Our yoga sessions will transport you to a state of blissful meditation. Picture yourself practicing yoga in our garden Palapa, with the calming sounds of the waves and a captivating view out to sea. Our morning classes will begin early to beat the heat of the day, while our evening sessions will conclude just in time for you to witness the sun sink below the horizon from your yoga mat.
Subtitle 4: Two Unforgettable Locations
AdventureYogi has thoughtfully curated this adventure to take you to two exciting locations. The first leg of your journey will be on mainland Bali, followed by the neighboring island of Nusa Lembongan. In Ubud, you’ll make friends with monkeys at the Monkey Forest, and participate in a water purification ceremony and blessings at a stunning local temple. During your yoga classes, the surrounding jungle and rice paddies will serenade you as you find your inner peace. Once you reach Nusa Lembongan, you’ll be immersed in the joys of island beach life. Whether it’s snorkeling, surfing, lounging by the pool, or indulging in a relaxing massage at the villa, you’ll have the chance to create unforgettable memories. Additionally, you can embark on exciting boat trips through the mangroves and explore the magical underwater world that surrounds you.
Subtitle 5: A Journey into the World of Yoga
Morning yoga in Ubud will take place within the tranquil walled gardens of our resort, offering a serene environment that feels worlds away from the bustling town. On Nusa Lembongan, your private villa features an awe-inspiring ocean view Palapa where your practice will take place. The sessions will begin with gentle awakening exercises and gradually progress to more dynamic poses. Over the span of nine days, you’ll witness your body opening up to new depths in poses you never thought possible. You’ll discover that your meditation settles in more quickly and that silence becomes a cherished realm. Feel invigorated, refreshed, and ready to seize the day filled with adventure.
Subtitle 6: Evening Yoga to Unwind
After a day of exploration, it’s time to indulge in a more restorative yoga practice. Yin yoga will help release tension from the day’s activities, allowing you to fully relax and unwind as you witness the magnificent sunset over the sea. Once you’ve experienced deep relaxation through yoga Nidra and restorative poses, you can head down for a delicious dinner. Some evening classes may even be held on your private beachside platform or right on the sandy beach itself.
Please note that attending the yoga classes is not mandatory, and they are suitable for all levels. However, we encourage you to give them a try as the two-hour sessions often include meditation or mindfulness, offering a truly transformative experience.
Let’s go to Monkey Forest and take a boat trip to Manta Point! We can swim with manta rays and go snorkeling there.

September 2, 2023 at 12:00 amIn my opinion, I wished the hikes were longer or more challenging. Harriet, the yoga teacher, is truly incredible. She helped me improve my practice in a way I’ve never experienced before. I felt the most relaxed ever during her meditation sessions, with plenty of challenging yoga in between.
The chef we had was absolutely amazing. He prepared the most delicious vegan meals and took great care to accommodate those with allergies. I never imagined that healthy food could taste so heavenly.
There were so many opportunities for exploring during the walks and in the charming nearby town. The canoeing trip added an extra adventure that I will always cherish.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that I will never forget.

July 29, 2023 at 12:00 amThe bedroom was too warm at night, and I couldn’t figure out how to fix the thermostat. Unfortunately, the window only opened partially, which made me wonder if it was due to design or for security reasons. It wasn’t a huge issue, but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay there if the temperature had been in the late 20s…
The venue was absolutely beautiful, and everything was presented at a very high standard. The yoga teacher, Felicity, was excellent in every way, especially in how she effectively communicated during class. The sessions had the perfect balance and content, with more challenging ones in the morning and less intense ones in the evening.
The food prepared by Chloe was consistently outstanding and enjoyed by everyone in the group. I also want to express how much we appreciated Richard and Rachel’s guided walks on two of the days. They were enthusiastic, interesting to talk to, and great company.

July 18, 2023 at 12:00 amThe venue and setting provided the perfect atmosphere, but what truly made the retreat exceptional was Harriet, the instructor. She effortlessly captivated us, both on and off the mat.

I absolutely adored every aspect of the weekend – from the amazing yoga teaching, to the delicious food, the wonderful guests, the cozy accommodation, the serene yoga barn, the breathtaking surroundings, the well-planned timetable, and the freedom to just be. I came back home feeling incredibly relaxed and full of inspiration. A heartfelt thank you for everything.

January 3, 2023 at 12:00 amI didn’t know what to expect since it was my first yoga retreat, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed at the perfect time – a chance to take a break and reset. The venue was absolutely amazing, Alicia and her family made us feel so welcome, my retreat buddies were awesome, and the food was absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

December 4, 2022 at 12:00 amI think the asana didn’t have a connection to the spiritual or meditative aspects that make yoga more than just exercise. Maybe this says more about what I wanted in that moment than the retreat itself, but it often felt like we were just going through the motions with only brief mentions of the goals of yoga. Of course, some people might prefer this kind of retreat, so it’s more about personal preference than criticism.
By the way, someone from the company joined us (not the yoga instructor) who seemed to be there to learn about yoga. One tip for them is to keep their biases about where people come from to themselves when they’re hosting paying guests at a place that should be safe. People at a yoga retreat expect to feel welcomed and included, not targeted by snobbery. The location was lovely and the accommodation was cozy, warm, and beautiful. The yoga instructor was patient during class and attentive outside of class, making us feel welcome and comfortable. The hikes were amazing and just a step outside the front door. Great choice of hiking instructor, by the way!

