I felt a bit disappointed that the room wasn’t as clean as I had expected. My 24-day stay at Yogmantra was a wonderful experience. I gained a lot of physical and spiritual insights during this time. I really enjoyed the philosophy and anatomy classes, which helped me take my body to a new level.

The structured schedule was fulfilling, and it was clear that this stay was more than just a retreat. It was a journey of self-discovery and learning new ways to pass on the knowledge in my home country.

The morning and evening meditations, whether in the room or by the sea, were particularly touching and gave me deep inner peace. The teachers were extremely respectful and always ready to answer any questions.

The written exam was relaxed, and I am deeply grateful to the teachers for the valuable information they shared with us. The second part of the exam involved leading a half-hour Yin Yoga session and a full-hour yoga class.

One especially memorable event was the Chakra healing in Ayurveda. It was particularly effective and enriched my stay.

The food was delicious, although at times it was a bit scarce, so we had to wait for new food to be cooked.

The staff is top-notch and very friendly.

I didn’t have anything I didn’t like…I really enjoyed it! Missed a bit of meat here and there…but I solved that by going out for a nice meal on my day off.

If you want to do a 200-hour yoga teacher training…come here! In the beginning of the 3 weeks, I was sick for a few days, but they took such good care of me. Food, medicine, asking how I was feeling. The people at Yoga Mantra are so kind. They knew most names within a few days and even noticed if you weren’t at breakfast.
The room is amazing! Lots of space and cleaned almost every day. I didn’t have any issues with noise.

I’m not a vegetarian and really enjoyed the food…until I started to miss meat. If I wanted, I could order food at the hotel or through Grab. I’ve never eaten so much tofu and tempeh. Honestly, it was always prepared so well.

The schedule looked tough, but I had so much energy until the end of the day.

The teachers were all amazing! They are great at teaching yoga. They love sharing their knowledge and are open to curious questions.

During the training, a hunger for more was created. I want to learn more about yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, pranayama, meditation, and the asanas. Thanks to a great team of people, they took such good care of me and everyone else there. The teachers are top-notch. Learned a lot and fun personalities.

I highly recommend Yoga Mantra to anyone looking to learn more about themselves and yoga!

Taking my 200-hour yoga training at Yogmantra was one of the best decisions of my life. Everything was just perfect, from the amazing food and great staff to the impressive and wise teachers (Nitish, Wayan, Pilya, Sunil, and Sajin) and the beautiful accommodation. I had a wonderful 3 weeks and will recommend it to anyone looking to do an authentic yoga training in Bali. Thank you for this amazing experience!

I finished my 200-hour YTTC in November 2023 with the group at Yogmantra. I absolutely love everything about it. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic yoga experience. There are 10 hours of classes every day from Monday to Saturday, with 6 hours of practical classes and 4 hours of theory classes. The staff and teachers are incredibly friendly and supportive. The group is divided into two groups, each consisting of 12 students. This is great compared to other schools in Bali where they usually have 20 students in one group. One of the main reasons I chose Yogmantra is because they only have a maximum of 14 students in one group. I love everything about this place – the food, the rooms, and the location. I will definitely be coming back for the 300-hour training.

The exam information should have been clearer earlier. Also, it would have been better if the two 200-hour groups had an equal number of participants. That way, the group of 12 wouldn’t have had to attend so many more exams than the group of 8. It was really exhausting for us. But hey, we made it through! The classes, teachers, facilities, and food surpassed all our expectations. We are incredibly grateful for your incredible hospitality and kindness.

I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in November 2023, and it was an incredible journey. Yogmantra Bali’s program was the perfect choice for me.

The curriculum covered everything from anatomy and philosophy to teaching methodology and different yoga techniques like ashtanga, vinyasa, Hatha, and yin yoga. The teachers at Yogmantra had a deep understanding of yoga and balanced traditional teachings with modern applications. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of knowledge they shared. The course was intense, but after the challenging first week, I couldn’t get enough. The teachers were not only highly qualified, but also passionate about what they taught. They created a supportive environment where questions and discussions were encouraged. They knew how to adapt their teachings to suit different learning styles, making the complex subject matter accessible and engaging.

