  • I had a truly unique experience during my stay at Wonderland! It exceeded all my expectations. I had never practiced yoga before, but now I feel like I need it in my life. The food they served was simply delicious, the rooms were clean and comfy, and the nature around was amazing! Plus, you're never alone here - I met some incredible people from all around the world.

  • We need to address a few updates, such as replacing the upper spa bathroom toilet as soon as possible. It really ruins the bath vibe in that space. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff was very attentive. The food was delicious, and the yoga training was exceptional. Ana, my spa therapist, was amazing and gifted in her healing arts. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be back soon!

  • On the first day, I was given a schedule that had more free time gaps than activities. There was only one yoga class per day (if at all). I was also the only person doing a retreat there…

I attended yoga classes with three different teachers. Two of them, in my opinion, were just awful.

On the second evening, I had a "motivational talk" with Master Ketut Arsana. I was draped in a white cloth around my hips and a yellow cloth around my shoulders by a young lady, and led through a dark path away from the hotel area to a hut where the Master was sitting on an elevated seat, awaiting questions. After a baptismal-like ritual and a drink from him, it all seemed very cult-like or Tantra-community to me.

I felt extremely uncomfortable there, so I decided to cancel the retreat after two nights and book somewhere else. When the reception found out about my plan, they tried to prevent any phone contact.

Luckily, I spent the rest of my vacation at a different yoga retreat where I felt much better taken care of. Unlike the Om Ham Center, they had yoga and meditation twice a day, workshops, cultural excursions, 25 other participants from around the world, and a healthy atmosphere. The restaurant and coffee area were charmingly decorated, and the staff was very attentive. The food was decent too.

For hotel guests not doing a retreat, this place might be suitable as the infrastructure (rooms, pool, yoga rooms, restaurant) is well-maintained and the staff extremely helpful. However, I would strongly advise against it for a yoga retreat!

Master Ketut Arsana’s yoga class was good in itself, except I found out he only teaches once a week for an hour.
