a hybrid program to give some flexibility. I thought it was an excellent all-encompassing program that introduced me to many different styles of yoga. Most of the instructors were great!

In Bali, things can be unpredictable sometimes. If you have an open mindset that’s willing to adjust to changes in the schedule or program, you’ll be fine. The team handled any issues, like construction noise at the venue, with ease. I suggest going for the premium package for hotel rooms onsite with the shala if you can – it’s definitely worth it. The content and learning format were top-notch. The online videos complemented the in-person program perfectly. The instructors were genuine, caring, and knowledgeable. We got to experience a wide range of yoga styles and had a blast. I felt well taken care of and safe throughout the training. I highly recommend Ulu Yoga to anyone seeking an authentic teacher training experience.

We loved using the swing Ulu created – it’s super easy! Can’t wait to try it out on regular swings back home. The Aerial Teacher Training at ULU yoga was amazing. Eddie made sure everything ran smoothly. The Bamboo shala was beautiful and the staff was so kind. The schedule was perfect – theory, practice, and rest time all in balance. Minty, Heloise, and Lloyd were fantastic teachers. Eddie’s morning aerial flow was a highlight. Our group of 12, including both experienced yoga teachers and beginners, felt like a close-knit family by the end. Our stay at Taman Sari was also fantastic.

I found the yoga teacher training and community at Ulu Yoga, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Eddie and the team were so supportive from the beginning and they continued to be there for me when I needed it most. Despite facing some health issues, I didn’t miss a single class and grew as an instructor in ways I never expected. The support and love I received from everyone at Ulu Yoga made all the difference. It’s amazing to have a group of people who uplift you and celebrate your successes without judgment. Ulu Yoga’s high standards and top-notch training produce the best yoga instructors in the world. I feel empowered and confident thanks to the education and practice I received. I even bought an aerial yoga swing created by Eddie to make practicing at home easier. I will always carry the love and support I received at Ulu Yoga with me, and I hope to impact others’ lives in the same positive way.

The 3D accommodation was the only thing that wasn’t perfect – it wasn’t cleaned as often and there were a couple of times we had no water. Some people might have had an issue with it, but it didn’t bother me at all. I saw it as part of the experience and embraced it, living like a native. I loved it and would definitely stay there again. The communication with the girls through emails from the start was excellent. They gave me all the support I needed to feel safe and confident about the course. The online classes were so inspiring and exciting – I’ve never enjoyed studying so much before. I liked all the teachers but Manjeet was my favorite. His wisdom and energy really came through the screen, helping me understand Yoga philosophy and the benefits of Pranayama and training our minds. Cody’s Anatomy classes were also very interesting. I loved his dynamic teaching style, it made things so much easier to understand. Choosing Bali over Thailand or Indonesia for the in-person part of the course was a tough decision, but my heart and intuition led me to Uluwatu. I’m so grateful I made that choice – the energy in Uluwatu is amazing, the beaches and restaurants are fantastic. Everyone I met at our Shala holds a special place in my heart – my classmates, the teachers, and everyone at Le Bamboo. They created a supportive community where we not only learned new skills but also how to connect and love ourselves better. I enjoyed all the activities provided in Ulu, they helped us build confidence as teachers and be more creative and intuitive in our classes. I’m truly grateful for finding this course and having this wonderful experience.

The original shala only had 1 toilet, but the ULU program was fantastic. It offered a mix of theory, yoga history, vinyasa, hatha, yin, acro and aerial yoga. The teachers were knowledgeable, engaging, and all-around great humans, which made the learning experience brilliant. The diverse mix of students from around the world, with various yoga backgrounds and ages, made the 3 weeks a blast and led to great friendships. The new ULU shala has stunning views and is well appointed. Being able to choose your own accommodation and find lunches and dinners yourself was a real plus for me. I stayed at the Hidden Hills Villas, which were stunning and an easy walk to both ULU Shalas.

I left this training feeling inspired, equipped with a wealth of knowledge, and having met incredible lifelong friends. One thing that really stood out to me was the daily asana labs where we practiced teaching different poses and refining our cues. The emphasis on practical application was exactly what I was looking for in a training program. A bonus for me was being able to do some hours of study online before joining in person, giving me flexibility and an extra day of learning.

