The rooms were great, but the neighbors could be noisy because sound travels in this beautiful location. The social vibe was very welcoming and the food was outstanding with a good variety of classes for everyone. We especially enjoyed the steam room and cold plunge. We explored the island by hiring a scooter from the resort. The check-in and checkout process, as well as the pickup and drop-off to the ferry terminal, went smoothly. The resort had a mix of different nationalities, singles, couples, and groups. They kept everything clean and made sure to send lots of water to the rooms.

The classes were full and it wasn’t great. You end up touching the people next to you in every position because it’s too crowded. I decided to skip some classes and spend more time alone to relax and have a better experience. Some of the teachers were not great. There was this one teacher named Nadja who had a bad vibe, didn’t say hi, and would get defensive when asked questions. She kept talking about another retreat that she thought was better and recommended everyone go there. It was strange because we were all there for the same reason and had paid to be at this retreat. Plus, she would sit outside smoking cigarettes a lot which didn’t make a good impression on me. However, I really liked the location and the food. The facility was great, but there was a strong smell of feces everywhere, making it difficult to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The location feels like you’re at the edge of the world – it’s amazing. But it can be challenging at times because the nearest village is a bit far. You’ll need to take a taxi (unless you can drive a scooter), and taxis are quite expensive – a common situation on all Thai islands.

When booking, I suggest choosing a private accommodation. The dorms are usually full with 5-6 people sharing a small space, and the center is always crowded. If you want some privacy, a private room is the better option. This could be one of the best retreats you’ll ever experience! Nestled in the lush forest, Wonderland offers access to top-notch facilities that are always clean and very comfortable, including a fantastic pool, sauna, and spa. The food is a true highlight – the most delicious vegan dishes you can imagine.

The instructors are highly professional, offering various levels and styles of yoga and meditation. The place truly lives up to its name – it is indeed a Wonderland and a healing sanctuary for anyone in search of peace, connection, and equanimity.

If you stay longer than a week, some of the workshops repeat a little bit. It would be awesome if they made tiny changes in the schedule or added something slightly different. But you can always do some of the things you really liked again, or just relax more and skip some. I originally booked 7 days at Wonderland and ended up staying 4 more days. It’s such a magical place where you can do up to 6 workshops a day, use the pool and the sauna, and meet amazing people. The instructors are all amazing and some of them are even inspiring. I booked a private room, which was great. They clean it every day and make sure you have enough water. The food is amazing and really tasty – I even had the best falafel here :). I wish I could’ve stayed longer, but I will definitely come back.

The resort filled up quickly during my stay. The yoga classes became packed, making it hard to move without bumping into someone. We even ran out of mats and pillows a few times. People keep coming back for a reason – I loved my stay there!

I’m a beginner in yoga, but I never felt lost. The teachers always offered variations of poses so everyone could participate. My week was perfect – I learned a lot about yoga and myself.

I appreciated the variety of classes offered throughout the day – yoga, meditation, lectures, and more. The dorm I stayed in was clean and cozy, and the food was delicious every night.

There were plenty of spaces to socialize or relax alone, and I loved the water refill stations so we didn’t need to buy plastic bottles.

The meal schedules. You can have breakfast and lunch from 9 to 1 pm and dinner is from 6 to 8 pm. As a suggestion, I would extend the schedule by an hour in both cases. I would also add another class between 12 and 3 pm, as there was usually nothing during that time frame. We offer a wide variety of classes, such as aromatherapy, sound healing, vipassana meditation, loving and kindness meditation, hatha yoga, and more. The food was delicious. The decoration is beautiful and everything is well thought out. The teachers are very professional. They clean the rooms every day.

It’s super busy and crowded here. It feels more like a resort with classes than a retreat. The atmosphere is not very friendly and welcoming, unlike most retreats. You won’t get much feedback or guidance from the teachers to improve your yoga, but the classes are fun. The teachers and western staff could definitely be warmer and friendlier. Despite that, the food is amazing, there are many classes available per day, and the location is absolutely beautiful.

I only had an issue with the general quality of yoga classes at Wonderland. Out of the 14 classes I took, I only felt that 3 were taught by top-notch instructors. Most instructors would show people how to do a pose but wouldn’t explain how to properly be in it. There were minimal anatomical cues and hardly any focus on breath work, making it difficult to stay present. I wish the instructors paid more attention to students, as they would often just demonstrate the pose and hold it themselves the entire time. As a certified yoga instructor, I found the lack of engagement and energy disappointing.

