  • Some of the staff did not speak English very well, but we always managed to understand each other. The place is not a luxury stay, but I'm completely fine with it. Just keep in mind that it attracts a lot of young travelers who aren't looking for a quiet yoga retreat. Everyone on the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The classes were really good, and the unlimited pass allows you to tailor your experience to your preferences. I loved being able to try different yoga and meditation styles, taught by both Balinese and Western instructors. There were even options for Yoga Philosophy and Life Coaching. The eco-friendly concept of the place is great. The restaurant served mainly vegetarian, vegan, and raw dishes. The location next to the beach was perfect, and the bustling center of Canggu is close by for more variety. I stayed at the second location, which I actually think is better since it's quieter and has bigger, more recent rooms. Overall, I met some truly amazing people and found more than I had expected during my stay.
