The rooms at the resort were amazing, but some of the neighbors could get a bit loud since sound carries so well in this beautiful location. There was a great social atmosphere and the food was top-notch with a wide range of classes to choose from. We really enjoyed using the steam room and cold plunge. We even rented a scooter from the resort to explore the island. Checking in and out was a breeze, and they provided seamless shuttle service to the ferry terminal. The resort had a diverse mix of guests including singles, couples, and groups. Overall, everything was kept nice and tidy, and they made sure to keep our rooms stocked with plenty of water.

The classes were full, which wasn’t very pleasant. You end up accidentally touching the people next to you in every position because it was so crowded. I decided to skip some classes and take more time for myself to relax and have a positive experience. There were some teachers who were a real joke, like this one named Nadja. She had a really bad vibe, wouldn’t even say hi, and got defensive when asked questions. She kept talking about another retreat that she thought was better and recommended everyone go there instead. It was weird since we were all there and paid to be at that place for the same reason. Also, she would sit outside smoking cigarettes a lot, which didn’t sit well with me. I did like the location and the food, though. The facility was great, except for the smell around the houses. It smelled like crap everywhere, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The location is amazing – you feel like you’re on the edge of the world. But sometimes it can be challenging because the nearest village is a bit far and you have to take a taxi (unless you can drive a scooter). And taxis are quite expensive – like all Thai islands.

When booking, I recommend opting for a private accommodation. The dorms are usually crowded with 5-6 people sharing a small space, and the center is always busy. So, if you want some privacy, a private room is a better choice. This could be one of the best retreats ever! Located in the middle of a lush forest, Wonderland provides access to high-quality facilities – always clean and very comfortable. This includes an amazing pool, sauna, and spa. The food is a highlight – the most delicious vegan food you can imagine.

The instructors are very professional, offering various levels and styles of yoga and meditation. The place completely lives up to its name, it truly is a Wonderland and a healing space for anyone looking for peace, connection, and equanimity.

We loved Wonderland! We couldn’t get enough of the dreamy place and the amazing classes. Everyday, there were plenty of options to try out new yoga styles, open to all levels. We also really enjoyed the other classes like Women’s Circle and Tibetan Singing Bowl Healing.

The vegan buffet was a dream come true, changing daily and never failing to impress us. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind.

If you stay longer than a week, some workshops may repeat a bit, but making small changes to the schedule or adding something new would be great. You can also revisit the ones you enjoyed or take a break and relax. I initially planned on 7 days at Wonderland, but ended up extending my stay by 4 days. It’s a truly magical place with the option to attend up to 6 workshops daily, enjoy the pool and sauna, and meet amazing people. The instructors are all incredible and some are even inspiring. I opted for a private room, which was fantastic. They clean it daily and ensure you have enough water each day. The food is absolutely delicious – I tried some of the best falafel there! I wish I could have stayed longer, but I will definitely be returning.

The resort was filling up quickly by the end of my stay. The yoga classes grew increasingly crowded, making it hard to move without being careful not to bump into someone. We even ran out of mats and pillows a few times. It’s no wonder people keep coming back to this place – I had a great time!

I’m a beginner in yoga, but I never felt lost thanks to the teachers offering variations of poses so everyone could join in. My week there was amazing, I learned a lot about yoga and myself.

I really enjoyed the variety of classes available throughout the day – from yoga and meditation to lectures.

I stayed in a dorm that was impeccably clean and loved it. The food was delicious, and I looked forward to dinner every day.

There were plenty of communal areas to socialize and relax, as well as space to be alone if you wanted.

I thought the water refill stations were great – no need for plastic bottles!

Meal schedules are as follows: breakfast and lunch are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and dinner is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. I would suggest extending the hours by an extra hour in both cases. I would also add an additional class between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., as there was previously nothing during that timeframe. There is a wide variety of classes available, such as aromatherapy, sound healing, Vipassana meditation, loving-kindness meditation, Hatha yoga, and more. The food is delicious. The decoration is lovely and every detail is well thought out. The teachers are very professional, and the rooms are cleaned daily.

It’s really busy and crowded here. It feels more like a resort with classes instead of a calm retreat. The atmosphere isn’t very welcoming or friendly, and you won’t get much feedback or guidance to improve your yoga practice with the teachers. The classes are still enjoyable though. The teachers and staff from the West could be a bit warmer and friendlier. The food is fantastic, there are plenty of classes each day, and the whole place looks amazing!

I had an issue with the general quality of the yoga classes. Out of the 14 classes I took, I felt that only 3 were taught by top-notch instructors. Most instructors brought people into a pose without giving proper guidance on how to be in the pose. There were few anatomical cues and almost no breath work, making it hard to stay present. I wished the instructors paid more attention to students, as they would demo the pose and hold it the entire time themselves. As a certified yoga instructor, I felt that the classes lacked engagement and energy.

The only time I received an assist the whole week was when a teacher touched students without asking for permission. I believe that some reviews labeled the classes as beginner style, but beginner classes actually require more cues than intermediate ones to ensure the pose is being maintained accurately. I wished Wonderland had a higher standard for the quality of classes offered, with instructors like Amber or Raj teaching more often. Ewa’s Reiki session was worth every penny, and the food was great. Raj’s Kundalini and Amber’s Flow classes were impeccable. I enjoyed David’s Hatha stretch and Nadja’s meditation. All the specials were a must-do, and I left having a great spiritual experience. The staff was awesome, and the sauna was fantastic.

Overall, I really enjoyed the retreat and would do it again. The meditations and specials alone made it worth it. I do miss the pool though!

You couldn’t really walk anywhere, but you could if you really wanted to. It would’ve been a bit of a stretch. I wish the retreat would offer a shuttle to the town and back at least once a day for people who need to do some shopping or whatever. The massage was great, but it was a little pricey. One instructor led the healing class wonderfully, making me believe she is better suited as a mindfulness coach rather than a yoga/pilates instructor. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the lack of harmony in the class and the deviation from the proper pilates flow sequence. For example, we started with pilates 100s before anything else, and breath was never mentioned.

In addition, myself and another girl from my dorm experienced food poisoning from the dinner, which was a real letdown. It seems like we were the only ones affected though. The setting itself is beautiful and great for relaxation. Everyone was friendly and I met a lot of people.

None of the three instructors I wanted to review are included in the list. Two of them taught a great class that was well-structured. I appreciated the challenging flow, but overall it seemed more geared towards beginners in yoga.

I observed that most of the attendees at the retreat were very young and I didn’t find it particularly friendly, which is unusual for a yoga retreat. The staff and instructors were fantastic, but I wonder how it would have been for an absolute beginner since most classes were at an intermediate level or higher. If you’ve never done yoga before, this might not be the right place for you. There are plenty of classes and activities every day that you can choose to participate in. The facilities are well-maintained and the setting is beautiful. They offer a wide range of classes and I really liked the room. Overall, it’s a really special place.