I only received an assist once the entire week, and it was when a teacher touched students without asking for permission. Some reviews labeled the classes as beginner-friendly, but beginner classes actually require more cues to ensure poses are done correctly. I wish Wonderland held a higher standard for the quality of classes and had instructors like Amber or Raj teach more often. Ewa’s Reiki session was definitely worth it, and the food was great. Raj’s Kundalini and Amber’s Flow classes were exceptional, and I enjoyed David’s Hatha stretch and Nadja’s meditation. All the specials were a must-try, and I left the retreat with a wonderful spiritual experience. The staff was amazing, and the sauna was fantastic.

Overall, I really loved the retreat and would definitely do it again. The meditations and specials alone made it worthwhile. I do miss the pool!

One instructor conducted the healing class really well and I believe she excels as a mindfulness coach rather than a yoga/pilates instructor. Unfortunately, I was disappointed because there was no harmony in the class and the pilates flow sequence was far from how it should be structured. For example, we started with pilates 100s before doing anything else, and not a single mention of breath was made…

In addition, another girl from my dorm and I both got food poisoning from dinner, which was a major letdown. However, it seems that only the two of us were affected. The location itself is lovely and perfect for relaxation. The staff were helpful and I had the chance to meet many new people.

Interestingly, none of the three instructors I planned to review are actually listed. Two of them conducted a wonderful class that was well-organized. I appreciated the challenge in the flow, but overall, I have to say that this is more for beginners in yoga.

I noticed that most of the people attending were very young and I didn’t find it particularly friendly, which is unusual for a yoga retreat. The staff and instructors were fantastic. However, I wonder how it would have been if I was an absolute beginner since most classes were at an intermediate level or higher. If you’ve never done yoga before, this might not be the place for you. There are lots of classes and activities every day that you can choose to join or not. The setting is beautiful and the facilities are well looked after. The classes offer a real range of options. The room is very nice. Overall, it’s a really special place.

In the dorm, I noticed some things were missing: there was no plug or reading light for each bed, and the metal bunk beds were making a lot of noise. This meant that if you moved, you risked waking up the person underneath you. But everything else was perfect.

The classes were really good. You get a schedule with one morning meditation and two morning yoga classes. In the afternoon, there is one more meditation class and one more yoga class. You can choose how you manage your days. There’s always a break between 11:30 and 15:00 with no classes, where you can enjoy the pool, hammam, or go for a scooter or bike ride.

Food is served from 9-13:00 and 18:00-20:00. There’s nothing in between, but you can order a smoothie or even go to a nearby restaurant. The food is vegan and really good, the hammam is amazing, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had an amazing stay and can only recommend it.

Los cuartos individuales son muy bonitos y grandes, y el alojamiento y los espacios comunes están muy bien decorados con mucho detalle. The meditation sessions take some getting used to if you’re used to meditating max. 25 minutes a day in your everyday life. They tend to go on quite long in the retreat, so it’s always a challenge not to fall asleep. I was unfortunately sick for the first couple of days, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to get better. They took good care of me and I was able to move to a private room at short notice. I think I’ve never gotten healthy again so quickly. The food was simply delicious and always fresh!! The yoga sessions were very enjoyable, I could really let go. Unfortunately, because of my illness, I could only attend 2 classes. There’s definitely a huge variety of yoga classes, so I’m sure there’s something for everyone 🙂

The resort isn’t right by the beach and it costs about 150-200 per person to take a taxi there. (But they do offer free beach trips once a week or so.) That was the only downside for me. Everything else was amazing!

The atmosphere was so healing, relaxed, and loving. It was really easy to let go of stress there! Everybody, from the reception staff to the restaurant workers, cleaners, masseuses, most of the teachers, and other guests, was incredibly friendly. I met some wonderful people during my stay and kept in touch with them afterwards.

I stayed in a dorm for 4 people and everyone was super respectful. The rooms and other areas were really clean, and the food was absolutely delicious! I loved all the different workshops, along with the yoga and meditation classes. There were also options to go to the beach or join guided hikes to waterfalls. I stayed for a week but I would have stayed even longer if I could!