One of the best parts of Yogmantra was that their property was exclusively for yoga teacher training students. Unlike other schools I had visited, which were located in resorts with other guests, Yogmantra provided a dedicated space just for us.

The staff and teachers were always helpful, and the rooms were cleaned every day. The school’s founder, Miss Praju, was present every day and took the time to talk to all the students. I highly recommend Yogmantra and will definitely be back for their 300-hour program. Thank you, Yogmantra, for changing my life.

I absolutely loved every aspect of the school. However, there was this one guy on a solo retreat towards the end of our exams who seemed a bit lost and lonely. We were all so focused on our exams, and I could tell he needed some company. I think it would be a good idea for them to either arrange retreats in groups or schedule them at the beginning or end of the month when students aren’t occupied.
But let me tell you, the accommodation, staff, and teachers were beyond amazing. The rooms were so spacious and clean, and the food was incredibly delicious with a wide variety of flavors. The staff was always there for us, like a second family.
Nitin Ji and Sunil Ji were the best teachers. They taught us practical classes as well as pranayama and meditation. They were so patient and understanding, always pushing us to our limits.
Honestly, these three weeks were the absolute best of my life, and I highly recommend everyone to go and experience it.

I was so disappointed to have to leave because I had the most amazing time of my life. The yoga school at Yogmantra was absolutely incredible. The staff was so helpful and the location was beautiful. The rooms were also gorgeous.

The teachers were wonderful too. Nitin was an amazing yoga instructor who pushed us to achieve more than we thought possible. His teaching skills are truly a gift and I felt so blessed to learn from him. Nitish was incredibly knowledgeable about anatomy and yin yoga. He took the time to correct our alignments with care and precision. Not only was he a great teacher, but he was also kind, patient, and incredibly intelligent.

If you have the chance, you must learn Ayurveda from Wayan. He is like a magician and his energy is so beautiful. Dr. Raj Mohan taught the philosophy of yoga in a way that was both informative and captivating. Each teacher brought a wealth of knowledge to the experience that was second to none.

The food at Yogmantra was delicious, varied, and incredibly healthy. The chefs really amazed us with what they could do with tofu and tempeh.

Overall, this experience was truly life changing. I made friends from all over the world and couldn’t be happier. I can’t recommend Yogmantra enough. It’s truly an incredible place.

It was my first time practicing yoga, but I had a great time in all the classes taught by amazing teachers. They were knowledgeable and made the classes interesting. Plus, they were kind and funny too!

The accommodation was absolutely beautiful. I spent every day swimming in the pool and loved it. The food was also delicious, with a wide variety of options. Personally, I really enjoyed the curry and banana pancakes – they were so tasty!

The entire staff at Yogmantra was incredibly kind and friendly. I felt like part of a family there. Even though it was my first time staying alone for a long period, I never felt lonely or missed my family.

Thank you so much, Yogmantra! I already miss being there.

If you’re grossed out by used mattresses, I suggest bringing your own mattress cover or protector because the one provided wasn’t new or clean enough for my liking. The food was absolutely delicious, but personally, I struggled with the spiciness in most of the meals, leading to stomach pain and bloating. However, the staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating, making sure I had food that suited my needs. They, including the teachers and managers, were all so nice! I wish they had a rooftop or a bigger space/shala to fit 26 students, so we wouldn’t have to be divided into multiple classes. It was really sad for my Filipina classmate during her exam because I was the only student in her class. In another class, my Balinese classmate’s exam only had three of us. I can understand why others might not attend everyone’s class since there are a total of eight classes in one day, and it’s impossible to do ashtanga eight times.

