It seems nothing comes without a cost. Unfortunately, I arrived when reception was closed, reminding me of past visits where I was turned away due to security checks. Despite these setbacks, the place still exudes beauty and tranquility.

The school has made extensive efforts to improve their image by offering free classes, marketing tactics, and having their members write positive reviews. It is best to avoid this school.

Unlike other commercial yoga centers, Agama focuses on transmitting authentic and unadulterated teachings of Yoga. The Swami leading the retreat does not cater to the ego, but rather challenges participants to face the truth, which may lead to negative opinions from those unwilling to confront their own ego. The teachings are not for those seeking to indulge in illusions, but rather for individuals who are prepared to transcend the ego. The Yoga and meditation practices are pure, supported by a deep lineage. Additionally, the retreat was inclusive and offered free of charge to all, showcasing another admirable aspect of Agama.

I ended up staying on the island for nearly three months solely because of this incredible school. The spiritual lessons were incredibly deep and I gained so much insight. I found answers to many of my innermost questions. If you’re seeking something transformative and meaningful, begin with level one and you’ll be hooked. I acquired more knowledge in level one than I did in my initial yoga teacher training. Don’t hesitate, give it a try! <3