I reported it to reception, and they assured me they would inform the boss. I wanted to recommend the place to friends, but after this incident, I don’t feel like it’s a safe place. Most yoga classes focus heavily on pure asana or fitness, even if they’re advertised as Level 1. I just prefer other types of yoga. Unfortunately, while I was in Wonderland, there wasn’t any Sound healing, Wim Hof, or Mantra Chanting workshops, which I would have loved to attend. Make sure to check the schedule before you come! Wonderland is such a beautiful place to be!

My time there was incredible, and now I feel purified, relaxed, and connected to my inner peace. I really enjoyed the daily Vipassana Meditations with Yaron in the morning – it’s the best way to start your day. Plus, I loved Raj’s Kundalini Hatha classes – he has such deep knowledge and wisdom. The Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy workshop with Liz was amazing too. The women’s circle with Amor was lovely, and Stephanie’s classes were also great.

And don’t even get me started on the food – it’s absolutely delicious! Enjoy your time in paradise! ❤️

I felt very comfortable in Wonderland. The people were very nice, the food is excellent. It was also clean and the yoga classes were great. Personally, Yin Yoga wasn’t a big challenge for me but the classes are suitable for beginners. I also extended my stay because I felt comfortable, it was not a problem, the staff is very nice. The location is difficult to reach, but it’s easier if you have a scooter, otherwise you can order a taxi from the hotel.

We spent four days there. On the last night, we got the worst stomach virus and couldn’t move. We had fever, diarrhea, nausea, and even puked for three days. It feels like a waste of money and health. We feel cheated that we paid and then got sick instead of feeling better. It’s tough to leave a bad review, but after feeling so awful, I have to share it with others. The yoga classes were nice and the teachers were good.

I arrived in October for an eight day retreat. The area looked beautiful, green and inviting. The facilities were great and the yoga teachers were very experienced. But what really made it feel like a Wonder land was the togetherness atmosphere. At the buffet restaurant, long tables were set up where you could meet like minded people from all around the world. Conversations became deep and quickly you developed a sense of belonging. When I left, I had some great new connections and I was trying to understand how to bring the benefits of Wonderland into my daily life at home.

I spent 7 nights in the dorm room at Wonderland. It’s not the best dorm I’ve stayed in, but hey, you’re only going to sleep there anyway. During the day, there are tons of classes like different kinds of yoga, meditation styles, lectures, and activities like hiking to a waterfall or a sunset tour. The best part is, you get to choose what you want to do. If you’re feeling more like relaxing, you can hang out at the pool, use the sauna, or get a massage.

The food is incredible! I’m usually a vegetarian, and they have a vegan buffet that was heaven for me. Everything was delicious.

I overheard people saying they’ll probably come back every year now. And you know what? I totally agree with them.

The vegan buffet is delicious and there are plenty of international dishes to try. The laundry service is affordable and dependable. Throughout the day, you can participate in different types of meditations and yoga classes, as well as attend talks, movies, and fire nights. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy, like a sauna, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, and cozy lounging areas. They even offer complimentary trips to hike in the jungle or relax on the beach. Plus, you can enjoy various holistic treatments and traditional Thai massages. This place truly is a wonderland – I highly recommend visiting.

The evening programs at Wonderland were a bit all over the place. They were eclectic and somewhat haphazard. The schedules were easy to find and follow, but some of the topics for the evening were a bit vague. They brought in visiting instructors who would sometimes introduce themselves and share their experiences, while others were more casual in how they presented before diving into their talk.

I was interested in joining some of these programs, but without more information, I wasn’t too keen on just jumping in. I didn’t want to have to awkwardly leave if it wasn’t what I expected, or sit through something I didn’t really want to be part of.

Wonderland was a great place to be for healing, relaxation, and hanging out with like-minded people. Some days I enjoyed the structured classes, while other days I was happy just chilling by the pool, getting a massage, and chatting with others around the resort. It was nice to see people returning for another visit, and I ended up staying at Wonderland for my whole trip without feeling the need to venture outside the resort.

The food at Wonderland was top-notch with a great variety of fresh options. It was a new experience to eat in such a wholesome way, and it’s something I’ve taken back with me from my time there.