The teachers were truly the heart and soul of the training. Their vast knowledge and genuine passion for yoga created an engaging and nurturing learning environment. They guided me to deepen my understanding of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga.

The newly built shala with air conditioning and stunning ocean views was a fantastic setting for our training. The daily colorful sunsets were a beautiful bonus!

This training wasn’t just about learning yoga poses; it was about self-discovery, connection, and realizing our potential to inspire positive change. I feel ready, confident, and equipped to go out into the world and start teaching!

Here are some things I want to mention:
    1. The hotels we stayed at were very basic, so don’t expect anything fancy.
    2. We had some miscommunication and coordination issues due to two classes going on at the same time, but it’s all good. This was my first yoga teacher training and first time in Bali – the three weeks were amazing!

It was more than just learning yoga and how to teach it – I learned about self-love, bravery, humility, and so much more. I’m so grateful for everything I learned there. I highly recommend it for these reasons:
    1. Ulu Yoga offers a variety of interesting non-traditional yoga courses like aerial, acro, beach, and SUP. I love aerial yoga, and playing with Ulu’s unique hammock was a blast!
    2. The teachers were all caring, lovely, and knowledgeable with diverse backgrounds. My classmates were from all over the world, so every day was a chance to learn about new cultures and hear different life stories.
    3. The training was in Uluwatu, a less touristy area close to the beach with great restaurants and cafes.
    4. They provide a textbook and online platform for learning that you can access for a year, which I found really helpful. You can revisit it whenever you want.

I didn’t like that they didn’t tell us in advance about losing a day of on-site training for the day of silence. We only found out once we got there, so I was wondering why we were still paying the same price. Most of the teachers were amazing and really made the experience incredible. I had a great experience with the teacher training itself, nothing negative to report! Walking around in Uluwatu isn’t the best for pedestrians, as there are few walkways and most people use taxis or scooters. Despite the construction, we didn’t hear any noise at the Shala and had a relaxing yoga experience with experienced teachers who were always there to help.

I loved trying out Aerial, SUP, and Acroyoga during the course, it was a fun change of pace. The breakfast was delicious and the long lunch break was perfect for studying and relaxing by the pool.

The ULUyoga team was super helpful, organizing everything from hotel accommodations to taxi rides from the airport. The online hours were well-structured and the video quality was great, plus you can access them even after the course.

I wish I had more vacation days to do the 300-hour course right after, but hopefully, I can go back to Bali in the future for another ULUyoga course.

I really loved the location of the training and how the teachers made everyone feel comfortable. I had been practicing yoga for a few years, but I learned so much more and deepened my practice more than I could have imagined. I had some medical emergencies that weren’t related to yoga or ulu yoga, but they supported me through the whole journey. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish the course there, but we easily found a solution and now I’m really enjoying the online course. The communication was always clear and friendly. Maybe the mat isn’t always clean, so I think I’ll bring my own. The examination seems too long – maybe 60 minutes would be better for beginners. I really love the teaching vibe and environment here. Doing yoga in a bamboo shala with teachers from different backgrounds is so cool. I learn a lot every day, both physically and philosophically. The interaction in class, like the sharing circle and various activities, is my favorite part. And let me tell you, sup yoga and acro yoga are amazing! I never expected to experience so much here. Some lessons were recorded from zoom and the quality was not great in a few of them. The teachers were very open and available if I needed them, which I loved. It was such an emotional journey and I felt safe with the teachers, group, and surroundings. Yoga in the Le Bamboo Shala with a view towards the ocean, surrounded by green gigantic plants was amazing. I learned so much about yoga and myself! I woke up every morning excited for class. I loved the Ulu 21-day 200hr YTT in Uluwatu! It was incredible in every way. I signed up to do yoga and learn more about yogi philosophy, but I ended up with a truly life-changing experience. And I met some amazing people who will always hold a special place in my heart.

