I didn't have any specific dislikes, but the other attendees were surprised when they saw me. While they were all doing yoga teacher training, I was the only one on a yoga retreat. However, I still had a great time because I approached everything with a positive mindset and a desire to learn. I was really impressed by the staff at Bali Yoga School; they were incredibly polite and helpful. They made me feel so welcome. Even though I'm not vegan, I absolutely loved the food they served at every meal. The fruits were incredibly sweet and the rest of the dishes had such flavorful and fun names.

There's nothing to complain about, so just enjoy your retreat! If you're looking for a retreat that fulfills all your needs, this place is it. You'll have an amazing time. Ariel isn't just the owner, he also runs a restaurant called Wild Vegan where you'll get to enjoy delicious à la carte lunch and dinner. It's so yummy. Even if the retreat is fully booked, make sure to try his food anyway hahah. The retreat rooms are clean and bright, with comfy beds and a great view of the ricefields. Don't miss out on a swim in the beautiful pool between yoga sessions and the many activities Ariel offers. In yoga, we practiced hatha, vinyasa, and a lot of yin with three different yoga teachers. Overall, it was the best week I've had in Ubud. I would definitely recommend it.
In shared accommodation, each staff member should have greater privacy and comfort. Adding more stable curtains and beds would make all the difference in the experience. Personally, I enjoyed the food and all the classes.