I just want to give credit to teacher Putra for being so supportive and creating a friendly environment. He would join the class and make it feel like he was one of the students. I wish he had been my observer during my exam because my teacher just stared at me the whole time. Not only was she 20 minutes late, but she also seemed disengaged when she arrived in class. It made me feel a bit nervous and uncomfortable, as if someone was watching and judging my every move, which caused me to forget some of my planned poses. I know I’m responsible for my own thoughts and emotions, so I didn’t make a big deal out of it. However, in the future, students could avoid experiencing such negative feelings.

Some positive aspects of the program include its affordability, private rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, the amount of food provided, and the great teachers like Sunil, Putra, and Wayan. I also want to mention that the founder, Praju, is really nice.

I had a great time there as a personal experience, but I believe there are areas that can be improved. Some teachers either lack knowledge or don’t know how to effectively transmit it. Teaching how to be a teacher could definitely use some enhancements. It often felt like a yoga retreat, which was surprising. It was also unexpected that people could skip classes and still receive the certificate. I wish the course had a different structure, so there wouldn’t be an entire week with nothing else to do or talk about. There are many interesting topics that could be explored in more depth.

The staff and most of the teachers were very friendly. However, one thing that bothered me was the teacher in charge of evaluating classes. They seemed disconnected from the group, often staring out the window or at their phone. It was quite upsetting and disrespectful. On the bright side, the food was tasty and had a good variety. The accommodation was also satisfactory, with spacious rooms that were cleaned daily. Having my own room was definitely a highlight.

Just a small suggestion, if any students are staying in the school without doing the course, we should try not to keep them in the school. It’s not a personal issue. First off, I want to express my gratitude to Yogmantra Bali for giving me an unforgettable journey in my life.

If you’re looking for an intense and life-changing yoga teacher training course in Bali, this is the right school. We had 10 hours of classes a day. When I first heard about the 10 hours, I thought it included breaks. But the breaks were only 2 hours and 30 minutes, so the actual contact classes were 10 hours. This helped me improve physically, mentally, and gain more confidence to become a yoga teacher. All the teachers were very helpful. We had 13 students in our group, and there were 2 studios running courses at the same time with 13 students each, but we were still able to spend time all together. If you’re vegan, it might be a bit difficult to adjust to the food for the first week, but you get used to it.

The management was very helpful. The school’s founder, Miss Praju, talked to us every day and if we had any suggestions, the school always tried to implement them as soon as possible. Mr. John was very helpful from the time of booking till the end of the journey.

I want to give a special thanks to all the staff at the school for helping me with everything. One good thing I found was that the property was reserved only for YTC students. This made us all very comfortable.

Thank you also to BookYogaRetreat for allowing only students who booked the course to write a review here. That’s very nice.

Once again, I highly recommend Yogmantra Bali. Thank you for sharing all the knowledge. See you soon for the 300-hour course.

As mentioned above, the food was good but not amazing. However, the rest of the experience was very enjoyable. The yoga teachers hailed from Rishikesh in India, so we knew we were in good hands when it came to learning traditional yoga practices. In addition, the theory classes were really informative, expanding our knowledge of philosophy, anatomy, and even exploring Ayurveda. The only aspect that fell slightly short was the instruction on teaching techniques, but we did get some practice by teaching two classes each. Comparing notes with friends who went through other teacher training programs, it seems like we lucked out with a better experience. Oh, and did I mention the food was good, but not amazing? Finally, the location was exceptional. I was fortunate enough to be at the black sand beach site with just five other students. It was peaceful and somewhat secluded, which made it the perfect environment for learning.

My advice to anyone is to manage your expectations before you book. Think carefully about your personal goals for choosing this experience and do lots of research. Trust your instincts and make sure your decision isn’t solely based on cost, because more often than not, you get what you pay for.

If you’re not vegan, I recommend becoming one at least a month before the program begins. There will be days when tofu is served 2 or even 3 times, so if you don’t enjoy it, this may not be the best menu for you. It can also get repetitive, so if you want some variety, consider purchasing extra fruit on your own.