I noticed some things missing in the dorm: there weren’t plug and reading light for each bed, and the metal bunk beds were making a lot of noise, risking waking up the person underneath you. But everything else was perfect.

Classes were really good, with a schedule of 1 morning meditation and 2 morning yoga classes. In the afternoon, there was 1 more meditation class and 1 more yoga class. You could choose how to manage your days. There was always a break between 11:30 and 15:00 with no classes, where you could enjoy the pool or hammam, or go for a scooter/bike ride.

Food was served from 9-13:00 and 18:00-20:00, with nothing in between, but you could order a smoothie or go to a restaurant nearby. The food was vegan and good, the hammam was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an amazing stay and can only recommend it.

The meditation sessions take some getting used to, especially if you’re used to meditating for max. 25 minutes in your daily life. It’s quite a challenge not to fall asleep since they are pretty long in the retreat. Unfortunately, I was sick for the first two days, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to heal. They took care of me and I was able to move to a private room at short notice. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten better so quickly. The food was simply delicious and always fresh! The yoga classes were really nice, I was able to relax completely. Unfortunately, because of my illness, I could only attend 2 classes. There’s definitely a huge variety of yoga classes available and I’m sure there’s something for everyone:) The place itself is just magical. So many amazing people come together there, and you feel right at home from the first moment!

We had to escape through the window at 4am because of the flooding in the dormitory, and a lot of my clothes got ruined. I got sick with a “virus” or food poisoning and was bedridden for three days. I couldn’t eat anything. The atmosphere is calm, people are friendly, and outdoor activities are only twice a week. The breakfast is tasty but starts a bit late at 9am. The evening meals are excellent and different every day. The yoga lessons and meditation sessions are enjoyable.

Most yoga classes just focus on pure asana or fitness, even if they’re supposed to be Level 1. I prefer other types of yoga. Unfortunately, Wonderland didn’t offer Sound healing, Wim Hof, or Mantra Chanting workshops while I was there. Make sure to check the schedule before you come! Wonderland is such a beautiful place to be! I had a great time and now feel purified, relaxed, and connected to my inner peace. I loved starting my day with Yaron’s Vipassana Meditations. It’s the best way to begin your day. Raj’s Kundalini Hatha classes were amazing, and Liz’s Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy workshop was fantastic. The women’s circle with Amor was lovely, and Stephanie’s classes were also great. And don’t even get me started on the delicious food! Enjoy your time in paradise! ❤️

I really enjoyed my time in Wonderland. The people were very nice, the food was excellent. It was clean and the yoga classes were great too. Personally, Yin Yoga wasn’t much of a challenge for me but the classes are perfect for beginners. I also decided to extend my stay because I felt comfortable, and it wasn’t a problem at all, the staff are very kind. The location is a bit hard to get to, but if you have a scooter it’s easier, otherwise you can just order a taxi from the hotel.

We were there for four days. We got the worst stomach virus on the last night. We couldn’t move for three days. We had fever, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. It feels like we wasted our money and health. We feel cheated that we paid and then got sick, instead of feeling better after leaving. It’s difficult to give a bad review, but after feeling so terrible, I have to share it with others. The yoga classes were nice and the teachers were good.

I arrived in October for an eight day retreat and found the area to be beautiful, green, and inviting. The facilities were great and the yoga teachers were very experienced. But what made it feel like a Wonder land was the togetherness atmosphere. At the buffet restaurant, long tables allowed me to meet like minded people from all around the world. Conversations quickly became deep and I developed a sense of belonging. When I left, I had made some great new connections and was trying to understand how to bring the benefits of Wonderland into my daily life at home.

I spent 7 nights in the dorm room at Wonderland. It wasn’t the best dorm I’ve stayed in, but hey, you’re just there to sleep anyway. During the day, there are lots of classes like different types of yoga and meditation, lectures, and activities such as a hike to a waterfall or a sunset tour. The best part is, you can choose what you want to do. If you feel like chilling out, you can hang out by the pool, use the sauna, or get a massage.

And let’s talk about the food – it’s amazing! I’m usually a vegetarian, and they had a vegan buffet that was absolute heaven for me. Everything was delicious.

I overheard some people saying they’ll probably come back every year now. And you know what? I totally agree with them.

The vegan buffet is delicious with a variety of international dishes to try. They offer economic and reliable laundry service. Throughout the day, they have different types of meditations and yoga classes, as well as talks, movies, and fire nights. Enjoy their sauna, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, and lounging areas. They also offer complimentary trips to hike in the jungle and visit the beach. You can try out various holistic treatment modalities and Thai Massage. This place is truly a wonderland, I highly recommend visiting.

The evening programs at Wonderland were a mix of different things, but they felt a bit disorganized. They had schedules up that were easy to follow, but some of the topics for the evening were a bit unclear. They brought in instructors who would sometimes introduce themselves and talk about their experiences, while others would just start talking without any formal introduction. I was interested in joining, but without more information, I didn’t want to risk feeling awkward if I didn’t like the session.

Overall, Wonderland was a great place to relax, heal, and hang out with people who shared similar interests. Some days had structured classes, while others were perfect for lounging by the pool, getting a massage, or just chilling out in different spots around the resort. I met a few people who had been there before and loved it so much they came back. I stayed at Wonderland for my entire trip and didn’t feel the need to venture out because the food and the social scene were both amazing. The food was fresh, varied, and delicious, and it was a great opportunity to try new things that I still enjoy now that I’m back home.

I tried both and they were amazing, but not what you might think based on the names. It’s a truly magical place. In the 4 days I spent there, I relaxed and rejuvenated more than I ever would at a typical beach resort. The schedule is packed with activities for everyone’s taste. Despite heavy rain keeping us indoors for days, it didn’t feel like a punishment because there was so much to do. The food was great – even as a non-vegan, I enjoyed the vegan options. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the welcome. We didn’t receive any information about how things ‘work’ and the promised welcome drink or yoga consultation when we made the booking. Just a quick chat about how the classes operate, what you want to get from it, and any injuries would have made a huge difference. It was also unclear what was included, as we had to renegotiate for a daily smoothie each day, which was listed in the booking.

Aly and Lauren were great instructors, with their warm welcome and active interest in adapting postures and giving feedback to people. However, some other teachers gave a rather unfriendly welcome, making the atmosphere cold and full of ego. The lack of interaction made the sessions feel robotic and unenthusiastic.

There wasn’t enough room in some classes, and it felt like the site was overbooked, meaning people couldn’t attend all the sessions they wanted. It was disappointing when a hike was cancelled due to weather and we weren’t informed.

On a positive note, the site itself was attractive and well-maintained, and the food was really great.

Wonderland is a great place for those looking for a safe environment and to connect with like-minded people. However, it can feel a bit like a Western bubble and lacking in Thai food options. The center is not nestled in the mountains as expected, but the grounds are flat and accessible. Having a scooter is helpful to explore the area. Wonderland offers a fantastic daily schedule of classes and special events for those interested in meditation and yoga. The yoga teachers are top-notch and the food is delicious. While the treatments are a bit pricey, there is a nice variety to choose from at the center.

