Yoga Near Me's Listings

Reviews

  • This family hotel is actually run by an ashram, not a yoga retreat. They have packages they try to sell you on. The website promised classes, but they weren't offered. And if there weren't enough people signed up, they would cancel them. I wanted a break, but ended up having to ask for things that were supposed to be included. I came here to connect with others on a yoga retreat, but ended up feeling lonely and isolated.

There was another retreat happening with an Italian group that seemed to take over the yoga studio. The location is far from Ubud and the shuttle times are inconvenient, especially if you want to eat dinner in town.

In short, this place is not really a yoga retreat. There's not enough yoga or planned activities. On the plus side, the quiet location outside of Ubud was peaceful. It was nice to be in a small village and see the rice farmers working.

  • This family hotel, not a yoga retreat, is run by an ashram looking to upsell you on packages. They didn't offer classes as promised on their website and would likely cancel if not enough people signed up. I was hoping for a relaxing getaway but ended up feeling like I had to beg for the things included in my package. I booked this retreat to connect with others, but instead found myself alone most of the time.

To make matters worse, an Italian group was holding a retreat that took over the yoga studio, leaving me with limited class options. The location is far from Ubud with minimal shuttle service, especially during dinner time in town.

In conclusion, this place falls short as a yoga retreat due to the lack of classes and activities. The peaceful setting outside of busy Ubud was a highlight, allowing me to observe the local rice farmers at work.

To make matters worse, there was another group from Italy taking over the yoga studio during my few classes. The location is far from Ubud and the shuttle service is limited and inconvenient if you want to go into town for dinner.

I would recommend reconsidering this place as a yoga retreat since there aren't many classes or activities. The setting outside of Ubud is peaceful and the village atmosphere is nice to experience. It was interesting to see the rice farmers at work.

  • Overall, the experience completely changed my life. The program pushed me hard and I gained immense physical and spiritual benefits from it. It cleverly and effectively blends both aspects of yoga. When I completed the program, I felt confident enough to start teaching, and I was also bursting with excitement to do so.