Some key highlights of the experience included:
    1) The online content was great – being able to access classes before, during, and after the 21-day program was so helpful. It gave me a good foundation of knowledge and I plan to recap some bits after as well.
    2) The teachers were amazing – I’m grateful for everything they taught us on and off the mat, their support, and their positive energy.
    3) The timetable was perfect – a good balance of physical practice, classroom learning, and downtime to relax, study, process, and explore.
    4) I loved the mix of yoga styles – from vinyasa to Hatha, Ariel, acro, and yin. I enjoyed them all.
    5) The venue, Le bamboo, was ideal – a beautiful bohemian resort with ocean views, infinity pool, fantastic staff, and delicious food. The shala had everything we needed with lovely nature views. And the new Ulu shala was spacious and peaceful, perfect for Ariel and acro.
    6) The organization by Eddie and his team was seamless. Communication before, during, and after the program was top-notch. They were so helpful and accommodating.

I’m incredibly grateful for this experience and I can’t recommend Ulu YTT enough! It was truly unforgettable.

I didn’t find anything to complain about. Everything was really nice. I want to give a big thank you to ULU Yoga for the amazing time I had during my on-site Training in Uluwatu, Bali. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. I am incredibly grateful for all the laughter, tears, and insights we shared. Even though the training only lasted two weeks, I learned a great deal! I learned not only how to design classes and teach others, but also a lot about myself and my own practice. Some of my personal highlights were the spa excursion one evening and the opportunity to try out different yoga styles like acro, aerial, yin, and SUP yoga. After completing this training, I now feel prepared to teach vinyasa and hatha yoga classes and motivated to continue on my spiritual journey. Thank you once again for this incredible experience!

By the way, the breakfast was fantastic. So many options to choose from. I discovered my love for smoothie bowls. 😀

I also want to mention that the shala is brand new and has a beautiful view of the sea. The shala does a great job canceling out noise, which is helpful since there is a lot of construction going on in the area.

Sorry, but I wouldn’t book this teacher training again. It was my second YTT and definitely the least “Yogi” one so far. I felt like the owners were just trying to make as much money as possible from us because Koh Phangan is a popular tourist spot. We didn’t do much meditation, learn about Yoga philosophy or spirituality, or even study anatomy. We only had one Acro and one SUP Yoga session. Breakfast was included, but it wasn’t enough to keep us properly nourished.

The group was all over the place – some participants had just arrived with no knowledge, while others had been there for weeks doing their 200h or 300h training. This caused a lot of frustration when we started another anatomy or philosophy lesson.

The teachers were great though – friendly, knowledgeable, and lovely. I would definitely attend a class with them again.

I didn’t really experience anything negative, I was happy the whole time. Some last-minute changes in organization happened, but I didn’t mind at all. That’s just how life goes!

The last shala at Le Bamboo was small and hot, but we were spoiled from the amazing shalas we had been to before. This teacher training was incredible. We had 5 different teachers, all inspiring, wise, and generous in their own ways. Each one gave us tools and advice for our journeys as yoga teachers and as individuals. I am grateful to have met them and learned from their stories.

We got to spend each week in a different shala, which allowed us to explore various locations. The teachers and organizers were always there to help and resolve any issues that came up.

It was a safe and nurturing environment to grow and discover more about ourselves. I came to escape winter for a month and learn about yoga, but I found so much more. I found deep understanding, support, and wonderful connections with souls, teachers, and friends. Thank you all for your love and presence!

I recommend booking the accommodation privately.
A huge thank you to the entire ULU Yoga team.
The various yoga styles, some of which are very creative or innovative, combined with a glimpse into the depths of yoga philosophy and spirituality related to yoga, offer a whole new perspective.
Any perfectionists looking to criticize something here should definitely work on their Shavasana!

Minty, Eddy, and Nat have been wonderful teachers who always helped us with everything we needed. They always made us feel supported.

Having another day off to enjoy some time planning activities would be great, but the staff at the resort for breakfast seemed too slow. We talked to them about it, but unfortunately, things didn’t improve in the long run. It would have been nice to have some little extras like discounts at the restaurant, laundry services, or even access to scooters (even though they said they had it, it wasn’t very practical). There was a good variety of yoga styles, discussions on anatomy, diverse teachers, a beautiful location, and engaging teaching exercises, as well as opportunities for stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) with other participants.

I definitely had a blast in this course, which focused on fun rather than just getting certified as a yoga teacher. Some people might love that, others not so much. Personally, I wish the analytics classes had been more structured since many of us were inexperienced and struggled with alignment.

But I have to give a shoutout to the amazing teachers who were so caring. The venue wasn’t too shabby, but the noise from traffic at night really got on my nerves.

