Come join us at The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School in Bali for our hybrid transformative 200-hour yoga teacher training! You have the freedom to design your own training experience to suit your needs and availability. Take part in both online and in-person sessions as per your preference, and make sure to complete the online training after the in-person part comes to a close. It’s time to embark on your yoga teacher training journey and make it truly yours.
When you complete the training, you can register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®).
Our 200-hour hybrid yoga teacher training combines online and in-person sessions. You’ll have access to pre-recorded online sessions, with the option to book one-on-one sessions and receive personalized feedback on your video submissions from our lead teachers. The final exam will be conducted live through Zoom. You’ll join us for the first two weeks of the in-person training, and then complete the remaining two weeks at your own pace online. Once you’ve fulfilled all the requirements, you’ll graduate online. The entire training should be completed within six months to a year, with 100 hours of in-person training and 100 hours of online training. If you choose to join us in Bali for the last two weeks of the in-person training, we recommend completing the online portion first so that you don’t miss any important information and can graduate with the rest of your fellow students. To complete the 200-hour hybrid yoga teacher training, you must fully complete all training modules, either in-person or online. Each online module includes a questionnaire and a written or practical assignment, while the in-person modules require full attendance. After finishing all the modules and a final practical exam, you will receive your digital certificate. As part of our commitment to supporting you on your yoga journey and helping you maintain the healthy practices you learn during the training, we provide all graduates with free access to a seven-day yoga habit course, which we encourage you to start immediately after completing the training. Additionally, we now offer all graduates the opportunity to join The Peaceful Warriors Graduate Lounge, where you can either host or participate in a practice or flow session every Sunday. During the residential yoga teacher training, we also have scheduled evening activities like philosophy lectures, kirtan, movie nights, or meditation.
Our program offers a flexible structure, allowing you to design your own online and in-person experience based on your needs and availability. You have the freedom to choose how long you want to join us in person in Bali and what aspects you prefer to study online. As long as you complete all the requirements, it doesn’t matter whether you complete them online or in person. You can decide how much time to spend in person and how much to complete online. Whether you can only travel to Bali for two weeks, need to work part-time while there, or have family commitments, we can accommodate your unique circumstances. We are always here to guide you on what to complete online and what to do in person, based on your individual needs and availability. We’ll be with you every step of the way.
Our internationally accredited yoga teacher training program provides you with the necessary credentials to teach anywhere in the world. February 14, 2020 at 12:00 amWow, it ended so fast! Thank you so much for such an incredible training experience. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
During the opening circle, they greeted us with big smiles, flowers, and some awesome surprises (I wish I could spill the beans, but that would ruin the fun!).
The teachers were amazing! They were genuine, knowledgeable, and really dedicated to childhood studies. You could tell they’ve invested a lot of time and effort into their field.
At first, it seemed like the course would mainly focus on children’s yoga, but they also emphasized the importance of mindfulness, brain development, and tailoring activities to individual needs. It was a deep course that provided a wide range of tools that will be super helpful in the classroom.
Volunteering with the group was really respectful and eye-opening.
What’s even better is that a portion of the course fee went directly back into the community with a lot of care and thought.
I would highly recommend this training to anyone who works with young learners.
Enjoy every moment of it!

February 9, 2020 at 12:00 amI was really let down by the teaching and content in this course. It fell way below what I was expecting. They didn’t pay much attention to the health and safety of teaching kids yoga, and they hardly gave us any practical information on a child’s body. It’s disappointing, especially in a world where we prioritize the well-being of children.
Our instructor didn’t seem to have a good understanding of yoga basics, like anatomy and philosophy. It made me question everything else they taught us during the course.
They could have managed the time much better. We spent too much time on games and coloring, and not enough time actually learning important things like anatomy, health, safety, and how to set up a class. It feels like they focused more on marketing the course than on the actual content, which made the whole thing feel shallow.
Overall, I’m really disappointed with the teaching and content. The materials they provided were nice, but it seemed like more effort went into the appearance than the substance.
On a positive note, we did have some great guest speakers. The inner child workshop and sound healing workshop exceeded my expectations. They were filled with practical exercises and fantastic content.

