March 25, 2020 at 12:00 amwe paid for the food had no options.
The surf lesson was too basic, and they didn’t teach enough technique.
They included food in the package for the 9-day trip, but when we booked, they only provided a program with food for 7 days.
The accommodations were too expensive.

June 24, 2018 at 12:00 amEverything was amazing. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The surf instructors were awesome. I couldn’t fault the Canggu surf camp.

January 19, 2018 at 12:00 amWe spent 5 hours a day surfing in Lanzarote, but here we only surf for 2 hours. I personally think 2 hours is way too short; it’s better to take a break and then continue for at least one more hour. The waves and instructors here are great – everyone is helpful and friendly. I have to say, the accommodation at this hostel is possibly the best I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed at many.

June 28, 2017 at 12:00 amBooking through Mojo is much cheaper than through booksurfcamps. I was surprised to hear that some of the other people at the camp were only paying $15 USD per night for their accommodation and $30 USD for a day of surfing. In contrast, I ended up paying $170 USD for the “3 Days, 2 nights surf camp,” which turned out to be just 2 days of surfing and 2 nights of accommodation. Despite this, I did enjoy the experience at Mojo surf camp and found the accommodation to be great. The hostel is new, conveniently located, and has amenities like a pool and free breakfast. The staff was also very nice. However, I would advise against booking through booksurfcamps.

June 20, 2017 at 12:00 amI dislike Mojo’s policy and attitude. They prioritize selling first, even if it means sacrificing the essence of surfing. It’s all about the money, with things like having to pay for renting a surfboard at the surfcamp. Their customer service is inflexible and won’t offer refunds for issues like internet problems.
However, the amazing staff, who work solely for accommodation and food without receiving a salary, make the best out of this situation. Most of them are backpackers. It’s an awesome place with great staff and amazing waves!