If you prefer oat milk or soya, be prepared to include that in your budget. The program charges double for these options. I was surprised and a bit disappointed by these additional costs considering the overall price.

It’s important to note that if you have an issue and expect an honest response and a resolution, this may not be the place for you. Also, don’t blindly believe everything you read on the organization’s website.

If you’re over 25 and seeking a spiritual and inclusive experience, this may not be the right place for you. It could be just my perspective, but no matter what happens, if you’re uncomfortable or unhappy, it’ll be seen as your fault and your perspective.

After reading my review, you can take it or leave it. This was my experience, and I genuinely believe it could have been better. The teachers were knowledgeable, informative, and authentic. They were always willing to answer questions, and I learned a lot from them. My yoga practice has improved greatly, and I’m excited to teach my first class.

You’ll discover that you’re stronger than you think, and if you’re open-minded, you’ll uncover more to yoga than just the physical side of it. The knowledge I gained from all the teachers has truly transformed me. If you’re friendly and comfortable around people, you’ll make friends, and this experience will stay with you for life.

Bookyogaretreats or Yoga Mantra did not communicate well with me. They either did not pass on my information to Yoga Mantra or Yoga Mantra ignored my involvement. Finally, just 5 days before the YTT began, Bookyogaretreats was able to connect me with Yoga Mantra after I had requested this information multiple times. They informed me that the dates of the YTT had changed, which resulted in me missing a day of the training. The communication between the two organizations really needs improvement. It was very unprofessional. However, I must say that the vegan food was amazing, the instructors were knowledgeable, the location was unbelievably beautiful, and my classmates were amazing. However, they were able to adjust to it eventually. Overall, I had a great experience and I am very grateful to Yogmantra Bali. To future students, I suggest preparing your mind for a transformation because the course is intense. The first 2 or 3 days might be a bit challenging, but later on, we all started enjoying the classes. The rooms and the property were also up to the mark of what I had seen in pictures. One of the advantages of this school is that each group only has 13 students, so we all received proper attention. Once again, thank you Yogmantra.

There are a lot of ants in the room and there are no hair dryers, toothbrushes or toothpaste… If any Koreans are searching, it might be worth checking out. I am very satisfied after a total of 200 hours of training over 3 weeks. Firstly, the facilities are very clean and the yoga room is also tidy. You can even see the sea outside. I am satisfied that they serve vegan food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are classes from Monday to Saturday and no classes on Sundays (this may vary depending on the situation). The classes run from 6:30 am to 7 pm. Personally, I found it convenient because there weren’t many students. There were only six of us, and it seems like it’s not a very popular place. It seems like there are about 10 people on average. If you want to do yoga teacher training in Bali and want to see jungle or sea views but also want a comfortable place or are afraid of bugs, give it a try. The location is near the zoo, so if you take a taxi, it will take about 40 minutes. On the last day, they also arranged a 1-night tour at a hotel while receiving the certificate. I did a dolphin tour and swam with dolphins in the sea. They offer 1-night stay and meals for free at the yoga center. There are a total of three yoga teachers (two Indians and one Balinese). One Indian teacher named Sachin is excellent. The classes are all conducted in English, but they are easier than I thought. For the final test, we had to create and teach a one hour lesson in each field (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Prenatal – we had to choose 2). There are also about 10 written questions on yoga philosophy. If you want, they can change the food for you each time. The owner is an Indian woman and she is very kind and nice. If there is anything uncomfortable or anything you need, you can send a message through WhatsApp and they will solve it. There is a water purifier on the first floor, so you just need to bring a water bottle. They also provide pens and notebooks. If any Koreans are reading this, I highly recommend it.

Keep in mind, if you’re considering this review, that YTT is all about deepening your knowledge and skills, and this class definitely delivers. I know that the overall experience plays a big role in choosing a YTT course, so I want to be fair and mention that our class did discuss food variety. But honestly, I’ve never stuck to a vegetarian diet for more than 24 hours, so it wasn’t surprising. This is something you’ll find in any yoga YTT review.