Overall, I highly recommend this course. I had the time of my life! Heloise was an incredible teacher, the Shala was stunning, and the whole team took great care of us. We had thrilling Areal and Acro classes, practiced on the beach, and even tried out SUP boarding.

The resort looked beautiful, and the staff were so kind and accommodating. The only downside was the breakfasts we were served, they weren’t very filling so I usually ended up ordering a second dish. The quality of the food provided at the resort was different compared to the food we bought, the bought food was more substantial and seemed to be made with more care. But other than that, I have no complaints. Cody and Shashi are wonderful people, they created a safe space for us to explore ourselves and be vulnerable, which was more than I could have asked for. I felt heard, seen, and loved the entire 3 weeks I was in Koh PhaNgan. They had so much knowledge to share that was humbling, thought-provoking, and impactful on how I want to navigate through life. It was not just a personal journey, but also a spiritual and energetic journey with those around me. My confidence as a teacher has soared because of this experience. The course provided a safe space for all emotions to be released. I am grateful I took this time to invest in myself.

The booking process was easy. Saghar helped me with all my questions about ferries, transportation, getting to the resort, and online inquiries. She responded quickly and was very friendly and helpful.

I did some research online before my trip to Thailand. The videos were clear and I really enjoyed the philosophy, understanding it easily just by watching them.

When I arrived in Thailand, the resort employees greeted me warmly, making me feel right at home. The room was okay, although I probably should have opted for one with air conditioning since the weather was so hot and humid. But I managed.

The instructors, Cody and Lena, were fantastic. They were friendly and laid-back, perfect for both beginners and advanced yoga students. Cody explained the philosophy in a way that I could relate to my own life, and Lena’s calm teaching style made me aspire to be a great teacher like her.

Ulu Yoga changed me for the better. It’s taken me a while to write this review because reminiscing about my time there makes me want to go back. I miss the atmosphere and the people dearly.

I will definitely choose Ulu Yoga for my next course. Thank you, Ulu Yoga. Lots of love ❤️

Being in Canada, the time difference made it tough for me to join in-person yoga practice through Zoom. But luckily, I was able to access recorded classes to participate from home on my own time. Ulu Yoga has put together a comprehensive program covering philosophy, anatomy, pranayamas, meditations, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin yoga, and Asana analytics. Each teacher brings a wealth of knowledge and the Ulu Yoga team is incredibly kind and supportive. This course is sure to enhance your yoga practice and lay a solid foundation for becoming a yoga teacher. I appreciate the flexibility of being able to work through the course at my own pace from home. I particularly enjoy practicing yoga with Janaina and her beautiful mantra singing. Cody has taught me some challenging asanas and in-depth anatomy. Kehkashan dives deep into asana analytics and prop usage. Manjeet and Dr. Kalpana have shared the roots of yoga, pranayama, and meditation techniques that have helped me connect with myself and find inner peace. I feel grateful to have found Ulu Yoga in my search for a 200hr yoga teacher training.

The audio quality for “bones 1” or “muscles” was not great. It was hard to understand Cody because the sound was so low. I really appreciated Cody Pizer’s knowledge as our course trainer. Even though I had background knowledge from studying Biology and previous YTT, I was still learning a lot of new things. Cody presented the topics in a clear and understandable way, making it easy to follow along. I also enjoyed the course’s clear structure and the separation of basic anatomy and functional anatomy. I only didn’t like that I couldn’t do the training in person due to Covid. At first, I hesitated to do a big 300h training online, but I decided to give it a go due to circumstances. I’m so grateful I chose to do it with ULU Yoga; right from the start, they offered a warm & welcoming community with the chance to participate in weekly live lessons and teaching practices. Those turned out to be the highlight, so don’t miss out on them! All the teachers were pros and each added their own personality to their teachings, which was amazing. A great opportunity to learn from the best. The training structure was well-organized and progressed in a logical way; I never felt overwhelmed. You can progress at your own pace, which is a great benefit of doing the training online. The training encourages you to have constructive criticism towards yourself and helps you grow and see things differently. The support team at ULU was always available on short notice. This is the best training out there and I highly recommend joining the live lessons and teaching practice; they are the absolute gems of the course. Most importantly, remember to enjoy the process.