I planned to stay for 3 nights but ended up extending my stay to 6 nights because it was that good. Meeting people was easy, everyone, including the staff, was super friendly. The yoga and meditation teachers were fantastic, and the schedule was well-organized. My only suggestion for the team is to provide more details on activities like hikes and sunset tours so people know what to expect. I did both and they were amazing, but not exactly what you might think based on the name. It’s a truly magical place. In the four days I spent there, I relaxed and rejuvenated more than I would at a typical beach resort. The schedule is packed with activities so there’s something for everyone. There are so many options that even being stuck there in heavy rain didn’t feel like a drag – it was actually a positive. The food was great too. Even though I’m not vegan, I enjoyed the vegan options because they were delicious. The serenity and peace at this place is unmatched.

Unfortunately, the welcome experience was a letdown. They didn’t give us any info on how things ‘work’ and we didn’t get the welcome drink or yoga consultation promised at booking. A quick chat on class operations, goals, and injuries would’ve made a big difference. And the daily smoothie listed in the booking was awkward to negotiate for each day.

Aly and Lauren were great instructors with their warm welcomes and Lauren’s hands-on approach. But some other teachers had cold, ego-filled welcomes that lacked interaction.

The classes were overcrowded at times, which was frustrating. And a hike was cancelled without notice.

The site itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and the food was delicious.

Wonderland is a great place for anyone who wants to be in a safe environment and meet people with similar interests. However, it did feel like a little bubble of Westerners and I missed having Thai food options. The center is located about 20 minutes away from the coast, so I was expecting it to be on a cute mountain, but the grounds are actually flat. It’s a good idea to have a scooter to explore the area. Wonderland offers a fantastic daily schedule of classes and specials that will not only keep you busy, but also allow you to learn about different approaches to meditation and yoga. Most of the yoga teachers were excellent, and the food was delicious. There is a nice variety of treatments available, although they are a bit more expensive at the center.

I got COVID during my stay at Wonderland because my roommate had it and was told to keep going to classes and act normal. She didn’t tell me until she was leaving, and by then it was too late. I ended up isolating myself for 5 days to protect others. It would have been nice to know about my roommate’s situation sooner so I could have moved to a private room. If you’re worried about COVID, get your own room at Wonderland.

Despite that, my stay at Wonderland was amazing. I went there to relax and refocus after some tough times, and I learned so much in just 3 weeks. My boyfriend and I visited Wonderland for the first time in Koh Phangan, and we can’t stop raving about our experience to everyone we meet. The yoga classes here last for an hour and a half and are suitable for all levels. I was amazed by how much my practice improved just after one week, despite practicing yoga for years. There are various yoga teachers and styles available, so if you don’t vibe with one, there are plenty of other options to try out.

We were pleasantly surprised by the number of classes offered – with at least 3 yoga classes and 3+ meditation classes every day, this place went above and beyond our expectations. My boyfriend reluctantly joined me for yoga but ended up mastering handstands by the end of our week there. The vegan buffet served for brunch and dinner was not only delicious and filling but also a healthy change from the usual Thai food we had been eating.

Staying in dorms and communal eating areas allowed us to make friends who we ended up hanging out with for the rest of our time in Koh Phangan. I can’t say enough good things about this place – it truly exceeded all our expectations.

If you don’t have a bike, it might be tough to explore the island, so you might end up just hanging out at the retreat (which isn’t a bad idea!). The cleaning staff didn’t seem very friendly and their cleaning routine was inconsistent – there were quite a few ants in the rooms! But overall, I had a great experience. Wonderland is a very nice and relaxing place to stay for single travelers and groups. The schedule offers a variety of options based on your interests. The meditation and yoga sessions are top-notch, and the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. It’s a great choice for those who prefer to be active rather than just lounge on sunbeds all day, although that’s an option too at Wonderland. It’s also a good choice for first-timers on a meditation or yoga retreat, as the schedule is not as intense as some other retreats. Classes start at 8 am, which is much more manageable than the 5 or 6 am start times at other places. The staff is friendly, and you can easily explore different parts of Koh Phangan island from Wonderland. The rooms are clean and of good quality (3-star) with air conditioning.