Now, let’s talk about the location. The facility is right by a busy road, so you’ll hear traffic noise throughout the day. However, you do get used to it.

Even though I tried not to have any expectations about YTT based on reviews or my personal yoga journey, I was blown away by the instruction, applied skills, and knowledge from all of the Yogmantra instructors. They challenged me every day and by the end of each evening, I was physically drained. But I still felt excited for the next day and energized in the mornings. Our student group had such a diverse range of knowledge, from experienced yogis to absolute beginners, yet the teaching was inclusive and equal. This is where Yogmantra truly shines and should be the main reason for choosing this school.

The facilities were comfortable, clean, and safe. The hotel staff who supported us were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The value of what I learned, the friendships I made, and the overall experience went beyond what I paid for. If I ever come back to Bali to further advance my studies, I would definitely choose this same school.

I absolutely loved my experience at Yogmantra Bali in November 2021! I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to receive my yoga teacher training here. The instruction was truly exceptional, which I believe is the most crucial aspect. The group size, a perfect 13 people in my case, allowed for the right balance of socializing and individual attention. It was just the right amount of energy and focus for each person. Considering the price I paid for this training, I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much, Yogmantra Bali! If I had to offer some feedback, I would mention that the school is situated next to a rather busy road, and I personally would have preferred a quieter location. Additionally, some members of my group had concerns about the repetitive and subpar food, but overall, I found it enjoyable.

I had the best yoga school experience! After completing the 200-hour program, I felt so confident to start teaching not just Yoga, but also the deeper lessons about the mind, body, and soul. The school guarantees 5-star quality, as they explained before I joined. The teachers are extremely professional and experienced. The best part is that it’s not a hotel; it’s specifically designed for yoga teacher training.

I loved it! The teachers and the place were amazing! The first week was tough, but then my body adjusted to it… just like everyone says. But it’s so true… After a week, the food doesn’t taste great anymore, but everything else is fantastic!

I really enjoyed how each teacher at Yogmantra was different and special in their own way. It was an honor to learn from them and hear their expertise and unique perspectives. Ajna, Putra, Azmi, Owen, Flo, and Lloydie, all of them were so special, and I’m grateful that Yogmantra gave me the opportunity to meet and learn from each of them.

Thanks to Yogmantra, I now have a strong foundation and understanding of each yoga style. I’m extremely grateful for this experience.

I also wanted to mention that when I signed up for the course, Indonesia was only allowing business visas. But thanks to the coordinators at Yogmantra, I was able to make it to Indonesia. They dedicated so much time, energy, and effort in helping me with research and paperwork, and they made my travel experience seamless and effortless.

Bali’s lockdown actually helped me stay more focused, so it wasn’t such a bad thing! I had an amazing experience at Yogmantra. The instructors were fantastic – so knowledgeable and kind. They catered to all levels and covered a wide range of yoga styles, from vinyasa to yin, Hatha to prenatal and postnatal, yang to anatomy, pranayama, chakras, meditation, Kundalini… I feel like I really get yoga now. The teachers said things that just made everything click. Azmi, Putra, and Ajna are truly amazing! The food was delicious and the hotel had a great view and a nice pool. Anthony and Praju were super helpful in arranging PCR tests and transportation. I’d recommend Yogmantra to anyone.

It required a lot of hard work, but when I reflect on it now, I’m truly grateful for all that I gained from the experience. I adored every single teacher, the beautiful view, the amazing staff, and the opportunity to connect and form bonds with the other ladies.

The course offers a comprehensive learning experience with Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Prenatal, Postnatal, and Yin Yoga. The teachers are truly knowledgeable and willingly share their expertise. They are patient, attentive, and always ready to answer any questions. Their dedication and enjoyment in what they do make a difference when you’re going through an intense course like this.