February 8, 2020 at 12:00 amI want to do it again! I didn’t have any expectations when I booked this course, but I knew there would be a lot of information packed into that time. I absolutely loved every second of it. Jeanne has an amazing way of capturing your attention and teaching in a way that makes you want to learn more. She opens up a whole new world in your mind and is truly inspiring. Visiting the school and getting hands-on experience was such a heartwarming experience. Connecting with young people in a different country and community really opens your eyes. I would recommend this course to anyone who works with kids or is interested in understanding the human mind. It was such an amazing experience. Thank you Jeanne, Peaceful Warriors, and Serenity for creating this beautiful experience.

December 22, 2019 at 12:00 amI loved everything about it! The teachers were incredibly passionate, engaging, and supportive. They really made the course enjoyable. The structure of the course was excellent, and I especially loved that we had a yang class every day in addition to all the yin classes. The amount of practice teaching, feedback, and support we received on a daily basis was amazing. Thanks to that, I now feel confident in teaching Yin classes. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to become a yoga teacher.

November 18, 2019 at 12:00 amI signed up for professional growth, and it has completely transformed me as a person. I absolutely adored the entire course and Jeanne Welsh, the instructor, was absolutely phenomenal. Her energy and positivity are so contagious, you can’t help but be influenced by them. The free resources provided were also top-notch!
Now, my classmates and I have formed a strong bond because we all recognize our ability to positively impact children’s lives through mindful thinking. It’s truly incredible what we can accomplish, one thought at a time.

September 12, 2019 at 12:00 amThe accommodation doesn’t offer great value for money with their meal packages. But don’t worry, there are plenty of amazing places to eat nearby with enough time in the schedule. Plus, they have a basic kitchen that we often used for breakfast.
I absolutely loved the course content and how they paid attention to every little detail. Each teacher gave their own personal input and shared their knowledge and understanding. The shala was simply beautiful and it created a great atmosphere that felt like home. Bente and Maria really held a safe space for us to go through our own personal journeys.
The group was incredibly supportive, and I think that came from their leadership. We learned so much about yoga and other related subjects, like yoga history and anatomy, in great depth. They also organized plenty of activities that added to the whole experience. For me, visiting the water temple was especially memorable.

September 9, 2019 at 12:00 amLooking back, the training was so incredible and unique that it’s hard for me to find anything that I didn’t like so much. Overall, there was a lot of program every day (which is good because you get a lot of input in a short amount of time). However, I did find it a bit challenging to digest everything I learned. It’s definitely recommended (if you have the time) to spend a few more days on the beautiful island to relax and let it all sink in 😉
I stayed in a single room in the accommodation, which had a really high bunk bed. Towards the end of the month, this became a bit annoying.
The yoga shala is well-equipped with mats and props. However, I had my travel mat with me because the mats at the school didn’t appeal to me that much.
Honestly, it’s really hard for me to find something that I didn’t like at all. It was an incredibly educational, eye-opening, and magical journey to becoming a yoga teacher. The entire training was well thought out and each session built upon the previous one. The learning material was super interesting and definitely sparked the desire to delve deeper into the topics.
The teachers are loving, open-minded, and passionate. It was so much fun to be taught by them and to learn from them.
Before the training, I thought I was participating mainly to improve my own yoga practice. However, we learned so much about teaching and creating yoga flows that I have now decided to become a teacher myself 🙂 I want to pass on all the wonderful things I experienced to others.
The location of the school is in a quieter side street, which is great for sleeping and studying. However, the beach is a bit far to walk, but there are plenty of delicious cafes and restaurants nearby.
The yoga sessions were very comprehensive. It wasn’t just about the yoga practice, but rather diving into the entire world of yoga with theory sessions, pranayama, meditation, and so on. Besides the yoga classes, we also had surfing lessons, a massage, and a temple excursion. I must say, I really liked the overall package.
I can wholeheartedly recommend thepeacefulwarriors to 100%!