My experience had a low point when I got COVID because my Day 1 roommate was positive but was told to keep going to classes and act normal. She ended up checking out on Day 2 and told me she had COVID the whole time. I ended up getting COVID myself 5 days later after spending the night in the dorm room with her. Wonderland believes everyone is constantly exposed to asymptomatic people, but I hadn’t gotten COVID in 2 years until now. I isolated myself for 5 days to protect others, which is important in my culture. I wish I had been informed about my roommate’s situation so I could’ve moved to a private room. The lesson learned is if you’re worried about COVID, book a private room at Wonderland.

Despite the setback, I stayed at Wonderland for weeks to focus on yoga and meditation and found it to be a great experience. I tried a variety of classes and learned a lot in just 3 weeks. The sessions opened my mind to new understanding that I took back home with me. I also made many new friends there and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I plan to return in the future, possibly with my daughter, as there were other kids there and a great pool for her to enjoy. It was a trip that exceeded my expectations and provided exactly what I needed.

My boyfriend and I discovered Wonderland in Koh Phangan for the first time and we can’t stop talking about it to everyone we meet. The yoga classes here last an hour and a half and cater to every level, and I was amazed at how much I improved in just one week, despite having practiced yoga for years. With a variety of yoga teachers and styles, you’re sure to find something that suits you. There are at least 3 yoga classes and 3+ meditation classes offered daily, exceeding our expectations.

My boyfriend tagged along because I love yoga, but by the end of our stay, he was even doing handstands! The vegan buffet served for brunch and dinner was not only filling and delicious but also a healthy change from the typical Thai food. If you don’t have a bike, it might be tough to explore the island. You’d pretty much have to stay at the retreat, which isn’t a bad thing! The 6er Dorms are okay but not luxurious. The beds wobble and squeak; there is only the main room light, so you easily disturb each other; there are no closets, so clothes always lay in the backpack on the floor; bed curtains would be nice for some privacy, a shelf by the bed to put things on would also be useful. All of this didn’t really bother me in the first week because everything else was great, but unfortunately in my second week it got very crowded in Wonderland… we squeezed over 40 people into the shala, and it definitely wasn’t fun anymore. If you were late, you couldn’t participate. The relaxed family atmosphere was lost during meals. Waiting in line, waiting, or even not getting any food anymore. Drinks were empty late at night, no towels available, etc… Very unfortunate, the first week was truly fantastic… The quiet jungle location, beautifully designed, varied weekly program> great for trying new things, family-oriented, casual atmosphere, very mixed audience, the steam sauna, everything well-maintained and clean, the buffet is really fantastic.

The yoga class level depends on the participants, so it mainly consisted of beginners. It wasn’t really advanced. I think it would be lovely if they added a class for intermediate yogis. I absolutely adored wonderland. The food was amazing – a vegan buffet for every meal. I am honestly speechless about how good the food was. And you even get a free shake or coconut every day, which are also incredible. Plus, unlimited coffee with almond or coconut milk and a self-serve tea station. The camp itself is stunning and everyone has such positive energy. It was a fantastic experience. I learned a lot from the meditation classes. The classes offered were top-notch. I can’t praise how much I loved it enough.

Saying my time at Wonderland was life-changing is an understatement. People from all walks of life come to Wonderland for different reasons. The welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere at Wonderland creates a safe space for deep healing. I was able to let go of many things and reflect on my limiting beliefs. The food was amazing and the sauna and cold plunge pool were highlights. There is a wide variety of classes, yoga styles, and meditation techniques. I enjoyed my time so much that I decided to extend my stay. Koh Phangan is truly a magical paradise. After my incredible two weeks at Wonderland, I’m excited to return in 3 weeks to start my Yoga Teacher Training.

The accommodation disappointed me. It’s very basic. There’s no shelf near the bed or anywhere to store anything. The sink leaked and the shower was awful. The shower holder was broken too. Both toilets need hand soap. Despite all that, I would return in a heartbeat because everything else was top-notch. Everyone loved the place. I wasn’t really feeling the dancing, so the evening options didn’t grab my attention. I would’ve preferred an evening Yin Yoga class or some extra meditation at 8pm instead of something more lively. But hey, other people seemed to really dig it.

I can’t praise this retreat enough – and I’ll admit, I was doubtful at first. I’ve been practicing yoga for a few years, but had never been on a retreat. The timing and location just worked out after a work trip, and I’m so glad I took a chance on this place.

As soon as I got there (and was handed a welcome drink during check-in), I felt right at home. It was great meeting people from all over the world at meal times, but I also enjoyed relaxing in a hammock with a good book or doing some journal writing by the pool between classes.

Not every yoga style or instructor was my cup of tea, but trying new things – like Aerial Yoga (my fave) and Laughter Yoga (interesting experience) – was amazing. The location was perfect – secluded yet close to some awesome hiking spots and breathtaking mountain views.

The dorm rooms were cozy and the beds surprisingly comfy. I highly recommend getting a Thai massage – I wish I had booked one every day. I enjoyed every moment and it was so fitting that it started pouring rain the moment I drove away.

Getting to Koh Phangan can be a bit tricky with flights, ferries, and buses, but if I ever have the chance to go back, count me in! Huge shoutout to the Wonderland team for an amazing experience.

It’s a bit of a hassle to go from Ko Samui airport to the island by transfer and ferry. But the center has a great atmosphere and really helps to relax.

They should update the list of instructors, I really enjoyed Selina’s Yin Yoga and Charkra Yoga classes. Also, the instructor who led the Kundalini yoga class on Wednesday, Dec 4 was great.

I have only two constructive criticisms. First, I feel that the yoga equipment needs to be washed and cleaned on a daily basis because they all smelled quite bad. Second, the mattresses are incredibly hard, so much so that it was painful to sleep on them. I think some sort of mattress topper would be helpful. However, the staff was very accommodating and brought me multiple blankets to fold up and sleep on. I absolutely love everything about this place! Wonderland offers something for every holiday style. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, there are plenty of options to help you do just that – from the beautiful pool and sauna, to massages, delicious vegan food, coconuts, yin yoga, meditation, and more. I highly recommend planning to spend at least a week there to fully experience everything they have to offer…or you can always extend your stay! It’s hard to leave Wonderland once you’re there.

If you’re more into staying active, there are bicycles (and scooters too!) available to explore the island, visit beautiful beaches, or simply enjoy the nature around you. You can also go snorkeling by KohMa, or even take some Ashtanga classes outside Wonderland. The yoga classes cater to all levels, with different styles taught by different teachers every day.

For a deeper experience, I highly recommend the ice bath pranayama classes where you can focus on breathing techniques and breath retention. And if you really want to dive deep, The Inner Walk is an incredible experience that will open your eyes, wake you up, and give you a whole new perspective on mindfulness and everyday living. Wonderland has truly helped me understand the true meaning of mindfulness in a way that no book or article ever could. Thank you Wonderland for everything!