August 31, 2022 at 12:00 amThe instructor really impressed me with their insightful and open approach, leading sessions that introduced me to new positions I hadn’t tried before. It made the whole experience incredibly interesting. Plus, the staff members, including the admin, chef, and yoga instructors, were all super friendly and made everyone feel right at home. And let me tell you, the vegan food and vegan cake were absolutely delicious – who knew? The walks were also amazing, and the highlight for me was the “free” day where we could choose our own activity. I highly recommend canoeing the river Wye – it’s a must-do! Overall, I had a fantastic time at the retreat.

August 27, 2022 at 12:00 amThere’s nothing to dislike. Felicity was absolutely amazing! Even though I was a complete newbie, she made me feel completely at ease. She supported, encouraged, and kept me up to speed with everything. And let me tell you, Hayley’s food was out of this world! We were served an incredible vegetarian diet that kept us satisfied despite all the yoga and hiking. Not to mention, the venue was stunning. The scenery really added to the whole experience, but it was the close bond within the group that took it to a whole new level.

August 27, 2022 at 12:00 amI’m leaving! And let me tell you, I didn’t just ‘like’ this retreat, I absolutely loved it. The venue was unbelievable, the location took my breath away, and Felicity was such an engaging and helpful host, all while making us feel like part of the group. And can we talk about Hayley, our awesome cook? The food was absolutely amazing, and I was never left hungry.
But you know what made this retreat truly special? Our incredible group. It’s crazy how we had never even met before, but the chemistry was instant. We laughed non-stop and had the best conversations.

June 6, 2022 at 12:00 amI was sometimes a bit too cold in the communal space when people left the doors open and during some of the yoga activities. I would have liked warmer weather or a warmer space for activities. The yoga sessions, food, program of events, venue, and group of people were all wonderful – couldn’t have asked for anything better (aside from maybe the weather, which was a bit chilly at times!). I loved the walks, outdoor pool, fire pit, and the accommodation was very good as well.

September 7, 2020 at 12:00 amI really needed a change of scene and some relaxation after being stuck in lockdown, and this retreat was absolutely perfect for that. They did a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and maintaining social distancing without making it feel weird or uncomfortable. The food was amazing (I even asked for recipes!), and the teaching was great – I’m not super experienced, but I was able to keep up and even learn some new things. They had options for more advanced students too, so everyone was happy. The estate was stunning, and the walks, both silent and group, were fantastic. I can honestly say this retreat exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning to AdventureYogi in the future.

September 1, 2020 at 12:00 amThe chef prepared and presented the food beautifully, and it tasted fabulous. Unfortunately, it didn’t agree with my digestion and made me feel uncomfortable.
Michelle assured me that adjustments could be made and even offered to have the chef speak with me before the retreat. This reassured me, and I look forward to booking another retreat in the future.
The teaching quality was excellent, with Nafia being my teacher (not on your list). It was efficient without feeling corporate, providing an authentic experience.

October 14, 2019 at 12:00 amI didn’t like sharing a bathroom. The house was too hot. The yoga space felt crowded with 12 people, but I enjoyed Amy’s class. She’s a fantastic teacher and a lovely person. The atmosphere was relaxed and encouraging. The food was delicious thanks to Yoki, who is a great cook. The location was convenient – just a short drive from Winchester on the A34 and A41. The house had a unique charm. My room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The free time was just enough. I enjoyed my massages with Phillippa and Amy. The people on the retreat were friendly and we all got along well. There were twelve of us in total.

August 29, 2019 at 12:00 amI didn’t really dislike anything, maybe just the slightly dated chalet. But who goes to the French Alps to hang out in a chalet, right? I absolutely adored this retreat. The weather was amazing and being up in the mountains felt like heaven. The women on this retreat, both instructors and other participants, were fantastic and really made the experience special. The food was incredible. The combination of hikes and yoga was exactly what I needed for my soul. I would totally recommend a yoga retreat to any of my friends.

November 29, 2017 at 12:00 amCharlotte, the amazing chef, made breakfast and lunch close together, leaving a long gap until dinner. She skillfully prepared food that was both beautiful and delicious, quite a challenge on a strict detox diet! She was also really helpful in answering all my questions about how she made the food taste so good. I’ve already tried recreating the green smoothie and the smokey roasted beetroot – the beetroot was simple and yummy! Next on my list is making kimchi. I’ve completely changed my cooking and eating habits since coming back home.
Rebecca, a great yoga teacher with lots of experience in different styles, led all the classes. Each lesson was unique and engaging. I now incorporate the breathing exercises she taught us into my daily routine. She made yoga feel accessible and relatable.
The other people on the course were also lovely!
Overall, it was an amazing weekend. Many thanks to everyone involved. I’ve successfully brought back my zen peace of mind into my daily life, which has been incredibly empowering.

October 23, 2017 at 12:00 amBreakfast felt very basic after a 2-hour yoga practice. If you’re a carb fan, then this would be your jam, but sadly, no colorful fruit or even tomatoes to break up the beige and brown on the table. The first night, a lot of people went to bed hungry, but they caught on and loaded up their plates the next day. The diners were delightful. Lunch, which wasn’t served until after 3pm, was simply soup and raw cabbage with onion – a tad disappointing after a long walk left everyone starving! The class sizes seemed a bit large for the room, with 17 of us crammed in there. I think 14 should be the max to ensure we have enough space. However, the location was fantastic with a beautiful old Manor House and a warm, friendly yoga team. Classes were enjoyable overall.
