The teachers have very black and white viewpoints, a healthy balance is rarely taught.

The whole house is dirty, the rooms had a lot of mold. Mushrooms have grown in the bathroom.

Almost everyone got sick (viruses and dengue fever), the school did not take care and claimed it was due to the weather change (I would have liked to see a little more responsibility, also towards the healthy students).

A lot of pictures are taken for social media, and sometimes it felt more like a marketing event than an authentic experience.

Overall, it was an adventurous experience. If you are insensitive to dirt and mold and are not looking for relaxation but discipline and many rituals, this is the right place for you. The food is okay, easy to digest but always very similar.

The teachers are experienced and provide good instruction.

The sunrise trip to the mountains was very beautiful.

The group was international, it was a very pleasant and harmonious atmosphere.

    – The description contains a few incorrect details: there is no massage included, you don’t meditate in a cave, and classes start at 5am. There were also no dedicated lessons about Tantra.
    – It’s worth noting that if you do the 100H program like I did, you’ll be with students doing the 200-hour training, which means you only have half of the total classes. In Kundalini, I only had lessons on 3 chakras out of 7.
    – From my perspective, it’s unlikely to become a Kundalini yoga teacher after the 100H training, even if it’s mentioned in the description or if you’re already a Yoga Teacher of other styles. You only see half the program, and Kundalini is a deep and complex practice.
    – Some of the teacher’s behaviors were a bit off: texting during class, not being very hands-on with adjustments, leaving early. But overall, he’s a good teacher.
    – Personally, I didn’t connect with the Guru’s speeches. I felt a sense of elitism in comparing us as yogis to others who aren’t seeking self-improvement. The 5am meditations sometimes turned into lectures, which wasn’t what I wanted that early in the morning. I completed the 100H Kundalini training.
    – The teachers are knowledgeable and willing to share their experiences. I learned a lot and paid close attention to get the most out of the classes, despite the early wake-up calls. The philosophy and Mantra classes with Mandeep Ji were unforgettable.
    – The Kundalini classes are intense and transformative – it’s more than just teacher training, and you’ll leave a different person than when you arrived.
    – Overall, the staff is very friendly, and I loved the food.
    – The location is fantastic, with a quiet street but close to all facilities. You can swim in the Ganga at lunch break and there are hiking paths nearby.
    – You’ll meet amazing people here!
    – A huge thank you for this incredible experience!

I accidentally booked myself in for both my 200 hours and 300 hours at the same school, so I ended up spending two very intense months in the same place with the same teachers. The only difference was one class in the morning, but thankfully, the teachers were outstanding and I can’t thank them enough for sharing their knowledge.

My main critique is that after completing 500 hours of “teacher training,” I still don’t feel like a yoga teacher. There wasn’t enough teaching practice and feedback provided. However, I did gain a wealth of knowledge in areas such as anatomy, philosophy, and pranayama. I’m now inspired to maintain a regular self-practice, which might lead me to teaching in the future once my confidence grows.

The course was challenging, with early wake-up times at 4:30am and classes finishing as late as 8:30pm. It was mentally and physically demanding. Sometimes the energy felt overwhelming when I was already pushed to my limits, but I believe it was all done with good intentions. The best part of this school was the teachers. I am grateful to all of them – Praveen, Ashu, Mandeep, Shobit, Anant, Sandeep Ji, Swarmi Ji, and Amit. They are experts in their fields and understand how yoga impacts the mind and body in all forms. I’ll cherish these classes forever and have recorded some of the teachers’ chants and mantras to listen back to when I need a reminder.

The food and kitchen staff were amazing, ensuring no one ever went hungry. The cleaning staff felt like family after my first month, and the reception staff worked tirelessly to keep things running smoothly. The rooms were as expected for an ashram, with my first month in a 6-bed dorm and the second month in a private room – both were standard and clean.

When I raised an issue with a class, Hari Priya was kind, caring, and open to listening to my feedback. She made me feel heard and respected.

We had the opportunity to meet various people and groups associated with the Guru, as well as enjoyed talks and performances from outside the course, which was a nice change of pace.

The excursions were lovely, although if you do the 500-hour program, you’ll have the same excursions both months.

I found some classes to be more about giving an experience rather than teaching us how to properly instruct a Kriya or Sadhana. It’s great to have that experience, but I believe it’s just as important to focus on teaching us how to lead a Kriya class. There’s a big difference between a Yoga Retreat and a Yoga Teacher Training. When I signed up for the training, I really wanted to learn how to teach yoga. And I think many other students felt the same way.

The website clearly mentions that the training includes ‘Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan’. That’s actually why I chose this school over others. But during the course, these traditional practices like Many Poses, 10 Bodies, Sat Kriya, and So Darshan Chakra Kriya were not taught. I later found out that the school decided not to teach them anymore. That’s fine, but it’s important to update the information on the website so students know what to expect.

I really admired the teachers’ passion. You could tell they were teaching from the heart, which is crucial for us students. I loved the Philosophy and Pranayama Class with Mandeep Ji, who is so inspiring with his devotion to the ancient teachings. The Kundalini Kriya Classes with Praven Ji and Hari Priya were also amazing and transformative. They were definitely the highlight of the course for me.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic – seriously! I also appreciated the opportunity to visit a sacred temple and take a pre-dawn dip in the Ganga. It’s an experience I’ll never forget.

I’m grateful for all the wonderful people I met during the training. Infinite gratitude and blessings to everyone at Kundalini/Samadhi/World Peace!

It’s tough to be negative, but I have to share my perspective in this review.

I had an issue with one of the teachers who led the hatha class. When a teacher tells students that 90% of the effort needs to come from them while he sits on the couch, staring at his phone, and giving instructions half-heartedly, I’m out! I only attended a few classes and skipped the rest. A teacher’s enthusiasm should inspire the class, not the other way around. His ego was too much for me!

I really enjoyed my stay. The teachers were excellent, the location was lovely, the food was amazing, all the staff were friendly, and our group was awesome!

I sometimes feel like we’re outnumbered and not getting all the attention we need. This experience can change your life, whether you’re planning to be a teacher or not. It’s worth every penny.

I stumbled upon this amazing kundalini yoga center after searching for a certification program. These guys don’t realize it, but what I’ve learned here has far exceeded my expectations. I’m almost done with the 200-hour training and I can’t wait for the 300-hour program. Huge thanks to Guru Vishnu and the staff for an incredible experience!

At first, their Mikrophon had a really bad sound and it was hard to understand them. But they fixed their problem and now they have new Mikrophons, so you can understand them well.

Just remember, dear school, that sound is really important. I did the 200h online training and I really liked it.

The teachers are great and I want to take the 300h course as well.

The microphone or internet had some issues, but we have a team of experts on site to fix them at the time. I had a wonderful experience with the Kundalini Yoga Ashram India. The teachers have deep knowledge and experience of yoga according to the Vedas and ancestors, and they are really charming and kind. I took a 200-hour Kundalini Yoga teacher training in self-paced mode and it worked for me. I had an amazing experience and learned a lot. The training content is extensive and covers many important topics for teachers. In addition to the recorded class videos, there was an opportunity to contact the teachers and ask questions related to training or any doubts. They were all open and willing to help. I highly recommend this school. I found exactly what I was looking for and I plan to take two more trainings with them. Thank you Guruji Vishnu and the teachers for sharing your knowledge with the world on site, online, and in self-paced mode. Namaste.