Wonderland contracts with instructors all over the island, so sometimes there are last minute schedule changes or cancellations. But hey, that’s life, right?

The construction during the rain storms was a bit disruptive, but there’s not much we can do about it. It’s all about taking things in stride. The staff at this retreat is amazing and they take care of everything you need.

Wonderland is an open center, so you can drop in for yoga, meditation, or any other sessions whenever you want. It’s a great way to try out different instructors, styles, and meet new people.

I stayed in a private room with a friend and it was perfect – comfy beds, a bathroom, and AC. Plus, every room has a hammock on the porch or balcony. We definitely took advantage of that! The rooms were clean and peaceful, except for maybe a little noise on full moon nights.

And let’s not forget about the food – it was all so delicious! I was specifically looking for vegan options and I was blown away by how good everything was.

The little extras they provide really make the experience special – daily smoothies or coconuts, Reiki and massage treatments, and the option to add on more treatments for a reasonable price. The staff can also help you with motorbike rentals, taxis, and island tours.

The facilities are all lovely, despite a few days of out-of-commission pool and bathrooms due to the storms. But they were fixed up quickly.

If you’re thinking of booking a 4-day retreat, just go for the 8 days. And if you’re booking 8 days, why not stay longer? It’s totally worth it.

This place is great for yin and restorative yoga, but not if you’re after power or vinyasa classes. Out of the 5 days I was there, only one class was actually level 2 or challenging. The rest were pretty relaxed. I only got hip openers in two out of the 10 yoga classes I took, which was a bummer because I really needed them. None of the teachers did a vinyasa sequence, where you move with each breath. They all knew their stuff, but they tended to pace the class slowly and ramble a bit. The facilities, staff, food, and schedule were top-notch though. Being on the beautiful premises was a real treat. The teachers were knowledgeable and took their classes seriously.

Maybe they can offer more types of yoga classes and have them scheduled later in the evenings. I absolutely adored everything about this place. I honestly can’t find a single negative thing to say. The staff members were incredibly friendly, my private room was heavenly, and the facilities were top-notch. I’m already making plans to return in December.

Some of the yoga classes are very basic. I was hoping for a few more classes that were a bit more challenging. The dorms are alright, but having to share with 6 people is a bit too much, especially when there’s only one shower. The food is incredible and the people are amazing! I only booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for a few more. I really enjoy the meditation sessions with Ali and having coconut water every day is a nice touch.

Not much to complain about here! There are lots of insects in this jungle-like setting, and I even heard there were two huge spiders in one girl’s bathroom. Unfortunately, the location is right in the middle of the island with no great views.

The common area stops playing music at 10 pm, so no late-night card games. And can you believe they don’t have any pool toys?

Some of the yoga classes move at a slow and plodding pace. The dorm lockers aren’t big enough for backpacks, but those banana pancakes are addictive! I’ll definitely come back just for those.

The dorms are modern and spotless, with two bathrooms. Plus, there are hammocks and lounge beds everywhere. The sauna and ice pool are amazing, and the pool is always at the perfect temperature and cleaned daily.

There are plug sockets near every bed, and the common areas are cozy and inviting. The staff is kind and helpful, and the instructors are super friendly. The food is fantastic, fresh, and diverse. The classes are solid and varied, and the improv contact class was hilarious.

Overall, the detox experience was eye-opening and the cheap scooter rental from the reception made it easy to explore the island. It’s so easy to lose track of time in this peaceful sanctuary!

No one showed up for a lesson on Friday, and there was no water in the bassin near the sauna. You live in a bubble of peace and harmony where everything is in balance. You can choose whatever you want at your leisure, and that’s great.

Das Bett war super gemütlich und die Umgebung mit vielen Pflanzen war wirklich schön. Der Pool war warm und es gab viele Möglichkeiten sich zu entspannen. It would be nice to be by the sea, but you can’t have it all 😉 Otherwise, there are absolutely no criticisms! I especially liked the attentive nature of a staff member. He approached me and addressed my problem. The accommodation was cheap, so it was very sparsely furnished (but I had known that beforehand.. dorm room). The classes were suitable for everyone, even beginners who were new to it. So, very good! The reviews about the food were not lying or exaggerating. EXCELLENT!! I didn’t find some of the evening workshops very exciting or appealing. I would have preferred to see more variety or different types of yoga like Iyengar.

I booked this yoga retreat at Wonderland Healing Centre to get out of my funk. The whole purpose of this trip was to rediscover my passion for yoga and give meditation another shot since I’ve always struggled with it. After mustering up the courage to book my first-ever retreat, I’m so happy I chose Wonderland Healing Centre. It’s great value for money with delicious vegan meals served three times a day. I had a spacious and clean private room with a decent bed. Plus, you get a complimentary massage and have a variety of classes throughout the day to keep you busy, while still having time to relax in the sun or read a book. The restaurant area was a nice place to hang out or sneak in a quick nap.

I really liked the yoga instructors, especially Naama in Wild Organic Yoga and Camilla in Yin Yoga. The SOMA breathing workshop and Yoga Nidra classes were also highlights for me.

I had such a great time that I ended up extending my stay by almost a week, originally only planning to stay for 3 nights.

The atmosphere in this place is incredibly relaxed, quiet, and peaceful. You can choose from different classes all day long. It’s not just about practicing yoga or other stuff; the teacher also explains a lot so you learn a lot as well. I wish the sea were closer (it takes 15 minutes by cab and costs 150/200 baht). It would’ve been nice if there was a free shuttle to the beach on a fixed time. More diversity in meditation would be interesting too. The daily program gets repetitive if you stay longer. But it’s not a big deal if you are not too experienced. The energy is great, it’s a wonderful place surrounded by greenery. You can feel that the details have been thought through. I stayed in the dorm for 11 nights, it was very clean and they changed the bed sheets and towels every day. The staff is sweet and helpful. The food is amazing. All of the yoga teachers were nice, it was good to experience different styles.

My only complaint about the retreat was the sleeping situation. In all the other hostels I stayed at in Thailand, the dorm beds had their own curtains for privacy and were much more comfortable. It’s ironic that so much emphasis was put on taking care of our bodies during the yoga and meditation sessions, yet we slept on the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever experienced. If they just improved the beds in the dorms, the experience would be practically perfect! Despite that, I had an amazing time at the retreat. I met incredible people, including the teachers and other participants, enjoyed delicious food, and had a great time doing yoga. The retreat was beginner-friendly but also welcomed more advanced participants who seemed to also enjoy themselves. The facilities included a pool and a steam room, and you could choose to participate in all the classes or do your own thing. The energy at the retreat was amazing, and overall, I had a fantastic experience.

