February 1, 2024 at 11:02 amI attended a somatic movement yoga session with Indira that was incredibly calming due to the small class size. The teacher was patient and thoughtful, and I left feeling restored. The location was peaceful and quiet, making it a preferable choice over the busier yoga studios in the area. I would highly recommend it.

November 25, 2023 at 11:02 amI am completely enamored with this location. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning – reminiscent of a true Indiana Jones adventure, with a picturesque path winding through a lush jungle or garden, leading to a cave-like space where the yoga classes are held. The fact that all the instructors are Balinese adds to the charm. I recently participated in a gentle morning flow class and I am eager to return. As I always bring my own yoga mat with me, I cannot speak to the quality of the mats provided, but I did not notice any cleanliness issues at the facility.

November 17, 2023 at 11:02 amHidden away in a stunning location, this studio opens up into a lush jungle once you step inside. It’s hard to believe you’re in the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. We joined a morning vinyasa class, which was both challenging and rewarding. The small class size allowed for personalized attention and adjustments from the instructor. A soothing face and shoulder massage at the end was a delightful treat after the intense workout. I would absolutely come back for more!

July 2, 2023 at 11:02 amAs the sole student in the class, I received personalized attention from the excellent and adaptable instructor. The session focused on relaxation and releasing tension, particularly in the jaw muscles. I haven’t felt my neck this relaxed in years! Many thanks to Indra for being such a fantastic instructor.

May 23, 2023 at 11:02 amI attended a yoga class with a great instructor and a beautiful setting, but the facility was disgustingly dirty. The mat and floor reeked, and I developed a rash on my legs from the mat. I would not recommend going here, but if you do, make sure to bring your own mat.

February 22, 2023 at 11:02 amI felt like I wasted both my money and time. I highly do not recommend Astri’s Yin Yoga class. The instructor only taught us 4 poses in a 90-minute class. She spent 15-20 minutes going over basic yoga information, which felt too long. It seemed like she was not focused on the class, as she would often get distracted by her phone instead of checking on the students. It felt like I paid to take a nap and get mosquito bites.

February 6, 2023 at 11:02 amI had the pleasure of attending a small class of 1-7 students in a cool valley classroom with incredibly fresh air. Throughout my 4 lessons, Intra’s Restorative Yoga session stood out as the most impressive, leaving my body feeling remarkably relaxed and comfortable. This experience has become one of my most cherished yoga memories.

January 16, 2023 at 11:02 amTaksu offers exceptional Sound Healing sessions, also known as Sound Baths, which provide a soothing experience similar to a massage but using sound vibrations instead of touch. The intimate environment adds to the magic of the experience, creating a cozy and beautiful setting.
Led by Kate, a practitioner with experience at The Pyramids of Chi, the sound healing sessions begin with relaxing on a comfortable mat with pillows, blankets, and an eye mask. Throughout the hour-long session, various healing instruments such as ancient gongs, crystal singing bowls, didgeridoos, and drums are played by Kate. It is common to drift off to sleep during the session, but you wake up feeling rejuvenated.
Having attended two sessions myself, I always leave feeling a sense of bliss. I highly recommend trying out a Sound Healing session at Taksu!