The team is highly professional and available to assist you whenever you need them. They take good care of you throughout your stay.

The place itself is fantastic. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The daily cleaning service ensures you have a tidy room to come back to after long days. The service is outstanding, and the breathtaking view, including an ocean view from the yoga shallah, adds to the overall experience. Additionally, there’s a lovely swimming pool that you can enjoy during your breaks.

I had a phenomenal time during the course. I gained a wealth of knowledge and thoroughly enjoyed every single day. I also made some great friends and had plenty of laughter. If you approach it with the right mindset, you’ll undoubtedly have an amazing experience. While the first three days might be intense, you quickly adapt and begin to appreciate the intensity. I highly recommend it!

Oh, and don’t forget about the massages! You can book them any night you like (at your own expense), and they are absolutely incredible!

I was truly amazed by everything about this course. The curriculum, which was intense, well-planned, and well-rounded, exceeded my expectations. I can’t believe how much knowledge I gained and how much my practice improved during my time at YogMantra Bali. The faculty, who are some of the best teachers I’ve ever encountered, and the well-organized administration deserve all the credit for this. When I left YogMantra Bai, I not only had a high quality education, but also a newfound love and passion for yoga. And let’s not forget about the incredible bonds I formed with my fellow students, as well as the teachers and administrators. Thank you, YogMantra Bali, for everything!

The food could be improved a bit, maybe with more variety. But overall, everyone was really nice and caring! The owners were always there on time to help me through a WhatsApp message whenever I had any doubts or needs. They were always prompt in their responses! From the first time I talked to them, I knew it was a safe and perfect place to do this training. They were always on time to pick me up from the airport, even for the PCR tests and quarantine hotel. It was awesome! The accommodation surpassed my expectations by far! The pictures didn’t do it justice. I was expecting something more basic, but it turned out to be a luxurious 5-star hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had an incredible sunrise view. The training was intense, but at the end of the day, after so many yoga classes, we felt great. Each class was important for our growth, both physically and mentally, and to become confident teachers. The teachers were amazing! Most of them were young and wise. They were all humble, caring, and had a wealth of knowledge to share. Azmi, Ajna, and Putra were all very nice, sweet, and inspiring. Even Sara, who assisted Azmi, was always helpful with great tips. I am grateful for this incredible experience, surrounded by wonderful people, in a beautiful place filled with positive energy!

I am extremely grateful to yogmantra for enabling me to gain such valuable skills and experience. I want to express a heartfelt thank you to them for making it possible, especially considering my TTC was during a strict Covid time back in April 2020.

The experience I had was truly immersive, transformative, and authentic. The teaching quality was exceptional, and the personal connection between the teachers and students was a definite advantage. It felt like a complete and intense program that I would highly recommend to both experienced practitioners and beginners alike.

When I left, it felt like leaving a place that had become my second home. Thank you once again.

I am incredibly grateful to all the teachers and team at Yogmantra for completely changing my life. Yoga has been my support system for 14 years of chronic illness, but after going through 2 life-threatening surgeries, I knew it was time to take the next step. Luckily, Yogmantra provided me with that opportunity, which became a turning point in starting my new life. The teaching was absolutely amazing, with the teachers showing immense passion and knowledge. They went above and beyond to cater to the needs of all students. Not only did they focus on the physical practice, but they also delved into the spiritual and healing aspects, as well as anatomy, healing, and Ayurveda. This course truly offers more than any other 200-hour training program.

The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and the support team, Praju and Anthony, made me feel like part of the family. No question or concern was too small for them, and they always went the extra mile to help.

Apart from the training itself, everything else provided was also incredible. The accommodation was stunning, and the weekend trips were fantastic. The entire experience exceeded my expectations and was truly exceptional.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am. This training has greatly supported my healing journey and has been instrumental in starting my new life. From having a 4% chance of survival last year, I am now thriving in Bali, thanks to Yogmantra. The biggest thank you! I can’t wait to return to my new Bali family.