My bathroom didn’t have a pleasant smell, but I was prepared for it after reading about it on trip advisor. The room I stayed in was spacious and had a great view of the pool. There was a kettle and fridge in the room with free water. They offer free pick up and drop off to the ferry which is really convenient. It’s a very personal approach and it’s up to each individual. Also, I didn’t really enjoy Kho Pha-ngan… The food is excellent. Great atmosphere and the scenery is amazing. Good pace of activities. The receptionists were very nice but didn’t have decision-making power, and they also had to send emails to the operators and wait for a response, even though they were there in person. I found that very strange and unhelpful.
I didn’t like the mixed dorms. I wanted to move to a private room for an extra cost, but it was too expensive. The yoga and meditation classes were good. The food was really delicious. The facility is beautifully designed. I loved the sauna and steam room. The massage was also really great.

This place exudes pure magic. The food is amazing, the schedule is varied, and the teachers, both for yoga and meditation, are excellent. But it’s the people who really bring it all together. The connections, the shared experiences, the communal meals. Do yourself a favor and book a room for as long as possible! You won’t ever want to leave.

I had an amazing experience spending 22 days at the beautiful Resort. Meeting people from all over the world made it feel very special and magical. We shared unforgettable experiences every day in a simple and harmonious way.

The Community here offers the best Yoga ♀️, meditation classes, Detox programmes, Reiki, vegan food, and a good selection of international music. I laughed, cried, spent hours in silence, chilled by the pool, enjoyed the steam room, and cultivated my inner peace, self-love, forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, joy, and kindness deeply.

I didn’t plan the program myself as I was promised. The yoga was meant for beginners and there were various styles. I ended up in one of the “not so good” rooms which was disappointing because it lacked a terrace, seating area, and view as promised. The room would have been fine for a shorter stay. If you’re looking to advance in yoga or attend a real yoga school, this probably isn’t the place for you. However, if you want a resort where you can enjoy healthy meals, get a taste of spirituality, and relax, I highly recommend this place. The food was delicious, the rooms were clean, the staff was mostly friendly, and the surroundings and pool area were lovely. It would be a great experience for someone with little to no yoga experience. The meditation classes were good and some of the yoga instructors were really experienced.

I found some criticism about the yoga level being too intense for me, even when I tried the Level 1 class. It was tough on my body due to some issues I have. I wish they offered more alternative poses for people with limitations. Also, I felt some instructors should have asked about any issues or pregnancies before class.

It would have been helpful if someone explained how the retreat works when we checked in. Since this was our first retreat, we had nothing to compare it to. However, my son and I were impressed with the top-notch facilities, delicious food, great instructors, and comfy accommodations. (My son was especially worried we wouldn’t have enough to eat!)

We enjoyed every minute and our stay flew by too quickly. We are definitely planning to come back, hopefully at the end of the year. I highly recommend Wonderland Yoga Retreat to anyone looking for a complete holistic experience with yoga, philosophy, meditation, and lifestyle choices all in one place.

The hot water in the bathroom wasn’t working properly. I started in a dorm room but it was too much for me, so I had to move to a private room. Here’s why:

1- There were too many girls crammed into one small room.
    2- The ventilation was subpar.
3- The AC was on the fritz.
4- There wasn’t enough storage space, so my stuff ended up on the floor.
5- The beds were really high, and noisy too, so I kept waking up my neighbor below every time I needed to go to the bathroom.

I also wasn’t a fan of the stray dogs on the island, especially the ones that kept wandering into the place. Despite that, I loved how friendly everyone was and the family-like atmosphere. The property itself is amazing – well-designed, clean, and perfectly maintained. The owner pays attention to all the little details that matter to solo travelers like myself.

The rooms in the 6-person dorm were very clean and spacious, with two toilets which was perfect. In my opinion, concrete western style houses are a wrong choice for a tropical climate because they make energy consumption rise above an acceptable level. We had to use the airconditioning every night. Overall, everything was good. I was looking for a more ascetic place, and wonderland had a more vacation ambiance, but it was still very good. The yoga classes could challenge you, but they were accessible even for beginners.

The vegan food impressed me, even though I’m not a vegetarian. I also enjoyed the nice smoothies. Despite not being on a detox, I felt my digestive system improve during my stay.

Every day, we had different levels of yoga classes. The instructors were knowledgeable and encouraging, and they were always willing to answer any questions we had.

Occasionally, they took us on trips to the beaches. I only went once, but the sunset was absolutely breathtaking.

I really liked the restaurant area. It was a great place to hang out and make friends, or to enjoy some alone time. There was a special event every evening, which was a unique way to interact with people beyond just chatting.

While I was there, the center experienced major flooding, causing many people to lose most or all of their personal items. The pool was also unusable throughout my stay. It was disappointing that no gestures of goodwill or discounts were offered to customers who were affected by the flooding.

The dorm was not as comfortable as I had hoped. The top bunks lacked shelving and lights, making them inconvenient and uncomfortable for longer stays. On the bright side, the food and restaurant area was the highlight of my time at the center. It was a comfortable meeting place with delicious food and great coffee every day. Yoga classes can get really busy, so they may not be the best choice for beginners or those who aren’t as physically strong. And they don’t really offer modifications for injuries or those with less ability.

As an experienced yoga teacher, I noticed that some of the instruction seemed geared towards advanced students, which could be risky for beginners. But the classes do have a great sense of community and the buffet-style meals offer a variety of tasty options. They’re also good at accommodating food allergies. Overall, the classes are well-taught and diverse, although they may not be the best fit for beginners.

The beds felt pretty hard, but after visiting other places in Thailand, we found that this is pretty standard.
Still, with as much as we spent there, I would have loved a nice fluffy mattress.
They treated us like VIP’s from check in to check out. Everyone is so nice. The food, served buffet style, was always healthy and delicious. 1. I think Wonderland should emphasize that this retreat is very “hands off” in terms of facilitation. I only interacted with the staff if I had a question, from check-in to check-out.

    2. While it was nice to have different yoga instructors, it was hard to connect with them since none of them lived on site. I was surprised by the number of instructors, and I never had the same one twice. However, I appreciated that each instructor had their own specialty classes.

    3. Most pictures of Wonderland show yoga being practiced in a beautiful indoor space. I chose this retreat because of that indoor space, but when I arrived, it was under renovation and most classes were held outside. This information should have been on the website for guests to consider before booking.

    4. They mentioned that we were paying high season prices during low season in Thailand. Prices should be made public and easily accessible. Despite these feedback, I really enjoyed my time at Wonderland. The facility is beautiful and in great condition, with a stunning setting in the jungle surrounded by mountains and a stream on the property. The food was amazing, the staff was nice and helpful, and the steam room was great. The wifi was reliable, which was important for me since I needed to work. I left feeling relaxed and will definitely recommend it to others!

The location. It’s pretty close to the highway, so you can definitely feel the exhaust fumes. The next beach is also quite far away; it’s an adventure to walk there. The so-called secret beach turned out to be pretty flat and littered.