I have been dreaming of learning yoga from this school for a long time. Two of my friends took the course and loved it, and thanks to online learning, now I am too! I meet daily with all the instructors in live classes, and the best part is that I can record these classes to watch again and review. Instead of sitting in a classroom and struggling with my note-taking skills, I can learn at my own pace. I also have private study groups with other students, so I have made connections and friends from around the world. This was my biggest worry, but now it’s not an issue.

The traditional yoga instruction is very detailed and organized. Salomé, the instructor, is amazing. I also really enjoy learning about the philosophy of yoga. The format is structured with assigned readings, questions, and follow-up discussions. I have been trying to study yoga philosophy for years, and now everything is clear to me. Watching the videos of Bali is a treat, and it motivates me to travel there and take the course in person next year.

I also had teaching examinations where I practiced teaching other course members on Zoom. I even taught my mother while stuck at home. I recorded myself teaching, and the instructors gave me great feedback. It was a bit difficult at first to watch myself, but it’s the best way to learn. Now, I feel confident to teach and help others, and I am grateful and happy with everything.

I want to express my love and thanks to my teachers for the amazing yoga class. They often paired me with two advanced students, which helped me learn faster than I expected. The organization and guidelines for everything were meticulously planned. As a building project manager, I can see how every detail of this school is carefully considered, from greeting guests to scoring tests and teaching poses. The break times and guided activities were perfectly balanced, with beach and spa excursions. The staff was caring outside of class, spending time with us at breakfast and lunch, and organizing outings. The 24/7 hands-on group coordinator outside of teaching was a wonderful idea that kept the group united and motivated. I hope to return for the 300-hour course later this year. Thank you so much!

I booked the deluxe room on the edge of the cliff overlooking the sea. I was thrilled about it and loved falling asleep to the sounds of the sea all night. My balcony even had a comfy hammock swing where I spent most of my free time. Every morning, I indulged in gluten-free pancakes and cappuccino that were absolutely delicious. I was amazed at the quality coming from Thailand. The rest of the breakfast spread was also good, with muesli, toast, eggs, salad, seeds, and fruits. But those gluten-free pancakes and cappuccino were worth the extra cost.

Breakfast was a cool experience as we all ate together, feeling like high school students after a yoga session. The instructors – Shashi, Edward, Victoria, Alon, and Minty – were all fantastic teachers with clear, detailed instructions on a wide range of subjects. I was surprised and impressed by the fact that each student had a private interview with the teachers to discuss our health, previous experience, and course expectations. Throughout the week, we participated in group sharing circles to express our feelings. The instructors were very receptive and flexible with any suggestions we made. I was worried that the yoga would be too advanced, as I had only tried regular Hatha and Vinyasa yoga before. However, I can confidently say that the regular yoga classes were the best I had ever experienced. The other styles were also excellent, although I have limited comparison. The quality of the group work encouraged us to develop self-sufficiency and care for one another. I am grateful to my fellow students and instructors for sharing their deep knowledge and love. This course in the pristine natural environment was exactly what I needed. The instructors were kind and encouraged me to rest when necessary. In the afternoon, the resort gave us free coconuts and a special electrolyte mix, which was weird but invigorating. The breakfast was good, but the lunch was excellent. I ordered various traditional Thai dishes like pad Thai and green curry from the regular menu. Cheaper restaurants nearby had poor quality compared to the resort. So, two other students and I signed up for a cooking class there, which was so much fun. There were many classes every day, like sup, regular yoga, philosophy, and anatomy. The instructors took time to explain everything in detail and answer all our questions. I loved the other students, teachers, and staff. It was really cool because all the other students had done the same thing, so we had things in common to discuss and could share our personal development.

I was worried that the training wouldn’t be serious because there are so many styles. However, the schedule was a perfect balance of fun and serious study. Those who weren’t seriously interested in teaching could do more sup or beach yoga instead, but even these classes had a structured methodology. I sometimes miss the big shopping in Bangkok, but Koh Phangan has a nice Saturday market. That’s the trade off for natural beauty 🙂 This was my first yoga retreat. The words that come to mind are life changing beyond expectation and best time ever. This experience completely changed my life, values, and friendships. I know when I go home, I won’t be the same person and will need to cut many negative relationships. Thank you dearly to my spiritual guidance, Shashi, for opening my own path. Thank you Victoria for your radiant laughter and positivity. Thank you Alon for your incredible knowledge of traditional yoga and self-respect. Thank you Edward for sharing the gift of flying. There was a wide variety of classes and we were able to get feedback and make some changes based on how the group was feeling. I felt shy at first to express my opinion, but the instructors sincerely welcomed anything they could do. There are two yoga spaces. One overlooks the ocean and the other is by the pool, which was great because it had mirrors. It was nice they let me take a mat and some blocks to practice on my balcony. Sometimes it was so hot I was sweating like a Bikram class. But the studio had big fans blasting the whole time and after releasing so many toxins, I was sweating much less. Overall, the level of instruction was deep and varied and the location was heavenly.

