I started off in a single bedroom with just a fan, and it was way too hot. My "window" overlooked the shared indoor bathroom, so there was no way to get some fresh air.
After enduring 9 sweltering nights, a room with air conditioning became available, so I switched. There were construction works going on right behind the wall of my room all day, until the end of my stay there. I couldn't enjoy my room (and the AC) during the day.. the noise from the machines was unbearable. I had to shower with earplugs. And the workers were constantly walking through my small terrace, one chair was even chained up to hang a sign "Thank you for understanding the inconvenience caused by the construction". Other things bothered me like the springs in the mattress, low water pressure in the shower, hot water only lasting for 3 minutes, worn-out bath towels that didn't smell fresh at all, the flooding in my room every morning after a night of rain... Instead of fixing the issue, I was told via email to put all my belongings higher up.. If I had to do it again, I would only take the yoga pass and stay elsewhere.
PS: I was in the Yang room. The pool is small but very peaceful and surrounded by greenery.
The yoga classes were really good. It's great to have a pass for the month and decide day by day which classes to attend.
The staff is extremely kind and helpful. From the reception, to the restaurant, security, gardeners, housekeeping,... thank you to all of them for everything!
Very close to the beach, on a rather quiet street. Very pleasant.
I first stayed in a single bedroom with a fan and it was way too hot. The "window" faced the shared bathroom inside so there was no way to get some fresh air.

I couldn't enjoy my room (and the A/C) during the day.. the noise from the machines was unbearable. I had to shower with earplugs. And the workers were constantly going back and forth through my small terrace, where a chair was blocked to hang a sign "Thank you for your understanding of the inconvenience caused by the works".

My yoga classes in Koh Phangan with Alé were truly fantastic! Her mastery of yoga was apparent in her teaching style, which perfectly balanced challenge and relaxation. After each class, I felt refreshed and serene.
Alé's friendly and inviting demeanor fostered a supportive atmosphere for personal development, and I admired her skill in building individual connections with students.
The studio was impeccably clean and peaceful, enhancing the overall experience. I wholeheartedly endorse Alé as a top-notch yoga instructor in Koh Phangan.