Point number 2. The loud music or constant noise in the restaurant. Maybe today’s hip young people need that. But it didn’t really have a retreat vibe. Each of the 6 teachers had their own unique style and helped me improve with their tips. I was most impressed by Alon. His physically focused, scientific approach gave yoga the grounding depth it deserves. Plus, the food was incredibly diverse and healthy.

I was disappointed by the massage area. The mattress looked really worn out and had only a thin sheet covering it. To top it off, there was another person right next to me, and the two masseurs were chatting away in Thai, which I found quite rude. I think they should provide more privacy in that area, given the personal nature of the activity. On the bright side, the tranquil setting there allowed me to have some peaceful reflection time. Plus, if I felt like being around other people, that was an option too without making me feel torn.

It’s suitable for all levels of yoga, from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners. The food is amazing with plenty of buffet options, and the reception staff are super pleasant and helpful. Wonderland exudes love and positive energy, located in the local jungle with lots of green trees, a little river, hammocks, and small shalas. The pool is nice, so I strongly recommend it! Despite my initial doubt, the guests at Wonderland were not “hippie” types; they were all friendly, polite, and well-educated. The location is a hidden gem slightly outside of town, but getting a taxi to the shops, night markets, or secret beach is only $3-4, with the cost easily shared among passengers. The villas for two people are beautiful, and the shared dorm accommodation is also clean, comfortable, and always stocked with cold water. One of my favorite aspects was the ability to refill my water bottle with fresh water at any corner of Wonderland. They provide everything you need for yoga and meditation, from mats and blocks to belts and cushions. I can wholeheartedly recommend Wonderland and look forward to returning soon!

There is absolutely nothing not to like about this place. It’s the most incredible place I have ever been to! I’ve been to yoga retreats all over the world with my siblings, and this one is definitely the best and the most affordable. The food is top-notch, and they don’t sacrifice flavor even though it’s vegan. The property is super clean, and the rooms are really comfy. But the best part is the welcoming and sweet family that owns it. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I didn’t care for some kids running around and screaming occasionally, and you could hear the kitchen in the meditation room. But luckily, those things didn’t happen often! I absolutely loved how comfortable I felt traveling alone there. The food, yoga, and pilates classes were excellent. The staff was polite, helpful, and spoke great English. And let’s not forget the amazing massages! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

The vegan buffets lacked the best ingredient of all – avocado. I really loved participating in sound healing, inner dance, and yin yoga sessions with Melissa. The pool and herbal sauna were fantastic as well. The food blew me away! I found the dorm beds to be super comfy. The site is meticulously maintained and everything is spotless. Overall, I feel like I got an amazing deal for the price.

The staff, atmosphere, and site itself did not meet my expectations. The reception staff and instructors fell short of expectations. The staff positioned themselves above the guests. The instructors formed a clique and were unwelcoming, even separating themselves at mealtimes. The reception staff were unhelpful. Due to the staff attitudes and atmosphere, I felt like I was at an 18-30s resort instead of a quiet, restful place as advertised. The resort is in a beautiful jungle location, but it resembles a building site in places. The accommodation, facilities, and food were excellent.

There’s absolutely nothing to complain about. Maybe the massage area could be a little bit comfier, but the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had! I’ve had a lot of massages, haha. Everything was awesome! This quiet and peaceful place is surrounded by palm trees in the middle of the island, away from reality, with open-minded people. And the food here is the best ever – it’s all plant-based and so yummy. I miss it already! If you’re a foodie and yogi like me, you definitely have to go there and don’t forget to try the coconut balls. I’m addicted! #addicted

I stayed in a dorm with more beds than expected, but it wasn’t a big deal. My stay at Wonderland took me through a rollercoaster of emotions. I was tired, overwhelmed, and unsure at times, but also calm, reflective, happy, and peaceful. I think that’s the whole point – to understand oneself better and determine what you truly want and need in life. The staff, from the instructors to the receptionists, were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, I had to go to the hospital during my stay, but the Wonderland staff took excellent care of me, visiting me at least twice a day. As I left on the ferry, I immediately felt a longing to return, and I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

The only downside was that breakfast didn’t start until 8 am, the same time as the Yoga classes. If you were lucky, you could grab some food at the amazing buffet if the class finished on time. The place might not be for you if you’re all about the workouts instead of yoga. The vegan food was delicious and not too spicy for us Europeans. Just a heads up, be careful when booking a 4-bed dorm, as we ended up in a 6-bed one. The pool and hammock areas were stunning, and the oil massage I had was fantastic. The evening lectures and discussions were a highlight, and we met some lovely people from around the world. The staff was also really friendly.

The breakfast could be a bit more varied, they served the same thing every day. Same with the fruits.
During my tour of the facility, they told me I had a massage included – but I ended up having to pay 600 Bath for it. I also didn’t need the transfer to the pier, so I asked if they could instead take me to the beach once. Unfortunately, they couldn’t do that. Not very flexible and not a great way to end my stay. The facility is very beautiful and in a quiet location. The staff are very nice, with one exception, but there’s always one. The food was always delicious. The teachers were very kind and attentive.

I loved absolutely everything at the retreat! The only thing to note is that breakfast starts at 8am, which is also when the first yoga class begins. So if you do the 8am yoga class, you’ll have to wait until after 9:30am for breakfast. However, there are always bananas available for a snack, and you can also get a takeaway box for food at meal times (I always grabbed fresh fruit for my pre-yoga snack).

Honestly, I can’t find anything to complain about! The food was amazing, the staff were kind and caring, the other guests were wonderful, and I even made some lifelong friends. There were plenty of classes to choose from, including yoga, meditation, and special sessions like lectures and healing therapies. It’s more than just a yoga retreat!

The atmosphere was so relaxed, with no set itinerary and plenty of chill-out areas around the resort. The rooms were spacious and comfy, and the resort itself was beautiful with an amazing pool and steam room. Plus, we got a free smoothie or coconut every day, and unlimited tea and coffee (the coffee was fresh and made just how you like it – my favorite was cacao and coconut milk coffee).

The fact that most people extended their stay or wanted to shows how incredible this place is! I definitely plan on coming back one day.

I spent 12 amazing days at the Wonderland Healing Center and came back with a refreshing energy. The complex is tranquil and beautiful, surrounded by nature. It’s clean, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding.

The program is jam-packed with yoga, meditation, pilates, and special sessions running from 8am to 8pm. You’ll take home wonderful experiences and inspirations.

The activities are diverse, the vegan food is fantastic, the staff is warm and helpful (shoutout to the ladies!), and the teachers and therapists are motivating and knowledgeable.

I spontaneously decided to do the detox program and now I’m full of vitality and energy, feeling like a solid 10 out of 10 on the feel-good scale.

As a bonus, I booked a spiritual counseling session with Oxana. Thanks to her gift and empathy, Oxana answered long-standing questions in my life, supported my intuition, guided me through the detox program, and helped me heal by breaking old patterns and beliefs. Many thanks to everyone who made these 12 days so wonderful.