Riding a motorbike here can be challenging with the hilly roads. Just wear a helmet, go slow, and enjoy the views, but make sure to keep your eyes on the road too! I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of Thailand and the quality of the course exceeded my expectations. The accommodation, surrounded by green gardens with ocean views, was fantastic. I found the teachers and staff to be very friendly. The daily breakfast offered something different and was very healthy. I highly recommend waking up early to catch the breathtaking sunrise. In the evenings, we would all jump in the sea and practice some acro yoga on the beach. Sup yoga was a bit challenging, but the instructors were very attentive and supportive. We would also visit different beaches in our free time, each offering incredible views. I learned to love waking up at 6 AM for yoga in the beautiful shala overlooking the sea. At night, I could hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze from my bed. The sunsets were so stunning, they looked like a painting. The location is close to many restaurants and shops for souvenirs, snacks, and coconuts. There is a 7-Eleven and pharmacy nearby for convenience. I found everything to be wonderful, but planning ahead is essential to avoid difficulties when getting there. I was hesitant to join because I am not a thin girl with yoga experience. However, each class offered easy options for beginners like me and more advanced options for others. What I valued the most was their attention to detail and focus on safety. They always made sure to highlight potential dangers, mistakes, and benefits of various poses in normal yoga, aerial, and sup yoga, rather than just showing us how to do them. This made me believe that we were getting a better experience compared to other courses. It seems like they run a ton of courses each year and really know what they’re doing.

Some of the other students had already completed 200 trainings and shared that this course was significantly better than others they had taken, regretting investing in cheaper training in India. While I may not pursue a career as a yoga instructor, I now feel confident enough to teach friends and family effectively. The island, resort, and yoga shala were all stunning. I did find the resort staff a bit irritating, so I moved to the neighboring accommodation which had much nicer rooms at the same price. I highly recommend staying at High Life Resort or Haad Son Resort at Secret Beach instead.

They really made me rethink my life and career choices. My job may be fun, but in the grand scheme of things, it seems pretty shallow. This yoga and sports retreat was a wonderful and unique experience. Most of us in the group had no yoga background, but by the end, we all felt confident in our new abilities. I really enjoyed the variety offered in the program. There were fun challenges for the athletic folks and step-by-step guidance for beginners looking to master advanced poses. The restorative and SUP yoga sessions with Ria were perfectly balanced. We also had a blast with acro and aerial yoga on the beach for some great Instagram photos.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the regular yoga classes. The instructors were fantastic at giving detailed alignment instructions. Shashi’s philosophical teachings were deep yet easy to grasp. The shala surrounded by birds and trees was absolutely stunning, though the dining area could use a little sprucing up. Some found the resort staff to be a bit blunt, but that’s just their honest Thai style. It made the experience feel genuine and authentic.

My favorite part of the retreat was swimming at sunset with all my new friends. The bonding experience was truly unforgettable.

I can’t wait to come back next year. The instructors really know their stuff and helped us out a lot. The best part was definitely the SUP Yoga – it was intense but totally doable for everyone. The location is stunning and the food was delicious, although the restaurant could use a little sprucing up. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone.

This experience has awakened and transformed me! I originally joined because I thought it sounded like fun, particularly the Acro Yoga and SUP Yoga. But I was completely surprised by the deep philosophy that was shared. It really opened up my mind to see my true self. The restorative aerial yoga even helped to heal the back pain I’ve had since I was 14. Koh Phangan island is absolutely stunning. The waters are a gorgeous turquoise color 🙂 And the yoga shala has a view of the beautiful blue sea! Thanks so much to my wonderful teachers. I highly recommend this course.
