The rooms were not very clean. I stayed in three different rooms - first the shared dorms, which were probably the best and cleanest. The other two rooms I stayed in had dirty bedding. The first one had blood on the sheets, like someone squashed a mosquito, and the second had white stains that looked like...well, you know. Both rooms were supposed to have hot water and AC, but the first one had a broken shower and the second one had a broken AC. I have to give credit to the staff, though - they sent maintenance right away to fix the problems I mentioned.
Most of the staff were nice, but the owner seemed a bit rude. Once, when I was in the common area on my phone, he came over and told me to leave in a not-so-friendly way. Some of the yoga teachers were great, but some were a bit arrogant and rude. One teacher pushed me into a pose that hurt my back, which was really not cool. Luckily, no serious damage was done. Overall, the yoga classes were good, but some teachers were not so great.
On the bright side, the food at the restaurant was healthy and fresh, and the location was great. I appreciated that the accommodation was smoke and alcohol-free, which attracted other health-conscious people and created a great vibe with interesting folks to chat with. It was a great place to hang out.
The rooms were not very clean. I stayed in three different rooms: first, the shared dorms, which were probably the best and cleanest. Then, in two other locations with my own room. Both rooms had dirty bedding. The first had blood on it, like someone had squashed a mosquito full of blood on the sheets. The second had white stains on the dark blanket that looked like sex juice. Both rooms were supposed to have hot water and AC. The first room had a shower that didn't work and even after they fixed it, there was no hot water. The second room's AC was broken. I have to give it to the staff though, as soon as I told them about the issues, they had maintenance come to fix them in a few hours.
Most of the staff were nice, but the owner seemed pretty rude. I was in the common area chatting on my phone when he rudely told me to leave while he was talking to the staff and gestured for me to go. Some of the yoga teachers were great, but a few were arrogant and rude. One class felt like a drill sergeant was teaching us, and in another, a teacher pushed me into a pose before I was ready, hurting my back. It was kind of dangerous, but luckily I didn't get seriously injured. Most of the yoga classes were good, but some teachers were just awful.
The food at the restaurant was fresh and healthy. The location was great! I liked that the accommodation was smoke and alcohol-free, which attracted lots of like-minded health-conscious people. The vibe was great and there were plenty of interesting people to talk to. It was a great hangout spot.
The yoga instructor is fantastic, the facilities are beautiful, and the vegan food is creative and delicious.