I felt really scared in my room at night because of the animal noises. Even though there aren’t any dangerous animals, it was still pretty scary. I think next time I’ll go for the dorm instead. The private room wasn’t worth the price – the shower would often not work properly and the water was sometimes cold. There were moments when there was no water at all or it was dirty!

In my personal opinion, the events besides yoga and meditation weren’t very strong. Also, I’m not vegan and even though the food was amazing, it wasn’t quite satisfying for me. I wish there were more power yoga classes too.

On the positive side, I liked that I could try out different types of yoga and meditation. The schedule was packed with activities, the food was delicious, the people were friendly, and the overall setting with hammocks, pool, and nature was lovely. The location in the middle of nowhere was actually a plus because it really forced me to focus on the retreat and not be tempted to go out for a drink or something. It’s not that accessible, so you’re pretty much committed to the events all the time.

I couldn’t book a private villa in advance, but that turned out to be okay because the atmosphere was relaxed and flexible. I enjoyed being around like-minded people, especially the many single travelers. It was nice to have fewer couples and no children around. The standard of yoga was really impressive for such a remote place – all the instructors were experienced and even the visiting ones were top-notch. Catherine, Nancy, and Jess did a great job with Pilates. The food was high quality and vegan, which was a nice bonus. The rooms were clean, but lacking in small details like bedside lamps and more clothes hanging places. Overall, it was a great experience. The only downside was not being able to choose your room, even if you were willing to pay more for a villa. But that’s life – you can’t have everything you want, right? On the bright side, there were hardly any mosquitoes despite being in the jungle. The quick yoga meditation weekend was a much-needed break from corporate life. So all in all, I’m good! Just goes to show you can’t always get everything you want. Btw, I appreciated the mosquito-free environment! Jacq.

There are multiple classes offered every day that you can attend. The teachers are all well-trained and I enjoyed every class. The facility is still new, with the whole project only being a year and a half old, so everything is still in good condition (rooms, restaurant, pool, etc.).

I stayed in the dorm and found the bed pretty hard and uncomfortable, but that’s common in Thailand. There was no storage or room to organize clothes or your bag, so four people in the room had their things splayed out on the floor. Hopefully, they had something to change this. Oh my goodness, the food was spectacular! I’m not vegan, but I wanted to try everything in the buffet every meal. The steam sauna was the best way to start and end my day. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The teachers all brought something special and different each day. There was plenty of variety in classes and special events every day. If you’re seeking a chill spot with yoga, meditation, and alternative healing methods, this is the place for you. It’s ideal for laid-back folks and solo travelers. The community here is welcoming. The yoga classes cater to all levels, and when I visited, they were at a beginners/intermediate level.

I stayed in a shared dorm and I wish they had small shelves or boxes by each bed for valuables. I was on the top bunk and always keep water close because I need to drink during the night. There weren’t enough hooks in the room or the bathroom. However, the room was cleaned daily and was very comfortable overall.

I absolutely adored the positive, nurturing atmosphere of Wonderland. It was the perfect place to heal and grow spiritually and emotionally. And let’s talk about the food – as a vegan, I was in heaven! The delicious options every day fed not only my body but my soul too. The staff were attentive and never intrusive. I had a fantastic stay!

My husband noticed how radiant I looked after the retreat. Thank you so much!

I have no complaints at all! The only thing that could make it even better would be installing shelves for the top bunks in the dorms, one for each top bunk. It would be great to have a spot to keep your book, phone, or water at night to prevent things from falling.

I can’t wait to come back, thank you all so much!! Wonderland is the perfect name for this place. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home and welcomed. The yoga shalas are fully equipped, the restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated. The food is absolutely amazing, it smells and tastes incredible, I need to get my hands on those recipes! The pool is always clean and just the right temperature. The steam room is fantastic, and they change the herbal oils daily to give you a new experience each time. The massages and treatments are a wonderful addition to the yoga classes, leaving me feeling refreshed and ready to go for the next one.

The variety of yoga classes was great, although I would have liked to see more advanced classes for mastering challenging postures. But the classes I attended really helped me progress in my practice. The vinyasa and yin classes were always enjoyable. All the instructors are so knowledgeable and each brings their own unique teaching style. Huge thanks to Ewa and Connie for expanding my understanding and improving my practice.

Despite my low expectations, the dorm exceeded them all. The beds were comfortable and wide, everything was clean, and the shower worked great. I met wonderful people who were all seeking a relaxing time, so it was simply perfect!

Wonderland thoughtfully designed their yoga retreat center. You can easily socialize or have some time to yourself in the welcoming space. If you’re planning a short 3-night retreat, remember to check out their website for a list of activities to make the most of your stay. The food is delicious, offering a mix of local Thai dishes and vegan options. While the location is a bit distant from the beach, I personally enjoyed that aspect.

I liked everything, but I’d suggest adding more storage space/plugs/hooks in the dorm rooms. The communal area was set out wonderfully. The food was unbelievably tasty, even for a non-vegan like me! The instructors, especially Ali, were very good. His meditation class was great.

I’m sorry to say that some of the local ladies at the reception need to find another job. They seemed bored and unfriendly compared to the rest of the amazing staff. Not only are they very forgetful, but they also don’t seem to care much about the customers. This place is fantastic! It’s located in a quiet part of the island and the facilities are spotless. I thought the yoga teaching was perfect for all levels and the food was incredible. I had a great stay and will definitely go back.

The community here is amazing, helpful, relaxed, and radiates a certain warmth and good atmosphere. There is something magical about this place. The classes offer a variety of options, so everyone can find a yoga style that suits them personally. Personally, I found the yoga classes taught by Ewa, Naama, Nancy, and Alon to be particularly appealing. Pilates with Jess is simply fantastic and so much fun! The massages, Reiki sessions, and meditations are a dream. I even completed a 12-day detox program without food! The support from Chou and especially Gonen was excellent and really motivated me. Not only did I quit smoking and detoxify my body and mind, but I also lost 8kg. If you want to do something good for your health, find peace, and have a wonderful time, this is the perfect place. I will definitely be coming back! Huge thanks also go to the kitchen ladies, Nice and Mimi, who do an amazing job every day. This is a place of inspiration and reflection.

There was not enough yoga – only 2 classes per day. I wished there was more variety. But, I claim the focus is on meditation and finding oneself.

The evening events were not my thing. I arrived without my phone, as I lost it in Bangkok. The wonderful receptionist got me a watch (!!!) and everyone was so helpful and loving, which translated into the classes and the food, and ultimately to the participants. We quickly started talking. The meditation classes were great.

The 2 morning yogas are too close together, making it hard to attend both with breakfast in-between. I recommend having at least one hour, or better yet one and a half hours, between them. Being at wonderland feels like staying in a bubble, away from the real world, where everyone is friendly and open. Special thanks to Cho, who runs the drawing classes, among others. They are an awesome form of meditation for those who struggle with traditional meditation. Please offer more art classes! ☺️

Wonderland was truly magical, taking us on an emotional, physical, and spiritual rollercoaster ride. My partner and I had never done yoga before the retreat, but we quickly became hooked within days. The amazing staff and teachers helped us see improvements in our posture, strength, and flexibility within just a week. The classes were top-notch, especially the Hatha and Alignment ones, and we’ve kept up our practice even after leaving the retreat.

