Nothing really! I had the most incredible experience at a yoga retreat so far. Puri Bagus Lovina is just the perfect place, and their staff, from the drivers to the trainees, are all absolutely wonderful.
Some of the staff didn't speak English very well, but we always managed to understand each other. The place was fine for me, not too fancy, but keep in mind it attracts a lot of young travelers who aren't necessarily looking for a quiet yoga retreat.
Everyone on the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The classes were high quality, and the unlimited pass allowed me to customize my schedule with a variety of yoga and meditation styles. I particularly enjoyed the classes taught by both Balinese and Western instructors, including Yoga Philosophy and Life Coaching.
I loved the eco-friendly concept of the place. The restaurant served delicious vegetarian, vegan, and raw dishes, and being right next to the beach was perfect. The busier part of Canggu is also close by if you're looking for more variety.
I stayed at the second location down the street, which I actually preferred because it was quieter and the rooms were newer and more spacious.
Overall, I had a great experience and met some amazing people. This week exceeded my expectations in every way.