September 7, 2019 at 12:00 amEverything was amazing. Rachel and Jody have created a beautiful environment together. I learned so much in the 50 hour training and I’m really excited to take what I learned back home and apply it! I felt safe asking questions, voicing my opinions, and receiving feedback. It was a wonderful experience. The only negative thing is that the training isn’t 100 hours!

July 18, 2019 at 12:00 amI wasn’t disappointed at all. The yoga teachers were excellent! They knew their stuff, kept things interesting, and really got us all engaged. They delivered the lessons with so much enthusiasm and passion. And the location was just amazing! I stayed at the Oasis, which was top-notch. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious and healthy breakfast, along with some tasty treats from the Cafe across the street. By the end of the week, I felt completely rejuvenated and inspired. The group had people from all over the world, and everyone was incredibly friendly. Going alone was no issue at all.

September 18, 2018 at 12:00 amI really wish they had delved deeper into the philosophy and history of yoga, but I get that there’s only so much you can cover in such a short and intense time! My YTT was so much fun! We covered a wide range of subjects, from anatomy to philosophy to Ayurveda, so I was always eager to learn more. The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and the yoga classes were fantastic! Each person in the course was attracted to different aspects, which gave us the opportunity to explore our own passions and dive deeper into them. I also loved the balance between challenging lectures and enjoyable workshops like aerial and acro yoga! With the asana lab, we were teaching one another right from the start, and with Bente/Maria/Lala always there to help, we were more than prepared to teach by the time the final practical came around. Canggu is absolutely the perfect place for yoga – so relaxed and laid-back, with incredible food and beautiful beaches. What’s not to love!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned. The ytt program covers a wide range of topics like ayurveda and nutrition, which I really appreciate. The shala, which faces the beautiful rice fields, is the perfect place to practice. And let’s not forget the amazing Monday breakfast for all the food lovers out there. This has been an unforgettable human experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who loves yoga.

May 7, 2018 at 12:00 amThe training at Peaceful Warriors was incredibly well thought out. I honestly can’t think of anything that could have been improved. It exceeded my expectations in every way possible! Not only did I learn about the Asana practice and the physical aspects of Yoga, but the training also delved into so much more – Anatomy, meditation, breathing, the history and philosophy of Yoga, Nutrition, Ayurveda, and more. It really put the yoga practice and lifestyle into a more holistic context.
Every class I attended gave me a deeper understanding of not just yoga, but also myself. I felt like I was growing and expanding as a person, which is crucial if you want to share your practice with others.
Bente and Maria, the main teachers of the YTT, are truly dedicated, inspiring, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their teaching methods complement each other, which exposes us to various ways of teaching right from the start. They’re always available to answer any questions throughout the training.
The guest teachers were also amazing experts and added so much value to our learning experience.
Bente and Maria gradually introduced us to the idea of teaching, starting with peer-teaching and small groups, before we gained enough confidence to teach the whole class.
The practice space was simply stunning, located overlooking Bali’s rice fields. Waking up to the sunrise before practice was absolutely priceless.
The teachers did a fantastic job of fostering a strong team spirit throughout the training. The group dynamic was incredible.
That’s why I wholeheartedly recommend this YTT without any hesitation.

Helpful ReviewIf you ever have the chance to do a yoga teacher training abroad, the Peaceful Warriors YTT in Bali is a must! The teachers are top-notch and they make the experience so much fun and inspiring. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to be such a life-changing training, but it definitely was. And I was incredibly lucky to have met and connected with 25 incredible people from all over the world. I truly consider them my yoga family from the Peaceful Warriors YTT in January 2018.