And let’s talk about the food…wow! We aren’t vegan or vegetarian, but the food was incredible. The variety of cuisines changed daily and the fresh salads, fruits, and shakes were so healthy and tasty. It was so good that we’ve actually cut down on our meat and dairy consumption since then.

Then there were the extras. Reiki was a new and personal experience for us, and Melody was amazing. We also treated ourselves to Thai and Oil massages, which were absolutely divine.

Lastly, the accommodation and facilities were top-notch. After months of staying in hostels, the 4-bed dorm felt like luxury. The beds were super comfy, the room was cleaned daily, and it was a great size for four people. The pool and other facilities were also fantastic and never overcrowded.

I don’t usually write such long reviews, but Wonderland truly deserves it. It was a life-changing experience for us, and we can’t wait to go back.

During my stay, there were a few mix-ups with transportation and room assignments. Since I got in on NYE, there wasn’t an orientation session which made it a bit confusing at first. However, after a couple of days, we got everything sorted out.

Wonderland offers a great variety of yoga and meditation classes throughout the day. I managed to squeeze in two sessions every day and I loved the different styles and energies of the instructors. Renata, in particular, made me feel right at home.

The food at Wonderland was absolutely amazing. I made some fantastic new friends and it was a great way to kick off 2018 with a focus on my practice. My room was spacious, clean, and cozy – I especially enjoyed kicking back in the hammock on the porch.

I joined a 10-day detox program that was customized to my needs. The detox team was very supportive and open to discussing any concerns I had about the program. The daily detox meetings provided great mental support and made me feel like I wasn’t going through the process alone.
The variety of classes was fantastic – I learned different types of yoga, breathing exercises, and even got to join dancing and a shamanic journey. The included massages and treatments helped me dive even deeper into my healing process.

It’s about 5 km away from the beach. You can rent bicycles and scooters, or order taxis to take you on excursions. It’s around €20 for about 3 hours.
The advantage of being located outside is the tranquil idyllic setting of the jungle. The sounds of the animals at night are amazing. Sleeping is very peaceful since there are no cars to disturb you at night.

What I loved most were the dedicated healers and yoga teachers. The detox program was carefully thought out, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. There was a great variety of yoga classes offered, from intense Ashtanga to relaxing Yin Yoga, three times a day. I spent 14 wonderful days at Wonderland on their Yoga Retreat package. The resort, which is just 6 months old, is even more beautiful in person than in the promotion video and pictures. I stayed in a private pool view room with a nice hammock on the balcony. The staff, especially Ham and Aly, were great and the Vegan food was delicious and diverse. Even though I’m not a Vegan or Vegetarian, I never felt the need to eat outside.

There was a wide variety of Yoga and meditation classes, and all the teachers were great. I came to improve my own yoga practice and learned a lot from them. The Thai massage therapist kicked my butt and managed to put me in positions I never thought possible, but she was amazing! Thank you, Wonderland, for a beautiful Yoga Retreat. I hope to come back again with my family.

    Namasté,
    Alice in Wonderland

The resort is a bit far from the pier and beaches. The steam room is a bit secluded and needs more lighting, especially at night when it gets scary. But this place is truly a wonderland, serene and beautiful. I met some amazing people there and made some really good friends from all over the world. We explored the island together, which is beautiful. You should definitely try Victoria and Nancy’s yoga classes. The rooms are very clean and nice, and the pool and restaurant are beautiful and cozy. All the instructors and staff are very kind and supportive, and they look after all your needs. I absolutely loved their food – it’s the best vegan food I have ever had. Even though I was on a detox for 4 days, I did get to try the food on my last day. Their massages are also of a very high standard and I enjoyed them thoroughly. If you can, get your reiki treatment with Eyal. He is one of the most calm and spiritual people I have ever met. Wonderland has truly changed me – I fell in love with my body and skin after the detox. I understood the true power of just being and not letting anything external disturb the peace of my mind. I was really sad to leave, as this place can bring a strange peace and happiness in you. I am definitely going back.

The only possible downside had nothing to do with the retreat itself, it was simply that the beach and shops were a bit of a distance away. But making friends was easy, especially when they had scooters to take you around. Taxis were convenient too, and the retreat staff were willing to give you a lift if they had time. Everything was amazing – the yoga classes offered a lot of variety, the room was clean and charming, and the vegan food was surprisingly delicious. I was nervous at first since I’m a big meat eater, but I ended up loving it! The best part, though, was the people. Meeting other solo travelers was so much fun, and I also adored the new Israeli family who ran the retreat. You guys are awesome! Can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderland amazes me. I planned on staying for just 3 nights but ended up extending my visit. The food here is absolutely incredible, some of the best vegan dishes I’ve ever had. The resort is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the island, creating a tranquil atmosphere. You can easily access beautiful beaches and waterfall trails nearby. They offer a variety of yoga and meditation programs as well as daily treatments, all led by fantastic instructors. The staff here is welcoming and always ready to assist you. The rooms are cozy and spotless, and the pool is a perfect retreat when you need a break from the beach. Wonderland is the ultimate spot to unwind and rejuvenate – I will definitely be returning.

I only wish the location was closer to the beach for day trips. But, the resort offered rides into town which was really helpful! The accommodations were top-notch – the room was so clean and comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, and they cleaned the room every day with fresh towels whenever needed. It was fantastic!

I had to leave because Ali’s meditation blew me away! All the yoga instructors – Sky, Veronica, Victoria, and Leon – brought something special and powerful to their classes. The variety of yoga here is exceptional. The staff is super friendly and always there to help. Trust me, book this now and you’ll thank yourself later!

I prefer positives only. It’s a bit of a distance from Thong Sala town, but that’s just what I was looking for – some peace and quiet. You can easily rent a motorbike to get around, and the staff is super helpful if you need anything. The classes, the food, the staff, the pool, the atmosphere, the massages…everything was amazing and I highly recommend it!

I wish I had rented a bike to explore more of the island, especially the beaches, and participate in events. However, Hiem took me to run errands when I needed and community members kindly gave me rides to certain events. My week at Wonderland was truly special. The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxed. Even though I was by myself, the staff and community treated me with so much kindness and generosity that I never felt lonely. Since it was low season, I had a dorm room all to myself for most of my stay, making it a great deal. The yoga classes were tough but helped me improve my fitness and technique. The package treatments were top-notch and added to the luxury of my stay. In between classes, I lounged by the pool and relaxed in my beautifully air-conditioned room. The highlight for me was definitely the delicious food and free juice every day. I couldn’t get enough of the variety at every meal. Wonderland gave me everything I needed and more to take a break from my 5 months of backpacking.