The reception and restaurant staff seemed very unmotivated, answering inquiries with annoyance and unfriendliness. The restaurant staff even ate behind the counter during meal times, braided hair, and cleaned the kitchen countertop with their feet. Everything else about the hotel was wonderful though – beautiful hotel, great pool, large rooms with a veranda, delicious and varied food options, a wide range of courses with well-coordinated timings. The 6-bed dorms are okay but not luxurious. The beds wobble and squeak; there is only one big room light, so we easily disturb each other; there are no closets, clothes always lying in the backpack on the floor; bed curtains for some privacy would be nice, a shelf next to the bed to put things on would also make sense. All of this didn’t bother me much in the first week because everything else was great, but unfortunately it got very crowded in Wonderland in my second week… we squeezed over 40 people into the Shala, which was definitely not fun anymore. If you were late, you couldn’t participate. The relaxed family atmosphere was lost during meals. Waiting in line, waiting, or not getting any food left. Drinks were empty late at night, no towels left, etc… Very unfortunate, the first week was truly fantastic… the peaceful jungle location, beautifully landscaped, diverse weekly program> great for trying new things, informal gathering, very diverse crowd, the steam sauna, all very well-kept and clean, the buffet is really great.

The yoga class level depends on the participants, so it’s mostly beginners which means the class isn’t very advanced. It would be lovely if they added a class specifically for intermediate yogis. I adored Wonderland so much. The food was incredibly delicious, with a vegan buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that left me speechless. Each day, you also get a free shake or coconut which are outstanding. They offer unlimited coffee with almond or coconut milk, and even have a self-serve tea station. The camp itself is absolutely stunning and the people have a peaceful and positive energy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I took a lot from the meditation classes and the other classes offered were top-notch. I just can’t say enough about how much I loved it.

My time at Wonderland truly transformed me. People from all walks of life come here for different reasons, creating a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere. This safe environment allowed for deep healing to take place as I let go of things and reflected on my limiting beliefs. The food was amazing (which was a big reason why I came!) and the Sauna and cold plunge pool were highlights. There were so many classes to choose from, including various yoga styles and meditation techniques. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it. Koh Phangan is truly a magical paradise, and after my experience at Wonderland, I’ve decided to come back in 3 weeks to start my Yoga Teacher Training.

Unfortunately, the place is a bit of a victim of its own success, classes are full. Wonderland lives up to its name. The place is gorgeous and the atmosphere is particularly zen!

The classes were so crowded that there was hardly any room, making it difficult to see the instructor. The classes were fantastic, but it was disappointing that they were so full. The food is outstanding with plenty of options for everyone. Our room was ideal, complete with a swimming pool, steam room, and plunge pool. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and relaxing. Even my boyfriend, who had never tried yoga or meditation before, thoroughly enjoyed it!

I have no comment on the service, but I will say that the staff was friendly, and I met lots of wonderful people. The yoga and meditation were fantastic, and the Reiki training was excellent!

The accommodation disappointed me. It’s basic – there’s not even a shelf near the bed. There’s nowhere to store anything. The sink leaked, the shower was dreadful, and the shower holder was broken. Both toilets need hand soap. Still, I’d come back in a heartbeat because everything else was top-notch. Everyone loved the place. The staff were amazing, the classes exceeded my expectations, and the food was phenomenal. They should publish a cookbook – it would be a bestseller.

Wonderland feels like a slice of heaven on earth. The resort shines with beauty and cleanliness, the classes are both fun and insightful, and the people here are simply amazing and inspiring. And can we talk about the food? It’s on a whole other level – absolutely delicious, colorful, and best of all, cruelty free. I’m so happy I picked Wonderland.

I didn’t really enjoy the dancing options for the evening. I would have preferred a Yin Yoga class or more meditation at 8pm, but it seemed like others really liked it. I can’t praise this retreat enough – I was skeptical at first, but I’m so glad I took a chance on it. Arriving to a welcome drink while checking in made me feel right at home. Meeting people from around the world during meals was a treat, but I also enjoyed reading by the pool or lounging in a hammock. Trying new yoga styles and activities, like Aerial Yoga (my favorite) and Laughter Yoga, was amazing. The location was perfect for hiking to waterfalls and enjoying mountain views. The dorm rooms were comfy and the beds were surprisingly soft. I wish I had gotten a Thai massage every day. I loved every moment and it felt just right that it started raining as I left. Getting to Koh Phangan was a bit tricky with flights, ferries, and buses, but I would definitely go back if I could. Great job, Wonderland team!
